BBCAN4 Day 23 - Dallas wins the Power of Veto
March 19, 2016
10:00-11:00 AM: Players were picked for the veto competition. Joel, Kelsey, Raul, Dallas, Jared and Ramsey will be competing. Joel told Dallas that he trusts that everyone aside from Jared, Kelsey and Raul are on the same page in terms of needing to send one of those three home. Joel said that he did not want Jared to get picked to play but he is now jacked and wanting to win it. Dallas agreed that it is good motivation. Mitch then spoke to Joel, asking him if Jared would be the replacement nominee if Kelsey or Raul win the PoV. Joel said that he would nominate Tim, because he is confident that he has at least five votes in his corner to save Tim. Mitch said that Kelsey is the one that holds the trio together, so he would prefer that she not win the PoV. Both Joel and Mitch agreed that it is best for Kelsey to go this week. Mitch said that he can have more influence over both Jared and Raul if Kelsey is out of the picture. Mitch told Joel that he is in a good spot because a lot of people think that Loveita made this decision. Loveita joined Joel and said that Jared’s side plays a very unfair game, thinking that everyone has to bow down to them and never put them on the block. The two discussed that Loveita is taking some of the blame for this move, even though it was Joel that made the nominations.
11:00-12:00 PM: Kelsey spoke to Joel and told him that there are no hard feelings and she understands that it is a game. She then said that it was a bit of a silly move on Joel’s part, considering Jared, Raul and herself really liked him and trusted him. Kelsey pointed out that there is a pretty big alliance in the other room and that targeting them would have been a big move as well. Kelsey mentioned that Maddy does not talk to Joel at all, so it hurt that she was nominated over someone like Maddy. Kelsey brought up Joel telling Jared that he will not backdoor him. Joel reassured Kelsey that he will not make that move, adding that he gave Jared his word man to man. Kelsey said that she will not necessarily use the PoV on herself if she wins it, because she might decide to save Raul instead. Elsewhere, Loveita spoke to Jared about placing the blame for this move on her. Jared said that he does think that she played a role in it. He said that there is no chance that they would have nominated Joel. Loveita explained that she is not going to go to bat for them when they wouldn’t do it for her. Jared told Loveita that she is contradicting herself since last week she wanted to work with them. Jared said that it is terrible that Loveita would manipulate a guy like she has with Joel. Loveita walked off, saying she knows that Jared thinks that he is a God in the house and everybody is his best friend.
Loveita headed back to the HoH room and began to cry. She said that she is going to go to the diary room and leave. Loveita told Cassandra and Joel that she is not going to be slandered on television. She said that she has not taken any shot at Jared even though he has taken multiple shots at her. Cassandra pointed out that she has not taken any shots at Loveita. Joel headed out to go tell Jared that this was his move, he made his own decision and did what was best for his game. Kelsey said that they are upset because Loveita looked them in the eyes a week ago and told them that she wanted to make a deal with them. She told Joel that Loveita’s word means nothing and she will go wherever she thinks that she can weasel her way in and be the puppet master. Joel told Kelsey that Loveita is not the puppet master and that everybody has a mind and thinks for themselves. Kelsey admitted that it will upset her if Loveita ends up getting what she wanted all along by getting her out of the house. Back in the HoH room, Cassandra told Loveita that she needs to stay in the game and do this for her friends and family. The two agreed that Joel is the only person that they can trust. Cassandra told Loveita that she doesn’t know why she is saying this but she thinks that they should work together. Loveita said that it makes total sense. Cassandra questioned Loveita about who told her that she was going to put her and the brothers up. Loveita did not want to say. Cassandra said that girls gossip about other girls, while guys fight it out and are then good, so they need to put a stop to that. Loveita agreed that guys can so easily get over things.
