BBCAN4 Day 57 - Cassandra nominates Nikki and the brothers
April 22, 2016
8:00-9:00 AM: Kelsey asked Jared what he thinks about her having discussions with Cassandra that they cannot beat him in the end. Jared got upset and said that saying things like that make Cassandra consider that she would get no blood on her hands by taking him out. Jared said he already told her the less lying they do the better and yet she wants to keep lying. Kelsey assured Jared there are not a lot of people that want to take him to the end. Kelsey said she would take him to the end but she is trying to help him get to the end through her talks with Cassandra. She explained that there would be no reason for Cassandra to want to go to the Final 3 with them if she knows that they would take each other over her. Jared told her to do whatever she needs to do. Kelsey said she doesn’t have to do it and it was just an idea that she wanted to talk to him about. Jared continued to get frustrated but told Kelsey to go do it. Kelsey said she doesn’t really care because Cassandra likely doesn’t see her as much of a threat, so she will do nothing.
9:00-10:00 AM: Cassandra, Jared and Kelsey spoke out by the hot tub. Cassandra worried that the brothers would have a good shot at winning the PoV if she nominates Nikki and she and Nikki are two weak players. Jared said he wouldn’t risk not putting the brothers up and having them not use the PoV if they get picked to play. He also said Nikki will be after Cassandra next week regardless of whether or not she goes on the block. Cassandra said they need to ensure that the brothers leave this week. Jared told Cassandra that the brothers have called her a snake, said she is playing the whole house and told them to vote Tim out because Cassandra and Tim are playing the whole house. Kelsey mentioned getting Nikki out in the event that the brothers win the PoV. Kelsey said Tim is a bit more exposed now after the past week. Jared added that Tim now feels vulnerable and it’s a good time to build trust with him. Cassandra told Jared and Kelsey that she would never put them up. Cassandra again said they need to get the brothers out. Jared said he is on board. Kelsey said the brothers are the biggest threat at the moment and they should be the target but Nikki going is also good. Cassandra asked what the brothers have been saying. Jared said they are pissed and had to be calmed down. Jared mentioned that they were upset that Cassandra is not talking to them. Cassandra felt that they had exaggerated her behaviour in hope of getting Tim out. Cassandra asked if she could trust Jared and Kelsey to vote the other person out if she nominates Tim as a pawn in the event that the PoV is used. Jared said 100%. Kelsey said they need to be cautious of Tim because he would probably nominate she and Jared next week if he were to win HoH. Jared said they are not worried about Tim. Cassandra called Tim a wildcard but said he is good to them. Cassandra said now is not the time to get Tim out. Kelsey explained that they were not worried about Tim at all until he went on the block and everyone started revealing stuff about him. Kelsey told Cassandra that she can set herself up well for next week even by nominating the brothers. Kelsey suggested not doing what Loveita did when she made it clear who her target was. She told Cassandra to let the brothers know that she would be fine with Nikki going. After Cassandra left, Kelsey told Jared that she believes it would be best to get Tim out over Nikki. Jared agreed but said they cannot say to Cassandra anymore because she trusts Tim.
10:00-11:00 AM: In the HoH room, Kelsey informed Cassandra that the brothers were trying to get them to vote Tim out after he went on the block last week. Cassandra questioned why Jared and Kelsey did not come to her to let her know that. She admitted to knowing though Maddy but said she was waiting for Jared and Kelsey to tell her. Kelsey said they did tell her yesterday. Cassandra then asked when the brothers started pushing for Tim to go. Kelsey mentioned that they pushed the hardest for Tim to go yesterday but it started from the moment that Tim was placed on the block. Kelsey reassured Kelsey that she and Jared were always stoked to go to the Final 4 with Cassandra and Tim. Cassandra said they can still do that. She added that she will never put them up and they will never put her up, so they are going to the Final 3 together. Cassandra felt that it was best for her game to have the brothers go this week but wanted to know what is best for Kelsey’s game. Kelsey said she is good with the brothers leaving.
11:00-12:00 PM: The brothers discussed that they have an uphill battle in front of them. Phil said Jared wont even look at him. Phil figured that they would be going home if they are on the block next to Nikki. He mentioned that they are playing a perfect game. Kelsey talked to the brothers and let them know that Cassandra is considering nominating them next to Nikki. She advised them to accept that they are probably going on the block but have a good chance to win the PoV. Phil said he hopes that Jared and Kelsey did not throw them under the bus. Kelsey assured him that they did not. Kelsey suggested that they could try to put the focus on Nikki, though Phil said that is not how he plays the game. Phil told Kelsey that they deserve to go home because they are probably the best players in the game. Nick told Phil that a lot of good players go out around this time. They also agreed that they would not vote for Jared to win the game if he wins the PoV and does not use it on them.
