BBCAN4 Day 44 - Jared wins the Power of Veto
April 9, 2016
8:00-9:00 AM: Tim told Joel he thinks that Jared may end up going over Kelsey. Joel agreed that it’s likely if the nominations remain the same. Tim felt as though Jared made a mistake by going straight back to being part of the trio once Kelsey returned. Tim pointed out that they have already found out once that Jared and Raul become stronger when Kelsey leaves. Due to that, Tim felt that it may be time to do something different by taking Jared out. Joel and Tim were concerned that Maddy wants to work with Jared and therefore Maddy would go after other people before she would go after Jared. Tim mentioned that Jared would be indebted to them if they were to save him. Tim thought that it may be wise to tell Jared that Raul has to go next if they save him this week. Tim wondered who Maddy would nominate if someone is taken off the block. Joel said it would be prefect if it is Raul. Tim agreed but he wasn’t sure that Maddy would make that move. He said that he could have a talk with her.
10:00-11:00 AM: Players were picked for the veto competition. Maddy, Jared, Kelsey, Cassandra, Nikki and Raul will be competing in the veto competition. Jared told Kelsey he thinks that Raul is a lot closer with Maddy than they know. Kelsey disagreed. The two discussed that the house will be very different after this week. Jared said he will keep Raul in his back pocket if he stays but he does not trust him. Jared mentioned getting the brothers out next. Kelsey told him that he would be a huge target if he does that. Jared said he will be regardless so it’s best for him to take out the other big targets. Jared and Kelsey agreed that Cassandra would likely use the PoV if she wins it. They also thought that they could convince Nikki to use it. Jared told Kelsey that this week is set up perfectly for them to pull something crazy off. Kelsey hoped that all three of them could be safe if Raul wins the PoV. Up in the HoH room, Nikki told Maddy that she has got to win the PoV. Maddy said she doesn’t even care because either Jared or Kelsey will be going home regardless. Maddy told Nikki and Tim that she will nominate someone who ensures that whoever stays on the block would go if the other wins the PoV. She threw out the names of Joel, Nikki and Tim as potential replacement nominees. Maddy said that she would talk to Tim about it. Nikki told Maddy that she made such a brave move and she cannot let anyone intimidate her.
11:00-12:00 PM: In the bathroom, Cassandra asked Kelsey who she would rather have Raul leave over Jared if it comes down to it. Kelsey said she doesn’t like to say that but yes. Cassandra agreed that she would rather see Raul go. Cassandra told Kelsey that Raul is playing a really good social game and has deals with everyone. Kelsey said she loves Raul but sometimes he does not think before he speaks. Cassandra said he is a liar. Kelsey encouraged Cassandra to do her best in the veto competition so that she can take Jared off of the block. Kelsey is unsure why Raul is acting the way that he is. Cassandra told her that Raul was going to the other side to join Maddy after Kelsey left. Kelsey admitted that it was a little weird how calm Raul was when saying that he will not be going on the block this week. The girls agreed that Raul doesn’t care about anyone but himself. Cassandra told Kelsey that she will not go against her in this game. She asked Kelsey to throw the veto competition to her if it comes down to the two of them. Cassandra said that she would use the PoV on Kelsey or else on Jared if that is what they would prefer. Kelsey said that she will do that if she can. Kelsey was concerned about how much time Tim is spending with Maddy. Cassandra assured her that Tim will not go against either of them or Jared. Cassandra asked Kelsey if she would rather have her out over Raul. Kelsey mentioned that Raul is annoying Jared of late. Cassandra said she is the one that they can trust and they should be putting all of their eggs in her basket. Kelsey figured that Raul would not be that upset to leave because he can go hang out with Mitch in the jury house. Cassandra pointed out that breaking up the trio would lessen the target on Jared and Kelsey. Jared joined Cassandra and Kelsey in the bathroom. Cassandra told Jared that she does not trust Raul at all. Jared said he is getting to that point as well. They agreed that Raul is only looking out for himself. Kelsey said Raul told her that he would be willing to work with Maddy. Jared said that whoever stays out of he and Kelsey has to stick with Cassandra and Tim. Cassandra told Jared that they need to start planting seeds to get Raul nominated as the replacement nominee. Cassandra and Kelsey got Jared on board with throwing the PoV to Cassandra if they can. Cassandra told Kelsey that she would have her vote, Jared’s vote, Joel’s vote and Tim’s vote if she is on the block next to Raul, which is all that she needs to stay.
