BBCAN4 Day 51 - Ramsey wins the Power of Veto
April 16, 2016
10:00-11:00 AM: The players were picked for the veto competition. Nick, Maddy, Ramsey, Kelsey, Nikki and Tim will be competing. Jared was frustrated that he did not get to compete in anything this week. He said that it’s a whole different type of game this week. Kelsey mentioned that it is a good week since they are not nominated. In the high roller room, Maddy told Ramsey that he will have a chance to stay even if the PoV is used on her but she will definitely be leaving if it works out the opposite way. Maddy explained that the only reason why people dislike Ramsey is because he hangs out with her. Maddy revealed that she believes Nikki is the one who planted the idea in the Nick and Phil’s heads to nominate them. Maddy said Nikki always says good morning to her but today she would not even look her in the eyes. They also wanted to get to the bottom of whether or not Tim played a role in the nominations. Ramsey figured that Tim would have stated the obvious in that Maddy is a strong player. Maddy said Tim is claiming that he had no part in the conversation by the hot tub yesterday but the brothers are saying that Tim led the conversation. As for Cassandra, Maddy did not think that she had much involvement in the decision. In the HoH room, Jared and the brothers were discussing Cassandra and Tim. Phil let Jared know that a huge part of why he thought that they could work together is that Jared can see what Cassandra and Tim are doing. They compared notes on what Tim has told them and both mentioned that he has said that he wants them to win the game. Phil said Tim is busted. Jared said Tim is always talking about cults and they are his cult.
11:00-12:00 PM: Cassandra apologized to Nikki for the way that she has been acting towards her. Cassandra felt that Nikki was saying that she had no brain the night that she and Tim took her vodka. Nikki said she did not say that. Cassandra admitted to taking it the wrong way. Nikki told Cassandra that she was trying to make it clear that she was not having a go at Cassandra but she follows what Tim does. Nikki said it was taken out of context. Cassandra said she does not want Nikki to think that she does what Tim says. Cassandra let Nikki know that she wants to go to the end with both her and Tim. Nikki said she really appreciates Cassandra coming to apologize but she hopes that what happened between them does not happen again. Nikki told Cassandra that it would be such a shame to have a falling out with only three weeks left. The girls discussed that they have to let each other know if they do something that pisses the other off. Cassandra said she wants Maddy out of the house and she has done undercover work in order to ensure that the brothers put her up.
Cassandra then headed to the bedroom where Maddy was. Maddy said that she plans to expose the games of a bunch of people before she leaves. Maddy told Cassandra that she will let people know that Jared has her vote if he makes it to the end. She said she hopes that Jared makes it there because he is the only player left after she leaves. Cassandra said she could see the internationals winning. Maddy felt that it would probably be Tim. She was not buying it that they did not want to win the game. Maddy said Jared and Ramsey are the only people that she is not mad at right now. Maddy thought that the smartest move for the brothers would have been to nominate her next to Jared. Maddy said if the nominations don’t change she will hold a meeting and say that she wants to forget about the game and make her last three days the funnest days. Ramsey joined them and asked Cassandra what the rest of the house was saying about he and Maddy. Cassandra said she thinks that they all told the brothers to do whatever they want. Cassandra told them that she is unsure if they whole house actually wanted them on the block. Maddy asked if people were intimidated by Jared pressuring everyone. Cassandra told her that it was more or less that. Maddy said she is only going to use the PoV if Jared will be put up in her place. Cassandra said that is doubtful. Maddy told her that she would rather leave over Ramsey so she would not use the PoV then.
12:00-1:00 PM: Phil said Tim must have good DR sessions. Phil figured that Tim thinks he is the puppet master. Jared said Tim has gone from saying he wants to help a good person win to wanting to be there on finale night. Phil said Tim has told three different powers that he wants them to be there. Jared said they do listen to Tim because he is very smart and says a lot of good things. Kelsey told Jared and Phil that they cannot let people know how close they are. Jared called Tim the ringleader of the cult. He mentioned that Tim said he doesn’t want HoH because he doesn’t have any targets on his back and he doesn’t want to create any. They discussed how Tim was leading the conversation about getting Maddy and Ramsey on the block yesterday. Jared and Kelsey let Phil know that Tim was freaking out saying that the brothers want him to tell them what to do so that they can blame it on him next week. Kelsey said they know that Tim has won Big Brother and is an icon but he runs the house. Phil said we’ll see. Jared told Phil that Tim would probably nominate the two of them. Phil said Tim would destroy all of his credibility in the house if he were to do that. Jared said they have caught Tim in so many lies including that he does not know the game yet he knows all of the past houseguests.
