BBCAN4 Day 67
May 2, 2016
8:00-9:00 AM: Cassandra asked Tim to help her this week. Tim said all he has to say is that she cannot tell lies. Tim asked if she has ever thought of telling the truth. Tim figured that people are thinking of keeping Joel because they believe that he cannot win since they underestimate him. Tim said the same attitude that has kept Joel protected is the same attitude that will give him the win if he makes it to the end. Tim told Cassandra to point out to Kelsey that Jared would not have gone home if Joel had not tricked them. He also said there would have been no Threak Show if Joel didn’t trick them, which means that they would have stuck with Jared and Kelsey. Cassandra again told Tim to talk to the brothers for her. Tim told Cassandra to say that he doesn’t hold grudges and that he will still work with Joel if he stays because Joel is the misfit and is his winner. Tim said he always forgives and forgets as long as people admit to what they have done.
9:00-10:00 AM: Joel spoke to Tim and told him that he wasn’t trying to mess things up but he thinks he did. Joel wondered if it would be better to leave and give Cassandra and Tim a fighting chance. Tim told Joel not to be silly. Tim said Joel has not lost the game yet. Joel said everyone will be against him it he stays. Tim let Joel know that he doesn’t hold grudges and he will not be against him. Tim said he always thought that Joel was 100% with them but maybe it was just too much pressure in the moment. Joel explained that he feels he is the reason for their demise. Tim said that’s not true. They discussed that the others are likely voting for Joel to stay. Joel said he always wanted it to be the three of them staying together and he wishes that he would have shown his cards and picked a side in the competition. Joel asked Tim who has a better chance of taking Kelsey or the brothers out next week. Tim said he doesn’t know. Joel figured that he would not be able to get jury votes against anyone at this point. Tim said Joel would likely beat both he and the brothers. Joel said the only way to keep Cassandra in the game is for him to walk out because Kelsey and the brothers will not change their minds. Joel said he is really torn about what to do. Joel told tim that he is not confident in his ability to get to the end. Tim said he isn’t sure that that’s it, because Joel would be unlikely to make the same decision if it were Nikki on the block. Joel said people always warned him to watch out for Cassandra but he has always thought that she was loyal to him. He didn’t want to find out afterwards that that was untrue.
Elsewhere, Cassandra spoke to Kelsey in the HoH room. Kelsey asked why Joel is thinking about leaving. Cassandra mentioned that Joel told her to put the brothers up, to put Jared up and to use the PoV on Tim so he realizes that she is in this position due to listening to him and protecting him. Kelsey said she feels for Joel but this is the game that he signed up to play. Cassandra said Joel knows that he is probably finishing in third or fourth unless Tim wins. Kelsey wasn’t sure if Joel is truly feeling the way that he is telling them he is or if he is playing some type of angle. Cassandra said Joel told her that he doesn’t want to keep playing without her because she has been his only friend. Cassandra told Kelsey that Tim will work with Joel if he stays because Joel has been his winner due to being the misfit. Kelsey asked Cassandra who she would vote to win between Joel and Tim. Kelsey said she would vote for Joel. Cassandra said she thinks that everyone would vote for Joel. She added that Joel would win hands down over anyone. Kelsey wasn’t buying that. Cassandra figured that Joel is worried that she is close to Kelsey and may get her vote in the event of a tie so he is working on Tim. Cassandra reiterated that Tim will work with Joel because that is his winner and he doesn’t agree with her gameplay. The girls continued to wonder whether or not Joel is faking it this week. Cassandra told Kelsey that everyone will vote Joel to win because it’s Joel and it’s his dream. She pointed out that the nerdy guy won over the pretty blonde girl who was friends with everyone during Big Brother 17. Kelsey told Cassandra to talk to the brothers and tell them everything that she just told her.
10:00-11:00 AM: Joel worried about how he was being perceived on the outside when he is 33 years old and struggling like this. Tim told him to focus on himself and what feels right to him. Tim said age is just a number and Joel cannot live in a prison that he created for himself. Tim mentioned that some of the happiest times for Joel in the house seemed to be when he was chatting with Loveita. Tim asked why that was. Joel said Loveita is somebody that was an outsider and the weirdo because she didn’t feel comfortable around people. Joel explained that he felt that way as a kid. Joel and Tim agreed that Loveita was misunderstood. Tim asked Joel what Loveita’s advice would be right now. Tim figured that Loveita would not want Joel to give up his spot for Cassandra.
