BBCAN5 Day 21 - Neda wins the Power of Veto
March 31, 2017
8:00-9:00 AM: Bruno told Kevin that Ika and Demetres said they voted the other way on purpose in order to make it seem like they aren’t working together. Bruno said he is not buying it. Kevin said they are just worried now. They said they would respect Ika and Demetres more if they admitted to playing both sides. Bruno and Kevin discussed that they are four weeks in and haven’t had to win an HoH yet they have avoided the block. They talked about how Gary is very convincing and acts as if each person is his only Final 2. Bruno said Gary has got to go. He pointed out Gary immediately started blaming Dre for trying to flip the vote. Kevin said it was more so Gary trying to flip it. He said Gary told him last night that he had the numbers but decided not to do it cause he wanted to help Kevin. Kevin said Gary would have kept Cassandra if he had the numbers.
9:00-10:00 AM: Neda told Sindy she thinks Ika is playing it up that she is on the other side to get information, yet those are her people and she is mad that they are getting attacked. Sindy said even Bruno pointed out that they know Ika and Demetres are with the other side but they have to remain civil. Neda agreed. She said it’s true but it sucks. Neda mentioned Ika saying she is her #1. She said she is clearly not Ika’s #1. Bruno told Jackie and Neda that Gary was claiming they had a Final 2 and Bruno betrayed him. Bruno said Gary is going to go around to everyone to say the same thing. Neda told Bruno that Ika has not talked to her since yesterday. Neda said she is confused. Neda called Ika a bad game player. Bruno said Ika and Demetres are so tight and are always whispering in bed. Neda said it has moved past whispering cause now they are hooking up. Bruno said it worked out really well for them that Dillon and Emily are now after Ika and Demetres. Bruno asked which of the two they should take out first. Neda said Ika is the scarier of the two. Neda worried that Ika would blow up all of their games. Bruno agreed.
2:00-3:00 PM: Feeds returned following the veto competition. Neda won the Power of Veto. Neda told Bruno, Kevin, Jackie, Dillon and Emily that Gary already told her that he wants to talk later. She wondered what his campaign pitch would be. Bruno mentioned Gary trying to throw Dre under the bus by saying she was the one campaigning for Cassandra. Neda said she could always get them to go into a room together and discuss what happened last week. After everyone cleared out, Neda told Bruno that fans hate when people are in control of the game. She thinks people will root for the underdogs over their big alliance. Neda said they cannot get cocky. In the bathroom, Ika told Dre that Jackie told a group of people that she influenced Demetres to vote for Dillon when he didn’t want to. Ika let Dre know that she would prefer to keep her over Gary. Dre said Demetres, Ika or William have to win HoH. Dre wondered if Sindy would prefer to keep Gary over her. Ika said Sindy does whatever Neda tells her to do. Dre questioned how she is a bigger threat than Gary. Ika said she is a threat because she has William. Dre argued that Jackie has William. Ika advised Dre to have William pretend to get closer with Jackie. Dre said he is already doing that. Dre said Bruno and Kevin are not stupid and they will not go to the end with Neda. Dre said Neda will win. She added that Canada loves Neda. Ika said Canada does not like Neda and is saying they wish they didn’t give Neda the power. Ika said Neda’s cats, her sister and her mom might not be saying that, but everyone else is.
3:00-4:00 PM: Ika told Sindy that she will need people in jury that will vote for her. Ika said Sindy will not have the votes against Neda since everyone respects Neda. Ika told Sindy she can see her going very far. Ika said Sindy is someone she would like to see win the game if she cannot win it herself. Sindy said the same about Ika. She then mentioned she would not want their season to end like BBCAN4 did, with there being such a mixed reaction about the winner. Neda joined them. Ika reiterated that they need to make it to jury to be able to vote for each other. Ika said she was in such a good spot but the nomination vote screwed her. She pointed out that Arisa said it would be secret. Sindy said it was still a secret but they figured out who voted which way. Ika said she is trying to find the positive in this situation, so at least it doesn’t look like they are working together now. Ika pointed out that Bruno and Kevin did not get many votes since he worked so hard to shift the target of those on the other side. Neda thinks her name would have been brought up if not for her immunity. Ika said she put such a huge target on Dillon and Emily’s backs in order to protect the alliance. Ika said her #1 priority is Neda and Sindy. Ika thinks the people to worry about winning HoH next week are Jackie, Dillon and Emily. Sindy said Jackie wants Dre to leave so she can have William. Ika asked if she should avoid hanging out with Demetres as much. Neda said yeah. She suggested hanging out with Demetres as part of a group rather than alone with him in their own room. Ika worried that her nominations would make her the arget for Dillon and Emily. Neda said the game changes so fast and that others will make themselves targets. After, Dre asked Ika who the next target will be once she is gone. Ika said it will be her and Demetres for sure. They talked about the need to win HoH. Demetres joined them. Ika said she is being fake and nice cause she does not want to make him a target. Ika said she probably wouldn’t care if it was just her. Dre figured William would be taken out soon. Ika disagreed, saying he will be in the middle when the other side starts attacking each other. Ika figures William is in a position to go very far in the game. Dre wondered who on the other side will be the first to go once they start attacking each other. Ika said she doesn’t know cause she isn’t with them. Ika told Dre she hates Jackie. Ika called Jackie a lunatic.