12:00-1:00 PM: Cassandra told Loveita that she does not want to put her up on the block and that she would never have came after her before last week. Loveita asked if she could have trusted Kelsey. Cassandra said that she thinks so, because Kelsey means stuff when she says it. Cassandra let Loveita know that she is not an easy person to align with due to how much she thinks, but Cassandra also said that Loveita is someone that is smart and is loyal to her people. Loveita told Cassandra that she will not put her back up on the block but she will have to gun for her if she finds out that Cassandra is doing the same towards her. Loveita suggested that they could create a truce and lay everything out on the table. Cassandra said that she would be fine with that, since they both have different info. Loveita asked who Tim voted for. Cassandra said that Tim voted to evict her. Loveita wanted to know why. Cassandra said that Tim wanted to mess with the votes to make it seem like a split. Loveita then asked for the truth about the trio. Cassandra said that they are forever together. Loveita asked how Cassandra feels about Mitch. Cassandra said that Mitch is closest with Raul out of the three, though he is on the outside of the three. After giving Loveita information, Cassandra asked who said that she would nominate Loveita and the brothers. Loveita did not want to reveal it just yet. She wanted more information about Kelsey. Cassandra said that Kelsey has a huge heart and cares about her people. Cassandra told Loveita that Kelsey would likely go after Dallas and Maddy. Loveita then revealed that it was Maddy who said that Cassandra would nominate her and the brothers. The girls continued to discuss building trust between them and working together. After Cassandra left, Loveita told Joel that maybe she should trust Cassandra. Loveita asked Joel if he thinks that Cassandra was being legit. Joel said that he thinks so. They then discussed that Kelsey needs to go in order to get Cassandra away from her. Both agreed that they have now lost some trust in Jared after his earlier talk with Loveita.
1:00-2:00 PM: Jared apologized to Loveita for yelling at her. Loveita apologized to him as well. Jared said that he did not intend to yell at her when he went into the conversation. In the bedroom, Dallas, Maddy and Ramsey discussed which way they should vote if the nominations stay the same. Dallas figured that it would be in their best interest to break up the showmance. Dallas pointed out that Raul is someone that will irritate people alter in the game, though Kelsey will continue to play the sweet and innocent game. Dallas told Maddy that the two of them may need to stage a fight. His concern was that they would become easy targets after Jared’s side is dealt with. In the high roller room, Kelsey said that this is her second time on the block and she does not understand why no one wants to try anything new or go against the other side. Jared and Kelsey agreed that they see themselves as the nicer people in the house. Kelsey told Jared that it’s nice that he apologized to Loveita but she is over her.
3:00-4:00 PM: Tim asked Cassandra what happened with Loveita. Cassandra told him that she did massive work with Loveita today, adding that she does not even know how she managed to do it all in one day. Cassandra voiced her opinion that Raul should be the one to go this week. She told Tim that Raul would come after him but Kelsey would not. She then pointed out that Raul is closer with Mitch, so getting Raul out would allow them to bring Mitch closer. Cassandra and Tim agreed that Kelsey is predictable and you can read her. Nikki joined them and said that she doesn’t think that Kelsey will go this week. Nikki mentioned that Joel is being destroyed by this HoH week. She felt as though it was wearing him out and Loveita will not leave him alone.
4:00-5:00 PM: Cassandra went to Kelsey and told her that she needs her in the game and she will not be leaving this week. Kelsey said that Jared had already told her the same thing. Cassandra told Kelsey that she will have to campaign a bit if it comes down to her and Raul, though she followed that up by saying that she will do the campaigning for Kelsey. Kelsey expressed interest in speaking to Joel about the replacement nominee, seeing as she would consider using the PoV on Raul if she is the one that is more likely to have the votes. Cassandra told her that she cannot be stupid and has to use the PoV on herself. They discussed that they need to try to get Dallas out this week. Kelsey thought that Dallas would be the only person that would for sure go home over her or Raul. Cassandra went over the numbers that they would have in the event that Raul ends up leaving. They listed off Jared, Tim and Mitch, but Kelsey said that she is worried that Mitch had something to do with the nominations. The girls then discussed the need to get Loveita out. Kelsey questioned why Loveita didn’t make this move on her own last week, rather than pretending to want to work with them.
