BBCAN4 Day 46 - Jared uses the PoV on himself, Raul is nominated
April 11, 2016
9:00-10:00 AM: Cassandra and Tim spoke in the high roller room. Tim said that the brothers are going to try to save Raul. Cassandra wasn’t too concerned because they only need four votes. She figured that Jared and Joel would vote with them to evict Raul. Tim asked if they should nominate Maddy and the brothers if they win HoH. Cassandra said she thinks so. Cassandra did not want to tell either of them that they are a pawn. She then said that she would actually nominate Maddy and Ramsey so that the brothers could go up if Ramsey wins the PoV. If the nominations remained the same, Maddy would then go. Cassandra figured that Ramsey would go to Tim if Maddy leaves. Tim wasn't sure if he wanted Maddy to go before the brothers. He said he does not want to win HoH. Tim asked Cassandra if they are sure that they want Jared and Kelsey to stay. Cassandra said 100%. Tim noted that Jared is a good competitor but said it is better to have him on their side. Cassandra said that they could get rid of him if they win the Final 4 HoH. Tim said he isn’t sure if Jared and Kelsey would keep them over Joel and Nikki. Cassandra said they would. Tim pointed out that they just have to win competitions at that point. Tim asked at what point they should get rid of Joel. Cassandra believes that if they can get to Final 5 with Joel then they should try to take him to the end.
11:00-12:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. Jared used the Power of Veto on himself. Maddy nominated Raul as the replacement nominee. Afterwards, Jared, Kelsey and Raul chatted in the bedroom. Raul said Maddy thinks that he is going against the two of them and they should try to keep it that way. Raul told Jared that is the only thing that can save the two of them if Kelsey goes. Raul suggested that they could meet up for game talks late at night. Kelsey said they should all relax and not get too stressed out at this point cause the eviction is a few days away. Kelsey wanted to have a fun week. She said she won’t be coming back this time and neither will Raul if he is the one that goes. Kelsey told Jared and Raul that they have the only real thing in the house. Raul pointed out that they were able to make it to jury together. Jared told Kelsey and Raul that he will not be getting involved in the decision this week.
Kelsey asked Cassandra what she thought of her speech. Cassandra admitted that it terrified her because she thought that it would lead to Maddy putting up a pawn in order to secure the votes against Kelsey. Kelsey said she could not let Maddy say what she said to her in her speech without saying something back at Maddy that would piss her off. Cassandra pointed out that the campaign angle that she will take to get Raul out is that Raul is so volatile and he has connections with everyone. Cassandra advised Kelsey to lay low and not campaign. Kelsey said the only people that she will campaign to are the brothers. Cassandra told Kelsey that the brothers are already planning to vote Raul out. Cassandra explained that she is going to make Maddy think that she is working with her so that she can get Kelsey the votes to stay. Cassandra assured Kelsey that she wants to take her to the end.
Raul spoke to Maddy and asked her what she is thinking. Maddy said that she doesn’t like the idea of the three as a group. Raul told Maddy she has to understand that he is going to have to campaign against Kelsey. Raul hoped that Maddy still wants to get Kelsey out. Maddy said yeah. Raul said he cannot bash Kelsey but he knows that he cannot work with them anymore. Raul told Maddy that the two of them could probably work something out if he stays. Raul asked if Maddy made a deal with the brothers. Maddy said that they did not make a deal but they said they would do what she wants to do. Raul let Maddy know that she cannot tell anyone what he is saying or else he will have to come after her because it will show that he cannot trust her. After the talk, Maddy went to the brothers and told them that Raul will come talk to them because he thinks that they are working for her. Maddy said Raul explained that he is ready for the showmance to be done with. She asked the brothers not to tell Raul about their talk.
