BBCAN4 Day 16 - Dallas Wins The Power of Veto

March 12, 2016

10:00-11:00 AM: Feeds went down and the players were picked for the veto competition. Loveita, Cassandra, Christine, Dallas, Jared and Ramsey will be competing. Tim will host the competition. Dallas told Maddy that Loveita made terrible nominations and he thinks that she is starting to realize it. He said that there are bigger players to be put up. Maddy wondered if Loveita would be open to a backdoor. Dallas said that he is not going to talk to her about it until after the competition, but he will try to get her on board with it if he wins it. Jared spoke to Cassandra and told her that they have the numbers to keep her as of right now. He said that he would have to talk to Loveita before making any decision about using the veto, since Loveita did something good for him this week. Jared said that he is going to try to win it and he would love to backdoor the brothers. Cassandra agreed that that would be ideal.

Kelsey and Loveita chatted in the HoH room. Loveita said that she liked Kelsey from Day 1 and wants her to know that what she said is what she meant, so she will not backdoor her. Loveita reiterated that she made a promise to Kelsey and will stick to it. She said that they are all really smart and can go far. Loveita brought up the comment that Cassandra made after the HoH competition. Kelsey said she truly believes that Cassandra was joking when she made that comment. She added that she really trusts Cassandra and sees her as someone that they can work with, as opposed to Christine who will not let this go. Loveita mentioned that she would like to see the nominations stay the same, though she left the door open to getting Cassandra the numbers to stay. Kelsey suggested nominating Maddy if the veto is used. Kelsey asked Loveita to keep her mind open to the idea of using the PoV on Cassandra. After the conversation ended, Kelsey filled Cassandra in on everything. Cassandra told her that she had a plan and needed her not to talk to Loveita. Kelsey explained that it was Loveita that asked to talk. She also said that it would be weird if she didn’t try to campaign for Cassandra.

Cassandra headed up to the HoH room to talk to Loveita, who said that her fear is that she would use the veto on Cassandra and she would still be mad at her anyway. Cassandra said that she is not even mad right now. Loveita asked if they can go back to where they were. Cassandra told her that she would like to go back to that right now. She assured Loveita that she has her back. Loveita said that she believes that they have the numbers to save Cassandra right now, so she would rather not have to backdoor anyone. Cassandra brought up the idea of backdooring the brothers, saying that it would be a hero move. Loveita disagreed that it would be a hero move, since backdooring someone in the third week is not a hero move. After the talk wrapped up, Loveita said to herself that she does not trust Cassandra. Next up, Ramsey spoke to Loveita. He said that he sees Jared, Kelsey and Raul leading Loveita to believe that Dallas, Maddy and himself are the bad guys. Loveita pointed out that they are not on the block. Ramsey said that he doesn’t know where the Loveita that said she wanted to nominate Kelsey and Raul went. Loveita said that it offends her when people are questioning her because she did not make the move that was best others but not for her. Loveita then said that she believes in God and does not believe in eye for an eye. She told Ramsey that he doesn’t either, which he agreed with. Ramsey said that he was initially planning on using the Power of Veto, but now he is not so sure. They agreed that they will talk things over if Ramsey wins.

12:00-1:00 PM: Loveita pulled Jared aside and told him that she is really uneasy about Cassandra. Jared said he understands and he will respect Loveita’s nominations. Jared revealed that he will keep the nominations the same if he wins the PoV. As for Loveita’s reason for not trusting Cassandra, she said that it is because Kelsey trusts her so much. Loveita made it clear that she wants Cassandra to go, saying that she does not even care if Christine is gunning for her. Loveita pointed out that Cassandra was willing to get rid of Kelsey. Jared said that Cassandra is somebody that flip flops a lot.

2:00-3:00 PM: Dallas and Maddy discussed that they need to get Loveita to backdoor the brothers. Dallas thought that Maddy would need to go to Loveita and point out that the girls are all being picked off, so they need to take out the brothers in order to even things up. Cassandra joined them. Dallas told her that she needs to be with them if they can get the brothers out. Cassandra agreed that those two need to go. She said that Phil thinks that he is the mastermind of the house. Maddy told Cassandra to be smart, because she knows that Kelsey and Raul don’t care about her. Dallas and Maddy then spoke to Ramsey about the plan. Dallas said that he is willing to make a big move if he wins the PoV. Ramsey asked if they are going to take Christine off. Dallas and Maddy said yes. Ramsey was confused as to why they are going after the brothers instead of Jared, Kelsey and Raul. Dallas told him that Loveita has clearly cut a deal with those three, so there is no way that she will nominate them. Ramsey said that he is on board with cutting the brothers, though he said that he would be the biggest idiot if he uses the PoV and then Loveita nominates Dallas or Maddy. Maddy said that she is aware of that possibility.

