BBCAN4 Day 41
April 6, 2016
9:00-10:00 AM: Mitch spoke to Nikki and went through the list of pairs that would save each other. He said people would presume that the two of them will save each other. Because of that, Mitch planned to tell the brothers that they would be two votes in their favour if they are on the block and they would not nominate them. Finally, Mitch said he could tell them that Nikki would have to agree to vote to save them over him if they keep him around this week. Nikki shook on it. Mitch said he still has to talk to Tim but it is hard to get him alone. Mitch then spoke to Phil and said he has a proposition that he wants to run by him that he does not have to say anything to. Mitch mentioned that one of the hardest parts for the brothers would be surviving a triple. Mitch said he spoke to Nikki about this and they are willing to swear three different things. The three things are that neither of them will nominate the brothers in a triple, neither of them will vote them out in a triple and if Mitch is up next to them Nikki will have to vote to save the brothers. Mitch pointed out that Joel may vote for the brothers to stay but this way they would have two votes on their side. Mitch said this deal is in addition to the promise that he made to everyone that he will go against Jared, Kelsey and Raul. Phil said this is a hard week. Mitch suggested that the brothers likely will not get Nikki’s vote in a triple if they were to vote him out this week. Mitch said he will not be making anyone else that offer.
11:00-12:00 PM: Cassandra asked Phil if Mitch has talked to him at all. Phil said yeah. Cassandra mentioned that he has yet to talk to her and she doesn’t think that he will. Phil said it wasn’t anything. In the bedroom, Mitch filled Nikki in on his talk with Phil. Mitch once again went over the three things that they have to agree to do. He wanted it to be clear in case Phil questioned Nikki about the deal. Mitch said that this is more than Joel can offer because he is only one vote. Mitch told Nikki that he wants to speak with Tim in private. Nikki felt as though Cassandra will be tough to convince. Mitch figured that Cassandra would do what Tim says so it is up to him to get Tim on board first. Mitch also had information that he wanted to tell Cassandra, such as that Jared, Kelsey and Raul discussed that they made an alliance with her so that she would stop bothering them about having an alliance. Nikki said Cassandra needs to know that. Mitch wanted to speak to Tim first before he tried to get Cassandra on board. He thought that the brothers would be toughest to get on his side. If they don’t vote for him, Mitch said it could be the two of them, Cassandra, Tim, Maddy and Ramsey against the brothers, Jared, Kelsey and Raul.
1:00-2:00 PM: Tim told Nikki that Mitch seems to have now realized that he is not an enemy to him and he is now spending more time with him. Nikki figured that Mitch avoided Tim because he is an introvert and Tim is the complete opposite to that. Nikki added that Mitch probably thought Tim wouldn’t have time for someone like him. Tim said he may have thought that but he had so much time for Mitch. Tim explained that he too is an introvert at times. Tim said Mitch has already picked his people that he wants to work with. Nikki disagreed and told Tim that Mitch said he would quite happily go to the end with him. Tim questioned why Mitch wouldn’t have said that at the beginning. Tim said Mitch based his game on things like probabilities and he is not in this position because of that. Tim said you cannot account for someone returning and having the information needed to go against you. Tim explained to Nikki that Mitch is in this position because of fate and that is Big Brother. Tim said he is playing Big Brother and would be going against Big Brother by keeping him.
Out by the pool, Maddy asked Joel why they should keep him. Joel said he is someone that has kept his word, is not as big of a strategic threat and is not someone who has pitted people against each other like Mitch has. Maddy said they know Mitch’s target but they do not know Joel’s. Joel questioned if you can know for sure that it is Mitch’s target when he is only saying it once his back is against the wall. Maddy said Mitch is on the block because of information that may or not be true, considering Loveita is not even in the house. Joel said he was in the room with Loveita at the time and can confirm that it is true. Joel pointed out that everything Mitch has said is just words as opposed to him who won HoH and did not put Maddy on the block. Maddy said she was going to go on the block and Loveita told her that. Joel said that is not true at all. Maddy said she knows that Mitch would not put her up but she doesn’t know about Joel so the best bet is to go with the person that you know is not against you. Joel told Maddy that he will not hold any grudges if she votes him out of the house. Joel said he is focused on staying safe this week and making sure that he remains in the game.