2:00-3:00 PM: After a feed outage of over an hour, Ramsey was noticeably upset about something. There is no confirmation as to what happened. Maddy was with him and was sniffling. Ramsey told her that she will be good in this game with or without him. Maddy said no and she doesn’t really care about the game. Ramsey told Maddy that he will be okay and not to worry about him if that is why she is crying. Ramsey thanked Maddy for always being by his side. Meanwhile, the brothers chatted in their HoH room. Nick said Jared wants everyone but them out of the house at this point. Phil agreed and said he has complete faith in Jared and Kelsey. Phil said he is totally cool with going to the Final 3 with Jared and Kelsey. Nick figured that Jared and Kelsey would be saying the same thing. Phil told Nick that they need to maintain their relationship with Joel. He feels that they are the two that are most loyal to Joel. As for Cassandra, Phil wanted to ask her who she is going to be after next week if she wins. Phil think that it would have to be whoever survives out of Maddy and Ramsey along with Jared and Kelsey. They again discussed how they are on to Tim’s game. Phil brought up that Tim did not want to give any information to them in front of Joel and Nikki because it would have contradicted what he had previously told Joel. Phil said it’s game over when you have Jared and the brothers after you. Nick added that Tim screwed himself. They discussed that it is important not to let Tim know that they have caught on to his game or else he will come after them and get others after them as well. Phil talked about their ability to beat Jared at the end. He thought that the jury would not vote for them if they were to act super close with Jared and then cut him. He figured that it was best to not openly show how close they are to Jared because people would then understand why they cut him.
3:00-4:00 PM: Phil checked on Ramsey and asked him if he is alright. Ramsey said he is good but it is shocking and weird and there are so many things running through his mind. Phil told him that no one there can imagine what he is going through at this time. Phil encouraged Ramsey to think about family and home. He let Ramsey know that they have got his back. A short while later, Ramsey told Maddy that the veto competition will help a lot because he can take his mind off of things. Ramsey said he is deciding whether or not he wants to be there. Ramsey was called to the diary room. After he returned from the diary room, Ramsey told Maddy that who knows what’s going to happen and he has to decide if he is even going to come back. He said he will be there for the PoV and then he is going to leave. Maddy mentioned that Ramsey is leaving really early tomorrow at 7 AM. Ramsey said he doesn’t know if they can talk about it. Maddy told Ramsey to do whatever he wants to make himself happy. She said that’s all that is important. Maddy said she would be very stressed out if she were in Ramsey’s situation because he is trapped. Maddy told Ramsey to stay if being there makes him happy or else go home and be with family if that will make him happy.
10:00-11:00 PM: Feeds returned following the veto competition. Ramsey won the Power of Veto. Ramsey told Maddy that the brothers told him that they are happy that he won. He said he told them that he is not happy because he would rather it had been Maddy that won. In the HoH room, Phil discussed the possibility of Ramsey using the PoV on Maddy. The brothers didn’t think that Ramsey would do it but Phil said that one of them is going home either way. Nick said if there was an option for Ramsey to use it on Maddy and go home to see his dad he might have done it. Nick suggested that they nominate Tim as the pawn because he had offered to go up. Nick said it either has to be Tim or Nikki. Phil said he wants to put Nikki up. Nick said “done”.
11:00-12:00 AM: Cassandra and Tim discussed that Ramsey is the strongest competitor in the house. Tim said he hopes that Ramsey uses the PoV on Maddy. Cassandra and Nikki disagreed and said that Maddy has to go. Cassandra said Maddy would come after them but Ramsey is someone who they could possibly get on their side. Kelsey said she is happy for Ramsey but she hopes that he does not use the PoV on Maddy. Jared said he would be dumb to because he would go home if he did that. Joel agreed. Kelsey said Maddy needs to go this week. Joel felt that everyone was on the same page when it comes to Maddy going this week. In the high roller room, Maddy told the brothers she feels that the respect they showed her last week is gone. She said that there is so much negative energy directed towards her that it is hard. Maddy explained that it is tough to hear them tell Ramsey how great he is and then they don’t say anything to her. Ramsey asked them to try to make it equal. Ramsey said that once people see the brothers hanging out with Maddy and caring for her they will do the same. Phil thanked them for saying this and said he is always open to constructive criticism. As for the replacement nominee, Maddy suggested that the brothers nominate the other big player and let the house decide. Maddy said she gets that Jared is a strong player but that should make their move plain and simple because they could let them duke it out. Maddy felt that it would give the brothers the best way of getting out of the situation that they are in. Phil said it sucks but the way to get out of the situation is to send either Maddy or Ramsey home. Maddy said that it is clearly her. The brothers said there is talk of Ramsey using the PoV on Maddy. Ramsey revealed that he plans to use it on himself. The brothers said that they cannot nominate Jared. They told Maddy that she would be unlikely to have the votes against Jared and then they would have him coming after them. Maddy disagreed that she would not have the votes to stay. Ramsey asked who they are thinking of nominating. Phil said a pawn. Phil told Maddy that she is the best player in there, even better than Jared, and she has Ramsey on her side. Maddy asked the brothers to do her a favour then and not make her last four days a living hell. After the brothers left, Maddy said that she is so close to bringing everyone into the living room and putting them on the spot.