12:00-1:00 PM: Maddy told Ramsey that they are in a good position but it will all come down to who wins HoH. Maddy said they are in trouble if Jared or Kelsey win HoH. Ramsey figured that they may have a shot at convincing them to nominate one of them and then the other can win PoV and they would both be safe. Meanwhile, in the bedroom, Tim told Nikki that the brothers will work so hard to keep Raul because he is not coming after them. Nikki asked if Tim thinks Raul would be nicer without Kelsey. Tim said absolutely not. Nikki said she has never met anyone that is so self absorbed. Tim said Raul will want him gone for that reason. Tim told Nikki that Raul needs to go. Nikki agreed. Tim said if Nikki can do anything for him this week it would be to vote Raul out. Nikki said she can do that. Out by the hot tub, Ramsey asked Jared if Kelsey and Raul are going to campaign. Jared said in a polite way without slandering each other’s names. Ramsey asked Jared who he wants to stay. Jared explained he wants Kelsey to stay and said that Kelsey would have used the PoV on him and that says a lot. Ramsey told Jared that they can likely keep Kelsey in the game. Jared thought so too. He said Cassandra, Joel and Tim would likely all keep Kelsey. Jared said Ramsey could keep Raul if he wants to because it would keep Maddy happy and also allow them to keep their relationship secret. After Ramsey left, Jared let Kelsey know that Ramsey asked him if he wants to keep her. Kelsey said he is only asking that because he knows that she has the numbers anyway. Kelsey let Jared know that Cassandra had to convince Maddy to nominate Raul because she was going to nominate Nikki. Jared said that would have been great because the only person that Kelsey would have gone home against is Cassandra.
2:00-3:00 PM: Maddy told Ramsey that Raul said he knows that she made a deal with the brothers. Maddy said that she did not. Maddy let Ramsey know that Raul was saying that he plans to talk to Ramsey and the brothers because they are two votes that he needs. Ramsey said it’s hilarious how they think that the two of them want Kelsey out. Maddy asked who “they” is. Ramsey said Raul but if Raul thinks that then Jared and Kelsey likely do as well. Maddy said it’s weird that Raul thinks that the brothers are on their side. Ramsey thought that it could be perceived that way because the brothers hang around them a lot.
6:00-7:00 PM: In the HoH room, Cassandra and Maddy discussed that Raul will be leaving this week due to his poor attitude. Cassandra said it is his own fault that he is going. Maddy agreed. Maddy said it was so funny when Raul told her that he wants the showmance to be done with. Maddy mentioned that Jared has been acting weird. Cassandra figured that it was because Kelsey is back in the house. She said Jared goes cuckoo when Kelsey is around. Cassandra suggested that Jared would be way stronger if Kelsey were to go, so keeping her in the game will make Jared weaker. Maddy told Cassandra that she loves how nicely she transitioned from being with Kelsey to being with her. Maddy said it was a smooth transition over a few days. Maddy said she loves the four of them, in reference to Cassandra, Ramsey, Tim and herself. She asked Cassandra if she had spoken to Tim about it. Cassandra said yeah and Tim really likes it and likes Maddy and Ramsey. After Cassandra left, Maddy told Ramsey that Cassandra said Tim really likes the four of them. Ramsey questioned if it would then be dumb to approach Tim about working together as a three. Maddy said yeah. They discussed telling Tim that they were going to offer a three person deal but now that they have made up with Cassandra they are thinking about a four person group. From there, they would see how Tim responds in order to determine whether or not to include Cassandra.
