BBCAN4 Day 47 - Raul is punished for eating while a have-not
April 12, 2016
10:00-11:00 AM: Raul told Jared and Kelsey that he is going to have to go against them. Jared asked are you kidding me? Raul said he can’t be mad. Jared walked out. Raul told him not to. Jared said if Raul is going to go against him then he doesn’t need to humour him. Raul told Kelsey that Jared is so mad. Kelsey said he will be fine. Jared headed out to the hot tub area for a smoke with Kelsey. Tim was outside as well. Tim said that they need a plan for next week. Jared informed Tim that Raul let them know that he is going against them. Jared figured that Raul would go to the brothers. Tim suggested that Kelsey work on Nikki. Jared said they only need Cassandra, Joel, Tim and himself. Tim felt that he would have to do work on Joel because he has been pissing him off. Jared agreed. Tim said he did some work on the brothers yesterday and he feels as though he could get Phil to change his mind. By the pool, Raul pulled Joel aside to talk to him. He said that he is on the block with his best friend but he has no choice but to go against them now. Raul asked Joel where his head is at in terms of the vote. Joel said it could go either way. Raul suggested that they could create a group with Maddy, Ramsey and the brothers. Raul pointed out that Jared and Kelsey are always going to be together and Jared was always going to put Kelsey ahead of him. Joel was not willing to say one way or another at the moment. Raul was fine with that but did not want Joel telling the others about their talk. Kelsey told Cassandra that it will be a longer couple of days than they had anticipated. Kelsey explained that Raul said his only option left in the game is to go against them. Kelsey said Raul is going to try to work with Maddy’s side if he can stay.
11:00-12:00 PM: Maddy told Cassandra Nikki and Ramsey that everyone feels happy with Raul leaving at this point. Cassandra said she is the mood today where she will not put up with anything. Cassandra said she will make a scene if Raul says one thing to her. Maddy said Raul wanted to be the star of the show and he will become it if they are all yelling at him. Cassandra and Nikki encouraged Maddy to lash out at Raul. Maddy said that she can’t do it yet because they need to convince Raul that he is staying. Cassandra said she doesn’t want Raul to know that he is going until he hears Arisa read out the votes. Nikki asked if the brothers are keeping Raul. Maddy told her that the brothers are so over it and will not keep Raul. Cassandra said that Raul puts an act on. Maddy said she sees Raul getting roasted on Twitter. Nikki doubted that he would be popular. Cassandra said she cannot wait to see the episode in which Raul enters the jury house with Mitch. Maddy pointed out that Raul told Mitch not to take anything personal but Raul is now taking everything personal. They discussed that they have to win HoH. Cassandra told Maddy that she would not be surprised if Kelsey nominated the two of them. Nikki said that they need to get Jared out. Maddy said it is almost better to get Jared out first. Nikki pointed out that Jared is the brains of the two. They discussed going along with Raul’s campaign and making him believe that he is staying. Cassandra brought up saying that they know that they will be 3rd place if they let Jared and Kelsey stay together. Nikki did her impression of Raul, saying “Arisa, is there a mistake or something? I don’t think I’m supposed to be going. Check the votes again”. Raul spoke to Nikki and told her that he doesn’t know what to do. Raul said he will now probably have to go against his only friends and there is no way for him to get out of it. Nikki said he has to because it is dog eat dog. Raul questioned if he is strong enough to do it and accept the consequences. Nikki told him that there are three of them so he will always have someone there. Raul disagreed and said he has to go against them so they will be against him now.
2:00-3:00 PM: Tim was eating at the dining room table. Raul, a have-not, was eyeing up his food the whole time. Tim said “just break it”. Raul then grabbed Tim’s sandwich out of his hands and ate it. He then grabbed Joel’s spaghetti and ate it as well. Tim said he loves what he is seeing. Tim told Raul that if he is going to break the rules then he has to be good at it. The other houseguests told him that he should just keep going now that he ate. Raul said he can’t believe that he broke the rules. Kelsey asked if it was worth it. Raul said it was worth it and it was the best thing he has ever had in his life. The houseguests wondered if they would all be punished. Jared thought that Raul would be put on slop for an additional week. Joel brought up that someone got a penalty vote for doing that in the US. Tim said Raul turned animal and took the food right out of his hands and ate it. Raul said he couldn’t help it and he is so scared now. Tim figured that there was a meeting taking place to determine what to do. Jared told Raul to go apologize in the diary room. Tim asked Raul if he regrets it. Raul said no. Tim said that Big Brother will have to make an example otherwise the whole system collapses. Tim told Raul that he is not sorry but rather he is apologizing out of fear of the consequences.
