Big Brother 24 Day 60 - Michael wins the Power of Veto
September 3, 2022
8:53 AM: Feeds went down for the veto player pick.
9:14 AM: Feeds returned. The veto players are Michael, Alyssa, Terrance, Brittany, Monte and Taylor.
9:16 AM: Terrance explained to Taylor that he was so angry after everything came out in regards to the Kyle situation. He said he plans to speak on it later in a house meeting. Terrance mentioned that Kyle played a significant role in it but he feels that Brittany and Michael share in the blame as they withheld the information. Terrance clarified that in no way was he feeling any type of way towards Taylor, though the relationship she has with Brittany and Michael disgusts him because he feels that it is manipulative on their part. Terrance talked about letting Michael know that he is going to have to answer for a lot of things in jury. As for why he talked about keeping Kyle, Terrance said it came from a perspective of using it as a teaching moment, not anything against Taylor. He said he dropped it once Monte gave his perspective on the matter. Terrance said he picked Taylor to compete so she knows that he is not angry at her. Taylor assured Terrance that while Brittany and Michael are feeding her a lot, she is not digesting it. Terrance said he doesn’t care who wins the game as long as it is not Brittany or Michael, and he would love for Monte and Taylor to be in the final two together.
9:52 AM: Monte told Alyssa he thinks that Terrance has a strong inclination that he may be heading home this week. Alyssa said she hopes that he is not campaigning against her, which she doesn’t think that he is at this point. Monte said Terrance has not said anything about her. He acknowledged that everyone is confused about why he picked Taylor to compete.
9:55 AM: Terrance let Alyssa know that there is nothing personal between them and that it’s just a game. He explained that certain things in the game have become personal but he has no issue with Alyssa. Terrance talked about having a disdain for Brittany and Michael due to them withholding the information about Kyle. He also made it clear that he does not think it’s right that Kyle is the only one taking the blame.
9:58 AM: Turner asked Taylor if Terrance gave any insight as to why he picked her. Taylor said it was basically an apology for turning on her last week. Turner said the timing is convenient. He asked if Taylor was as shocked as he was by it. Taylor said that she was.
10:19 AM: Michael told Monte he is wondering if Terrance is mad at Turner and will therefore try to get him not he block, meaning that he would not want him competing for veto. Monte wasn’t sure but said he has always felt that Terrance could not be trusted in this game due to everything that he has done in terms of throwing him under the bus and then trying to get Taylor out last week.
10:32 AM: Brittany told Michael that Taylor said Terrance picked her because he is trying to make amends. Brittany felt that Taylor was buying into it. Michael said he doesn’t think that Taylor will forget that Terrance has twice tried to flip the vote on her. Brittany said she feels good with Taylor but they have to consider that she has a Plan B in terms of the ability to go to the end with Monte. Both agreed that Monte would win if he were to make it to the end. Brittany brought up that the obvious move would be to take Turner out this week if not for the promise that was made last week. She added that it sucks Terrance is acting this way since she would feel much better about leaving him in the game with Turner over leaving Alyssa in with Turner. Brittany said she wishes that Turner hadn’t asked for safety from them since you should do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do, not for safety.
2:39 PM: Feeds went down for the veto competition.
8:50 PM: Feeds returned. Michael won the Power of Veto.
