BBCAN4 - Paige Distranski Exit Interview

March 4, 2016

Even though you were told that you were a pawn, you did not feel good about it. That being said, how surprised were you when the results of the vote were revealed?

Paige: I was actually really shocked. The first two days I was on the block was fine. I had a solid vote. The day of the eviction and the day before the eviction, I could feel a weird vibe and people were talking and it felt weird. I was unsure going into it and I was so shocked.

You mentioned that things got off to a bad start for you on night one. Can you expand on that?

Paige: When I went into the house, there was just all these strangers. It was just a new experience and I was overwhelmed. None of them I felt comfortable with and none of them I was connecting with, so it was hard to fake it for me. I couldn’t fake a friendship with any of them, so it was hard and I guess people saw it as me being reserved or standoffish. I think that was what really hurt my game.

Which houseguests did you eventually connect with and feel that you would have been able to work with moving forward?

Paige: I was actually in an alliance with Ramsey. Me and him were so close, right from the beginning. He has sisters and he felt comfortable with me and I felt comfortable with him. We made an alliance right away and we were just playing it really low key. Houseguests had no idea that we had even spoken at all, but we were actually probably the closest alliance in the house.

Are there any specific alliances that you saw forming during your time in the house?

Paige: Sharry and Loveita are very close and I think they will stay that way. Obviously Kelsey and Jared are very close. Maddy and Nick are becoming closer and closer every day. They kind of have like a showmance going on. Cassandra and Christine are also super super close, so I think those are the alliances for now.

Which houseguests do you feel are most responsible for your eviction?

Paige: Oh definitely Jared, and Kelsey obviously. They were campaigning so hard against me. I think Jared just had a way with his words and people obviously bought into it, so Jared and Kelsey were probably the main people that brought down my game.

What did you see in Dallas and Sharry that makes you believe that they could win the game?

Paige: Sharry is just so strong minded and she is super physically strong as well. In competitions she is going to dominate and she also has a way with her words, so she can manipulate people with her words. Dallas is just goofy and everyone wants to be around him right now. Nobody wants to see him go, cause he brings so much energy to the house. I think he is just going to play that card and fly under the radar and no one is going to target him until the end.

Had you been in the house when the international wildcards entered, would you have tried to align with them or would you have wanted to target them?

Paige: It’s hard to say, just cause I don’t know their personalities, but I would think I wouldn’t want to align with Nikki cause she seems so explosive. I think I would just stick with the girls that I had and we would probably target her. Tim, I don’t know, I might have been in an alliance with him just because it would be so unexpected and we are such different personality types. I think it would have been a really secret alliance and it could have gone far.

Though your stay was short, what was your favourite part about the whole experience?

Paige: My favourite part was probably just seeing it from a different perspective and being inside the house and meeting all of the other houseguests. I love the competitions and dressing up for them. It’s just so unique and I loved being a part of it.