In the bathroom, Jared and Tim were discussing various scenarios. Tim was asking about what Jared would do if he won the PoV. Jared said that he would be worried that Loveita would nominate Kelsey or Raul if he uses the veto. Jared felt that they would have the votes to save Cassandra. Tim wondered why Cassandra is the target. They thought that it was odd if it all had to do with the comment after the competition. Tim told Jared that it’s obvious that Loveita is working with others, so they cannot be afraid to upset her. Both agreed that she is working with the brothers. Jared revealed that he would nominate the brothers and someone like Joel if he wins the next HoH competition. Jared said that he told Cassandra that he would throw the PoV to her if it came down to the two of them and he can do so without making it too obvious. Tim said that she doesn’t think that Loveita’s word means anything, because she told Cassandra right before making her nominations that she would not be putting her up. Mitch went to the HoH room to check in with Loveita. She told him that she does not trust Cassandra. Mitch let Loveita know that he had walked in on a conversation between Tim and Jared in which Tim said that Loveita told Cassandra that she was not going on the block, so she cannot be trusted. Loveita said that it was Tim who suggested that Cassandra would be a good option to nominate. They discussed that Tim is stirring the pot. Mitch advised Loveita to take her conversations with Tim with a grain of salt. Mitch hinted that Kelsey would need to go on the block if Jared uses the PoV on Cassandra, since it would show that Kelsey is in control.

3:00-4:00 PM: Cassandra told Christine that Loveita probably nominate her because Tim has a crush on her. Christine agreed 100%. They wondered why girls have to act that way and hate on each other. Cassandra thought that her game could be seen as embarrassing, since she defended Loveita last week and now she was nominated by her. Cassandra said that Phil is the biggest snake in the house. They both agreed that the brothers need to go. Cassandra felt that everyone was on board with it but they still needed to convince Loveita to make the move. Kelsey joined them. Cassandra asked Kelsey if she would be going after Loveita next week. Kelsey said that she would likely go after Maddy, as the brothers have not personally done anything to her. Christine said that Maddy is harmless. She told Kelsey that she needs to focus on big players. Cassandra asked Kelsey if she thinks that Loveita would nominate her, Jared or Raul if the veto is used. Kelsey said that Loveita told her that she wouldn’t. They figured that Loveita would have nominated them last night if she was going to go in that direction.

4:00-5:00 PM: Big Brother cut the feeds. While they were down, the houseguests got to see a video that involved their loved ones. There were also clues that the houseguests thought could be related to the veto competition. The competition will be “Allegiant” themed, in advance of the movie’s premiere.

5:00-6:00 PM: Phil said that it is weird being in the middle. Tim said that you have got to plan your moves right, as bad timing will lead to your eviction. Tim told Phil that people are starting to notice him. He said that he knows that. Tim suggested that people will nominate him in order to flush him out. Phil asked who is feeding him that. Tim said that he is not going to name names because he doesn’t even remember names. Tim let Phil know that if he was playing the game he would flush him out and force him to choose a side. Phil told Mitch that he is sitting in a very good spot. Tim said that it sometimes causes people to become threats, as others will want to make those types become unstable like they are. Phil said that he has got a few tricks up his sleeve. Tim said that it would be interesting if one of them in the middle got HoH. Tim told them that rather than appease the people that have been in power or want to be in power, he would screw them both over because they have the numbers. Tim said that Nikki and himself can be used for those types of moves. Tim pointed out that it is sad that Cassandra and Christine have to be on the block this week, because they got caught up in the war. Phil said that Cassandra’s comment did not help her.

6:00-7:00 PM: Loveita told Nikki that it is obvious that Tim is stirring the pot, though it is obvious that people are not too smart. Nikki said that she hopes that Tim is being truthful to her. Loveita said that she doesn’t think so. Nikki said that he changes his mind too readily. Loveita felt that it was so dangerous and untrustworthy. Loveita asked Nikki if she knew Tim. Nikki said that she only met him when she got there. Nikki was unsure of whether or not Tim tells her everything. Loveita said that she doesn’t know if he ever tells the truth. She called him a snake in the grass and said that he is making up stuff in order to get people against each other. Nikki said that she honestly does not know what is going on. Loveita told her that Tim seems to have been put in there to cause drama. Loveita said that Tim is the one that told her to put Cassandra up.

10:00-11:00 PM: The live feeds returned following the veto competition. Dallas won the Power of Veto. Jared and Kelsey were talking to Jared. They discussed using the PoV in order to get the brothers backdoored. Dallas said that he will not use the PoV until it is set in stone that the brothers will be the replacement nominee. Dallas planned to speak to Loveita and tell her that the girls are becoming extinct in the house and they need to get the brothers out in order to even things up. Shortly thereafter, Loveita told Dallas that she is happy that he won. Dallas asked if she is going to be happy if he changes it up. Loveita said no because it will be more blood on her hands, though she said that it is up to him. Dallas mentioned that he has a plan and he ran it by the house already. He assured her that it would be unanimous and she would have the backing of both sides of the house. Though he did not bring up any names, Dallas did use the line that the girls are becoming extinct in the house. They agreed to talk more later. After Loveita left, Dallas told Maddy that he isn’t sure which nominee next to the brothers would solidify that the votes do not flip. They did mention that they gave Christine their word.

