BBCAN5 Day 44
April 23, 2017
8:00-9:00 AM: Shortly after Big Brother woke the houseguests up for the day, Kevin spoke to William about the possibility of getting him to use the veto on him. William said people don’t want him to use it. Kevin said he doesn’t think that Ika and Demetres would be super upset about him using it. William wasn’t sure about that considering Ika was mad about him hanging out with Kevin. Kevin said if he stays on the block with Bruno, he thinks that they are going to keep Bruno. Kevin mentioned that he has bad connections and he is not friends with these people. If William uses the veto, Kevin said Jackie or Karen will likely go up and then Bruno will go home. William admitted he is scared that he will make people mad by using it and then they will nominate Dre. Kevin said that wont happen since Demetres and Ika love Dre. Kevin assured William that he will fight for him to get as close to the Final 2 as possible if he stays. Kevin said William will be all he has once Bruno is gone. Kevin told William it would be a big move since nobody has used the veto on someone else yet this season. William said he for sure wants to save Kevin.
10:00-11:00 AM: Dre told William that she doesn’t think she will go on the block if William uses the veto, but you never know in this house. Dre said Ika told her that Karen would go up. However, Dre said she doesn’t trust Bruno and he may go up there and say something to get her on the block. Dre explained that she cannot be 100% sure that she will not be on the block if William uses the veto. Kevin made his way to the HoH room. Ika kept it real with him and told him that people want him out of the house as of right now. She said he will go home if the nominations remain the same. Kevin said William wants to use the veto but he is worried that Ika and Demetres will be pissed off and nominate Dre because of it. Ika said William knows that they would never nominate Dre. Ika told Kevin that William is likely just saying that because he doesn’t want to use the veto. Kevin said he thought he had a closer relationship with William than that, but William must be playing him. Kevin said that lie is frustrating him.
11:00-12:00 PM: Kevin asked Ika and Demetres if they have any advice for him. Ika explained that people want Kevin gone more than they want Bruno gone because they see Kevin as the smarter and harder to read player. Ika added that Kevin comes off as both physical and smart. Kevin pointed out that he is a huge target and Demetres and Ika would survive the block if nominated next to him but not if they are nominated next to Bruno. Kevin said Bruno has an ability to blend back in. Ika asked Kevin if he would be vengeful if he stays, choosing to put them up next week. Kevin said not at all. Ika said Dillon, Jackie and Karen all want Kevin to go. Ika said there is some wiggle room with Dre because she doesn’t like Bruno. She also said that William would want Kevin to stay but he would not fight for it. Kevin said that if Dillon, Jackie and Karen are wanting Bruno to stay, that means that they are more willing to work with Bruno moving forward. Kevin said he doesn’t mix with those people and they will be his targets. Ika asked if Bruno would come after them if he stays. Kevin said Bruno plays week to week and he will do whatever is best for him. Before leaving, Kevin told Ika and Demetres that he appreciates how they kept it real with him. Afterwards, Demetres told Ika that Kevin made some good points. Ika wants whichever one stays to agree not to come after them next week. Demetres said it scares him that he comes out of every conversation with Kevin thinking that he likes him. Ika told Demetres that she wants this decision to come from him since she is confused about what she wants. They agreed that Kevin is less likely to go around trying to get them on the block than Bruno is if they don’t win HoH. Dre joined Ika and Demetres. She said William told her that he is not going to use the veto because he is scared that she will go up. Ika and Demetres assured Dre that she will not go on the block. Ika asked Dre why she was pushing for Bruno to go. Dre said she feels as though Bruno has been doing the most lying and controlling since the beginning of the game. Ika said Bruno has better relationships throughout the house. She also mentioned that Kevin would likely leave over them if they are nominated together. Demetres said Kevin is also more likely to be nominated. Dre said she needs William to understand that he cannot use the veto and that they want to keep Kevin. Ika told Dre to remind William that the four of them can control the vote. Ika said Bruno will go after Dre and William if he stays, which is bad for them. On the other hand, Ika thinks that Kevin would nominate Dillon, Jackie and Karen. Ika admitted that part of her wants Kevin to go because of his relationship with William, though she thinks it is best to keep him at this point.
