BBCAN4 Day 49 - Raul is evicted; Nick and Phil become the new HoHs
April 14, 2016
8:00-9:00 PM: During tonight’s eviction episode, Raul was evicted by a vote of 6-1. Tim cast the lone vote to evict Kelsey. Next up, Arisa informed the houseguests that Canada had voted for who they want to become the new HoH. Arisa explained that the two houseguests who received the most votes would be in the running to win HoH in a game of chance. It was revealed that Nikki and the brothers had received the most votes. Phil asked Nikki if there is anything that she would like to have happen this week. Nikki said she wants Cassandra out. Phil told her that he doesn't know if Cassandra would leave. Nikki suggested that she would if she were to be nominated next to Joel. Nikki pointed out that Phil had not given her any information. Phil said he will be under a lot of pressure to nominate Maddy. The other houseguests then had to drop a ball into a roulette wheel that contained the photos of Nikki and the brothers. The first to four would become the new HoH. Nick and Phil became HoH. Prior to the conclusion of the episode, Arisa informed the viewers that next week’s HoH competition would be a family affair.
11:00-12:00 AM: Feeds returned for the first time following the eviction episode. The have-not competition took place. The have-nots for the week are Cassandra, Kelsey and Tim.
12:00-1:00 AM: Jared told Nikki that he had hoped that she would win HoH. Nikki said she would have nominated Cassandra and Joel. Jared said he expects to go on the block this week, possibly with Maddy. Nikki let Jared know that she told Phil she wants Cassandra out. Nikki said the least Phil could do is nominate Cassandra for her. She felt that it would be fair to Canada since that’s what she would have done. Joel spoke to the brothers in the HoH room. Joel said there is one side that has two people that are strong both physically and mentally. Phil said Maddy and Ramsey. Phil said to say no more because that’s the way that he was leaning. Phil admitted that he loves Ramsey as a guy and a brother. Joel said that Ramsey would understand the move. Phil agreed. Phil asked if Maddy is the one that would go. Joel said he thinks so. Joel told the brothers that they would have the support of the house if they made that move but he will have their backs regardless of the move they choose to make.
Maddy, Ramsey and Tim spoke. Tim said Cassandra has made it quite clear who she wants to work with. Maddy asked who that is. Tim said Jared and Kelsey. Maddy said she plans to let Cassandra do her thing and stay out of it because Cassandra will end her own game. Ramsey let Tim know that he told Maddy about their conversation about working together. He asked Tim if he still believes that it is too early to commit to something. Tim said no because the next few weeks will move very quickly. Tim brought up that Jared may need to go this week. Maddy said she thinks that he needs to go. Afterwards, Maddy and Ramsey headed to the HoH room. Maddy told the brothers that she hopes they saw how unhappy Kelsey was to see them win HoH. Phil said he saw how nervous Kelsey got. Maddy pushed for Jared and Kelsey to be nominated. Nikki joined them and said that she is sick of Cassandra and Kelsey. Nikki let the brothers know that she would be eternally grateful if they were to put Cassandra on the block. Phil told Nikki that they are being pressured by Jared and Kelsey to put Maddy and Ramsey on the block. Cassandra and Joel joined the conversation. Maddy said she doesn’t think that any person in the room wants she or Ramsey on the block.
1:00-2:00 AM: Tim spoke to Phil who told him that he has to decide between Jared and Kelsey or Maddy and Ramsey. Phil mentioned that Jared has not even attempted to talk game with him but Maddy and Ramsey always make an effort. Tim admitted to being in the middle and having both couples wanting to work with him. However, Tim said he is with the brothers, Cassandra and Joel and wants a move to be made that will benefit that group. Phil agreed. Tim discussed that Cassandra would have to work with them if Jared and Kelsey are gone. He said that Cassandra would never work with Maddy and Ramsey. Tim revealed that his gut is telling him the move to make is nominating Jared and Kelsey. Phil said his gut is telling him the same. Tim told Phil to think about who they can beat at the end. Phil said he cannot beat Jared or Maddy. Phil said his gut tells him to take Jared out but his mind tells him to take Maddy out. Tim mentioned that the brothers could always see who offers them the better deal. He said it could be the only chance to get Jared out since there are not many people that are prepared to make that move. Nikki joined them and said she sees Maddy as the strongest girl in the house and someone that deserves to be there. Nikki told the brothers that Maddy and Ramsey have their backs. Phil spoke to Ramsey and told him that he is golden in Nikki’s eyes. Ramsey said it’s because he is a real person. Phil said he wants to keep Ramsey off of the block in his heart and he is now trying to make the game side line up with that. Ramsey asked Phil to let him know that he is good. Phil said he cannot do that yet because he has to do some manipulation. Phil immediately changed his mind and shook Ramsey’s hand and told him that he is not going on the block.
Phil headed to the HoH room and told Nick that they are not nominating Ramsey because he would never put them on the block. The two discussed their options for nominations. Phil brought up the idea of nominating Jared with a pawn. He wanted to keep Kelsey off of the block because she would be loyal to them. Cassandra and Tim were mentioned as possible options. They talked about the votes that they would need to get Jared out. They are banking on Nikki, Tim, Maddy and Ramsey to be sure votes in their corner. Cassandra joined and asked what the brothers want to do. Phil explained that they need to get someone out that can beat them in the end. Cassandra said that is Maddy. She later added Jared’s name into the mix. Cassandra admitted to wanting Maddy out this week. She told the brothers that Jared and Ramsey would then go after each other. Cassandra argued that Maddy and Ramsey would go after the brothers next week if Jared left this week. She did advise the brothers to go after Jared if they believe that he is specifically targeting them, though she said the vibe she is getting from the house is that they want Maddy and Ramsey out. Kelsey told the brothers that hers and Jared’s game plan for this week was always to nominate Maddy and Ramsey in order to get Maddy out. Phil asked if Kelsey would be chill with them if Jared were to leave this week. Kelsey said yes. Phil said he does not want to nominate Kelsey but she would stay over Jared if she ends up on the block with him. Kelsey said she isn’t sure about that and pushed for Maddy to go. She said that Maddy has talked many times about getting the brothers out. Jared joined them. Jared pointed out that Ramsey will be a free agent for them to work with if Maddy goes this week. Phil said he would rather split up Maddy and Ramsey than Jared and Kelsey.
2:00-3:00 AM: After speak to Jared and Kelsey, Phil told Nick that it’s a bit too early to take Jared out. Phil discussed telling Ramsey that he is going on the block but he is not going home. Phil said Jared and Kelsey will be easier to get out later on than Maddy and Ramsey will be. Nick said he is more scared about Maddy in competitions than he is about Jared. At that point, Phil said that Maddy will be going on the block. They wondered if they could get Ramsey to agree not to use the PoV on Maddy in exchange for keeping him off of the block. They spoke to Ramsey to let him know that the whole house wants Maddy to go. Ramsey was not comfortable with going on the block next to Maddy. Ramsey assured the brothers that Maddy would never betray them. He said Maddy means what she says. Ramsey explained that Maddy has been raving to him about how she was wrong about the brothers in the past because she now really likes them. Ramsey suggested using Maddy to their advantage in the game. Phil went back to wanting to target Jared. Ramsey suggested nominating Kelsey along with him if they were to make that move. The brothers wanted to check with Maddy to be sure that they would be safe with her. Maddy said that she would have put them on the block already if she wanted to go after them. Maddy pointed out that they are the type of people that could help get the brothers to the end. She reassured them that she is not going after them or anyone else until Jared and Kelsey are out of the game. After the talk wrapped up, the brothers discussed that Jared and Kelsey have to go on the block.
