BBCAN4 Day 71 - Nick wins the Power of Veto
May 6, 2016
9:00-10:00 AM: Gary entered the house to inform the houseguests that the Big Brother Canada awards will be taking place today. Gary said that he will be staying the houseguests. He let them know that there are clothes waiting for them in the HoH room.
10:00-11:00 AM: Feeds went down for the Big Brother Canada awards.
5:00-6:00 PM: The live feeds returned following the Big Brother Canada awards. The houseguests were getting ready for the nomination ceremony. Phil told Kelsey that he is putting her up for eviction. Kelsey asked why. Phil said that he is just kidding. Phil mentioned that the nominations don’t mean anything since the person who wins the PoV will end up being the one who is not on the block.
6:00-7:00 PM: Nick and Phil headed to the bedroom to speak to Cassandra and Tim. Phil informed the two that they will be going on the block. Tim said they knew that was going to happen. Nick explained that it doesn’t mean anything and that it could have been picked out of a hat. Phil added that it is all about the Power of Veto. Nick said everyone has a fighting chance and he will be fighting too. Shortly thereafter, the feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
2:00-3:00 AM: Feeds returned following the veto competition. Nick won the Power of Veto. He told Kelsey that she will have the lone vote this week. Nick said that Cassandra will be campaigning so hard. Kelsey said there is absolutely no way that Cassandra will be able to sway her.
3:00-4:00 AM: Phil told Kelsey he is pretty pumped and it is a surreal feeling. Kelsey asked Phil what he thinks is going to happen. Phil said he would guess that the eviction is going to be on Sunday. Tim stopped by the HoH room. He said that he doesn’t know what to do around Cassandra. They discussed that it was already decided that Cassandra would be leaving due to their treaty deal. Tim figured that Cassandra would try to get him to self evict. Tim asked the others to remind him how much Cassandra has been prepared to work against him at other points in the game. Nick said she did it before the veto competition by saying to throw the PoV and she will evict Tim. Kelsey said there is not even a little bit of a chance that Cassandra could talk her into keeping her.
4:00-5:00 AM: Nick told Tim that the boys need him their from a friendship standpoint because they will lose their minds if Cassandra and Kelsey are there. Kelsey said that they should not even entertain what Cassandra approaches them about this week. She explained that they made a deal and she is not going back on it. Tim said he could not support someone going on that he doesn’t think could win and that he doesn’t necessarily want to win over Kelsey and the brothers. Tim pointed out that the Threeak Show died last week and letting Cassandra stay would mean that he is supporting something that he doesn’t believe in. Cassandra walked in. She asked what they are talking about. Tim said whether or not he is going to walk. Cassandra said he will not do it. After Cassandra left, Tim said Cassandra would be asking him to do the opposite of what she would do to him if he were to give up his game for her. Tim told Nick and Phil that they have become one of the greats and people will look at them like the brothers look at Jon Pardy. He told them that they have earned their way to this point.
Tim headed to bed. Cassandra said she knows that Tim will not walk away from the game for her so she wants to know what his motive is behind talking to Kelsey and the brothers as if he might do it. Tim said he wants to be okay with his decision and it’s not always about what she wants. He explained that he wants to consider all options. Cassandra feels that Tim always ends up doing what he wants to do from the start. Cassandra brought up how Tim said he didn’t want to win and wanted to help the best players get to the end. Tim said the others that he will be standing with at the end are good players in their own right. Cassandra told Tim that there is always something and she thinks that he saw her as an idiot all along. Tim said not at all and that none of this is a surprise since the three of them had made a decision going into the week. Tim pointed out that this is not a betrayal and asked Cassandra not to ruin a great game that they have played together. Tim said he is playing on because he has earned his place there and he is not going to give up his spot for someone who may not win. Cassandra said she does not want him to do that. She wanted to know what Tim is going to do. He said he already decided that he is not going give up his spot. Cassandra asked Tim to act like her friend right now. He pointed out that he is in the room with her right now because he is her friend.
