BBCAN5 Day 38 - Sindy is the replacement nominee
April 17, 2017
8:00-9:00 AM: Dillon told Karen it’s nuts that Bruno and Kevin are playing so hard. Karen said Bruno worked on her for three hours yesterday and she was wanting him to leave her alone. Karen said they are going home. Dillon said Bruno and Kevin know that and that’s why they are freaking out so much.
9:00-10:00 AM: Ika told Dre and Demetres that she cannot stand Bruno. She said she would have put him on the block even if she had made the deal that Dillon made. Dre said she doesn’t want to convince someone who swore on his niece to go back on it. Ika said Dillon has to be the one to make that decision. That being said, Ika feels this would be a perfect time to take a shot at Bruno. Dre said Dillon needs a little push and she will feel bad if she gives it. Ika didn’t think Dillon would go back on his word at this point. Dre asked how bad it would be if she convinced Dillon to nominate Bruno. Ika said it would be the biggest move of the season next to Neda leaving. Demetres and Ika said Bruno is the glue that holds Kevin and Sindy together. Dre said she can convince Dillon but she wants to know if she is a bad person for it. Demetres said the final decision is Dillon’s, so it wouldn’t be Dre’s fault if he made the move. Demetres said there is nothing wrong with pushing for Bruno to go on the block. Ika said Sindy will put Dillon and Jackie on the block, then they can protect Dillon. Ika pointed out that Dan swore on the bible, his wife, and the cross and went back on it. Karen then broke up the talk. Later, Ika told Jackie that no one would ever think they would talk. Ika said they need to keep behaving the same way they have been. Ika told Jackie she will prove herself to her this week and then they will secretly have each other’s backs. Ika then apologized to Jackie for ripping up her cheat sheet that she used to study the days. Jackie said she knew it was Ika.
11:00-12:00 PM: Dre told Ika that she is going to talk to Dillon really quickly to see if she can get him to put Bruno on the block. Ika said Bruno has to go now that they have him in this position. Ika asked Dre who she thinks Sindy would nominate if she stays and wins HoH. Dre said Sindy would nominate them, but both agreed that Bruno and Kevin will do the same thing anyway. Ika mentioned that Bruno and Kevin are a lot stronger than Sindy and Kevin are. She though Kevin may feel like he needs them if Bruno ends up leaving. Ika worried that Bruno would be able to pull Jackie back in if he stays. Dre said Jackie is going to want the vets out. She added that Karen is in Jackie’s ear. Ika said she wants to let Jackie know that Karen cannot be trusted and that she is telling them everything Jackie is saying. In the bathroom, Jackie asked Karen if Sindy is going up. Karen said Dillon told her that he is nominating Ika. She questioned if Dillon just changed his mind in the last five minutes. Jackie then went to Dillon to say that she will support whichever decision he makes. Jackie admitted to have a decent talk with Ika yesterday. Dillon told Jackie that Sindy is going up and going home 100%. He said the votes to evict Sindy will be Dre, Karen, Demetres and Ika. Dillon and Jackie discussed that they have been getting played by Bruno. Dillon said Ika is more straight up and will tell you how she feels about you. Dillon went on to say that if everything goes according to plan, Sindy will leave this week and then Bruno and Kevin will be on the block next week. Dillon said he saw a different side of Kevin last night, as he came to him wide eyed with a least of reasons why nominating Ika is best. Dillon said it’s best for Kevin’s game but not his. Jackie said everyone is after Bruno and Kevin and it’s going to be fun.
12:00-1:00 PM: Dre went to the HoH room to talk to Dillon. She asked what if they made a promise and went back on it and Bruno was all of a sudden on the block. Dillon said he made a promise to Bruno and he is a man of his word, so that would be hard for him to do. Dre said she is probably just being paranoid but Bruno is sketching her out. Dillon assured Dre that Bruno will be on the block next week if anyone other than Bruno and Kevin win HoH. Dre was unsure about Jackie nominating Bruno. Dillon explained that she feels played by Bruno and Kevin, and he believes she will follow through with putting them up. Dillon said they can send Sindy out of there to break down Bruno and Kevin’s alliance a bit. Dillon then threw out a hypothetical of putting Ika on the block. Dre said Ika would have the numbers to stay. She said Karen will not vote to evict Ika. Dillon said Dre would have to be the fourth vote. Dre said that would be so hard for her to do. They agreed that it’s best for Ika to stay since she is a number for them. Dre told Dillon that Ika is going to go at some point but they will not have to be the ones to make the move against her, especially not this week.