12:00-1:00 PM: Ika told Dre and Demetres that the only way to get Kevin to trust them is by being the ones to save him. Therefore, she wants him to remain on the block so that they would have the opportunity to save him through their votes. Meanwhile, William asked Kevin if he is sure that Dre would not be the replacement nominee. Kevin asked if William is using that as an excuse. William said no. Kevin told William he knows that Dre would not go on the block. Kevin told William that the decision is on him in terms of who stays and who goes. Kevin explained that he is going home unless William uses the veto on him. William said he 100% wants Kevin to stay. Kevin said he told Demetres and Ika to nominate Jackie or Karen as the replacement nominee. Kevin said he will only have William if Bruno were to leave. William said he expects Ika and Demetres to tell him not to use it. Kevin said they talked about understanding if William wants to make that move. William said he would have to learn something shocking in order to not use the veto. Kevin told William that he will be going after Dillon, Jackie and Karen if he stays. William asked if he would not go after Ika and Demetres. Kevin said his conversation with them was really good, but William is right that they did put him on the block. William asked if Kevin made a deal with those two. Kevin said no. Dre interrupted to pull William aside to talk. William wants to use the veto. Dre explained that they can have the numbers to keep Kevin even if he is on the block. Afterwards, Dre reported back to Ika and Demetres that Kevin told William they will not be upset if he uses the veto. Demetres said they would be pissed. Ika asked if William is going to use the veto. Dre said Kevin told William that they would understand. Ika clarified that all they said is that they would not nominate Dre. Dre mentioned William told her that he doesn’t care who he pisses off by using the veto. Ika questioned if William wants to piss her off and awake the monster inside of her. Ika said William is showing his cards and he will end up on the block next to Kevin because of it. Ika told Dre that she wants William to leave the house more than she wants Bruno or Kevin to leave at this point. Ika said if William doesn’t care about the people who are keeping him safe, she will take him out. Dre said it’s great to know that William doesn’t trust her. Ika told Dre that she chooses not to see what is right in front of her.
1:00-2:00 PM: Ika let Dillon know that William is saying he doesn’t care if anyone is angry at him for using the veto. Dillon said it’s mind boggling and he doesn’t know what William is thinking. Dillon figured that William would use the veto. Ika said she doesn’t think that William knows what people being angry at him feels like. She said she might show him. Dillon told her to get him. Dillon think it would be dumb for William to use the veto when Kevin doesn’t even have his back. Dillon mentioned that William will be going on the block next week if he uses the veto. They discussed that William isn’t listening to Dre even though she is the one who had his back since Day 1. The fact that William is planning on using the veto is another reason why Ika said Kevin is dangerous. Dillon said he thinks that Bruno is more dangerous from a physical point of view. He also said Bruno knows all of his days 100%. Ika added that Bruno will be out for revenge. Ika explained that Bruno has a certain quality about him that makes you feel bad for him, making him dangerous. Dillon agreed.
2:00-3:00 PM: Dillon asked Dre if William is going to use the veto. She said she told him not to. Dre talked about how she has wanted Bruno to go since the beginning. Dillon agreed that Bruno is more dangerous than Kevin is. Dre said she may take Kevin out if that’s what Demetres wants. Dillon said he would like to see Bruno go. Dre thinks Bruno will be able to cut deals with people like Jackie and Karen if he stays. Dre said she has told William that it is best for his game not to use the veto, but she thinks that she no longer has any pull over him. The two talked about William making numerous people mad and losing their trust if he uses the veto. Dre said the problem is that William believes people already don’t trust him regardless of what he does with the veto.