Tim told Cassandra that she has been letting her guard down in front of the others and has been showing that she is a lot smarter than she gives off at times. Kelsey said that everyone is starting to be more like themselves at this point. Kelsey said she is worried if she stays people will catch on to the fact that the four of them are close. Tim said it will depend on who goes. Cassandra said they need to get Maddy out. Tim said they need to take the leader out and then everyone else will become puppets. Kelsey admitted that it would feel so good to win HoH and take Maddy out. Cassandra mentioned that she is pretending to be close to Maddy and Ramsey in case they get in power so that she can hopefully convince them not to go after their group. Tim said he thinks that Raul thinks that he is going home so he decided to break the have-not rules. Cassandra said they cannot let him know that he is leaving. Kelsey figures that Raul will try to cut a deal with Maddy, Ramsey and the brothers. Tim said that is still not enough numbers. They discussed that they will also likely to turn Nikki on Kelsey so that they have the numbers. Nikki joined them and said she stuck it out even though there were many times that she wanted to go make her own food. Nikki mentioned that they could leave Raul on slop and take both she and Kelsey off of it. Tim suggested that they should threaten Raul with immediate eviction and no live audience if he continues to eat. Tim also said they could tell him he cannot go to the wrap party.
3:00-4:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Maddy and Ramsey discussed what they will tell Tim. Ramsey asked if they should say that they want to make an official alliance. Maddy said yes. Maddy and Ramsey discussed saying that the four of them, including Cassandra and Tim, will not go after each other until they are the only four remaining. Tim joined them. After discussing Raul eating food while being a have-not, they talked about the votes. It was brought up that Raul thinks that he has the votes. Tim said the facts are that Raul is the stronger competitor or the two and keeping Kelsey around will weaken Jared. Maddy said she now understands what Tim was telling her a few weeks ago when he said that they shouldn’t get rid of Kelsey. Tim said Jared would win the game if he takes Kelsey out. Maddy agreed that Jared would go so much further if he separated himself from Kelsey and made other relationships. In the bedroom, Jared was frustrated with Raul. Kelsey told him to remember all of the things that the three of them have done for each other after the past six weeks. Jared said Raul is forgetting that. Kelsey explained that it was her decision to leave the first time and Raul can fight to stay if he wants. Jared said she is right. Kelsey asked Jared not to be mean to Raul. She said they are his only friends. Jared said Raul is doing a bad job of being a friend if he needs friends. Kelsey disagreed.
Meanwhile, outside, Raul told Kelsey that Big Brother is watching him hardcore. He pointed out that the cameras are following him. Nikki was outside. Raul asked her if she has talked to a psychologist. Nikki said she has. Raul said he thinks that he is going to have to talk to one today. Raul told Nikki that he did not know what he was getting himself into when it came to this game. Raul said it is a tough game. Nikki agreed. Raul explained that doing what he did gave him a bit of freedom and let him express that he doesn’t care for a second. Raul said he wants to talk to the doctor. He told Nikki that they are not letting him in the diary room at the moment. Big Brother called all of the houseguests to the living room. Jared said he thinks that they are all going to suffer for this one. Raul said sorry. Big Brother played a video of Raul eating. Big Brother then replayed it in slow motion. Afterwards, Big Brother informed Raul that he is being punished for breaking the have-not rules. Raul was told that he will be put in isolation in the backyard until tomorrow morning. Raul had to head out to the backyard immediately. Jared said they get punished too since they do not get to use the backyard. Nikki said that Raul has dug himself out of the house. Cassandra agreed.
4:00-5:00 PM: Phil told Joel that if he won HoH during a triple eviction he would nominate Nikki and Tim. He said he would let them know that everyone is going to use the PoV. Phil said he would get Maddy on the block after the PoV is used. If Maddy were to win, Phil said he would have her use the PoV so that he can nominate Jared. Joel told Phil that you want to take out two big threats during a triple eviction. He pointed out that one of Nikki or Tim would be evicted if he put them on the block during a triple because two people will go. He also raised concerns that you don’t know for certain that the PoV would be used in that situation. Phil said he could approach Maddy or Ramsey about taking Jared out if they win the PoV. Phil told Joel that Jared doesn’t talk any game with him. Joel said he does not talk much with him either. Joel wondered if it would be better to take out one person from each pair, Maddy and Ramsey and Jared and Kelsey. Joel felt that they could nominate strong competitors and then use a Nikki as a pawn. Phil said he doesn’t want to nominate Maddy because she showed them some grace this week. Joel thinks that Nikki will now vote Raul out after what he did earlier. He said that four votes against Raul have now been secured. Joel asked Nick how much they trust Maddy now. Nick said she has thrown her alliance under the bus before but she has shown good faith. Phil brought up that splitting up Jared and Kelsey may be better because Raul is against Cassandra, Nikki and Tim. However, Phil said that they should get Raul out because he is the bigger threat and Jared and Kelsey will never work with Maddy and Ramsey. They again discussed the possibility of a triple eviction. Phil felt that the best approach would be to make one side really happy.