12:00-1:00 PM: Nikki asked Joel and Tim if they will argue her case to Jared and Kelsey if she ends up going on the block. Joel said yes. Tim assured Nikki that Jared and Kelsey would not save the brothers. Either way, they explained that Nikki will have the votes because she has the two of them and Cassandra would be the tiebreaker. Tim advised Nikki to tell Cassandra that she is okay with the move and she would not come after her for it. Tim did not think that Cassandra would leave the brothers in the game once she has nominated them. Tim let Nikki know that she would be a part of their group if they save her, leaving only Jared and Kelsey on the outside. Nikki worried that the brothers would go tell Cassandra that she hates her. Tim said they can let Cassandra know that Nikki does not hate her.
5:00-6:00 PM: Cassandra spoke to the brothers. Phil said that he had a freakout yesterday. Cassandra questioned why. Phil explained that Tim approached him yesterday before the eviction and said he knows that he is behind a plan to get him out. Cassandra cut in and said she loves the brothers. Nick said Cassandra shrugged him off yesterday. Nick told Cassandra that Maddy said to him that she would mess their game up before she left. He later admitted to Phil that Maddy did not actually say that. Phil told Cassandra that Nikki wanted to put Cassandra and Kelsey on the block. Phil explained that Jared and Kelsey told him that they did not know who was going to stay last night so he told them to do what they want and vote out Tim if they want to. Cassandra said she was taken aback by what she heard yesterday when she found out that the brothers were trying to flip the vote just before they were about to be unable to compete for HoH. She also brought up that Maddy told her the brothers wanted to keep her and made a deal with her. The brothers denied it. Cassandra said she heard that Phil called her a snake. He admitted to that. They then took a break from their talk for dinner.
6:00-7:00 PM: The brothers and Cassandra continued their talk. Cassandra wanted the brothers to tell her who she should put on the block. Phil pointed out that Nikki would be a guaranteed vote against her if she ends up on the block. Cassandra asked if she can trust Kelsey and Jared. Phil said that she will have an ally in those two for now if she keeps them safe but they will not be an ally until the end. Phil revealed that Jared said they are going after Cassandra and Tim next. Phil told Cassandra that she will be losing a great ally if she takes them out this week. Cassandra asked if Jared and Kelsey would put her up next week. Phil pointed out that there are not many options left. Nick said all they know is that they will not put her up. Phil let Cassandra know that Kelsey told them they are probably going on the block and that they should fight for the PoV. Phil said he would not go after Jared, Kelsey, Tim or himself if he were Cassandra, leaving only Joel and Nikki as options. Cassandra said Nikki will most likely be going up as one of the nominees. Cassandra asked if Jared has been talking negatively about her. Phil said all he knows is that Kelsey thinks Cassandra is making deals with everyone and therefore she cannot be trusted. Phil said Cassandra would have been in some deep water with Jared and Kelsey had she not won HoH this week. Phil said it would be impulsive and not a smart decision to nominate he and Nick. The brothers said they have been loyal to Cassandra since Day 1. Cassandra asked the brothers what they think about going on the block with Nikki so that they can win the PoV and they can backdoor Jared. The brothers said they will go home. Cassandra said everyone in the house wants the brothers on the block. Phil told her to put them up then. Phil brought up Jared saying that he has his eyes on both Cassandra and Tim.