3:00-4:00 PM: William asked Kevin if he thinks people like Dillon, Jackie and Karen will be mad if he uses the veto. Kevin said they will be more pissed at him. Kevin told William that he could use seven PoVs and they will still target him first. Kevin reiterated that he will leave if he stays on the block next to Bruno. William said Dre is asking him to trust her about the votes. William told Kevin that he trusts Dre but isn’t sure if she has the ability to change the vote. William asked Kevin if he would use the veto if the roles were reversed. Kevin said he would. Kevin told William that he will be his player. Kevin admitted that he has not given William everything up to this point. Now that Bruno, Neda and Sindy are gone, Kevin said he will give everything. Dre joined them. Kevin asked which of the two nominees is better for her game. Dre said she doesn’t like either of them. Dre gave Kevin her word that she will vote to evict Bruno if the nominations stay the same. Dre told Kevin that asking William to use the veto on him is putting William in a worse position since he doesn’t have people targeting him right now. Kevin told William only to use the veto if it is best for his game. Dre said it’s not bad for her own game to have William use the veto, but she doesn’t think it is good for William. Kevin explained why he think it is good for William to use it. He made the same pitch that he made to William, saying that he would be fully loyal to William now that Bruno, Neda and Sindy are gone. Dre brought up that if Kevin cared about Neda so much he would have kept her off of the block and not voted to evict her. Kevin said he went with the house. Dre said part of the reason she doesn’t like Bruno and Kevin is that they flip flop. Dre mentioned that whenever their alliance didn’t know what to do, they turned on one of their own. Dre told Kevin that she will vote for him to stay and so will William. Kevin said he feels a bit better knowing that. Dre said she believes that Bruno will leave even if William doesn’t use the veto. If William does use it, Dre suggested that Kevin and William would be targeted as a duo.
4:00-5:00 PM: Before wrapping up her talk with Kevin, Dre told him that she is willing to campaign to make sure that Bruno leaves since Kevin is better for her game. Afterwards, William asked Kevin if he is okay. Kevin said he is. Kevin told William that it was a good talk with Dre. William thought that Dre was being rude. Kevin told William not to use the veto if it is not best for his game. William said he is confused about what the best move is. Kevin said Dre probably has a better idea of what is best for William’s game. William said he will talk to Dre to see why she thinks that people will keep Kevin. After Kevin left the room, William said to himself that he is going to save Kevin anyway. In the other bedroom, Karen told Dillon that Dre is playing every side of the house. Karen thinks that Dre is eventually going to flip sides to make a move, which is why she is positioning herself the way that she is. Karen asked if Dre trusts Ika. Dillon said no. Karen asked if Dillon really believes that. He said yes. Karen told Dillon that William using the veto is good for their game since it would make everyone upset with William. They discussed that Bruno would go home even if the veto is used. Karen still thinks that Kevin is the bigger threat since he has more people on his side. Specifically, she noted that Kevin has Jackie and William who are both loyal to him.
5:00-6:00 PM: Kevin told Ika and Demetres that after hearing Dre’s perspective, he realizes that William probably shouldn’t use the veto. Ika told Kevin to trust that they will keep him. Kevin said he will remain a target and he will go back on the block if he stays. Ika said they need to team up or else they will go home. Kevin told Ika that he will nominate Jackie and Karen if he wins HoH next week. Kevin said he feels better after talking to Dre, because he didn’t think he had the votes. Ika said she doesn’t want Dre to know that she wanted to keep Kevin all along. Ika gave her word that she will not go after Kevin next week if she wins. Kevin said he will trust Ika, Demetres, Dre and William to keep him. He said he will not campaign to the others and he will show his trust by no longer asking William to use the veto. Ika then headed to the HoH room to tell Dre about Kevin saying that he will not push for William to use the veto. They discussed that Kevin will not come after them next week. William joined them. He said he is confused. Ika told him that he will not use the veto. Ika said she respected William’s HoH and now he will respect Demetres’ HoH. Ika told William that she will keep Kevin safe if the veto is not used. William said he would feel dumb if he didn’t use the veto and then Bruno stayed, since Bruno is not good for his game. Ika and Demetres assured William that Kevin will stay. Ika told William that he does not want to face the wrath of Ika.
6:00-7:00 PM: Demetres asked Ika if she thinks that William will actually not use the veto. Ika said she doesn’t think that he will use it since he wont want to deal with her. She mentioned that he scare tactics come in handy. Demetres asked what they will do if they change their minds about keeping Kevin. Ika said then they change their minds. Ika asked Demetres if he wants Kevin gone. Demetres said he did but his gut is telling him that Bruno has to go. He doesn’t think that Bruno will be as tight with Kevin as he would be with Bruno. Ika said they were angry at both guys but she remembers being angrier with Bruno than with Kevin. Out by the hot tub, Dillon asked William if he is going to use the veto. William said he would love to use it but he doesn’t think that he is going to. William said it would piss a lot of people off. Dillon said Kevin seems to have the numbers either way.