5:00-6:00 PM: Kevin asked Gary if he is going to try to get Neda to use the veto on him. Gary said he is thinking he will just try to get the votes. Kevin said a lot of people want Gary to go over Dre. Gary said he needs Kevin to have his back more. He was disappointed that Kevin said he didn’t know if he would use the veto on him earlier. Kevin said he wasn’t feeling it going in to the veto competition. However, Kevin assured Gary that he wants him to stay over Dre. Kevin said it will all come down to what the voting system is this week. If the HoH has the sole vote to evict, Kevin said he will be on Gary’s team. Gary questioned what Kevin would do in that scenario if his allies all wanted to keep Dre instead. Kevin said they would be very upset at him if he were to then keep Gary. Bruno entered the room and asked if the guys were about to sleep. Kevin said they are talking game. After Bruno left, Gary said he is such an idiot and Kevin has been playing him this whole time. Gary didn’t understand why Kevin told Bruno that they are talking game. Gary pointed out he has been doing everything he can to show loyalty, yet Kevin has not given him anything in return. Gary admitted that all the signs are telling him to get away from Kevin, making it so he cannot help but feel insecure about their relationship. Kevin said he has always tried to deflect the target away from Kevin and on to Dre. Gary said he can’t help but think Kevin feels that he is in a good position and he shouldn’t risk anything to help him out. Kevin acknowledged that he feels that way to some extent. He said he would like to convince the others that Dre is the bigger threat than Gary is. Gary told Kevin that if he turns his back on him, it would be his biggest regret in the game.
6:00-7:00 PM: Gary spoke to Neda and told her that he did not campaign for Cassandra. He claimed Dre was the one behind that, and he mentioned he went straight to Neda when that happened. Neda suggested Gary try to clear that up with the rest of the houseguests. Gary asked if that’s what Neda would need in order to use the veto on him. Neda said people would be so mad if she used it. Gary said if Neda uses the veto on him and then he wins HoH, he can do something that will benefit the both of them. Gary said no one deserves to be at the end as much as the two of them. Gary then spoke to Dillon. He said he would prefer to see Emily leave over Dillon if he has to choose between the two. Gary said he thinks Emily is coming after him. Dillon assured Gary that they have not discussed that. Dillon brought up that Gary nominated the two of them. Gary said Dillon voted for him too but he is willing to put it behind him if Dillon does the same. Dillon agreed to do so. Gary then swore on his life that he did not campaign to keep Cassandra. He explained that Dre came to him and said Cassandra has the votes, then he went straight to Neda with the information.
7:00-8:00 PM: In the bedroom, Bruno told Dillon, Jackie and Neda that Gary is going around telling everyone the same story. Neda said Gary told her that he would win HoH and take out whoever she wants. Bruno and Dillon said Gary told them the same thing. The group discussed telling Dre what Gary is doing. Bruno said it will cause fireworks. Dillon said Dre will go off. Neda said Dre needs to know. They weren’t sure how to approach Dre with the information. Neda said she thinks Karen is the only person in the house that would save Gary if they were to win HoH and have the sole vote to evict.
8:00-9:00 PM: Dillon informed Dre that Gary has been throwing her under the bus by saying she was campaigning for Cassandra. Dre denied it. Dillon told Dre that she doesn’t have to worry since she is not going home this week. Dre told Dillon that she will not be going after him if she wins HoH. She said she would not nominate Dillon or Emily. In turn, Dillon said he would not nominate Dre or William. In the bedroom, Ika let Gary know that he is being targeted this week. Gary mentioned Dillon told him he likes him more than he likes Dre. Ika said they are lying to Gary. Ika advised Gary to listen to his gut. Gary said his gut is telling him that he will stay. Ika said he will not stay unless there is a twist and staying does not rely on the votes of the houseguests. Gary asked if Ika would vote for him. Ika said she would and that she will do so even if Dre has the votes. Ika told Gary he has no one aside from her and Demetres. The two speculated that backwards week could mean the nominees will both be safe and one may become the new HoH. Dre joined them. Dre said she would like to get Jackie out before anyone else. Gary agreed. Ika prefers to break up Dillon and Emily.
9:00-10:00 PM: Dre told Ika that Gary is still throwing her under the bus. Dre said she will deny having campaigned for Cassandra, instead pushing the blame for everything on to Gary. Dre said Gary doesn’t know what is going to hit him. Demetres then spoke to Ika. He said he just talked with Kevin who said they are going to start turning on Dillon and Emily. Ika said they are lying. She pointed out that Neda does not want Dillon and Emily to go. She said those two are always at the bottom of Neda’s pecking order. The two discussed that the immunity twist is BS. Ika said it is especially bad considering Neda gets to play in HoH competitions while she is already safe. Demetres said that allows her to do whatever she wants while building an army at the same time. He hope that will make it easier to get her out later on. Demetres and Ika discussed wanting to get Dillon out next.
10:00-11:00 PM: Emily asked Dillon what he thinks about nominating Ika and Demetres if Gary goes home this week. Dillon said he would love it. Emily said she would too. Dillon brought up that Demetres told him he nominated the two of them yesterday. Emily said he probably figured Dillon already knew. She said it makes sense from Demetres’ point of view since he has already nominated them in the past. Dillon said they have the numbers right now and they can take Demetres out when they get the chance. Emily said he is a scary one to go after since he is a competitor. Dillon said Demetres is not smart though. Dillon said Ika is two-faced and her personality is not nice. The two agreed that if everything goes according to plan and it comes down to everyone on their side, they would like to see Sindy go first. Dillon also mentioned Jackie as someone to go early on at that point.
11:00-12:00 AM: Bruno joined Dillon and Emily. Dillon told Bruno that Ika and Demetres should be their next targets since they both voted for Emily and himself to go on the block. Bruno said 100%. Dillon said those two are becoming way too close. Emily suggested that they reel in Karen once Gary is gone. Bruno and Dillon agreed. Bruno told Dillon and Emily that they don’t have anything to worry about with him. He said they have their five person group within the seven, then they have their three as well. Bruno said his loyalty is to Dillon and Emily over everyone else once they have to start cutting people from their own side.
