BBCAN4 Day 24
March 20, 2016
10:00-11:00 AM: Raul received a punishment from last night’s veto competition. He has to rope a bull 1000 times. It is currently not clear what his punishment will be in the event that he cannot complete it. Up in the HoH room, Joel and Loveita discussed that hopefully Kelsey will go home this week. Loveita said she has a feeling that people are going to try to keep her. Loveita mentioned that it would be smart for them to be in two alliances, since they never know who is going to get picked off. Loveita wanted to bring Dallas in. Joel told her that Mitch would have reservations about bringing Dallas in. Loveita thought that they should leave him out of that because he is a floater and will not want to be associate with the group.
12:00-1:00 PM: Tim told Nikki that he wants Raul to go this week. Nikki asked why. Tim explained that Kelsey is Jared’s weakness, not his strength. Tim said that people do not understand that Jared will have nothing to lose if Kelsey is gone. He felt as though Jared could work with anyone at that point, including with those on Dallas’ side. Nikki said that she used to hate Raul but she now finds him funny, so she will be voting to keep him. Tim said that it’s fine that Nikki is voting that way but those that are looking at it from a strategic standpoint may decide to vote the other way. Tim told Nikki that he is still wanting to work with Joel and Loveita, at least until Dallas and Maddy are broken apart. Tim pointed out that Loveita is trying to get rid of any girl that is preventing her from working with a specific guy, because she wants to work with the guys. Loveita joined them. Tim explained to her that Jared and Kelsey will isolate themselves due to the romance between them. Loveita said that she can see that. Tim told her that getting Kelsey out may not be best if your goal is to later get Jared out. Loveita agreed with Tim that Jared could align with anyone after Kelsey leaves. Loveita said that she has no clue which way she is going to vote.
Out in the backyard, Mitch spoke to Raul while he was working towards completing his punishment task. Mitch told Raul that he needs him to stay in the game. Raul said that he wants to stay. Mitch said that he initially expected people to view the showmance as the bigger threat but he is not sure that it is going that way. Mitch told Raul that it could be beneficial to his game to find out what the punishment would be in the event that he cannot complete his task. Mitch suggested that people would keep Raul in the house if he cannot compete in the next HoH competition, since their concern about keeping him is that he is the stronger competitor. Out by the hot tub, Cassandra and Dallas discussed the vote. Cassandra pointed out that the target on that side will be taken away if you evict Kelsey. Dallas disagreed and said that everyone knows that those people will stick together no matter who stays. Not long after, Dallas backtracked a bit and said that everyone will see the showmance as a target if they stay in the house together. As for Raul, he said that Raul is more likely to win a competition and gun after him. Cassandra said that Raul is more dangerous because you don’t know what he will do. Dallas said that Jared may become a more reckless player if Kelsey leaves, so it may be better to keep Kelsey. Cassandra figured that Mitch would be more on his own if Raul leaves, since he is closer to Raul than to Jared and Kelsey. Tim joined Cassandra and Dallas. He said that Kelsey is Jared’s biggest weakness and is keeping him from being in a mindset where he has nothing to lose. Tim felt as though Jared would stay logical if Kelsey is in the game, because she is one to play emotionally and he would have to balance her out. Dallas said that he is really starting to think about keeping Kelsey.
1:00-2:00 PM: After Dallas was called to the diary room, Cassandra and Tim continued to talk. Cassandra told Tim that Dallas is convinced that the brothers, Joel and Loveita are together. Tim said that the two of them are in on it as well, since he considers himself to be in and then Cassandra is in by association. Tim said that having the brothers and Loveita in their new alliance is beneficial because they will always be targets ahead of them. Cassandra agreed that the brother would be but did not feel the same way about Loveita. Cassandra expects her to fall under the radar. Tim likened her to Sabrina in that sense. He admitted that he watched the entire season of Big Brother Canada 2. He told Cassandra that he did not want people to think that he knew the game. Tim then said that he has yet to decide whether or not he wants to win the game. He said that it will come down to whether or not he is at the end with a bunch of jerks which would cause him to want to win. Cassandra told Tim that she would want to take him to the Final 3 because she can argue that he has already won in his own country. Tim expected that to be the way that people look at it. Cassandra said Tim had better choose her if they are in the Final 3 with a weak player. Tim said absolutely.
