BBCAN4 Day 29 - Dallas and Ramsey are nominated for eviction
March 25, 2016
8:00-9:00 AM: Tim told Nikki that he knows exactly how he is going to decide the nominations. Nikki asked if people will know who she voted for. Tim said no and that is the beauty of it. He revealed that he plans to do it exactly the same as it was done in his season of Big Brother but he will play the role of Big Brother. Nikki said it is a really good idea. Tim felt that winning HoH is a nomination super power, because you don’t get to directly decide who goes home unless there is a tie. Tim told Nikki that he never once had the nomination super power in Australia, yet he won the game, so he does not want it in this house either. Tim then said he plans to do the PoV differently as well. He told Nikki that he will give the veto holder the opportunity to choose the replacement nominee, as they did during his season. He again said that he will not decide anything this week. Tim pointed out that no one has told him that he is in alliance with him, which means that he does not owe anyone anything and he will not be breaking his word to any of them. Tim brought up that the two of them are still sometimes treated as outsiders. Nikki feared that this would be her last week because she may get a lot of votes. Tim told Nikki that people would keep her over anyone else and he would help her campaign if it came down to it. Tim debated whether or not he should have the houseguests give a reason behind their nominations. He told Nikki that in Australia they have to explain how that person affects their time in the house. Nikki said she thinks that she will nominate Maddy and Dallas. Tim encouraged her to do what she wants.
11:00-12:00 PM: Tim came out of the diary room and informed the houseguests that he is calling a house meeting in 20 minutes so that he can make an announcement about how nominations will work this week. Tim proceeded to get ready for the meeting, dressing in a suit and tie. He then organized the HoH room to be his office in which told hold nominations. At the meeting, Tim told the houseguests that he will nominate the two people that they as a group collectively decide on. Tim said he will be acting as Big Brother and will do nothing but count the votes. He informed the houseguests that they will have 5 points with which to nominate. The 5 points had to be divided up between two people. The two houseguests with the most nomination points will be the nominees. Tim let the others know about the nomination super power in Australia. He explained that he won the game without having it even once, so he wants to show that the HoH role doesn’t get to determine who wins the game. He suggested that it is actually a curse. Maddy questioned how they will know that Tim is adding up the points fairly. He said that it will be a trust thing. Tim promised that he will never reveal who nominated who. If he breaks his word, Tim said that the others can use that against him. He gave the houseguests the option to not participate, though that would result in their 5 nomination points being place on themselves. Tim required that a reason be given for each nomination. Maddy asked if Tim would change the nominations if someone that he is close to, such as Cassandra, ended up with the most points. Tim said he absolutely would not do that. He let the houseguests know that the Power of Veto will be a doozy and there is extra incentive to win. As he told Nikki earlier in the day, he plans to give the veto winner the ability to choose the replacement nominee.
12:00-1:00 PM: The nomination meetings began in Tim’s HoH room. The meetings were held in alphabetical order. Dallas went around the house and told people to nominate him for 4 points.
Cassandra nominated Ramsey for 4 points because he spreads what she is saying to everyone else. Cassandra nominated Dallas for 1 point because he is grumpy and negative.
Dallas decided not to participate, meaning that 5 points went against him.
Jared nominated Dallas for 4 points because he is segregating himself and becoming the black cloud that Loveita was. Jared nominated Ramsey for 1 point because he stresses people out by gossiping.
Joel nominated Dallas for 3 points because he is a strong competitor who went back on something after swearing that he had done it. Joel nominated Ramsey for 2 points because he is telling everyone that he wants to work with them.
Maddy nominated Dallas for 3 points because she would not feel obligated to be around him if he was no longer in the house. Maddy nominated Jared for 2 points because she feels that he is causing there to be two sides in the house.
Mitch nominated Dallas for 3 points because the things that he says do not sit well with him. Mitch nominated Ramsey for 2 points because he is always singing, napping and breaking the rules.
Nick and Phil nominated Maddy for 3 points because she is loud, annoying, obnoxious, rude and not fun to live with. Nick and Phil nominated Dallas for 2 points because of the negative energy that he brings to the house.
Nikki told Tim that she was going to nominate herself for all 5 points to keep her conscience clear, until Dallas said that he wants to be nominated. Nikki nominated Maddy for 4 points because she is trying her hardest to get all of the girls out and she is manipulating the guys. Nikki nominated Dallas for 1 point because he was asking everyone to nominate him.
