Big Brother 24 Day 69 - Taylor is the replacement nominee
September 12, 2022
10:10 AM: Monte asked Taylor how she is doing. Taylor said she has been through it before as it’s the second time she will be on the block at his hands. Monte said he cant be blamed for the first one since that was about Nicole going on the block and Taylor wanted it as much as anyone. Taylor agreed. Monte said that as much as it sucks for Taylor to go up, he doesn’t think there is a way that the two of them don’t make it out of next week. Taylor said she can’t see a world where Brittany doesn’t take both of them or a world where Turner doesn’t take both of them. After that, Taylor said Turner knows that she would pick Monte over him and he even said so the night prior.
10:32 AM: Brittany asked Taylor how she is doing. Taylor said she is okay and explained that it’s a numbers thing at this point. She brought up that the two of them and Monte will make it through to next week but it’s a matter of her sitting on the block to get to that point. Taylor said she is confident as long as she has Brittany’s vote. Taylor said Monte made a deal with Turner that he would not go up as long as he would vote Alyssa out, doing him the favour of keeping him off of the block for helping get Michael out last week. Taylor let Brittany know that she would still like for the final three to be the two of them and Monte. She suggested that they can make it happen. Brittany said she thinks she and Taylor can but she isn’t so sure that Monte would make it happen if given the choice. Taylor revealed that she cannot say too much but Monte remains flexible.
10:59 AM: Feeds went down for the veto ceremony.
11:52 AM: Feeds returned. Brittany used the Power of Veto on herself. Monte nominated Taylor as the replacement nominee.
11:53 AM: Brittany and Taylor talked about making it to the final two together. Taylor said a girl has to win. Taylor said the people that were against them would have to choose between them at that point. Brittany said it comes down to winning at this point.
12:00 PM: Taylor spoke to the cameras. She said if she goes out trusting her people after she tried to get them to unite, she can live with that. She added that it’s “Leftovers until the end”.
12:04 PM: Taylor asked Monte if he has decided if and when he will tell Alyssa that she is going to be evicted. Monte said it will likely be the day before the eviction as he does not want her to be ruined for a week. He added that he would like to give her the chance to make a pitch.
3:18 PM: Alyssa spoke to the cameras. She said she is on the block, which isn’t great, but she feels like she has a pretty good social game. Alyssa attributed her social game to why she is still there. She pointed out that she is the last one standing who was not a part of the big alliance. Alyssa said she thinks that downplaying her game and the fact that she hasn’t won any competitions is great for being on the block. She talked about planning to let everyone know that she is not a threat and should be kept, and then hopefully she can stay this week and be one HoH away from making it to finale night.
5:45 PM: Turner told Brittany that they had their game talk late one night and then the very next day Michael told him that she was pitching to get him out of the house. Turner said he then exposed everything that they discussed out of anger. Turner said he is half sorry since he could have handled it better but he was feeling as though he had been played. Brittany said she doesn’t know if she believes that Michael said that, and she cannot say much without exposing too much of her game. Brittany clarified that her interpretation of the conversation was more so along the lines of them evaluating their options as opposed to creating a final two deal. As for this week, Brittany said Monte told her that things are irreparable between the two of them. Brittany asked if the same is true with Turner. Turner said they can repair things as he does not take any of this personally. Turner informed Brittany that Michael said she was lying about her job and everything that she does. Brittany asked if Turner told anyone else that information. Turner said he did not but he does not know if anyone else knows. Going forward, they both agreed that there are scenarios in which they would save each other. The two confirmed with each other that they will be voting to evict Alyssa this week. Turner asked that Brittany not let Alyssa know which way he is voting since he is good friends with her and would like to wait to tell her until the night before.
6:31 PM: Alyssa told Turner that if she doesn’t win this game, she hopes he wins the game. Turner thanked her and said if she happens to leave this week and walks out without any goodbyes, he would be so annoyed. Alyssa said that she would never do that.
7:33 PM: Alyssa talked to Brittany about her vote. Brittany explained that she is not saying this is the case but hypothetically if Monte and Turner did not want to keep her and she did vote to save her, it could lead to a scenario in which they target her next week. Brittany said she would have to think about that at this point. Alyssa said she completely understands that and would not expect a vote just for the sake of a vote. Alyssa said she plans to have conversations with both Monte and Turner in order to plead her case. Alyssa added that if Brittany was the reason she stayed, she would owe her her game. Brittany asked if Michael said anything to Alyssa about her before he left. Alyssa said he told her that Brittany has deals with everyone and she is lying about her career.
7:35 PM: Turner filled Monte in on his conversation with Brittany. Turner said he told her that he is probably going to vote Alyssa out but don’t tell her that. Turner said he will definitely be able to tell if Brittany lets Alyssa know. Monte didn’t see any reason for Brittany to go to Alyssa with that information. Turner agreed. Turner said he told Brittany that Michael said she is not who she claims to be, and she was very unhappy about that. Turner said he told her that he did not tell anyone else but he does not know who Michael told. Turner said it was fascinating that she was pretty freaked out about it. Monte said it doesn’t even matter at this point, and the only thing that could happen is it creates distrust between her and Taylor if it gets out.
8:17 PM: Taylor asked Brittany if she and Turner talked about the vote. Brittany confirmed that they did. Taylor asked if they are on the same page. Brittany said yeah, later confirming that the page is keeping Taylor. Taylor said she will always make the decision to protect her and Brittany. Brittany agreed. She mentioned that Alyssa’s pitch is about being easier to beat next week. Brittany said she needs someone in there that will be with her next week, so Alyssa’s pitch is actually working against her. Brittany asked if Taylor would pick her. Taylor said yes. Brittany said she knew that but just needed to hear it.
9:03 PM: Brittany spoke to the cameras. She said earlier this afternoon she was 75% sure that Michael did not betray her but now she is 0% sure. Brittany wondered what she should do now that everyone knows she is not who she says she is. She questioned why she told Michael in the first place. She said it was because she thought that he knew. Her concern is that Taylor will feel as though she did not trust her as much as Michael since she did not let her know that information. Brittany decided that it was best not to talk about it any further until she wins a competition. Brittany said she knows that Monte is against her and she is going to assume that Turner is even though he is very good at lying and trying to convince her otherwise.
