BBCAN4 Day 43 - Maddy nominates Jared and Kelsey
April 8, 2016
10:00-11:00 AM: Tim and Maddy spoke in the HoH room. Tim said whoever breaks up Jared, Kelsey and Raul will be argue on finale night that they were not afraid to make that move. Maddy said that she is considering a couple of options. She mentioned that she could nominate Kelsey and Nikki. However, she said that Jared could win the PoV and save Kelsey. Maddy said she would like to nominate Nikki and the brothers. She mentioned that it is Phil’s week to play in the veto competition and he is not that good of a competitor. Tim said he loves the brothers but they haven’t had a chance to see them at the top or the bottom yet. Maddy told Tim that both she and Ramsey have a good relationship with Jared. Tim told Maddy to think about her speech from when he had put her on the block. He said that it changed people’s perceptions of her and made them view her as a contender. Maddy said she came there to make big moves and wants to show it. Tim suggested that the three would have to reinvent themselves if they are broken up, which could mean working with either he or Maddy. Tim told Maddy that if she can take down the three she would be the person with the best case to win the show. He listed off getting rid of Loveita, getting rid of Dallas and breaking up the three as moves that Maddy will be able to take credit for. Maddy figured that people would be happy with her fro breaking up the three. She said that getting rid of Kelsey would mean that Cassandra loses a girl that she is close with. On top of that, Maddy said that it would go back to the way it was the week that Jared and Raul hated Cassandra.
Tim said that Nikki could always be used as a pawn in the event that the PoV is used. Maddy asked if Nikki would be mad. Tim said no because she would understand that she is not going home. Also, he said that Nikki is ready to leave and knows that she would get to go be with Mitch in jury even if something did change and she left. As for why two of the three should be nominated, Tim said that it will take away their ability to lie by making fake Final 4 deals by getting people on board as the fourth member of their group. Maddy’s concern with going against the three was that she is in hot water with the brothers. She wondered if they would keep her safe if she kept them safe this week. Tim let Maddy know that he will not retaliate against her no matter what move she decides to make. He said that he gets a thrill out of seeing people go against what they should do and do what is right for them instead. He said that Mitch began doing that last week by going against the three even though he could have stuck with them and got them on board with keeping him. Maddy discussed that she didn’t know what she was doing early on. Tim said that learning along the way and being honest about that is a case that she can make as to why she should win the game. Tim brought up that he wants to train or coach someone to get to the end if he cannot win the game himself. He told Maddy that Big Brother asked him if Maddy is that person. While Tim admitted that he does not know if Maddy is that person, he did tell her that she has surprised him.
11:00-12:00 PM: Nikki told Maddy that she was surprised to hear that she may go up after the two of them have been building their relationship. Maddy asked who told her that. Nikki said it was Jared. Maddy told Nikki that she will see what happens and will then understand the move. Maddy explained that she would possibly need to use Nikki as a pawn in the event that Jared or Kelsey win the PoV. Maddy said she would need to have whoever remains on the block out of Jared and Kelsey leave if the other one comes off of the block. Maddy told Nikki that nominating Tim might result in Tim leaving, which is something that she cannot have happen. Nikki went to Phil and Tim and told them that she is fine with going but she needs to know what is happening so that she can prepare herself. Nikki said it makes more sense to nominate Jared and Kelsey together so that Jared has to use the PoV on himself and he does not have the option to save both he and Kelsey. Phil agreed and said that if you are going to take a shot at the three you should be doing it that way.
Maddy told Ramsey that Jared is an idiot for telling Nikki that she is going on the block. Ramsey said that he is spreading lies. Ramsey asked Maddy if her talk with Tim was good. Maddy said her talks with Tim are always good. Maddy explained that Tim is like a coach to her. Ramsey wondered if it would be too aggressive for them to tell Tim that they want to work with him. Maddy said no. Ramsey thought that they would have to clarify that it’s Tim that they want to work with, not those that are close to him as well. Cassandra asked Tim how her chat with Maddy went. Tim said it went well but he does not want to talk about it. He did tell Cassandra that she is not going up. Cassandra wondered if she should talk to Maddy. Tim said that he wouldn’t bother. Her concern was that Maddy would take offense to that. Tim told her that he foresees Cassandra being an option as a replacement nominee if Kelsey is saved, so he would not want Cassandra to say something that makes that actually happen. Cassandra asked if Maddy is targeting one of the three. Tim said absolutely. Cassandra then asked would Maddy not just nominate another member of the three if Kelsey is saved. Tim said that Maddy might but that is not how she is looking at it right now.