6:00-7:00 PM: The veto competition took place. Jared won the Power of Veto. Tim said Maddy needs to be very smart about what she does. Cassandra said people need to plant the seed that Raul needs to go up. Tim said he already has been as he has said that anyone next to Kelsey is likely to go home so you cannot make it a pawn. Cassandra and Tim agreed that the best case is Raul going up. Cassandra figure that Maddy would listen to TIm. Cassandra mentioned that Maddy will not nominate Raul if she thinks that he will be going home. Tim said he is not going to get involved. He thought that Jared would have to make a deal with Maddy. Tim figured that Maddy would nominate Nikki. Cassandra disagreed and said that Maddy thinks that she has the votes to get Kelsey out even if Raul is nominated.
7:00-8:00 PM: Ramsey told Maddy that the good thing about Raul going on the block is that he would be one less vote for Kelsey to stay. Maddy agreed and added that it would ensure that one member of the trio leaves. Ramsey said that is the biggest thing in his opinion. Ramsey threw Joel’s name out there as the other option. Ramsey questioned how they can know that the brothers will vote their way. Maddy said she knows they will because they told her to let them know what she wants them to do. Ramsey mentioned that the bad thing about putting up Joel is that he wants Joel on their side if he wins HoH next week and is trying to rally the troops against the whoever remains from the trio. Ramsey said the safest bet is to nominate Raul. In the have-not room, Cassandra told Kelsey that they need to be actresses. She explained that the only way for Kelsey to stay in the house is for her to be up against Raul. Kelsey said she knows but she cannot be the one to make that happen. Cassandra said she has to act like she is done with Kelsey. Cassandra told Kelsey she has sacrificed her game for Raul once already and she is not going to do it again. Cassandra planned to tell Maddy that the only way to secure getting one of the three out is to have Raul up on the block. She would then make Maddy believe that she is going to vote Kelsey out. Cassandra said the four votes to evict Raul would be her, Jared, Joel and Tim. Cassandra said she has to act buddy buddy with Maddy in front of Kelsey to make things believable.
9:00-10:00 PM: Cassandra and Maddy spoke in the HoH room. Cassandra told Maddy that after the veto competition Kelsey was commenting on how the two of them are acting like best friends now. Cassandra said Kelsey is being so negative and is digging her own grave, so she needs to separate herself from Kelsey. Maddy said that she is not sure if she should nominate Raul to take a vote away from Kelsey or go the safe route by putting up a pawn that would secure that Kelsey leaves. Cassandra said the safe move may actually be nominating Raul because it ensures that one of the three, likely Kelsey, will leave. Cassandra added that Maddy would be getting no additional blood on her hands by nominating Raul, considering the three are already mad at her and she said in her speech that she was going after the three. Maddy eventually said that she guesses she will have to put Raul up. She was hesitant to do so because Raul came to her and said that he wants to work with her and he trusts her. Raul came up to the HoH room to speak to Maddy. He said he has a feeling that he will be going on the block. Maddy mentioned that a reason for nominating Raul would be that he is a sure vote for Kelsey. Raul told Maddy that Kelsey is not likely to go after Maddy if she stays. Raul said Kelsey is not dumb and he doesn’t think she would take Maddy out this early. However, Raul said that nominating him would be the predictable move.