Ramsey nominated Dallas for 3 points because he is someone that is persuading him to go against his gut in the house. Ramsey nominated Jared for 2 points because he is preventing him from building a strong relationship with Cassandra and Raul.
Raul nominated Dallas for 4 points because he knows that Dallas is after him and he therefore cannot sleep well. Raul nominated Joel for 1 point because he makes him feel uncomfortable due to the move that he made last week.
The final nominations tally board was as follows: Dallas 29, Ramsey 9, Maddy 7, Jared 4, Joel 1.
Tim informed the houseguests that they will find out who has been nominated at the nomination ceremony.
1:00-2:00 PM: Joel told Ramsey he doesn’t think that he is going anywhere cause Dallas is still going to be up there. Ramsey said that he is not concerned about that. He pointed out that Joel’s first instinct was to lie to him and tell him that he did not nominate him. Ramsey said he will continue to trust Joel and continue to get hurt by him. Joel said he did not understand what Ramsey was asking him earlier. Ramsey told Joel that it’s okay and he hopes that the trust will one day come full circle. Joel explained that he heard from some people that they were going to go against Ramsey, so he then decided to try to protect himself. Joel told Ramsey that he will keep him over Dallas. Ramsey asked what will happen if he is up against someone else. Joel said that he will keep Ramsey. Ramsey then spoke to Mitch about his nominations. Ramsey broke down crying in the middle of the talk. He did not understand why people like Joel and Mitch would nominate him. Mitch explained that there are perceived sides in the house and he was not in a position to go against them. Mitch assured Ramsey that he will not vote against him if he is up against Dallas or most other people.
2:00-3:00 PM: Mitch and Phil spoke out by the hot tub. Mitch expressed his feelings that these nominations look bad on Tim because people are not happy with with it. Phil agreed. Mitch said that Tim is forcing everyone else to show their cards but is not showing any of his. Mitch admitted that it is a smart move but felt that it would expose Tim as a good player. The two discussed their nominations. Dallas joined them. Phil asked Dallas why he put 5 points on himself and didn’t try to stay off of the block. Dallas said he is there to play Big Brother Canada, not Big Brother Australia. Dallas mentioned that Tim is playing a social game that will get him far in the game and he wanted people to avoid nominating the way that Tim wanted in order to force him to make a move. Dallas told Mitch and Phil that he is there to take out the big dogs. He also said that there are people flying under the radar, such as Tim. Dallas wanted people to stop looking at Tim as a shiny new toy.
3:00-4:00 PM: Tim came out of the diary room and informed the houseguests that Big Brother has a task for them. The houseguests played a game of “Big Brother Says”, having to follow a series of commands given by Big Brother. First up, one male and one female houseguest had to swap clothes. Maddy and Mitch did. Next up, Phil ate a ghost pepper. After that, Phil licked Nick’s armpit. The houseguests then sat in a circle and had to give a compliment to the person next to them. Once that was done, they had to bring up a complaint about the person next to them. Cassandra then took a body shot off of Dallas’ belly. Finally, Raul gave Joel a lap dance. The houseguests were then informed that they had won the pizza party.
4:00-5:00 PM: Cassandra told Nikki she wishes that she could switch her nominations. Nikki told her to ask Tim. She pointed out that Tim gave Dallas the opportunity to change his mind about not nominating anyone. Cassandra revealed that she wants Maddy or Ramsey, not Dallas, to go this week. She wanted to give 3 points to Maddy and 2 points to Ramsey. Cassandra hoped that they would be able to get Maddy and Ramsey on the block if she changes her nominations. Nikki mentioned that she could change her nomination of Dallas as well if Tim will let them.
5:00-6:00 PM: Cassandra asked Tim if she can change her nominations. She explained that she had to go first and did not get a chance to really think things over. Tim said no. He pointed out that people did not think and were stupid. He let her know that he cannot allow her to change her nominations since everyone has now pretty much worked out who will be on the block. Tim told her that you never nominate who everybody else is nominating, opting instead to nominate the second and third options. Cassandra figured that it will be Dallas and Ramsey on the block. She said that she needs it to be Maddy and Ramsey. Tim said it’s too late now and he is not discussing it. Tim brought up how someone had told him that nobody is offering him a Final 2 deal since they assume that he is with Cassandra. Cassandra then said she would be willing to make one with him if she thought that Tim wanted one at this point in the game. Tim asked how he would know that she hasn’t made that same offer to others. Cassandra said he would just have to trust her. They also discussed Joel and how he had gone to the other side over the past week. Cassandra feels that he is definitely with Dallas and also likely with Maddy and Ramsey. She said that she cannot trust him anymore.
