BBCAN5 Day 19 - Gary discusses keeping Cassandra

March 29, 2017

10:00-11:00 AM: Jackie told Sindy that she walked in on Cassandra, Dre and Ika talking. She said everyone went silent and glared at her. Jackie said they only need Karen’s vote and then Cassandra will be staying. Sindy reassured Jackie that that Karen will be voting to evict Cassandra. Jackie told Sindy that Ika confronted her about telling people she said that Cassandra was trying to rally votes the other night. Jackie said she left names out of it. Jackie said being on the block sucks but it is letting her see where the loyalty of some people truly lies. Jackie pointed out that she was working with the same group of people as Cassandra, and those people are siding with Cassandra over her. Sindy said they will likely come back to her once Cassandra leaves. Jackie thinks those people figure that she his no longer with them because she is talking to everyone. Jackie said she is doing that in order to ensure she has their votes. Sindy again said Jackie is not going home this week. Jackie feels confident that she has William’s vote. In the bedroom, Kevin told Bruno that Dre and Karen will nominate them. Bruno said Gary would likely nominate him but maybe not nominate Kevin. Kevin doesn’t think that Gary would nominate him. Bruno said Gary is going around giving the same speech to everyone, saying nobody will see it coming if they work together. Kevin said William may even put him on the block. Kevin is concerned that not once during his talk with William did he say he would not put him. They agreed that they are good with Dillon and Emily. Kevin said he trusts Ika and Demetres. Bruno said he does too but he hopes that they are not making side deals. They discussed that those two are in a great spot and they may throw HoH because of it. Bruno let Kevin know that Jackie said the two of them are the only two people that she trusts.

11:00-12:00 PM: In the bathroom, Ika told Dre that Sindy overheard Gary asking Dre how to say “the” and “five” in French, before saying that’s what they are. Ika asked if it’s true. Dre said it’s true but it doesn’t mean anything. Ika said people now think Dre and Gary are in on a five person alliance. Dre told Ika she wants to pull Sindy in and tell her not to keep opening her mouth when she is working with Kevin and Bruno. Ika said she is not telling Dre anything ever again after seeing how she reacts. Ika said Dre is turning into Ika from season two. Dre asked how Ika found out about it. Ika said Neda told her about it in attempt to get her to not trust Dre. Ika said she did not tell Gary about this. Dre wondered if she should tell Gary. Ika said Gary doesn’t handle information well. Dre asked Ika if they can keep Cassandra. Ika told Dre that she does not have any power. Ika explained that voting to keep Cassandra would hurt her game with the other side.

12:00-1:00 PM: Kevin let Neda know that Ika confronted Jackie about the five person alliance that was brought up yesterday. Kevin said Jackie knew that meant Sindy told Ika about it, because she knew Bruno wouldn’t have. Kevin said Jackie apparently trusts him and Bruno. Neda said Jackie is sketchy. Kevin said Jackie all over the place. Neda said La Cinq made their alliance so obvious by speaking so loudly. Neda thinks Dre has pulled Jackie back in. She told Kevin that Jackie will still likely go after Bruno and Kevin. Neda said she is going to nominate Gary if a crazy twist happens that saves Cassandra. Neda hopes they can get rid of Gary, Dre and Jackie in that order. She pointed out that Jackie has stopped talking game with her. Neda said Ika should not have confronted Jackie. Kevin said Dillon and Emily are totally on board with them. Neda agreed. She let Kevin know about the Black and Saints alliance name that they came up with. Neda said not to tell Demetres, Ika or Sindy about the alliance name. She feared it would sketch them out to know that the alliance has a name. In the bathroom, Dre told Jackie she has not tried to flip the votes despite what Jackie is saying. Jackie said that was put in to her head but she thinks she has Dre and William’s votes due to their relationship at the beginning of the game. Dre explained that she did not campaign. Jackie said she isn’t saying that Dre is campaigning. Dre said her name was in Jackie’s mouth and she believes she mentioned her name to other houseguests. Dre thinks she will be targeted next week because of that. Jackie told Dre she has bene talking to the other side in order to secure their votes, not to create new alliances. Dre said she doesn’t believe that Jackie did not put her name out there. In the kitchen, Gary and Ika discussed the votes. Gary said Karen will vote with them to keep Cassandra. Ika asked if Gary is sure. Gary said 100%. Ika worried that Karen would claim they forced her to do it. Gary said Karen does not want to play Neda’s game. Ika said she doesn’t either. Gary told Ika that he is not playing Neda’s game, which is why they are voting for Cassandra to stay. Gary said the other side is going to gag. Gary told Ika he feels good about this move. He said they should not play stupid. Gary explained that it’s clear split in the house and they have the numbers if they go with this side. Ika called Cassandra stressful. Gary said they will tell her to calm down. Ika asked if Gary is sure she will not go around spreading any more lies about her. Gary said yes. He added that they will sit Cassandra down and say they are keeping her only under a few conditions. Ika asked if she should talk to Demetres. Gary said her only job is to work on Demetres. Gary suggested they should keep this plan between the two of them for now. Gary said Cassandra will keep going on the block since she will drive everyone crazy. Ika said the house will be pissed at the two of them since they are the two biggest personalities on this side. Gary asked if Ika would prefer they go after William and Dre first, then they targeted right after. Ika said she is scared she will go home. Gary told Ika to change her attitude. Gary pointed out that Ika played it cool and went with the house on her previous season, which is something that didn’t work out.