Raul, a have-not, hid the brownies because he wants to be able to eat them once he is off slop. Some of the others asked for them back but Raul said they are selfish and have food. The honey had also gone missing and some believed that Raul had taken that too. Tim said Raul needs to go on the block. Cassandra agreed. Nikki said he is an animal and she cannot believe that he has taken the honey. Back up in the HoH room, Maddy let Ramsey know Raul is claiming that Kelsey would not go after her if she stays in the game. Ramsey told her to say no more, implying that Raul has to go on the block. Maddy said that Raul is after them. Ramsey said he told her so. Maddy wondered what would happen next if she nominates him. Ramsey said they can send Kelsey home this week and then send Raul out next week. Maddy headed over the bedroom to speak to Joel and Phil. She asked who they would prefer to hear leave between Kelsey and Raul. Joel said Raul is the much stronger competitor. Phil said that he and everyone else can read Kelsey easier. Maddy pointed out that Jared and Kelsey may still be targeted as a couple with Raul out of the picture. Joel and Phil agreed. They told Maddy that everyone but Jared would be on board with nominating Raul. After Maddy left, Joel and Phil discussed that they are in a great spot. Phil said Maddy will be swimming in blood and will have Jared and Kelsey after her. In the HoH room, Cassandra told Maddy that Raul is pissing everyone off cause he stole the honey now too. Maddy said she cannot wait for Raul to be on the block. She let Cassandra know that the whole house is on board.
10:00-11:00 PM: Kelsey told Jared that it would be great if the two of them ended up staying and she then won HoH and nominated Maddy and Ramsey. Kelsey said it would be funny to say she cannot wait to watch those two campaign against each other. She also wanted to tell Ramsey he is on the block because of Maddy. Both things were said to the two of them when Maddy nominated them this week. Cassandra checked in with Kelsey and said that she had to make things look real and therefore she told Maddy that Kelsey is being really negative and she needs to start distancing herself from her. Cassandra asked Kelsey not to take it personally since she knows the plan. Kelsey said that she will not take it personally. Cassandra then told both Jared and Kelsey that she has their backs until the end but she cannot have them say anything this week. She told them that they can talk once the veto ceremony happens.
11:00-12:00 AM: Out in the hot tub, Phil asked Joel who he has any bit of trust in. Joel said he trusts the brothers the most and then Tim would likely be next. Joel explained that Tim proved a lot to him last week when he locked in his vote and let him know that he is with him. Joel said he has a lot of trust in Nikki now that Mitch is gone. Phil said both Nikki and Tim are people that he is tight with. Phil added Cassandra’s name into the mix as someone that can be trusted. He let Joel know that Cassandra trusts him and therefore he should be able to talk game with her if he wants. Joel and Phil discussed that the two of them, Cassandra, Nikki and Tim could work well together since they are all so tight. Up in the HoH room, Cassandra told Maddy that she has been observing things and Ramsey is one of the most normal people in the house. Maddy agreed. Cassandra said she is starting to like Ramsey. The two agreed that they will not put each other on the block. Cassandra said she will not put Ramsey up either. The girls discussed that the two of them, Maddy and Ramsey need to stick together. Cassandra mentioned that Jared will win the game if he gets to the end. Maddy said they need to get him out. Maddy revealed that the only two people that she would not be okay with winning are Joel and Nikki because they haven’t really played the game. Maddy told Cassandra that Ramsey is set on getting Jared, Kelsey and Raul out. Cassandra said he is really smart. Maddy said that’s why he is best friends with Jared. Maddy figured that they are covered on all ends since Cassandra is close with Kelsey and she is close with the brothers. Cassandra said she could get Joel to vote their way as well.
12:00-1:00 AM: Maddy told Cassandra that she would be so happy if they could get Jared, Kelsey and Raul out and then everyone else is left in the Final 7 and can just go for HoH and do what they want at that point. Cassandra noted that they could end up being the final two girls in the house. Maddy said she is down for it and it makes sense. Maddy told Cassandra it sucks cause Ramsey genuinely likes her but she is very in love with the boy that she has back home. Cassandra asked Maddy if the man back home will be upset. Maddy said she will have some explaining to do but she is going to do what she has to do to win $100,000. Cassandra said she wants to work with someone that is there to win the money unlike Kelsey who always gives up. Afterwards, Cassandra told Tim that there is definitely something going on between Maddy and the brothers. Cassandra explained that Maddy was telling her that she controls the brothers and they are with her until the end. Cassandra suggested that they should get Maddy and the brothers up on the block if they win during a triple eviction so that they can take Maddy out.