10:00-11:00 PM: Feeds were down for over 5 hours earlier in the day. The veto ceremony did not take place during that time. The feeds only returned briefly and then went back down for over 2 hours in the evening. The veto ceremony took place. Demetres used the Power of Veto on himself. Dillon nominated Sindy as the replacement nominee. Out in the hot tub, Jackie told Bruno that it will be awkward talking to Ika about her vote. Bruno said he truly believes Sindy is on the block to get voted out, so that side will be voting her out. Bruno told Jackie that it’s now Ika, Demetres, Dre, William, Dillon and Karen against the two of them and Kevin. He said they will have to win HoH. Jackie said they will get some kind of numbers on their side if they do. Bruno agreed. Dillon made his way outside to join them. Once Jackie headed inside, Bruno asked Dillon what happened. Dillon said he panicked and put Sindy up because that was the easier move since she nominated him. Bruno said Sindy putting Dillon up was Ika’s doing. Bruno said this move is not good for them. Bruno told Dillon that Ika does not like him. Dillon said he doesn’t think they had the numbers to get Ika out. Bruno said she would have went home 100%. Dillon said he doubts it since Demetres, Dre, William and Karen all would have voted Jackie out. Bruno thinks Dillon could have persuaded Karen to vote Ika out. Dillon said he tried. Bruno then brought up that he gave HoH to Dillon because he said he was going to nominate Ika and Demetres, which he claims he would have done 100% had he won HoH himself. In the bathroom, Kevin told Jackie that that’s not what he was hoping for. He said he pushed hard for Ika to go up. Kevin welcomed Jackie to the bottom. Jackie said she has already been at the bottom, so she welcomed Kevin there instead. Kevin let Jackie know that he expects Sindy will be voted out. Jackie asked if he thinks Ika would vote Sindy out. Kevin said for sure.
11:00-12:00 AM: In the bathroom, William asked Karen if Jackie thought Ika was going on the block. Karen said she did. She said everyone on that side thought Ika was going up. Karen and William agreed that they do not trust Jackie. Karen said the other side needs William’s vote in order to keep Sindy. Karen told William not to do it. William assured Karen that he doesn’t want a trio in the house. William then headed to the bedroom. Kevin told William he wants to have a talk and put everything on the table. He said not tonight, since they should have tonight for Dre’s birthday. William asked Kevin if he is surprised that Sindy went up. Kevin said no and told William that he was kind of expecting it. William asked if Kevin spoke to Dillon. Kevin said he did and he definitely tried to save Sindy. In the HoH room, Karen let Demetres and Dillon know that she is going to say she is doing what Dillon wants when she gets asked about her vote. Karen said she will do the same thing that those people did to Dillon and Emily last week, not letting them know how they are voting. Out by the hot tub, Kevin told Bruno he came up with a plan to potentially keep them from being nominated together next week. He suggested that he throw Sindy a sympathy vote while Bruno votes with the group. Kevin said he will then get mad at Bruno in front of everyone after the vote. Kevin told Bruno he would then run to William and spend the next three days with him, explaining to people that they had a Season 3 agreement never to vote against each other and Bruno went against it. Kevin though this would potentially lead to one of them going on the block with Jackie instead of with each other. Bruno said he doesn’t think anyone will buy it. He said they can do better than that. Bruno thinks everyone else is together and they have to win the competition since it’s do or die. Bruno and Kevin discussed potential cracks in the majority alliance. Kevin thinks Ika and Demetres will turn on Dre and William in order to take Karen further. Bruno said Karen thinks she is playing but she is not and she is literally just a number. Kevin said Sindy is dead in the game and there is nothing they can do to save her. Bruno agreed. The two said it’s not over for them yet and there is a lot of game left to play. Kevin said he is fired up more than ever. Kevin said Ika is a great Big Brother player. Bruno said she is fantastic. Kevin told Bruno he will vote for Ika to win the game if she is at the end and he is in jury. The two said they are going to take Ika down. Bruno said they have to get Ika and Demetres out. After that, Bruno said he wouldn’t mind working with William. Kevin thinks the only play to possibly get Sindy to stay is to make the four think that she is going after Dillon and Karen. They said Sindy has to do the campaigning for herself and they cannot be doing it on her behalf.
1:00-2:00 AM: Kevin commented to Jackie that the game flipped around pretty quickly. Jackie said it keeps flipping. She suggested that they get too cocky. Kevin said he always told people that they needed to stay humble. Kevin admitted that he had some arrogance to him as well. Jackie brought up that she now knows how close Bruno and Sindy are. She said she assumes Kevin was closed with them as well. Kevin said yes and let Jackie know that they were planning on looking after each other. Jackie questioned if Kevin was in on the plan when Sindy nominated her. Kevin told Jackie that he and Bruno were livid about Sindy’s nominations and backdooring of Neda. Bruno joined them. Jackie commented on how it’s hard to fully trust them after what Neda outed. Bruno said it’s not what it seems. He explained that he has been after Ika and Demetres for weeks. Bruno and Kevin told Jackie that she is all they have got now. Both said they are willing to lay out their games from start to finish for her. The talk was then broken up.