6:00-7:00 PM: Cassandra, Jared and Tim chatted in the HoH room. Jared said that there literally was a black cloud lifted from the house when Loveita left. Tim said he hated talking in front of her cause he felt as though she was taking notes and would try to fight you on everything that you said. Tim said Maddy’s value you went up a lot with Loveita gone. Jared said her best game plan would be to shut her mouth and let people take some guys out. Tim told Cassandra that she is really well positioned. She said she feels okay right now but cannot get cocky. Jared pointed out that they have had an unwritten agreement up to this point but he knows that Tim has said numerous times that nobody has approached him to be in an alliance. Tim said he would love to be able to save people and use the PoV like it was last night. However, Tim said the alliance would need to be full of people worth saving. Jared asked who Tim thinks he can trust. Tim said Nikki, since he cannot see her working with Dallas, Maddy or Ramsey. Other than that, Tim said Raul and the brothers are the only other two that he trusts. Tim said he just does not trust Ramsey. Jared agreed and said his perfect scenario would be Dallas leaving this week followed by Ramsey and Maddy. Jared thought he would then have to turn on the brothers, cause Mitch has their best interests in mind too. Tim said Mitch would be in the mix as well.
8:00-9:00 PM: Cassandra spoke to Tim and said she is pretty sure that Ramsey and Maddy both nominated her. Tim said we’ll see. He let her know that a stupid amount of people nominated Dallas. Cassandra asked if she got a lot of votes. Tim told her that he will not break his own rules by telling her anything. She guessed that Dallas and Ramsey would be on the block. Tim questioned if she is sure about that. Tim eventually admitted that he was just messing with Cassandra. He said that he does not try to squeeze information out of her and asked if she thinks that she gets some kind of special treatment. She said no. Tim went to Nikki and said that Cassandra is doing his head in by being so paranoid about the votes and the game. Nikki said she really likes Cassandra now and is glad that she stayed. As for Maddy, Nikki said that she is horrible and a piece of work. Nikki said there are only three girls left and Maddy should at least be making an effort. Tim said that Dallas, Maddy or Ramsey will likely go this week. Nikki asked what about the PoV. Tim let her know that he is thinking of no longer messing around with it. Nikki felt that would be a good idea not to.
9:00-10:00 PM: Cassandra and Joel discussed that they would like to keep Dallas if he is nominated up against Ramsey. Cassandra asked Joel if he is working with Dallas. Joel told her that Dallas is beneficial to his game but they have not formed anything official. Cassandra said Joel can protect her with Dallas. She asked if she is on his radar. Joel said that she is not but she is on Ramsey’s radar. Before wrapping up the talk, Cassandra said that they need form something with the middle. She figured that it would protect them on all angles since they are good with Dallas and she will make sure that they are good with Jared. Cassandra told Joel not to worry if she isn’t talking to him as much. Joel said it is good that they are not talking as much.
11:00-12:00 AM: The nomination ceremony took place. Tim nominated Dallas and Ramsey for eviction. Dallas said that he will be fighting hard for the PoV. Cassandra told Nikki that she wants Dallas to win the PoV so that they can backdoor Maddy. Outside, Dallas told Ramsey that he will stay over him if the nominations remain the same. Dallas figured that the brothers, Nikki, Maddy and Jared would be on Ramsey’s side. Dallas told Ramsey that if he wins the PoV he will put someone on the block that would go before Ramsey. Ramsey hoped that they could expose Cassandra for lying about her nominations, because she claimed not to have nominated Ramsey. Dallas told Ramsey that if he is in the jury his top three that he would want to vote for to win the game would be Ramsey, Joel and Jared in that order.
12:00-1:00 AM: Raul told Mitch that he is worried about what will happen after Dallas leaves. Mitch said Dallas doesn’t have to leave, though Raul felt that they need him to leave. The two discussed sticking together until the end, being the first pair of gay people to make Final 2 together. Raul revealed that he wants to get Nikki and Tim out. Mitch said that he has been thinking about it as well. Raul felt that Tim is capable of making it to the end, which he does not want. Raul wanted to keep the money in Canada. Mitch said Tim is capable of winning the game but Nikki is not. He said Tim would deserve the win if he is able to make it to that point.