Meanwhile, in the high roller room, Loveita and Maddy discussed aligning with Dallas, Joel, Nikki and Ramsey. They agreed to meet up in the HoH room late tonight once everyone else is asleep. As for this week’s vote, they both agreed that Kelsey needs to be the one to go. They figured that Kelsey would nominate the two of them if she stays in the game. Maddy then let Loveita in on her thoughts when it comes to the brothers. She noted that Nick and Phil are attempting to be sponges that absorb information from opposing sides of the house, with Nick being on her side and Phil being on Jared’s side. Maddy said that the two will then use all of that information to ensure that they are covered on whichever side they choose to go with in a given week. Loveita thought that it would be important to let Joel know about that. Ramsey joined the girls and was filled in on the plan to meet up late tonight. He was concerned that Nikki may run back to Tim with information about the group, so they ultimately decided not to include Nikki. Once the girls told Ramsey that they would prefer to evict Kelsey this week, Ramsey got on board with the idea and said that he will be with the majority for once.
2:00-3:00 PM: Loveita and Maddy headed up to the HoH room to talk to Joel. Loveita told Maddy to let Joel know about the brothers. She then explained that they are sponges that are absorbing all of the information in different rooms. After discussing the brothers, Maddy brought up that Mitch may be telling them that he is concerned about his position on Jared’s side even though he feels comfortable with it. She wondered if Mitch is saying these things just because he wants them to think that he is scared about where he stands over there. The talk was then interrupted because the houseguests had to head out to the backyard to watch Raul complete his punishment task. Raul successfully roped the bull 1000 times. Joel and Loveita headed back up to the HoH room to talk. Loveita said she is not sure if Mitch is truly with the two of them. Joel wasn’t sure that Mitch would have made the same move that he did had he won HoH. Loveita said that they may have to limit the information that they share with Mitch but they will make sure that they still have his back. Loveita thought that Mitch could help the two of them in the even that Jared’s side wins HoH, while they could protect Mitch in the event that Dallas’ side wins HoH. Loveita suggested that Cassandra could help protect them on the other side as well. Through Cassandra, they figured that they had a link to Tim. They discussed that Nikki is also in their back pocket and will vote with them. Loveita thought that it would be best to warn Mitch that he needs to lay low because people are becoming suspicious.
3:00-4:00 PM: Jared told Mitch that people seem to want to keep Kelsey. Mitch explained that they want to do that because it keeps a bigger target on Jared and Kelsey. Jared asked Mitch who he would vote out right now. Mitch said probably Kelsey. Jared admitted that it would probably be better for his game if she left, but it’s the whole thing about who you want to live together with as well. Jared said that they would be able to talk to Joel and discuss their options rationally if Loveita was not always up in the HoH room. Jared and Mitch agreed that they would not nominate Joel if they were to win HoH. Jared went to the have-not room with Kelsey and told her that he does not know what to do. Kelsey said she wants people to respect the decision that she and Raul make. Jared let her know that it will not be up to them and that people will choose based on what benefits their game. Jared said that logically it is best for his game if Kelsey leaves but he likes having her there for his own sanity. Mitch then spoke to Raul and told him that he is trying to think if there is anyone that Joel would be willing to nominate as a replacement nominee. Raul said that he needs him to backdoor Jared at this point. Mitch said that Joel did not want to do that originally but it doesn’t mean that he wouldn’t consider it now. Mitch figured that Dallas would want reassurance that Raul would work with him if he were to use the PoV. Raul said that he could tell him that and then nominate him if he wins HoH. Raul pointed out that he can even just get Dallas on board with voting Kelsey out if he offers to work with him afterwards. Mitch said he currently sees the votes for Kelsey as Cassandra, Tim and the brothers. Mitch figured Loveita would want to get Kelsey out but she never gets what she wants. Mitch said that Jared seems to know that his game is better off without Kelsey, which is why he is not pushing him to vote to keep Kelsey. Mitch told Raul that Joel seems to want Kelsey to go, so maybe they could convince him that it is best to take Raul down and nominate a pawn beside her.