1:00-2:00 PM: After speaking with Gary, Ika headed to the bedroom. She told Demetres that Gary told her they have to keep Cassandra. Dre then interrupted before Ika could say anything more. Dre said they are not keeping Cassandra. Ika asked why. Dre said “because we can’t”. After Dre left, Ika said she hates Jackie. Ika said they can both go. Ika told Demetres that Gary said Jackie has been taking noodles from the kitchen and using her eyelash glue to stick them on something in order to make herself a study guide for the days. Dre returned. Ika asked what Jackie said to her. Dre said Jackie told her she didn’t know where her head is at since she saw her hanging out with Cassandra. Ika said she cannot stand Jackie. Ika mentioned that Cassandra and Jackie both have big mouths. Dre agreed. Ika wants Dre to speak to Gary. Dre said she will not go tell Gary that she is not keeping Cassandra, given that he went to Neda to tell her that she is campaigning to keep Cassandra. Ika said Gary thinks she and Demeteres are the reason why Cassandra doesn’t have the votes. Dre said she doesn’t care and they can take some blame. Dre told Ika that she will let Gary know about her vote just prior to the eviction on Thursday. Dre asked if Ika thinks they should keep Cassandra. Ika said no. After Dre left, Demetres told Ika it’s good that Dre is not voting for Cassandra. Demetres said they would be so screwed if they kept Cassandra, because Dillon and Emily would take their spot in the six. Ika agreed. She said the problem with this side of the house is that they are untrustworthy aside from William and Dre.

6:00-7:00 PM: Feeds returned after being down for over four hours. Ika told Dre she would consider voting to keep Cassandra if Demetres changes his mind. Dre said they could teach Gary a lesson for talking behind her back. She suggested telling Gary that they are voting to keep Cassandra, only to vote her out and leave Gary as her only vote. Gary joined them. Ika asked if they want to keep Cassandra. Gary said he doesn’t know anymore. Ika told Gary he flip flops with his emotions way too much. Gary explained that you have to do it in order to know how you really feel when the time comes to make the decision. Ika said it seems Gary had his mind made up yet now he doesn’t know what he wants. Gary said he is not the leader. Ika told him he needs to lead them. Gary said he will help the discussion move in the right direction, allowing them to consider all options. However, Gary said he will not force his opinion on anyone. Gary thinks people will want to turn on the boss the moment that person starts bossing them around. Ika asked if Gary wants to keep Cassandra. He said he knows Cassandra would not come after him. Ika asked if he thinks Demetres would come after. Gary said he would when the time is right. Ika argued that Demetres wouldn’t make that move until the end because he sees that she is close to Gary. Gary said Demetres seems to be strongly influenced by people other than them since he does not have an open mind when it comes to keeping Cassandra. Gary said he will not be saying anything around Demetres anymore because he does not trust him. Gary pointed out that Demetres’ mind is made up. Ika disagreed. Gary told Ika to prove him wrong then. Karen then spoke to Gary. She said it has to be six solid for them to stick their necks out. Gary said no one is solid. Karen told Gary to quit stressing her out then. Karen said Jackie was her bigger target but Cassandra tried to get her nominated too. Gary told Karen that is not factual and it is only what she has been told. Karen said Cassandra told her. Gary said that person should then deserver another chance more than someone like Jackie. Karen told Gary that Demetres and Ika are not 100% with them, meaning that they do not have the numbers. Gary said he can see Demetres going to the other side and Ika following him. After Gary left, Dre told Karen she is not opposed to what Gary said. Karen agreed, but both girls said they currently do not have the six votes needed to keep Cassandra.