In the bedroom, Mitch spoke to Tim and told him that they are likely similar players. Mitch said he is worried that Tim wont vote for him because he thinks that they cannot get the votes even though they can. Mitch said he believes that Tim wants to keep him deep down. Mitch told Tim that he is ready to make things exciting and play in a different way. Mitch guaranteed that he would not team up with the trio again. Tim said that is not the criteria with which he will base his vote on. He told Mitch that he is smart and he wants him to figure it out. Tim said by telling Mitch the criteria it would mean that Mitch has not figured it out for himself. Mitch mentioned that the game will be less predictable for everyone if he stays, because Joel is more likely to slide by. Tim said he tries to make his decision based on himself and the nominees alone, meaning that it is not about whether or not Mitch can get the votes. Tim told Mitch that he could get his vote even if he is not in the majority.
2:00-3:00 PM: Tim told Mitch that he has to live with his decision and that is the key to getting his vote. Mitch said he had his own comfort zone of people early on and did not know if their paths would cross or if it was worth exploring. Mitch explained that it was more of an unknown as opposed to it being a case of him wanting Tim out. Mitch called Tim the key to him staying. Tim said that he does not want to convince Cassandra because it is not something that he wants to do in this game. Seeing as you cannot do that in Big Brother Australia, Tim said it scares him to go ahead and do it here. Tim likened it to putting a baseball bat in his hands. He said Mitch is that baseball bat. Mitch told Tim he believes that Tim could do it to everyone there except for him. Tim agreed and said he had his eye on Mitch just like Mitch had his eye on him, because Mitch was protective and smart. Tim said he cannot go against the beast of Big Brother that has dealt Mitch his fate. Tim said Mitch tried to do things logically but there are variables that you cannot control. Tim told Mitch that they could have had so many fun conversations up until now. He said it upsets him that Mitch was playing with the cool kids the whole time. Mitch admitted that it upset him as well. Tim believed him and said that he could see it in Mitch’s veto speech. Mitch told Tim that they can beat Big Brother. Tim said that means making sure that the prom king or queen doesn’t win. Tim told Mitch that he would be happy with him winning the game. Tim asked why Mitch did not invest any time in him until this week. Tim felt that Mitch did not need him the game but could have invested time on a personal level. Mitch said one of his flaws in the game has been neglecting certain people. He attributed it to fear when it comes to Tim. Mitch said he knew what Tim is capable of and thought that it would end up in it being geared towards him. Tim told Mitch that it would not have went that way unless Mitch did what he did by not talking to him. Mitch said he may have been worried that he could be manipulated by Tim, which could end up being his undoing. Tim told Mitch that he needs time to consider the options and he needs to keep from being distracted.
4:00-5:00 PM: Tim told Joel that he will only make his decision based on himself, as opposed to Cassandra and the brothers who will decide based on whether or not the numbers are there. Tim said Mitch knows he is key in those two making their decision. Joel said they have already promised him their votes. Tim told Joel that he is staying because he sees him as someone who is loyal and also a potential winner of the game. Tim could not say the same for Mitch. Tim mentioned that he has no reason to keep Mitch unless he wants to shake things up and create an amazing TV moment. Tim assured Joel that he is not there for that even though he was last time. Tim said he wants to be instrumental in taking down Jared, Kelsey and Raul with people that he is with. He did not buy the argument that it cannot be done without Mitch. Joel clarified that he needs the votes of the three in order to stay this week. He said he has proven it with his actions that he is willing to make the move against those three. Tim admitted that his next move was to get Mitch out even before the week started and Mitch was on the block. Tim feels as though Cassandra and Phil want to be a part of the three. Tim said he doesn’t but he has a different way of breaking them up. Tim told Joel that his decision has been made but he is trying to work out the next few steps. Tim said Cassandra and the brothers are unlikely to vote for Mitch on their own accord, which he is forcing to happen because he will not influence their decision.
Mitch guaranteed Cassandra that she will have his jury vote if she votes to keep him this week. If she votes him out, Mitch guaranteed that she would never get his jury vote. Mitch then asked Cassandra to come speak to Maddy with him. Mitch informed Cassandra that Jared and Kelsey offered Maddy and Ramsey a Final 4 with the goal of targeting the brothers and Cassandra. Maddy and Mitch said this further proves that Jared and Kelsey are playing all sides. Cassandra and Maddy both said that they will not nominate each other if they win HoH next week. Cassandra pointed out that she has always had a relationship with Joel and she would be betraying that if she votes him out. Mitch admitted that she would lose that one vote but said one vote wont do her much if everyone is after her. Maddy said she is willing to shake on it that she will not go after Cassandra until all three or at least two of the three in the trio are gone. Cassandra said she can let Maddy know that she will not go after her regardless of which way she votes this week. Mitch said they can go against the trio with or without him but the bigger question is who is left for those three to go after if he is gone. Mitch said those three have no choice but to go against him if he stays and they will nominate Nikki next to him because she has stuck by his side the whole way. Maddy asked Cassandra how many times the trio has said they are going after the brothers. Cassandra said a few. Maddy said Jared told her that he squashed things with the brothers, leaving them with few people to target. Cassandra said she really has to think about it and she is considering all options at this point.