Tim joined Cassandra and the brothers in the HoH room. The brothers said there are other people in the house leading the conversations about getting Cassandra and Tim out. Tim said he was taken aback by what happened yesterday because he meant it that they could work together after he offered to be a pawn for the brothers. Phil said they did too. Tim said one of the things that was clear yesterday is that everything came through Phil in terms of the potential vote flip. Tim said Maddy was working with the brothers and had gotten the go ahead from them to get him out. Tim felt that they saw that they did not have the numbers and then backed out of the plan. Cassandra asked how the confusion started yesterday. Phil said he told Jared and Kelsey that they can vote out Tim if they want cause he would rather have Maddy coming after him than have three people after him. Phil explained that was only after Jared and Kelsey said they did not know what they were going to do. Tim asked if they are saying Jared is the one who tried to flip the vote. Phil said Maddy came up to him and said she had Jared’s vote. Tim said their dilemma is deciding who to believe, Jared or the brothers. Tim mentioned that they both likely had the same goal but they did not have the numbers to make it happen. Tim told the brothers they are trying to figure out if Maddy was working with the brothers. Nick pointed out that Maddy said she would see Tim next week before leaving the house. He said they were unable to compete for HoH this week, implying that someone else was clearly after Tim. Tim asked Cassandra what she is thinking cause this has changed his mind. Cassandra said she has always trusted the brothers. Tim said if it was up to him he would nominate Jared and the brothers and let the competition decide it. Tim felt that Maddy would not have said “see you next week” if she were working with the brothers. They thought Jared may have been the one working with Maddy.
7:00-8:00 PM: Jared broke up the conversation between Cassandra, Tim and the brothers. Cassandra said it’s hard being HoH. Jared pointed out that it can be stressful because you will think you have the right idea then you feel bad about it. Cassandra wanted to get to the bottom of what happened yesterday. Jared explained that the brothers wanted Tim out and told him that they stayed up until 4 AM one night plotting against Tim and planning a speech. Jared said Maddy made a deal with the brothers. Jared mentioned that Phil approached he and Kelsey yesterday to tell them that they should vote Jared out. As for calling the brothers cowards for not nominating Jared, Tim explained that he wanted it to happen in order to expose the brothers. He assured Jared that they had the votes to save him either way. Cassandra said the four of them need to stick together. Tim admitted that he kind of believed Nick and Phil for a second while they campaigned. Cassandra said she does not trust the brothers. Tim felt that it took them a long time to come up with a story and they were not factual like Jared was. Tim told Jared that the brothers will continually try to turn them against each other. Cassandra said that’s why they need to go. Cassandra advised Kelsey not to say anything to the brothers. She told Kelsey that they come to her and tell her what Kelsey has said. Cassandra let Jared and Kelsey know that the brothers threw them under the bus big time.
Meanwhile, Joel and Nikki chatted in the bedroom. Joel explained to Nikki that the final HoH gets to choose who goes home. Nikki said she is going to be that HoH. She asked Joel how she can win it. Joel told her that she needs to get there first. Nikki said that could be a problem. Nikki told Joel that she has chosen her winner and will be voting for him to win the game. Joel suggested that Nikki lay low and do what she has been doing. Joel let Nikki know that people have her back. She worried that Cassandra says she has her back but might not actually have it. Joel said Cassandra has bigger fish to fry. Joel said both he and Tim want Nikki to get to the end. Joel said he wants to play with people like Nikki because she is honest and straightforward. Nikki said she feels that way about Joel and Tim. Nikki let Joel know that if she needs Cassandra’s vote she will promise her a jury vote in exchange for saving her but she will really vote for Joel in the end. Nikki then headed to the HoH room. Cassandra told her that she wants the brothers out but needs a pawn. She asked Nikki how she feels about going up beside the brothers. Nikki said it’s cool because she has two guaranteed votes. Nikki wanted to know who Cassandra would nominate if the brothers were to win the PoV. Tim said he thinks that Jared or Kelsey would have to go. Cassandra agreed. Nikki asked if Cassandra would 100% nominate one of those two. Cassandra said 100% and that they will be the target over Nikki. Tim told Nikki that they just found out the brothers, Jared and Kelsey all want him out. Cassandra thought that it would be best to get Jared out if the brothers win the PoV. She said a big move will be made this week and either Jared or the brothers will go. Tim said both Jared and the brothers were telling the truth about it being the other making the move, because they are both making moves against them. Nikki said she is fine with going on the block as long as Cassandra is true to her word. Cassandra assured Nikki that she will be. Tim told Nikki that if she stays it means that she can trust them and they want to work together. Nikki said if they prove their loyalty to her this week she will stick with them until the end.
8:00-9:00 PM: Out by the hot tub, Tim got Joel caught up on the plan. Joel said the next target seems obvious in the event that the brothers save themselves. Tim said Jared. Joel asked if he agrees. Tim said yeah. Tim mentioned that they found out that Jared and Kelsey wanted him out yesterday. In the bedroom, Jared told Phil that they have got to stick together this week. Phil said they are probably going up together. Jared did not want them to be bringing each other’s names up in conversations. He said that they need to bank on Nikki being on the block. Jared told Phil that they can take each other off of the block if they win the PoV. Phil said he is not afraid to do it. Phil told Jared that Tim mentioned putting the two of them on the block together. Jared let Phil know that Cassandra and Tim told him everything that he said to them but he does not care because it’s a game. Jared said they need to remain focused on getting Nikki out this week. Jared told Phil that Tim is doing what Tim does best. He again pleaded with Phil not to go run back to Cassandra and Tim. Phil gave his word that he would not.