7:00-8:00 PM: In the bathroom, Karen told Neda that Dre said she is becoming a target. Neda said Dre, not Karen, is becoming the target. Neda told Karen that Jackie has heard from a lot of people that Dre has been campaigning. Karen told Neda that Gary asked if she is open to changing her vote. Neda said it’s up to Karen but they will be on the wrong side of the house if they do that. Karen said Dre asked if she is playing her own game or Neda’s game. Neda said Dre, William, Gary and Cassandra have their own crew and they are sticking to the same lie that she made things up with regards to what Neda said. Karen said she keeps telling Cassandra to pack her bags. Karen clarified that Jackie is no less of a threat to her. Neda said they can focus on Jackie next week.

8:00-9:00 PM: Ika told Bruno that he cannot trust Gary because Gary is going after him. Bruno said Gary tried to make a deal with him but he did not trust him. Ika then revealed that Gary is trying to save Cassandra. Bruno said the numbers aren’t there. Ika said they would have had the votes if she and Demetres went that way. Bruno headed up to the HoH room to talk to Neda. Neda said Dre and Gary keep pulling Karen aside to tell her that she is the one who is preventing the vote flip from happening. Neda said Karen wants to go after Jackie. They discussed that they can work around Jackie and Kevin being nominated together, since they just cannot have two of their alliance members on the block. Neda told Bruno to make sure Ika is on board with nominating Dre and William, and backdooring Gary. Neda thinks Ika likes playing both sides of the house. She mentioned Ika told her that she does not want to win HoH. Bruno and Neda agreed that Dre and Gary have got to go, then they can reassess at that point. Bruno and Ika then spoke. Ika let Bruno know that Gary was telling them last night how it is best to keep Cassandra. Ika said that side thinks Bruno, Kevin, Neda, Dillon and Emily are aligned. Bruno asked if Neda told Ika about the fake five person alliance. Ika said yes. Ika then told Bruno that Dre wants to get in with him. Ika suggested making Dre feel comfortable because that would stop her from nominating Bruno. Bruno admitted he would rather have Dre on his side than against him. Ika said Dre, William, Cassandra and Karen all hate Neda. Ika mentioned they hate Jackie as well. Bruno said they should get them to hate Jackie even more since she is not coming after their allies.

9:00-10:00 PM: Kevin asked Dillon and Emily who he should nominate in the event of a double eviction. Both said he should nominate Dre and Gary. Kevin said he is leaning towards Dre and Karen. While he admitted that Karen is not a threat, Kevin said Karen is a threat to him since he is #1 on her hit list. Dillon said Kevin could always nominate Dre and Karen, then put Gary up if one of them wins the veto. Kevin agreed. Gary told Cassandra that the votes keep changing every time he puts in work to get them on her side. Cassandra said Demetres is the only one not on board at this point. Gary said he will not be putting in any more work tomorrow. Gary explained to Cassandra that she must change the way she plays if she stays. He said she can no longer go around playing the rabid dog. Cassandra agreed. Gary told Cassandra he talked to Demetres for an hour and he does not seem to be budging. Cassandra said Demetres forgets that he was almost gone week one. Gary said he will be freaking out until Cassandra stays. In the HoH room, Demetres and Ika discussed that Gary doesn’t trust Demetres. They agreed Gary still would not put him on the block. Ika said Gary doesn’t mind that she likes Demetres, but he wants her to like him more than she likes Demetres. Ika told Demetres she is trying to prevent Dre from going after Bruno and vice versa. Ika pointed out that Dillon and Emily are going to keep sliding further in the game. Demetres said The Six wont let them nominate those two. Ika said they can kiss her ass cause they wont be telling her what to do. Ika told Demetres she will nominate Dillon and Emily. They agreed that Dillon has to go since Neda will reel him in if not. Demetres asked if that means they are trying to win HoH. Ika said no. Ika thinks Dre winning would be a good outcome if they can get her to nominate Dillon and Kevin, cause then their alliance is forced to vote Dillon out.