12:00-1:00 AM: Maddy told Cassandra that the brothers told she and Ramsey that they may think that Nikki and Tim have their back but they do not at all. Maddy wondered why Tim would lie to her. She said that he doesn’t even seem to be able to look her in the eye. Maddy felt that Tim had gone into the HoH room and told the brothers that she is the strongest player in the house. Maddy pointed out that Tim told her that he wants to coach her and have her win the game so he should be helping her. Maddy said she is so confused by Tim and she does not know what she did wrong. Cassandra suggested that Maddy have a one on one talk with Tim to figure things out between them. Maddy asked if Tim has said that he dislikes her or anything. Cassandra told Maddy that Tim has said nothing but good things about her. Maddy listed off her ideal eviction order as the brothers, Kelsey, Joel, Jared and Nikki. That would leave Cassandra, Ramsey and Tim at the end.
1:00-2:00 AM: Nick and Phil chatted in the HoH room. Phil said that Ramsey sees what Tim is doing but Maddy does not. Nick said Jared, Ramsey and the two of them can see it. Phil said he will be treating Tim like any other random player moving forward because he is a random player. Phil plans to be overly nice to Tim. Phil told Nick that they are managing jury votes and deciding who they want to sit next to at the end at this point. Phil believes that they have a good shot at making it to the Final 4. Phil said people are so scared that they will not make a big move like nominating them next to Ramsey. He thought that they would use a pawn next to a big player. Phil thinks that Tim is now scared because he is feeling it. Nick said that he should be because he has ruined his whole game. Phil told Nick that they have to manage things perfectly with Jared and Ramsey because right now Jared is closer to them than he is with Ramsey and Ramsey is closer to them than he is with Jared.
Out by the pool, Ramsey spoke to Tim. Ramsey told Tim that the brothers are so scared to put Jared up because they think that Tim wants he and Maddy out. Tim said the brothers wanted Jared out but wanted him to be the one to say it. Ramsey said the brothers don’t use Tim’s name but they are implying that he is leading conversations to get the two of them out. Tim said it is not him. He told Ramsey that it is Cassandra and Kelsey. Ramsey let Tim know that the brothers may be putting him up cause they said that they are going to put up a pawn and it is not going to be Cassandra or Joel. Tim told Ramsey that he did not lead any conversation and all that he did was tell the brothers that there are consequences to what they do. Ramsey asked if Nikki said to put the two of them up. Tim said no and that Nikki actually said she would be happy if Ramsey won the game. Ramsey said all of a sudden Nikki is having coffee with Cassandra. Tim said Cassandra is the one having coffee with Nikki. He asked Ramsey how he is falling for it. Tim explained that even though Cassandra is weak in competitions she is the best in the other part of the game. Tim told Ramsey that what he suggested to the brothers was to nominate him next to either Jared or Maddy. Ramsey said the brothers are so scared of Jared and they managed to do what they have done the whole game as HoH. Tim told Ramsey that he is believing the people who will look for a scapegoat and never take responsibility for their own decisions. Ramsey said Tim is fooling himself if he thinks that he believes the brothers. Tim asked if the brothers would work with the two of them and Maddy. Ramsey said yes because they respect him. Ramsey told Tim that he has to wake Maddy up as to what is going on between her and Cassandra. Ramsey said the brothers told Maddy that Cassandra was neutral and told the brothers to do whatever they want. Tim said it was in fact the opposite and that Cassandra plays a part in these decisions. Tim told Ramsey that he wants Maddy to know that. Ramsey and Tim agreed that it would be nice to put the brothers on the spot by having a split 3-3 vote and forcing them to make the decision.
