BBCAN4 Day 61
April 26, 2016
10:00-11:00 AM: Up in the HoH room, Nikki told Cassandra and Tim that she would nominate Kelsey and the brothers because she is sick of being an object for them to look at. She said she caught Kelsey staring at her four times and felt so unbelievably uncomfortable. Nikki thinks that Kelsey hates her. Nikki took it as Kelsey looking at her and saying “I’m coming for you”. As for Phil, Nikki said she keeps seeing him looking at her in mirrors. Cassandra figured that they would be coming after her as well. Cassandra told Nikki that people have been avoiding her like the plague and Nikki is the only one who hangs out with her. Cassandra asked Nikki to please win HoH next week. Nikki mentioned that she may not be there. Cassandra assured her that Joel will not sway. Cassandra felt that she would now have the biggest target on her back because she made the move that everyone else was afraid to make. They discussed that they need to get the brothers out and then target Kelsey. Nikki again mentioned that she cannot stand that Phil and Kelsey stare at her. Cassandra let Nikki know that she plans to take slop in place of Joel. She said she will not tell Joel that she is going to do it beforehand. Cassandra explained that she does not want anything back from Joel in exchange for doing it. Cassandra told Nikki that the brothers were laughing at her earlier. Nikki said they don’t understand that people are going to put them up and they have no chance to play for the PoV. Nikki felt as though they had been acting smug.
11:00-12:00 PM: Jared and Kelsey spoke in the bedroom about how Jared should go about campaigning to Tim. Kelsey told Jared that he can admit that he has been wary of Tim and let him know the reasons why. She said to let Tim know that they were genuinely on board with the Final 4 deal that they made but people came to him and told him things about Tim. Kelsey said Tim wants people to own up to what they are doing and tell him the truth. Jared wanted to pointed out that Tim is the only person whose hand he has shook and that means something to him. He added that it’s time for Tim to practice what he preaches by helping a deserving Canadian get to the end.
12:00-1:00 PM: In the HoH room, Nikki told Cassandra that if she is the jury house she will make it clear that she is having the final say in who wins the game. Cassandra told her to vote for her if she is the Final 2. Nikki said ideally it would be Cassandra or Joel. Cassandra said she feels that they have played the best games. Cassandra mentioned that she may not be able to win because a number of the jurors hate her. Nikki said she will be in charge of the jury house once she gets there. Nikki then spoke to Tim and told him how she will make sure that she has the final say in who wins the game once she gets to the jury house. Nikki said it will be Cassandra, Joel or Tim who win. Tim figured that it would be Joel who wins. Nikki said she would love that. Nikki told Tim that she would never allow Kelsey to win the game.
1:00-2:00 PM: Cassandra was alone in the HoH room. Tim joined her. She let Tim know that she cannot leave the room or else she is going to call Kelsey out. She felt as though Kelsey had been making stuff up. She mentioned having to get up and leave during an earlier talk between Joel and Kelsey due to that. Cassandra said that Kelsey is the phoniest person in the house. Tim said everything became clear last week when Jared and Kelsey showed that they were prepared to work with people who had been nasty to them like Maddy had been. They discussed next week’s plan to evict Nikki in the event that Kelsey or the brothers win HoH and they win the PoV. Tim said he will be happy to let Nikki know that Cassandra, Joel and himself have been together as far back as when she voted with the other side in order to evict Dallas. Cassandra said it would be perfect if it came down to the two of them, Joel, Kelsey and Nikki in the Final 5. Tim agreed but wasn’t sure that it would be that easy. Tim said he would not be surprised if Big Brother gave the brothers a secret veto because they want them in the finals. Tim said he wants the story of the game to be that the people who were cast of by the strong players got together and became strong themselves. He said their three is stronger than Jared, Kelsey and Raul were and beat them.
2:00-3:00 PM: Cassandra told Tim that jury will be a hate Cassandra fest. Tim said she will have to turn that around. He advised her not to let them take credit for what they haven’t done in the game. Tim suggested that she show that she had her alliance and was true to it. They discussed that they are well positioned in the game and could save themselves even if they don’t win HoH next week. Cassandra worried that one of them would end up on the block next to Joel instead of Nikki. She felt that it would be best for Joel to stay close to the brothers in order to avoid going on the block if they win HoH. Cassandra told Tim that she is going on slop in place of Joel starting tomorrow. She said she can explain that she needs a diet anyway and it is a way of thanking Joel for everything that he has done for her. Cassandra told Tim that he had better take her to the Final 2 over Joel. Tim assured Cassandra that he would take her even though it might mean that she wins. He said that is his promise to her.