10:00-11:00 PM: Cassandra pulled Ika aside to ask how her talk with Demetres went. Ika said it was good until Neda interrupted. Cassandra asked if they can get Demetres to vote for her. Ika said she thinks they can. Ika mentioned Demetres is just concerned about ending up on the wrong side of the vote if Karen isn’t being honest with Cassandra. Cassandra said she is 120% sure that she has Karen’s vote. Elsewhere, Gary let Kevin know that it does not make sense for his game to have Cassandra go. Gary added that he is not there to play Neda’s game or to go with the house. Kevin told Gary he will be his #1 ally no matter what. He advised Gary to do what is best for his game. Gary said he is working on flipping the vote. Kevin said he cannot change his vote. He acknowledged that it makes sense for Gary to try to flip it, just like it makes sense for him not to. Cassandra looked for an answer from Demetres as to whether or not he will be keeping her. She said she has the other votes confirmed. Demetres implied that they could be lying to her. He said he will talk to all of her voters tomorrow. After Cassandra left the room, Karen told Demetres that Cassandra is going home. Demetres agreed. They said they cannot be on the wrong side of the vote. Cassandra then spoke to Karen to tell her she has all of the votes except for Demetres’. Cassandra said she needs Karen to communicate that she is keeping her. Karen said she doesn’t trust that people are telling Cassandra the truth. Cassandra encouraged Karen to talk to Ika to find out.

11:00-12:00 AM: Dre let Demetres and Ika know that she is not trying to save Cassandra anymore. She said Cassandra is gone. Demetres thinks Gary will be pissed at him about the vote. Ika said she will take the blame for it by saying she is the one that doesn’t want to keep Cassandra. Ika figures that Gary will not come after her for that anyway. Dre worried that Gary would try to tell people that she tried to flip the vote for Cassandra. Dre said she will tell Gary she is not voting for Cassandra, but she wants to speak to Cassandra about it first. Karen asked Ika if she is wanting to keep Cassandra. Ika said it would put an unnecessary target on their back. Karen agreed. They said they do not want to do that. Karen told Ika that Dre sold them down the river by telling Jackie that they have been campaigning for Cassandra, which is not true. She said Jackie then took that information to Neda.

12:00-1:00 AM: Karen told Gary that Dre went to Jackie and say they were the two campaigning for Cassandra to stay. Karen said that’s not true but they have to zip it before they blow up their games. Karen told Gary she will never speak to him again if he sells her out to Dre. Gary said he wont do that. Gary pointed out that Dre is trying to make him the target. He told Karen he doesn’t even want to be fake to Dre. He thinks Dre is backtracking because she thought Cassandra would stay and now she is getting burned. Gary and Karen agreed they have to vote Cassandra out. Karen suggested they get the last laugh by telling Dre and William that Cassandra is staying, leaving those two on the wrong end of the vote and making them targets for next week. Gary said they cannot do that because people will not believe that he was not one of the votes. He said it has to be unanimous. Gary told Ika that someone might be saying he is the one campaigning for Cassandra to stay. Ika said she hasn’t heard that. Gary said Jackie is looking at him weird and Dre will not look at him. Gary said Cassandra is leaving because Demetres is not budging. Ika said Demetres told her he will vote with them if they have the votes. Gary then said he doesn’t want to keep Cassandra. They agreed that Karen doesn’t want to keep her either. Ika asked if they are solid on their side without Cassandra. Gary said it will be the two of them, Karen, William, Dre and Demetres. Gary worried William would give information to Kevin and Dre would give information to Jackie. Gary told Ika he hopes that voting out Cassandra will show that Ika is his #1. Ika said she trusted him as soon as he walked in the door.