11:00-12:00 AM: Feeds returned following the veto competition. For the second straight week, Dallas won the Power of Veto. Much of the talks around the house were about a fight between Cassandra and Loveita. The girls had a quick discussion in the HoH room and it became clear that they had staged the fight. Cassandra said that they need to be careful because people are going to become suspicious that they are faking it. Jared has separate talks with Kelsey and Raul. They discussed how it sucks that one of them as to go. Jared pointed out that Dallas would have been leaving had Mitch won rock, paper, scissors and taken the HoH away from Joel. Jared said that at least they all found each other and will be friends after the show ends. Jared told Raul that he can’t even be mad at Joel for making the move. He said that he would not target Joel, opting instead to target the people that surround him.
12:00-1:00 AM: Jared and Kelsey chatted in the storage room. Kelsey asked Jared what he thinks that they should do. Jared said that he would like Kelsey to stay for his own sanity. Jared admitted that he would likely be less of a target if Kelsey left. Kelsey said that it will probably be her that ends up having to go. Jared asked why. Kelsey did not want to say much, though she said that it would make Jared less of a target like he said. They then discussed Loveita’s behaviour and how she is picking fights with everyone of late. Tim joined them and said that Loveita has worked out a weird way of insulting everyone but pretending that it is a joke. Tim said that the only one that is buying her crap is Joel. Tim wondered if Loveita is trying to get Canada to fall for her by driving everyone nuts. Jared thought that it would be having the opposite impact on her image. Up in the HoH room, Dallas, Joel and Loveita talked things over. Loveita was pushing for the three of them to work together moving forward. Dallas was on board. Loveita asked Joel if he is down for that, so he said that he is in as well. Dallas told them that what he can offer is to bring other votes in, such as Maddy and Ramsey. He specifically asked that “the foreigners” be left out of their business. Dallas said he assumes that Joel would like to have his nominations stay the same. Joel said that he would be happy with that. Dallas let Joel know that he will respect that decision and leave the nominations the same.
1:00-2:00 AM: Loveita asked Joel what he would like to have happen. Joel said that he does not expect Dallas to use the PoV. If he doesn’t use it, Joel felt that it would be best to target Kelsey. Loveita agreed and said that they need to break up the showmance. Joel told Loveita that Dallas wants to do that as well, so they will only need a few more votes. They figured that Mitch, Nikki and Ramsey would all vote with them. Loveita had a feeling that Tim may try to save Kelsey. Though Joel does not think that Dallas will use the PoV, he said that he would like to be prepared for if he does. Joel still plans to nominate Tim as a pawn. He discussed talking to Tim about it ahead of time, telling him that the plan is not for the PoV to be used but he will be nominated if it is used. Joel did not want to blindside Tim, because he feels as though he has a good relationship with him and Tim is not after him. Loveita agreed that it would be best to fill Tim in on things beforehand.
Dallas, Phil, Maddy and Nick discussed the vote. Phil argued that it would be best to get Raul out of the house. His argument in favour of doing that was that the showmance would remain an easy target for people and they would continue to go after them, especially in a double eviction. Dallas said that Phil made a good point. Dallas said he thinks that he is really on board with that move. Nick said that he would rather compete against Kelsey than Raul. Dallas agreed and said that the showmance would stick out like a sore thumb. Dallas asked Maddy who she would like to see go. Maddy said that she would obviously like to see Kelsey go, because she is screwed if Kelsey stays. Dallas said that Raul is better socially and from a competitive standpoint. Phil said that Jared could become a whole new player if he loses Kelsey, as opposed to remaining comfortable if he can keep her. Dallas added that it may unleash a beast if Kelsey leaves. Phil agreed. Maddy said that she would only be on board with the move if she knows that she would have the votes next week if Kelsey wins HoH. Dallas didn’t understand why people are being afraid to take a shot at Jared. Phil said that Dallas could always use the PoV. Dallas told him that Joel does not want it to be used, or else he would be down with that. They continued to go back and forth debating which nominee should leave, before deciding to talk further tomorrow.