In the HoH room, Nikki spoke to Cassandra and Tim. Cassandra assured Nikki that they are sticking together. Cassandra told Nikki that they are not working with Maddy. She said they are just being nice to her because she is in power. Nikki said she needs to feel like she has got people looking out for her. Cassandra and Tim assured her that she does. Nikki asked if the three of them can have something solid. Tim said he doesn’t want to put his trust in other people since you can only trust in yourself. He explained that there is a spoken agreement but if they make a move against him they are done. Cassandra said they wouldn’t make a move against him. Tim told Nikki that she is a bit late to the party cause they wanted her the week that they wanted to keep Dallas but she chose to work with a different group. Tim said Nikki is in if she wants but they cannot take her word for it because she let them down once in the past when it comes to a vote. Cassandra said they are all on the same page moving forward. Tim agreed but said he will not do handshake deals. Tim told Nikki that it is not that she chose to save Maddy but rather that she chose to do what someone else wanted her to do over what they wanted her to do. Tim worried that others would try to turn Nikki against Cassandra again. Nikki said she is feeling down and paranoid this week. Tim assured her that she is not on the outs with their group.
6:00-7:00 PM: In the storage room, Cassandra told Kelsey that she is putting herself out there for her. Kelsey said she knows that, appreciates it and would never put her up. Cassandra said she is doing all of this lying straight to Maddy’s face for her. Cassandra told Kelsey that Raul is going home as of now even though Maddy wanted her out. Cassandra said she will deal with the manipulating and the rest of their group can win the comps. Cassandra wanted to make Maddy and Ramsey believe that she is on their side so that she could convince Ramsey to go after the brothers if he wins HoH. Cassandra reiterated that she wants to get Maddy and the brothers out if there is a triple eviction this week. The brothers entered the room. Cassandra asked them who they would nominate if they win HoH next week. Phil said it’s not something that they have to deal with right now but it is not Cassandra or Kelsey. Kelsey asked about the brothers making a deal with Maddy and Ramsey. Phil pointed out that Jared and Kelsey are the ones that made a deal with them two weeks ago. Phil said that all that they did with Maddy is agree that it would be an eye for an eye if she does not nominate them this week. Kelsey said an eye for an eye means nothing to Maddy because they told her the same thing last week and then she nominated them this week anyway. Kelsey questioned why they wouldn’t nominate Maddy and Ramsey then. Phil said they will do whatever they want.
Cassandra and Phil spoke in the bedroom. Phil asked Cassandra to help keep the target off of the brothers in the event that Jared or Kelsey win HoH. Cassandra said she will make sure that they are not nominated. Cassandra mentioned that Maddy and Ramsey are bigger threats than Jared and Kelsey. Phil said the whole house seems to want them out. They both agreed that Maddy is the smarter of the two. Cassandra added that Maddy is also better at competitions. They discussed the options for a triple eviction. Cassandra talked about nominating Maddy, Ramsey and Nikki. If the PoV was used, she said that they could nominate Jared. Phil said he is happy that she said that. Phil didn’t want to have to go against Maddy since she had kept them safe this week. Cassandra told Phil that Nick can give HoH to her if it comes down to the two of them. Phil was on board with that idea. Cassandra mentioned that after Raul goes it will be the two couples and then the two of them, Joel, Nikki and Tim so they will have the majority. Cassandra suggested taking Maddy out and then going after Jared next so that they can leave the two weaker halves of the couples in the game. Cassandra admitted that she is worried that Phil would take Joel to the end over her. Phil said that there is no way he would do that. They agreed that they need to be in the Final 2 together.
8:00-9:00 PM: Tim told Nikki he hopes that they are the Final 2 there. He said he has no plans for Nikki to go home at all. He said it would be hilarious if they were the Final 2. Nikki said she very much doubts it would happen. Tim explained that all they have to do is win a competition at the end and the winner chooses who goes to the end. Nikki apologized for voting the other way a couple of weeks ago. She said that she would never do it again. Tim said it’s fine and he decided that he wasn’t going to let it come between them. Tim told Nikki he knew that he could have tried to convince her to vote the other way but he doesn’t want to have kind of relationship with anyone in the house. Tim said he saw it as karma the week after for Mitch. Tim told Nikki that he doesn’t blame her because it is the other people that are trying to use her. Nikki said she plays emotionally. Tim said Nikki is a great of Big Brother because Big Brother is about allowing all emotions to be freely shown.
10:00-11:00 PM: Cassandra told Joel that they have the best thing going in the house because nobody suspects them or sees them together. Cassandra said she trusts Joel 100%. She mentioned that he always gets her back to trusting the brothers as well. Joel said that the brothers are starting to sketch him out a lot. Cassandra said Kelsey talked to her today and said the brothers were talking about going after the internationals. Joel said Phil told him that in the event of a triple he would nominate Nikki and Tim. Cassandra said that’s stupid. Cassandra told Joel that Tim will not go after either of them and he will take them to the end. Joel said he was starting to rethink how he feels about the brothers after that earlier conversation with Phil. He brought up Phil saying that he wants to show some gratitude to Maddy for not nominating them. Cassandra said they probably made a bigger deal with Maddy than they thought. Joel said it’s a telling sign that Phil gets so fired up whenever someone asks about the deal. Cassandra figured that they made a Final 3 with Maddy and Ramsey. Joel explained that he is thinking of cutting off all of the brothers’ options by taking both Maddy and Ramsey out in the event of a triple eviction.