7:00-8:00 PM: Upstairs, Cassandra told Nikki that she has made such a transition with Maddy. Cassandra pointed out that Maddy hated her and wanted her out yet now they are good. Cassandra explained to Nikki that Maddy is the type of girl that needs to point her loaded gun at somebody. Now that Kelsey is back, Cassandra said Maddy has shifted her target back onto Kelsey and off of her. Cassandra told Nikki that she is staying close to Maddy and Ramsey in order to be covered in case Ramsey wins HoH next week. Nikki said she can see Maddy going far in the game. However, she added “not if we can help it”. Cassandra feels that six of nine people competing for HoH will nominate Maddy. The six are Jared, Joel, Kelsey, Nikki, Tim and herself. The two discussed that Maddy wants all of the girls out. Cassandra said Maddy hates them because they are confident females. Both Cassandra and Nikki worried that the brothers would be after them. They talked about needing to get Maddy and the brothers out. Nikki told Cassandra that Phil latched onto both she and Tim when they came into the house. Nikki figured that it was due to Phil believing that they had some sort of power in the game. Once people realized that they were on an equal playing field, Nikki felt that Phil no longer saw the need to stick with them. Cassandra and Nikki headed to the HoH room to talk to Maddy. Nikki asked if Raul knows that he is leaving. Maddy said he for sure thinks that he is staying. Nikki said Raul will be in a for a shock then. Maddy expects that it will be a unanimous vote but she wants people to convince Raul that he is staying. Maddy pointed out that Kelsey could not beat any of them at the end. That being said, she reiterated that she plans to target Jared, Kelsey and Raul until all three of them are out of the house. Meanwhile, Raul asked Jared and Kelsey what their plan will be if they stay together. Jared said it will be the same as if Raul stays because he is not going to change the way he plays. Kelsey said they will stick with Cassandra and Tim. Raul felt as though they needed to be careful with Tim. He said that Tim lies a lot. Jared said Tim is fooling him if he is playing him, so good for Tim. Kelsey felt the same way.
9:00-10:00 PM: Tim asked Phil why he is being different this week. Phil asked what he means. Tim said Phil has not been himself and is thinking too much. Tim thought that Phil no longer believed in himself. Tim mentioned thinking that he and Phil were going to be best mates early on but then something happened. The two agreed that they wanted to be best mates. Tim suggested that they start tomorrow. Tim brought up Nick having come into his own and Phil feeling left behind by it. Phil said all of the teasing that people do doesn’t help. Tim said he recognizes that. Phil pointed out that Tim is seen as a leader and people will tease him if Tim does it. Tim said he can then start making Phil a hero and everybody else will start doing the same. Tim encouraged Phil to be a part of the group. Phil said he wants to be. Cassandra and Nikki were also in the room at the time. Phil said that those three, Nick and Joel are those who he has the most real relationships with. Tim told Phil to be the fun life of the party because that is what will win Big Brother.
10:00-11:00 PM: Nick and Phil chatted in the hot tub. Phil told Nick that Tim said there is something different in him. Phil admitted that there is but he had not thought about it. Phil said he was the leader but he is now dying in the corner and being made fun of for something different every day. Phil said at the beginning he was never not smiling but now he feels as though he is never smiling. Nick said everyone in the house has had a change and it is not necessarily for the worst. Nick said that Tim too has changed and he likes him less than he did at the beginning. Nick told Phil that the best way for him to let his personality shine is through his game. Phil said he doesn’t look at Tim as someone who is the God that knows all but he is very observant. Nick said Phil has been pretty sensitive about things. He thought that the fact that Phil sits there and lets it happen will only make it worse. Phil said he is starting to get broken down and when that happens he breaks hard. Phil let Nick know that he is doing an amazing job and he is so proud of him. Nick reminded Phil that Tim is there to play a game even if he thinks that Tim is looking out for him. Phil said Tim wont win though. Nick told Phil that he will keep him afloat until he can fix himself. Phil said he does not want to revert back to the old Phil because he has grown so much during his time in the house. Phil started talking game. He said that they will win the game if they are in the Final 5 with Cassandra, Joel, Nikki and Tim. Phil explained that Nikki and Tim will give them the money and Cassandra cannot beat them. Phil said he has never seen the game clearer and he realizes that Jared, Kelsey, Maddy and Ramsey have got to go. Phil felt that if he can start acting cool around Tim then Tim will tell Cassandra that they are the most genuine guys. He wanted to show Cassandra and Tim that he is fine and he is with them. Phil told Nick that they are in the same position that Godfrey was in and what he did was offer support to every group.