Joel headed up to the HoH room. Cassandra asked him for advice. Joel said he would nominate Nikki and the brothers. Cassandra revealed that she is thinking about nominating Jared if the brothers win the PoV. Joel said that’s perfect. Joel told Cassandra that he explained to Nikki that Cassandra has bigger fish to fry than her. Cassandra felt that Nikki is now over any issues that she had with her. Joel agreed. Jared interrupted and asked to speak to Cassandra alone. He told Cassandra that he wants her to do what is best for her game, suggesting that Tim is treating this like his own HoH week. Cassandra disagreed and said she is doing what she wants. Jared then said Tim ran downstairs to tell Nikki everything that they had talked about in the HoH room. Jared said he loves Tim but he doesn’t like how many times Tim has brought up nominating him in recent weeks. He told Cassandra that Tim has said he is willing to vote her out on three different occasions. Jared felt that Tim wants Nikki in the game in order to get her to the end with him. Jared asked Cassandra what she wants to have happen this week. She said she wants the brothers out. Jared said they can do that. Cassandra let Jared know that she wants to go to the end with him. She brought up that Jared, Kelsey and herself are the majority in a house of six.
9:00-10:00 PM: Cassandra asked the brothers to speak in the HoH room. She told them that she plans to put them on the block. Phil pushed for her to say that he is going on the block because he is Derrick. Nick wanted Cassandra to say that they are great players. Cassandra told them they can leave if they are going to tell her what to say. The brothers said they are just joking. However, Nick said this is going to be laughable. Phil said it will be funny. Cassandra said she just wanted to let them know what she was going to do.
11:00-12:00 AM: Feeds returned following the nomination ceremony. Cassandra nominated Nikki and the brothers for eviction. Out by the hot tub, Nick told Nikki and Tim that it was nothing personal when he said that he wants a Canadian to win the game. Tim said bring it on and told the brothers that they will have to take both he and Nikki out. Nick said let the games begin. Tim replied with “it’s one nil so far”. Phil told Tim his strategy was smart, taking the weak players to the end. Tim said excuse me and asked Phil what kind of idiot he is. Tim told Phil that you do not call people weak players. Phil backtracked and said maybe he is completely wrong. Tim said he is and walked out. Before doing so, Tim told Phil that he should explain to everyone there that he thinks they are weak. Tim let Jared, Kelsey and Joel know what Phil had said. Meanwhile, Phil told Nick that Tim cannot deal with confrontation at all. He said that Tim is scared of it and scared of them. Phil figured that they would have no chance of staying unless they, Jared or Kelsey win the PoV. They discussed blowing up Tim’s game. Minutes later, Phil said they need to remember the 24 hour rule and not doing anything crazy until they have thought it over for a day. The brothers feel that they only need one vote, Joel’s, considering they assume that they have Jared and Kelsey’s in the bag.
1:00-2:00 AM: In the HoH room, Cassandra told Tim about her talk with Jared in which Jared said Tim has told him he would vote her out and also that Tim has throw his name out there many times. Cassandra felt that Jared was trying to make her wary of Tim. Tim looked at it differently and thought Jared really believed those things. Tim assured Cassandra that he will not turn on those who are working with him. He noted that Cassandra and Joel had his back last week when he needed it and that really solidified things. The two were in agreement that Jared played a role in the potential vote flip that had taken place a day earlier. Cassandra thought that Jared would never put her on the block. She asked Tim if it was BS. Tim thought that it was. Tim asked if he should try to repair his relationship with Jared this week. Cassandra said yeah but pleaded with him not to let Jared know that she told him about their talk. Tim said that he would not tell Jared. He mentioned having brought Jared’s name up many times but he has always told Jared and it has never been as a target. Tim said it would be sad if Jared did vote him out because he is afraid that he would vote Jared out, because he would not do that. Cassandra wanted to win the PoV, get the brothers out and lock in that Jared is working with them moving forward. In the event that the brothers win the PoV, Cassandra began to wonder if it is best to take Kelsey out over Jared.