Joel and Loveita chatted in the have-not room. Joel said that he believes that the relationship with Cassandra can be repaired, while Christine is someone that cannot be reasoned with. Loveita told him that she cannot trust Cassandra. Joel let Loveita know that Christine called her nominations a spineless move. Loveita believes that both she and Joel are in a good position but Cassandra is someone that can ruin that. She said that they need to stick to the plan and get Cassandra out. Loveita pointed out that Cassandra is really good at talking to people and she is very sneaky. Loveita brought up that Cassandra told her that she cannot trust Kelsey but she has been hanging around her all the time. Loveita also had concerns about Tim, because he told her to nominate Cassandra but is now going to be campaigning for her. She wanted to talk to Tim in order to get to the bottom of things and figure out what he is up to. Joel said that it scares him that he does not know what Dallas is going to do with the PoV. Loveita said that it is her HoH and people need to respect that. She did say that Dallas will at least talk things over with her.

12:00-1:00 AM: The houseguests sat down for dinner together. Afterwards, Mitch told Loveita that he does not think that the brothers are coming after her. Loveita said that she would not nominate them, though she wants to know who Dallas wants her to nominate and why. Mitch said that other people will get the brothers out, so there is no reason for Loveita to waste her time on them. Loveita agreed. Meanwhile, in the have-not room, Tim was telling Joel that it could be dangerous to get rid of the brothers. He felt that the brothers could help lead a group that consists of those that are in the middle, in hope of taking down the two sides. Loveita broke up the conversation and asked Tim if she could speak with him. Loveita asked Tim if he is trying to stir things up. He said that he is trying to fit in with a group that wants to work with him and use him. Loveita then said that she knows that Tim is campaigning for Cassandra, which he denied. Tim admitted to being annoyed with Cassandra for siding with Jared, Kelsey and Raul. He explained that he does not want to work with her.

1:00-2:00 AM: Loveita and Tim continued to talk, with Loveita letting Tim know that Joel, Mitch and herself would love to work with him. Tim said that is what he wants as well. They both agreed that Nikki can be a part of the group too. Tim said that he has always wanted to work with the misfits and outsiders of the bunch. As for the brothers, Loveita said that she would like to keep them in the game. They discussed that the brothers are people that they can work with but they will be kept on the outside of the alliance. Tim let Loveita know that if he is going to shake on an alliance he wants it to be one in which everyone has equal say and equal power. Loveita agreed. Loveita then reiterated that Cassandra has got to go. Tim told her that he will not fight and will simply say that he does not know what is going on. Loveita thought that they would need to act fast on making the alliance, because she feared that Cassandra would be able to rally the votes. Tim told her that Cassandra doesn’t have any. After wrapping things up, Tim headed back downstairs to talk to Joel. He filled Joel in on the proposed group.

Loveita then asked Dallas to speak. Dallas said that the people that sketch him out the most in the house are the brothers. Dallas said they have mentioned on multiple occasions that they will become individual players. Loveita told him that the brothers are not even after him, but Dallas disagreed. Loveita kept saying that Cassandra is after Dallas and needs to be the one to go. Despite that, Dallas continued to push for the brothers to go. He told Loveita that Cassandra does not scare him as much as the brothers do in terms of being a competitor. Loveita told Dallas that he is only doing the dirty work of the others if he tries to take the brothers out of the house. She said that it is unnecessary for him to get blood on his hands in order to take out people that are not after him. Dallas was convinced that the brothers would target him next week. Loveita suggested that Dallas should use the PoV to his advantage by making a deal with the brothers. He told her that they will not even look him in the eye. Loveita told Dallas to go get the brothers and make a deal with them in front of her, as she would nominate them if they later went back on the deal.

3:00-4:00 AM: Dallas, Loveita and Phil spoke in the HoH room. They cleared things up between them. Dallas told Phil that he is looking for a deal that would secure that they would target other people for a few weeks. Phil said that he is on board with it. Phil said that he is glad that they are having this talk, because he has never once said that Dallas is sketchy. Dallas let Phil know that he will keep the nominations the same as long as they are good. They shook on it. The three discussed that Cassandra has got to go. Dallas said that there are bigger fish to fry and Phil is not on his radar. After Dallas left, Loveita asked Phil if he is going to keep his word to Dallas. Phil said that he will. Loveita told Phil that they need to form a new group and keep it under wraps. She said that they need to keep the house dynamics the same. Phil agreed. In the event that Dallas does use the PoV, Loveita let Phil know that she is planning on nominating Maddy.