11:00-12:00 AM: Kelsey told the brothers that Cassandra said Tim will take Joel to the end because he is his winner. Phil said everything that Cassandra says to Kelsey is campaigning. Kelsey disagreed and said she can tell when Cassandra is campaigning. Phil said it would be the biggest mistake Kelsey has ever made in her life if she were to keep Cassandra. Kelsey said she is not keeping Cassandra. She told the brothers that they at least have to hear Cassandra out though. They both immediately said no. Nick said Cassandra doesn’t deserve her time. Phil figured that Tim would be telling Cassandra what to say. Kelsey said she is not keeping Cassandra so there is no harm in them hearing her out. They said no. Kelsey pointed out that Joel could win but Cassandra cannot. Nick said Joel wont win and they can get him out next week. Phil said neither of them would lose to Joel. Phil told Kelsey that she will be the laughing stock of everything if she keeps Cassandra. The brothers told Kelsey that everything Cassandra does is for game. Phil said that Cassandra can win the game if she makes it to the end because there will be someone like Dan or Dr. Will talking to the jury and getting them to realize that Cassandra played a strong game. Nick said Cassandra would beat them and may beat Kelsey. Phil said Cassandra would definitely win against Kelsey. Kelsey told the brothers that they are so annoying and she hates when they say that she cannot win the game. Phil told Kelsey that she could beat them. Kelsey told Phil to shut up. The brothers then tried to clear the air with Kelsey about what they had said.
1:00-2:00 PM: Joel told Cassandra it makes more sense for the others to keep her over him. Cassandra asked why it makes more sense to keep her. Joel explained that Tim may be serious about all bets being off, she is a solo player and is not a threat. Cassandra said they are in the same boat. Joel said it sucks because he always believed that they would be able to make it to the end together after working together from the start. Cassandra said she doesn’t know how to get out of this because the brothers wont even look at her. Joel said the brothers are taking it to a personal level and it is really aggravating him. Joel told Cassandra he is fine with whatever she needs to do to stay. Cassandra said she thinks that Joel figured out that he is not yet ready to leave. Joel explained he could not live with himself if he just walked out the door. He said it kills him because he knows how badly Cassandra wants this. However, Joel said that he does not want to walk out the door without doing everything in his power to stay in the game.
2:00-3:00 PM: Cassandra told Tim that Joel said she should campaign as much as she needs to in order to stay because she deserves it more. Tim wondered if he is serious. He suggested that Cassandra and Joel come up with some sort of lie together. However, he did not want to be the one to come up with the lie. Cassandra asked Tim how his talk with the brothers went. Tim said he has only been laying down the groundwork thus far. He told Cassandra that he really doesn’t want to be involved. He explained that she is asking him to be involved with her fate when he said at the veto ceremony that her fate is in her own hands. Tim advised Cassandra to be real and not tell any lies, perhaps even stroking the ego of the brothers. Tim thought that it would come down to getting the brothers on board with joining them as a three instead of working with Kelsey. Cassandra didn’t think that they would be willing to do so. She said that the brothers wont even be in the same room as her right now. Tim told her to work on that first rather than talking game because what has got her in trouble is that she overplays.
3:00-4:00 PM: Cassandra told Kelsey that if she keeps her around she will go after Tim over the brothers and Kelsey next week. Kelsey said Cassandra’s big thing has been that she cannot win competitions. Cassandra said she could win a mental competition or else she will be back on the block and get evicted next week. Kelsey said it’s the thing as with Joel. Cassandra said Tim is going to go to the end with Joel. Kelsey wasn’t sure that Tim actually knows what he wants to do. Cassandra told Kelsey not to be the one to send her home when they have worked together all along. Kelsey said Cassandra knows the reasons why she has to send her home. She listed off that Cassandra got Jared out, Tim will always take Cassandra over her and Joel now does not have as good of a shot at winning the game. Kelsey said it’s better to get the strategic superfan out. Cassandra pointed out that that’s Joel. Cassandra told Kelsey that they can go to the end together and Kelsey would definitely have the votes to win over her. She explained that if Joel hadn’t tricked her then maybe Joel would be gone right now instead of Jared. Kelsey said that the brothers and Jared would want her head if she were to keep Cassandra in the game. Cassandra disagreed and said that she and Jared will still be BFFs after this. Cassandra asked Kelsey what would happen if she convinces the brothers. Kelsey said that she wont be able to do that. Cassandra promised to side with Kelsey and the brothers while she insisted that Joel and Tim would work together moving forward.