2:00-3:00 AM: Tim spoke to Phil about the possibility of nominating Jared. He said there is a much bigger force in the house aside from Maddy and Ramsey. Tim said it would be a 3-3 vote at worst. Phil said he doesn’t understand why he would nominate Jared. Tim said it is the biggest move that could be made this week. Phil pointed out that people could unanimously vote to keep Jared even if they put him on the block. Tim pointed out that Phil is not working with Jared until the end. Phil agreed but said he is not working with Maddy and Ramsey until the end either. Phil said he thought that Tim wanted Jared to stay. Tim said that he just wants a move to be made. Phil felt that they made a big move by nominating Maddy and Ramsey. Phil told Tim that he would be upsetting both sides if he were to nominate Jared. Tim said he is willing to be the pawn but he doesn’t think that is a big move. Tim suggested that Phil think about it for a day. Phil said nominating Jared would be one of the dumbest moves in Big Brother history. Tim told Phil that they are proving that they go along with the majority. Phil disagreed and said that that’s what they want people to think. Cassandra joined them. Phil said he is not nominating Jared and that is final. Tim said Phil is sticking to the way that he has played the game up to this point, which is fine. Phil told Tim that he put two great players up who could win the game and the best player is going to go home. Tim let Phil know that he better not dare tell Maddy and Ramsey that he was the one leading the charge against them. Phil said that he never once named his name. Phil told Tim that he is being condescending towards him. Shortly thereafter, Phil headed upstairs.
Ramsey filled Maddy in on his talk with Tim. He told her that Cassandra is behind all of this and that Nikki has actually fought for them. Ramsey said that Tim is so sick of what Cassandra and Kelsey are doing that he is talking to Phil about getting Jared on the block and making an alliance with the two of them and the brothers. Ramsey said Tim and Nikki are really on their side. Ramsey told Maddy that Tim cannot stand the fakeness and he could not stand to be in the room with Cassandra and Kelsey because they hate Maddy and so badly want to get her out of the house. Maddy wondered if Tim could sway Phil. Ramsey thought so because he believes that the only reason Phil nominated them is because he thought that Tim wanted it to happen. Ramsey brought up that they will have a four person alliance with Nikki and Tim if the plan goes through. Maddy wondered if Tim really meant it. Ramsey said Tim meant it and he could feel it in his heart. Ramsey told Maddy that Tim became disgusted when he thought that they were falling for what Cassandra is telling them. Ramsey said Cassandra is the one running the whole show. Ramsey told Maddy that he doesn’t feel threatened by Jared and he would nominate Cassandra and Kelsey if he wins HoH. Ramsey said Tim is threatened by Cassandra and he feels that he is stuck with her and cannot get out of it.
Phil told Nick that Tim is out of control and knows that his game is ruined. Phil called Tim their #1 target and said it is hilarious how exposed his game is. Phil said Ramsey can align with Tim but it will be the two of them against the whole house. Tim mentioned that the move that the brothers made was not that strong and said he hopes it wins them $100,000. Phil was not happy with that comment and felt that Tim said it only because his game is in danger. Nick pointed out that he saw this coming with Tim a month ago and told Phil about it back then. Nick said that they need to nominate Nikki. Phil said that is obviously what they are going to do. Nick thought that putting Nikki up is the only way to guarantee that Maddy leaves. They then continued to discuss Tim. Phil felt that Tim is now seeing that they are a part of the popular kids that he was never a part of. Nick said Tim’s skill was manipulation but he has nothing left after they take that away from him. They discussed the need to expose Tim’s game to everyone. Phil proposed the idea of a house meeting to expose that Tim tried to get them to nominate Jared and to expose the rest of his game. Nick was on board. Phil said they will be legends if they do that even if they go home.
3:00-4:00 AM: Nick and Phil debated whether or not to follow though with blowing up Tim’s game. Phil said it is such a diversion from the way that they usually play. Nick said he is fine with going home for calling out a coward if it plays out that way. They discussed that they may call Tim out at the veto ceremony. Phil was unsure if it was worth it because they would have the numbers anyway. They said that they will need to sleep on it and talk about it tomorrow. Phil then mentioned the idea of nominating Tim instead of using Nikki as a pawn. Tim would then be the target. Nick said they would have to ensure that they expose Tim’s game if they go that route. Phil told Nick that he really wants to stab Tim in the back. He worried that there are no guaranteed votes to evict Tim. They went over the game plan for what they will say to everyone in order to turn them against Tim. Phil ended the conversation by saying that Tim is going home this week.