5:00-6:00 PM: While Nikki was in the room, Tim told Joel that he has his vote this week. Nikki later left and let Mitch know that Tim told Joel he will be getting his vote tomorrow. Mitch said that sucks. Nikki told Mitch that it is still worth trying with Tim. Mitch thought so too, seeing as Tim changed his mind last week. Meanwhile, Tim told Cassandra and Joel that voting with the three does not mean that he is with them. Tim explained that it means he wants to be the one to destroy the three. Tim said his loyalty is to Joel and he might have made a different decision about keeping Mitch if it was someone else nominated next to him. Cassandra said she will not be going against Joel either. She told both Joel and Tim that they need to win HoH this week so that they can get Ramsey out. After Tim left, Joel said that he now feels reassured since Tim told him 100% that he has his vote. Cassandra told Joel that she will not go against him and never would, because she wants to go to the Final 2 with him. Cassandra let Joel know about her conversation with Maddy and Mitch in which Maddy said that Jared and Kelsey made a Final 4 deal with her and Ramsey.
6:00-7:00 PM: Mitch checked in with Phil. As he did earlier, he brought up the deal that he is willing to make with the brothers. Mitch said their biggest hurdle as strong guys will be surviving the triple eviction. Mitch let Phil in on another piece of information, telling him that Jared and Kelsey made a Final 4 deal with Maddy and Ramsey. Mitch said they had discussed nominating Cassandra and the brothers. He told Phil that Maddy could be brought in to confirm it. Kelsey joined them. Phil said they should ask her. He then proceeded to do so. Kelsey said she already told the brothers about the deal. She assured Phil that he knows what their plans are moving forward. Mitch asked if Kelsey had said that they will work as a foursome. Kelsey denied it. Mitch said Maddy and Ramsey will disagree with that if he brings them in there. Kelsey said it was Maddy and Ramsey who approached Jared about wanting to continue working with them. She said that never in a million years would she tell Maddy and Ramsey that she wants to go to the Final 4 with them. Mitch questioned who Kelsey’s next targets are if she is not going after the brothers and Cassandra. Kelsey said that Maddy and Ramsey are her targets. Mitch told Kelsey that she is stumbling over her words and he is going to go get Maddy. Mitch did so and told both Maddy and Ramsey that Kelsey said they are the targets next week.
Maddy said that Kelsey did indeed say that she wants to solidify the four of them. Phil said they knew all week about the deal that was made to keep Maddy and Ramsey safe. Mitch asked how people can be sure which deal that the threesome has made is real. Phil said that is Big Brother. Mitch asked Kelsey how Cassandra and the brothers could not be her target if she wants to work with Maddy and Ramsey. Kelsey said that her target coming back into the house was Mitch. Kelsey said she has never looked Maddy in the eyes and said that she will nominate Cassandra and the brothers. Mitch said Cassandra has also been told by the trio that the brothers are their target. Cassandra denied saying that. Phil headed to the HoH room and told Jared and Raul that he trusts their word 100%. He explained that Mitch is telling people that there is a Final 4 deal between Jared, Kelsey, Maddy and Ramsey. Kelsey entered the room and said that Maddy and Ramsey are taking the deal that they made and blowing it way out of proportion. Phil added that Mitch is using it to his advantage. Mitch told Tim that what just happened solidified that Cassandra and the brothers will not sway from the threesome, because they both defended the threesome. Mitch questioned if Tim is afraid to try to manipulate people this week because he is afraid of failing. He then asked why Tim won’t play the game. Tim said he doesn’t like this version of the game.
7:00-8:00 PM: Maddy and Tim spoke in the high roller room. Maddy admitted to being annoyed with Ramsey because he did not speak up during the earlier confrontation with Kelsey. Maddy said Ramsey is the one that is speaking with Jared and Kelsey yet she has to be the voice for the two of them. Maddy felt that it was not best for Mitch’s game to have had that confrontation to begin with. Tim figured that Mitch didn’t expect it to have gone down in the manner that it did. They discussed how they can beat the trio. Tim said that he doesn’t see keeping Mitch as the only way that they can stop them. Maddy agreed. Tim said he would not hate Maddy if she nominated Cassandra and Kelsey. He said that Kelsey would go if that happened. Maddy told Tim that she will not be putting Cassandra on the block. She admitted that Cassandra is a target of hers but said that it’s not a move that has to be made right now. Tim said Cassandra can be a pain and is a liar but she cannot do anything on her own. Maddy agreed.