9:00-10:00 PM: The feeds were down more than six hours. When they returned, we found out that the have-not competition had taken place. The have-nots for the week are Kelsey, Nikki and Raul. The feeds did not stay on for long, as the nomination ceremony took place shortly after.
11:00-12:00 AM: The nomination ceremony took place. Maddy nominated Jared and Kelsey for eviction. Kelsey said Maddy is so stupid and the dumbest person in the game. Jared said they are too late into the game for people to pass up taking him out. Kelsey told Jared that she would use the PoV on him. She mentioned that Tim may as well. Jared thought so too. Kelsey assured Jared that she will do whatever she can to make sure that he stays. Kelsey hoped that somebody would use the PoV on Jared because she thinks that she would leave over Raul. Kelsey told Raul that they will work together if she stays but he will be stronger with Jared. Kelsey figured that Mitch would be so happy to see her walk into the jury house. Kelsey said she is so over the show, she hates the game, she hates the people and she does not want to be there anymore. Raul told Kelsey that Mitch will have something to tell her that will be so surprising. Kelsey wanted to know what it is. Raul said it’s not game. He said it is something personal but he promised that he would not take this away from Mitch by revealing it. Raul said he cannot wait to take the brothers out. Kelsey agreed that they need to go.
12:00-1:00 AM: Cassandra, Kelsey and Raul spoke in the storage room. Kelsey felt as though they are now in a terrible spot since they will have two of them nominated together. Cassandra asked if Maddy had made a deal with them not to put them up. Kelsey brought up the deal that was made last week in which they would not nominate Maddy and Ramsey in exchange for her not nominating them if she were to win HoH. Cassandra figured that the blow up that Mitch caused is the reason for this move. After Raul left, Kelsey told Cassandra that she wants someone to use the PoV on Jared because he will go if he stays on the block. Kelsey said she will use the PoV on Jared. Kelsey reiterated that she and Cassandra need to stick together if she ends up staying. Cassandra said she will never turn on Kelsey. Elsewhere, Ramsey spoke to Jared about Maddy’s nominations. Ramsey said he told Maddy to nominate Cassandra and Nikki but she freaked out on him when he did so. Ramsey continually reassured Jared that this move does not change anything between the two of them. Ramsey pointed out that Kelsey would have nominated he and Maddy had she won HoH. Jared asked Ramsey if he would be willing to use the PoV if he won. Ramsey said he would use it on Jared. Jared also asked if he can pick Ramsey to play in the competition if he pulls the houseguest’s choice chip. Ramsey said yes but later backtracked a bit. He said he wants to think it over but his decision will likely be yes. Ramsey asked Jared how he feels on the block against Kelsey. Jared said he is confident that he would stay but he did think that the brothers would try to get him out. Ramsey said that Jared would stay 1000%. Jared’s concern was that Maddy came to him and told him that he was safe. He said he does not like to have people lying to him. Jared explained that he otherwise gets the move and knows that it would have been dumb for Maddy to nominate anyone else next to Kelsey. Ramsey continued to work on Jared. He said that he will tell the whole house that he is working with Jared when the time is right. He also said that his trust with Jared is stronger than his trust with Maddy is. The two agreed that they would not nominate each other next week.
1:00-2:00 AM: Cassandra and Joel spoke in the storage room. Cassandra felt as though Raul would be the best option as a replacement nominee this week. Both Cassandra and Joel said that they would want to get Raul out if that were to happen. Joel said Kelsey and Jared would be livid and would go after Maddy and Ramsey if they stayed. Cassandra asked Joel if he thinks there is something going on between Maddy and Raul. Joel said he sees Raul and Ramsey a lot closer. It was discussed that nominations are likely to stay the same as long as Jared, Kelsey or Raul do not win the PoV. Joel asked if Cassandra thinks that Jared would go after Maddy if he stays and Kelsey goes. Cassandra thought that he would but pointed out that last time Kelsey left there was something started between Jared, Maddy and Ramsey.