6:00-7:00 PM: Cassandra told Tim that she is being honest with Kelsey and is giving her the facts. She said she let Kelsey know that she would be indebted to her if she were to keep her. Tim said not really since Cassandra would still be working with her. Cassandra said if Tim wins HoH then he would put Kelsey and the brothers up and she could vote the brothers out. Cassandra told Tim to speak to Kelsey later. Tim said he would let Kelsey know that he has always had reservations about Cassandra because he thought that she and Joel would have each other’s backs over his. Cassandra mentioned that Kelsey suspects that Joel and Tim are the closest of the three of them. Cassandra said she told Kelsey that Joel was Tim’s winner and has now admitted to what he did so Tim and Joel can continue working together moving forward. Tim said he will hint that he is thinking about voting Cassandra out this week so that Kelsey and the brothers think that he is really willing to work with Joel. Tim advised Cassandra not to tell Joel about the progress that she is making because he may end up wanting to stay.
10:00-11:00 PM: Cassandra spoke to Nick and teared up. She said that despite what has happened in the game, she hopes that they can still be friends afterwards. Nick said of course. Cassandra told him that she will not be saying this to Phil. She said the two of them have always had a good connection and Nick opened up to her about something personal. Nick assured Cassandra that they will be friends and that they can talk afterwards, From a game standpoint, Nick said the fight at the dinner table on Friday was the last straw. Cassandra told Tim about her talk and how she was tearing up. Cassandra said they were real tears but Tim said it was real acting. Tim said Cassandra is evil and he doesn’t think that she knows what is real or fake anymore. Elsewhere, Nick told Phil that he needs to back off of Kelsey when Joel is the in the rom. Nick said Phil was all over Kelsey and he could see that Joel was thinking that they would never take him to the Final 2. Nick also let Phil know about his talk with Cassandra.
1:00-2:00 AM: Cassandra told Tim that Joel said he is not going to campaign but he is outside talking to Phil. Cassandra asked Tim to talk to the brothers tomorrow. She said that tomorrow is the day. Tim agreed. Cassandra and Tim agreed that Nick likes Kelsey. Cassandra thought that Phil likes her too. Nick spoke to Phil about how much he is hanging out with Kelsey. He told Phil not to throw away their game over Kelsey. Phil brought up that the nominations do not matter next week because the PoV decides everything at the Final 4. Phil said it’s hilarious how dumb Nick sounds right now. Cassandra headed outside to talk to Joel. Cassandra said that Kelsey is going to make it to the end of the game. She said she is frustrated because she knows that she can get to Final 2 if she makes it past this week. She said there is already a plan in place to get Joel out next week. Cassandra pointed out that she took all of the blame the whole time for the Threak Show. Cassandra told Joel that Tim isn’t even helping her at all this week and he would not work with her if she stayed. Joel asked if Cassandra thinks that Kelsey would win over the brothers in the end. Cassandra said yeah but she is just trying to get through this week. Cassandra mentioned that Joel and Tim could have worked together in the competition and then they all would have been safe. Joel admitted that he screwed up. Cassandra said it doesn’t matter because she is the one who is going home now. Joel said he doesn’t know what else to say other that he is sorry and he hopes that she doesn’t hold it against him. Cassandra brought up how the Threak Show suggested moves for her and told her that she would be fine and now she is in this position. Joel said that she did not have to make those moves if she didn’t want to. He told Cassandra that he owes a lot to her because he would not have made it here without her. Joel said that he would never vote for Kelsey to win the game. Cassandra asked Joel who he would try to get out next. He said he would try to get Kelsey out and then the brothers, bringing Tim to the end. Joel said going to the end with Tim would give him his best chance at winning and even if he didn’t win it would go to someone who he respects. Cassandra asked what story Joel is telling the brothers. Joel said that he is loyal to them.