9:00-10:00 PM: Cassandra and Mitch talked through different scenarios. Cassandra said she hates how people aren’t playing strategically. Mitch said he has no one in the game but is wanting to play and play strategically. He said that he is willing to make a deal. Mitch told her that the only two deals that he has shook on are to go to Final 2 with Raul and to target Cassandra and the brothers, both of which are clearly done with after what has happened this week. Mitch explained that he could be of benefit to Cassandra due to his influence over both Maddy and Nikki. Cassandra said that she is willing to work with Maddy and she would not even target her next week. Cassandra revealed that her target is Ramsey. Mitch continued to work on getting Cassandra’s vote. He said he believes that Tim is considering keeping him. Cassandra disagreed and said she does not think that Tim will flip. Mitch thinks Tim sees him as the better player and therefore would consider keeping him out of respect for that. Mitch brought up that him being in the house puts another target ahed of Cassandra on the chopping block. He continued to sell that it would be Nikki sitting next to him.
10:00-11:00 PM: Cassandra reassured Maddy that she is not going to be coming after her. Cassandra said Maddy is the smartest person to take to the end. Maddy said she isn’t even going to worry about who goes to the Final 2 as long as it is not Jared, Kelsey and Raul. Cassandra didn’t want to commit to anything for this week but she said that a big move needs to be made next week. Maddy said a big move would be keeping Mitch. Cassandra told her that she would be playing the dirtiest game if she got rid of Joel this week. Maddy pointed out that there would be six people on their side and fighting for HoH if they keep Mitch. Maddy said Joel is too much of an unknown. Maddy apologized for being annoying but said she has never begged or said please for something more in her life. Cassandra said she keeps going back and forth between keeping Joel who has her back and Mitch who is the bigger target like Dallas would have been had he stayed. Maddy said that she will not hold it against Cassandra if she ends up voting to keep Joel. They discussed having each other’s backs moving forward either way. Cassandra said her gut is telling her not to keep Mitch. Maddy asked if she would reconsider if Tim is on board. Cassandra felt that there was no way that Tim would flip. The girls discussed using Nikki or Tim as a pawn to get someone from the trio out in the event of a double or triple eviction.
11:00-12:00 AM: Up in the HoH room, Mitch told Raul that he has a secret and will tell him if he swears that he wont tell anyone. Raul agreed. Mitch said he is not a video editor but he does edit videos. Mitch admitted to being a YouTuber. He said that he has a science channel with his boyfriend and they have 5 million subscribers. On top of that, Mitch said that they have a New York Times best seller. Mitch again asked Raul not to tell anyone. Raul said he would never take that moment away from Mitch. Mitch told Raul that he had his back and still does. Mitch asked why Raul wants him out. Raul said that Mitch lied to him. Mitch said he saw it as information that was taken out of context. Mitch explained that he did not want their relationship to be ruined because Raul found out that he had any part in Kelsey going home. He admitted that it benefitted his game and he had a good thing going with Jared and Raul until Kelsey came back. Raul said he hopes that Mitch will see on the outside how much he loves him and wants to see him again. Mitch said he will see him in jury next week. Mitch let Raul know that he would not come after them if Raul breaks a tie in his favour. Raul figured that Mitch would go after Jared and Kelsey. Mitch told him that he wouldn’t if Raul could help mend that bridge. Raul told Mitch that he feels weird about things now because he doesn’t want to use Mitch in order to help himself in the outside world in terms of making a YouTube channel. Mitch explained that the types of connections he has would be in different areas than those that Raul would want to work in anyway so there is no need to worry about that. Mitch said he would understand that Raul kept him for his friendship and not for anything else.
12:00-1:00 AM: Mitch told Jared and Kelsey that what he did was his only move that he could make against them so that people would see he is angry and it is really a thing. Now that it’s over, Mitch said that he wants to apologize. Mitch said it probably hurt but he had to make it extreme so that it was real. Jared said he wishes that they could have had fun the whole time. Mitch told Jared and Kelsey that he was with them if they did not nominate him or had used the PoV on him. Jared said he understands. Mitch told Jared and Kelsey that he sees it as a game and he will not take anything personally. He said that he had to give it his last shot. Jared said it was a good angle. Kelsey told Mitch that it did not feel good to see him upset or to make Raul upset. She said that it did not make her feel good to blow up his game or anything like that. Jared added that it wasn’t supposed to happen this way in a perfect world. Mitch said he fully understands what Kelsey did and why she did it, as they both just got caught in a twist.