3:00-4:00 PM: Nikki was crying in the HoH room. Cassandra encouraged her to stay strong and told her that her family is so proud of her. She let Nikki know that as soon as the brothers and Kelsey are out of the HoH competition that Joel and Tim will be throwing it to her and she will get a letter from home. Nikki said she doubts herself all the time and has since she has been 8 years old. Cassandra pointed out that the whole country loves her for being her. Cassandra told Nikki not to let insecure people bring her down. Cassandra said that the two of them, Joel and Tim will be standing strong in the Final 4. She said they will get the others out and not let them make Nikki feel like this again. Nikki brought up that eight weeks away is the longest that she has ever done. She said she got evicted on Week 8 the last time and that is all she can handle. Nikki told Tim that she asked Cassandra to have her sent home over Jared. Cassandra and Tim explained that someone they don’t want to win will win the game if that happens. Tim pointed out that they are now reaching a point where they can have a big impact on the game and she cannot go home before that. Nikki explained that she is doubting herself because she feels like a leper and an outcast. Tim assured her that she is not one even though those on the other side had used her up until now. Out by the hot tub, Joel and Kelsey chatted. Kelsey said Nikki hasn’t really had to fight for her life which is something that bothers her. Joel said you respect the people who are fighting for their lives and want to be there. Kelsey pointed out that Nikki has said many times that she doesn’t want to be there. Kelsey found it tough to accept that someone like that could stay over someone like Jared. Joel agreed. Kelsey said Nikki is fun and brings a great energy to the house but she doesn’t like that Nikki gets to go to the end over people like Dallas who were fighting hard to be there. Joel said it is almost a disservice to the game. He told Kelsey it often happens that someone ends up in the Final 3 or 4 without caring the whole time. He said it’s frustrating as a fan and as a player of the game. Kelsey told Joel that she wouldn’t want to win over Nikki at the end because it would feel like such a cop out. She said she would not want to take away from one of her fellow houseguests by bringing Nikki to the end. Joel added that it is more satisfying to beat someone who was really really good and gave their best.
4:00-5:00 PM: Kelsey told Joel that if she were to end up on the block with Nikki it would hurt to know that people would vote her out over Nikki because it was easy. Kelsey said it would almost be taking the cowardly route to send Jared out over Nikki. Joel said yeah. After Kelsey left, Joel said to himself that it is really going to break Jared’s heart when he finds out that he has turned on him. Joel mentioned that he will need to somehow smooth it over with Kelsey. Joel informed Cassandra that he had a long talk with Kelsey and he sat there and said “yeah” and “I see your point” in response to what Kelsey was pitching to him. Joel told Cassandra that Phil said he would give the next HoH to him, though he figured that Phil was joking around. Joel thought that they may still think that he is in with them for some reason. He said he suggested that Phil tell Nick to give HoH to him as well. Joel said he would like to subtly hint to Nick that it would be fair to give HoH to him. Joel found it funny that Jared and Kelsey commented on people being excessively nice to others, like they accused Tim of doing, when Kelsey has been doing that to him of late now that she needs his vote to save Jared. Cassandra said the biggest mistake that people make in the game is thinking that they are better than other people. Joel circled back to his desire to want to tell Nick to throw HoH to him. He figured that the brothers would feel safe with him in power. Cassandra agreed. Joel said the brothers would be on the block right away if they threw HoH to him. He told Cassandra that there is nothing they could say to him to sway him and prevent him from putting them up. Kelsey found it funny that Kelsey thinks that she is fooling Joel into working with her side.
7:00-8:00 PM: Jared asked Tim where his head is at right now. Tim said it’s about setting up for next week. He pointed out that the brothers obviously were the target and he does not believe a word that they have said. Tim told Jared that he has to work out what Joel wants to do as well. Tim said there is an argument for both sides but at the moment it seems like he would be the only one to vote Jared out. Jared figured that he would leave 100% if it came down to a tie breaking vote. Jared said his argument to save himself is that Tim told him that Nikki is the only person who could beat him. He added that Tim was in his position last week and he shook Tim’s hand and told him he has his vote. Jared said he has really earned his spot there. Tim agreed. Tim said he feels loyal to Cassandra. He also mentioned that Cassandra and Joel were the ones who stood by him and saved him last week so he is waiting to hear from Joel before making a decision. Tim wanted to know what would happen moving forward should Jared stay. Jared said Cassandra needs to make amends with him. He felt as though Cassandra has been rude to him. Jared made it clear that he is upset with Cassandra but not with Tim. Tim explained that Cassandra wants to win and she doesn’t think that she could ever beat Jared. At the end of the discussion, Jared asked that Tim let him know beforehand even if it is bad news. Tim said they would talk again before Thursday. Tim headed to the HoH room. Cassandra and Nikki wanted to know what Jared had said to him. Tim said Jared asked what he will be doing so he told Jared that he does not know yet. Nikki asked if she should go ask Kelsey what she is doing. Tim explained that he wanted Jared to say that he is happy to work together next week to go against the brothers. Tim knew that Jared would be too scared to do that. He pointed out that they could then bring that information back to the brothers and cost Jared a vote if he ever were to say it. Tim thinks that Joel will side with them over Jared, Kelsey and the brothers because he knows that he will be the fourth on the other side if he chooses them. Cassandra thanked Tim for sticking up for her by saying to Jared that she does not think that she can beat him at the end. As for Nikki, Tim encouraged her not to get down with regards to people saying that she does not deserve it. He said that no one strategy is more deserving than another. He told Nikki that what is brilliant about how long she has lasted in the game is that she does not have a strategy at all.