5:00-6:00 PM: Nikki and Tim chatted in the bathroom. Nikki said that it has been sort of nice that she has had a break from Phil. She told Tim that Phil would follow her around constantly and stare at her, which made her feel uncomfortable. She explained that she just wants to be friends but it seems as though there is no in between with Phil. Tim discussed how things have been different for him in this house compared to the Big Brother Australia house, because he didn’t even want to lounge around in that house. In this house, Tim said that you cannot go around and be really active or else you will put a target on your back. Tim also said that he been starting to fit in, which is something that he doesn’t want to have happen. Nikki suggested that it could be as a result of being in the same room and eating with Jared’s side. Tim told Nikki that he would like to go tell everyone else that he is not with Jared’s side. Nikki told Tim to please win HoH next week. He said that it would be great and wondered if people would nominate him if he said that nobody is allowed in the HoH room. He did not want to have any game talks in there. Tim wanted to organize a board room style discussion out in the open where everyone could speak in front of everyone else.
6:00-7:00 PM: Tim let Joel and Loveita know about his plan for if he wins HoH. He explained how he wants all of the game talk with him to take place out in the open so that nobody can try to tell him lies about someone else and think that he will fall for it. Tim said that it will start World War 3. Joel said that it would be unprecedented in Big Brother history. A few minutes later, Tim decided that he could have everyone give him the names of two people that they want him to nominate. He would keep a tally board and choose the people with the most nomination points, like they do on Big Brother Australia.
9:00-10:00 PM: Kelsey told Raul that they could likely talk their friends into voting the way they want, which would allow them to decide who stays and who goes. Raul said that they could leave it up to fate. Raul mentioned that Tim had an idea that the nominees could go speak to each houseguest together in order to ask how they are voting, that way there is no campaigning and they can know where the votes stand. Jared and Mitch joined them. Mitch said that he isn’t sure that they can perfectly calculate which move would be best for the group. Jared said that he would almost like to vote one way and have Mitch vote the other way so that they have nothing to do with the decision. Kelsey told them not to do that.
10:00-11:00 PM: Mitch told Phil that he likes Joel and trusts him but he feels as though Loveita took control of Joel this week. They talked about how Loveita was always up in the HoH room with Joel. Mitch and Phil discussed that they enjoy Ramsey. Phil let Mitch know that they are staying close to Maddy because Ramsey is her best friend and will come to them once Maddy goes. They then discussed that Nikki is good for their game and would not vote either of them out. Before wrapping things up, Phil told Mitch that Joel will be tighter than ever with them once Loveita is out of the picture.
11:00-12:00 AM: Up in the HoH room, Mitch told Joel and Loveita that he has an idea. He pointed out that Tim is becoming closer with Jared, Kelsey and Raul. Mitch worried that he has been knocked down a few notches in that group. He said that Cassandra and Nikki will also go along with Tim, so that gives them six people. Mitch suggested nominating Tim as a pawn in order to cause Cassandra and Tim to have to campaign against Jared, Kelsey and Raul. Mitch said that it could damage the relationships and make them become less threatening as a group. Loveita said that Mitch is on to something. Joel and Mitch agreed that they would not want Tim to leave. Mitch said that Tim would stay no matter what. Joel said that Tim brought the idea up on his own the other day, so he could talk to him about it if they decide to go that route. Loveita said that she is on board for whatever Joel decides to do. Mitch brought up that he made a concession and agreed to lose someone that he was close to this week of the betterment of the group, so this would be a way to salvage something for himself. He said that he would like to see Raul stay and he is worried that Raul may get voted out if the nominations stay the same. Mitch said that it’s probably not worth it if they are worried that Tim would go. He left the decision up to Joel. The talk was soon broken up by the other houseguests.
12:00-1:00 AM: Dallas and Phil joined Joel and Mitch in the HoH room. Dallas mentioned that Jared could become a reckless player without Kelsey. He said that he could easily be persuaded to vote either way this week, but if he had to choose right now he is about 80% sure that he would vote to evict Raul. Dallas said that Raul is the tougher competitor and they would keep a showmance in the house that would continue to be targeted. Phil said that it is only Day 24 and there will be plenty of time to get the showmance out. Dallas said unless they keep alternating HoH wins. Phil told him that Kelsey is not a Jillian and Jared is not an Emmett up to this point. Dallas, Joel and Phil all agreed that Jared would become a better player if Kelsey is gone.
