BBCAN4 Day 38 - Jared wins the Power of Veto

April 3, 2016

7:00-8:00 PM: During tonight’s episode, it was revealed that the houseguests chose to bring Kelsey back into the game. Kelsey informed Jared that Mitch was in an alliance with Joel and Loveita and pushed for her to be evicted. Raul then came by and was told that Mitch cannot be trusted. Jared and Kelsey pleaded with Raul not to confront Mitch, though he did anyway. Jared and Kelsey were very disappointed in Raul for doing so. Jared questioned how he can trust Raul and why Raul would ruin the gift that they were handed. Raul then went on to win HoH. Raul nominated Joel and Mitch for eviction.

8:00-9:00 PM: Out by the hot tub, Phil told Kelsey he thinks that there will be a triple eviction coming up soon. Phil let Kelsey know that the brothers will have their back, referring to Jared, Kelsey and Raul. Kelsey said they have his back as well. Phil mentioned being on board with getting to the Final 4 with them. They discussed that Joel is smart but Mitch is the genius. Kelsey said Mitch was sitting really pretty with her out of the house. Kelsey explained that Loveita was talking game all the time in the secret suite, which led to them putting everything together and seeing that Mitch is in the middle of everything. Kelsey asked Phil who they would nominate next week. Phil said that he would likely nominate Nikki for sure. Next to her, Phil said that he may nominate Tim. He would then want the PoV to be used so that they can get Maddy on the block and take her out of the game. Phil figured that it would be best not to let Maddy know that she is their target unless they can definitely get her out. Kelsey said she loves Tim and does not want him to go home. Phil agreed, saying that they can use him for a couple of weeks. Kelsey headed up to the HoH room to talk to Jared and Raul. Jared mentioned that Joel asked him to speak earlier, wondering if he could get him to use the PoV. Jared said he let Joel know that he wants to respect Raul’s decision and therefore Joel needs to speak to Raul. Jared also said that he told Joel he will likely have his vote and Kelsey’s vote.

10:00-11:00 PM: Cassandra and Tim were joking about trying to convince others that they are related. Phil entered the bedroom and Tim told him that he and Cassandra are cousins. He asked Phil not to tell the others. Phil didn’t believe him. Tim said they are telling Phil because the brothers can help them. Tim then explained that their secret mission is that they cannot have anyone find out that they are related or else one of them will be instantly evicted. Phil questioned why he was allowed to tell him. Tim said it’s because the brothers wont have a vote in the event that they are up for eviction, since it will be a quadruple eviction and the house will have to choose between the brothers and Cassandra and himself. Phil said he is getting nervous now. He asked if they are the only ones that they are allowed to tell. Tim said yes. Tim then said that people don’t realize that he and Cassandra are playing as one. Phil pointed out that they have two votes. Phil eventually said that they are just telling him this because they do not want him to nominate them. Cassandra and Tim laughed at Phil for getting nervous and believing it for a second. Tim assured Phil that he is not out to get him, he never has been and he doesn’t think that he ever will be unless Phil strikes at him first. They discussed that Nikki has been down of late. Tim figured that she might walk next week. He said that they cannot have her do that until they are able to use her for a vote to do something big. Cassandra and Phil discussed that they will have to hang out with Nikki a bit more. As for next week’s target, it was discussed that Maddy would be a good option. Phil did not want to target Ramsey before her because he believe that Ramsey could be utilized. On top of that, Phil said he would prefer that Ramsey be there in the event of a triple eviction. Phil thought that Jared, Kelsey and Raul would go after Ramsey if he were still in the game at that point.

Mitch and Raul chatted in the HoH room. Raul told Mitch that he wants him to know that the TV exaggerates so much. Mitch laughed and asked if he is going to hate Raul even more after this. He pointed out that you choose what you say. Raul said he is the star of the show and he has to say what they tell him to say. Mitch told Raul that he wont like him after the show. Raul told Mitch that he will understand things once the show ends. Mitch said the only way that he will be Raul’s friend after this is over is if he wins the game, because then it would mean that turning on him was the right move. Raul told Mitch that he wont go home. Mitch wasn’t buying it and said he obviously believes that he will go home. Mitch told Raul that he is making the wrong move and it drives him insane that he doesn’t think logically. Mitch pointed out that he needs evidence to believe things, as opposed to Raul who believes things just because he heard them. Raul said that he didn’t want to talk game anymore. He said Mitch knows that he loves him but it’s really deep down in his heart. Mitch countered that by saying he loves everyone else in his life more than Raul, so that’s why he is saying that they probably will not be friends after the show.

11:00-12:00 AM: In the bathroom, Ramsey told Mitch that he is ready to get the veto ceremony over with. Ramsey said he believes that Tim will want Mitch to stay in the game. Mitch said he has worked out the actual probabilities of everyone winning the game and the group of three is ten times more likely to win than everyone else is. Mitch said he plans to let everyone know that. In the bedroom, Mitch then spoke to Nikki. He pointed out that Jared, Kelsey and Raul said last week that they would go after Cassandra and the brothers. He figured that they could get them on board with keeping him, though those two are too scared to say anything prior to the veto ceremony. Nikki said it’s funny how Jared is in charge. Mitch said these are Jared’s nominations and he will be calling that out tomorrow. Mitch said he thinks that he will need to work with Tim at this point. Nikki thought that Tim was scared of the trio, but Mitch told her that Tim is not scared of anything in this game. Mitch plans to explain to everyone that the threesome will win the game if nobody goes after them. He then wants to tell people that Joel will be too scared to go against them but he will make sure they leave if he stays. Mitch also plans to say that the threesome will go after him as long as he is there but they will not target Joel. Mitch said he is pretending to have accepted that he is going home even though he has some tricks up his sleeve. Mitch felt that he would have a good chance to stay over Joel, which led him to believe that it is best if the PoV is not used. Mitch called Tim the piece of the puzzle that can make everything work, since Tim is his way to get through to Cassandra and the brothers.