8:00-9:00 PM: Kelsey and Phil chatted by the hot tub. Kelsey asked Phil if he could imagine Cassandra, Nikki and Tim being at the end together. Phil said he would refuse to vote for a winner if that were to be the case. Phil added that he would be crushed that their season is represented by those three. Phil advised Kelsey to make some kind of crazy deal with Joel such as saying that both she and Jared will drop out of the Final 4 HoH competition immediately in order to allow either he or the brothers to win. Kelsey headed inside and Nick joined Phil. Phil told Nick that he will tell Joel his point of view and manipulate him to be a man and keep Jared. The brothers discussed that Joel thinks he is tight with Cassandra even though he really isn’t. They agreed that Joel would be hesitant to keep Jared because of how close Jared is with Kelsey and themselves. Phil thought that they would have to tell Joel in front of Jared and Kelsey that they would team up with him to go against Jared and Kelsey at that point. Phil told Nick that he believes they are in a good position even though they cannot play in the veto competition. He thinks that Cassandra would not nominate them again and would not vote them out after what she did this week.
10:00-11:00 PM: Kelsey claimed that Cassandra nominated the one person who they had both been working with up until that point. Cassandra explained that she had very few options. She told Kelsey that Tim would take her to the end so she could not nominate him. She said she would not nominate Kelsey and then did not want to nominate Joel after he fought so hard in the veto competition. Kelsey suggested that Joel could have gone on the block because he would not have gone home. Kelsey was not happy that Jared could be going home over someone like Nikki. Kelsey said she would rather finish second place behind anyone than win first place over Nikki. She also voiced her frustration that Tim would keep Nikki over Jared when he claims to want to see the best player win. Cassandra pointed out that she cannot beat Jared. Kelsey disagreed and said she very well could. Cassandra said her only chance to win the game is by making a big move like this. She listed off Raul, Mitch and Kelsey as sure votes for Jared if he is at the end with her. As for keeping Jared, Cassandra said that Jared, Kelsey and the brothers would then target both her and Tim. Kelsey continually said that it would not have been that way had this not happened. She said that Cassandra put Jared in this position and he has no choice but to fight for his life now. Cassandra played it off as though Jared would have the votes anyway. Cassandra told Kelsey that Jared would win his way to the end and not take her. Kelsey claimed that Jared would have. Cassandra said not over Kelsey.
Kelsey brought up that Cassandra pissed off the brothers and Jared this week. Cassandra replied by saying that Jared can go then if she pissed him off. Cassandra brought up how Jared thinks that she cannot think for herself and feels as though he forced her to nominate the brothers. Kelsey said Jared did not want the brothers up. Cassandra said that’s because they are working with the brothers. Cassandra questioned where she fits in if Jared is with the brothers too. After Cassandra had mentioned that Jared cannot be beaten at the end, Kelsey said she has enough confidence in herself to know that any one of us them can win. Cassandra told her to have confidence in herself then. She said what she has gotten out of the conversations with Jared and Kelsey is that she cannot think for herself and she does not have confidence in herself. Cassandra then walked out. Cassandra filled Joel in on her talk with Kelsey. She said that what she got out of it is that Kelsey and the brothers are coming after her hard. Cassandra asked Joel if she made a mistake because Kelsey called this the dumbest move of the game. Joel questioned what Kelsey knows. He said it’s a smart move to get the strongest players out, adding that that’s the idea of the game and Kelsey does not get it. He figured that every past houseguest is watching and saying that they would be idiots to leave Jared in the game. Cassandra assured Joel that she is voting Jared out 100%. However, Cassandra admitted to being scared for next week. Joel told her that Kelsey and the brothers should be more scared because they are outnumbered.