7:00-8:00 PM: Dre asked Dillon if he thinks it’s a good idea to go after Ika and Demetres. Dillon asked when. Dre said that’s the thing since it seems like there is never a good time. She wondered when they would have the numbers. Dillon said he had a dream last night that he was in jury and having to pick the winner between Ika and Demetres. Dillon said Ika is so comfortable and literally thinks that she is running the house. Dillon told Dre he hopes that it’s an instant and one of them wins HoH. Bruno then broke up the talk. Dre then went to Jackie to tell her that they need to find a way to make the next target whoever stays, Ika or Demetres. Dre said Ika and Demetres are going to win the game. Dre explained that she cannot fully trust Ika since she played both sides and didn’t tell her until the day of the double eviction. Dre told Jackie that she wants to eliminate Bruno, Kevin, Ika and Demetres. Dre said she isn’t sure when the best time would be to make the move against Ika and Demetres. Jackie suggested getting Ika out this week if it’s a double eviction.
8:00-9:00 PM: Dre told Jackie that she doesn’t know if she would be able to nominate Ika and Demetres herself. Jackie said she doesn’t mind nominating Ika but she would have trouble putting Demetres up since he has kept her off of the block three times now. As for this week’s vote, Dre said Bruno is more dangerous because he will have the ability to reel people back in, whereas Kevin would remain a target. Dre said Bruno would align with Ika and Demetres to go after her and William next week. Jackie said Bruno has to go. Jackie suggested throwing HoH to Dillon and then convincing him to target Ika or Demetres. Even if Kevin goes up next to Ika, Jackie said they could then vote Ika out.
10:00-11:00 PM: Ika told Demetres that she is worried about Dillon since he seems to look at them a type of way where he wants to make them a target. Demetres asked if Ika wants to backdoor him. Ika said it’s not a smart move to leave Bruno and Kevin in the house together. Ika told Demetres that they need William not to use the veto, then they really need to sit down and discuss which move is best for their game. Ika is concerned that Kevin has been working on his relationships throughout the day, as opposed to Bruno who is alone. They then went back to talking about Dillon being threatened by them and coming after them. Ika asked if Bruno and Kevin will see where they are coming from since they are both pairs, allowing them to actually work together. Demetres said he would love to believe them but they have given them many chances before. He also thinks that they would ruin their other relationships if they were to keep both Bruno and Kevin around. Ika didn’t like that Kevin has been acting like he doesn’t know what he is doing. As for Karen, Ika is not a fan of her attitude. Dre joined them. They discussed who to keep. While Ika started pushing for Kevin to go, Demetres and Dre suggested that Bruno should go. Meanwhile, Kevin asked William if Ika gave him her word. William said yes. Kevin said that’s all he needs then. Kevin told William not to use the veto. Kevin said he will trust in Dre, William, Ika and Demetres to keep him.
11:00-12:00 AM: Dre, Demetres and Ika continued to debate who they should keep between Bruno and Kevin. The arguments remained much the same, with Ika pushing for Kevin to go while Dre pushed for Bruno. While Demetres remained open to both moves, he thinks that Bruno should go. Ika said she will go along with their plan if two of the three think it’s best for Bruno to go. Demetres asked who he should nominate in the event that William uses the veto on Kevin. Both Dre and Ika said to nominate Karen. Demetres said he would have no problem doing that. Dre told William that she does not want Kevin using the information William gives him about her to run to Ika and Demetres. Dre said it will mess her up a lot. She told William that Kevin does not need to know that she wants Ika and Demetres out. Dre said Kevin has to trust her or else she is screwed. Dre let William know that she is pushing hard for Kevin to stay and she thinks that it will work.
12:00-1:00 AM: Bruno told Demetres that he and Kevin were legit when talking to him. Bruno said he hopes and prays that they do not see him coming into jury next week. Bruno said he has nothing against Demetres. Demetres said he had to go with his gut. Bruno told Demetres that he knows they think they have Dre but she is in the best spot in the house. Bruno said nobody is going to vote her out. Demetres agreed. Bruno reiterated that Demetres has two people that will fight for him and for Ika if there is a way to keep them both this week. Bruno encouraged Demetres to use them. Demetres said he really liked Bruno in Week 1, but Bruno made it hard sometimes. Bruno agreed.
