BBCAN5 Day 48 - Bruno is evicted; Kevin wins HoH
April 27, 2017
10:00-11:00 AM: In the pantry, Kevin told Bruno that they can sit Dillon, Jackie and William down to tell them that Ika and Demetres are the enemies. Bruno asked if Jackie would go for it. Kevin said she believes that she is in with Ika and Demetres. Bruno said there is no point then. Bruno thinks he could get Dillon to keep him if he sees that it is best for his game. Bruno thought their only shot at getting Jackie on board would be to tell Karen how Ika is pitting her and Jackie against each other, then hope Karen runs to Jackie and blows something up. They discussed that Jackie is the only one who buys what Ika is doing at this point. Bruno thinks either Dre or Ika have a good shot at making it to the end. Kevin thinks it will be Dre. In the bedroom, Dillon told Jackie that Kevin is going after Ika and Demetres. Jackie agreed but admitted she was nervous talking to Kevin. Jackie pointed out that Kevin tried telling her there are a lot of pairs in the house, even though he is in a pair with William. Dillon talked to Jackie about the need to break up Ika and Demetres this week if they are to have a shot at winning the game. Dillon mentioned he would say something in his speech about needing to take out the queen’s number one soldier, Demetres, in order to take down the empire.
11:00-12:00 PM: Ika told Jackie that Kevin approach her and Dre last night to say he will tell Dillon and Jackie that he is coming after her and Demetres even though he is really going after Dillon and Jackie. Jackie said she figured that. Jackie let Ika know that Kevin was pitching how the two of them are solo in this game and it would be stupid to go after each other. Ika told Jackie that Kevin came up to her and said Dillon and Jackie asked if he will be nominating Ika and Demetres. Jackie said Kevin likes to cover himself on all sides. Ika said Kevin swore on his mother that he would not be coming after her. Jackie said she is not falling for it anymore and she doesn’t trust anything that Kevin says. Ika said Kevin called Jackie and liar and he pitched that Ika, Demetres, Dre, William and himself work together as a five. Ika said her gut tells her that Kevin and William have to sit on the block together. Afterwards, Ika told Dillon that people are liars. Specifically, she said Kevin is a liar. Ika said the things Kevin is saying to her and Dre are the exact same things Kevin is saying to Jackie. Ika said Kevin swore on his mom to her, Demetres and Dre that he is not coming after them. Ika said Kevin told her that Dillon, Jackie and Karen are his targets. Dillon said you can’t be swearing on everything. Ika let Dillon know that Kevin says Dillon and Jackie are coming after her. She added that Bruno and Kevin keep saying that Dre is in a really good position in the house. Ika said they cannot be happy for other people. Ika compared Kevin to a dirty politician who can tell a bunch of lies and still be believed. Ika told Dillon that she will nominate Kevin and William if she wins HoH.
8:00-9:00 PM: During tonight’s eviction episode, Bruno was evicted by a vote of 5-1. Kevin was the lone vote to evict Karen. Arisa revealed to the audience that next Thursday will be a triple eviction.
9:00-10:00 PM: Feeds returned following the eviction episode. Kevin is the new HoH. Ika, Jackie and Karen are the have-nots for the week. Ika told Demetres that if Kevin gets rid of one of them, everyone will be after him next week. Ika said he might be willing to make a deal with the two of them, Dre and William. Ika told Demetres that he will have her vote and Dre's vote if he is on the block come eviction night. Demetres thinks he and Ika would have a hard time staying if either one of them ends up on the block. Demetres said nobody wants them there. Ika said nobody wants Kevin there either, so he should realize that they need each other. Demetres commented on that being something similar to what was said last week, yet they got rid of his best friend. Ika said the house voted too. Demetres and Ika agreed that they would not feel any more secure with Kevin winning even if they had kept Bruno in the house. Out by the hot tub, Jackie asked Dillon who he thinks that Kevin will nominate. Dillon said Ika and Demetres. Dillon said Kevin has to know that they were going to put him up if Ika had won HoH. Jackie said it would have been Kevin and William. Jackie said she is nervous because Ika is now going to turn on her. Jackie mentioned that they can blame everything on Ika now. She added that the queen is going to be slayed. Back in the have-not room, Ika let Demetres know that she would not be mad if he chose to work with Kevin until the end if she ends up leaving. Demetres said he cannot trust Kevin or anyone for that matter. Ika and Demetres discussed that Dre made a deal during the HoH competition, putting their games at risk for the second time. Ika pointed out that it was convenient that Dre was fine and suddenly became weak and had to drop out after Kevin started making deals. Ika expects Kevin to want revenge after they took his allies out. Demetres argued that Kevin can separate emotion from game better than anybody in the house.
10:00-11:00 PM: Ika asked Kevin to let her and Demetres know if he is going to put them on the block. Kevin said he will be real and will tell them, but his mind is not yet made up. Ika asked if Kevin sees any good in keeping the two of them in the house together. Kevin said he can assuming he can trust them. Ika said she is guessing that the truce they made is off. Kevin said things have happened over the past few days. Kevin again said that his mind is not made up, though he made it clear that he would not nominate Dre or William since they made a deal. Kevin said everyone would be getting what they want if he goes after Ika and Demetres. Ika said they gave Jackie their word and kept it, even though they don’t like Jackie. Kevin said he would totally go with Ika and Demetres if he can trust them to keep a one week truce. However, Kevin is concerned that stuff was getting back to Dillon, Jackie and Karen, and it was as if he was being pitted against them. Ika said nobody knew about their truce so she had to throw his name out there even though she would not have put him on the block had she won HoH.
11:00-12:00 AM: Kevin told Demetres that if he puts them on the block, the others are getting a free ride. Kevin said Ika, Demetres and himself are the strongest players left. Kevin said he knows that Ika and Demetres will keep him safe if he keeps them this week, but he wants to talk to everybody before making a decision. Next up, Kevin spoke to William. He said nominating Ika and Demetres seems to be best. William agreed. Kevin said those two just put him on the block and they do not care about his life in the game. Kevin mentioned that Jackie would be the replacement nominee if one of them comes off of the block. William asked Kevin who he would prefer to see go. Kevin said maybe Demetres. Dre joined them. Dre let Kevin know that she isn’t sure he would have been safe if not for the Secret Power of Veto being used. Kevin was surprised to hear that since he thought that the votes were locked in. Dre brought up that it may be best for Kevin’s game to leave Ika and Demetres in the house since he and William could be the next duo to be target if they are gone. If Kevin does go after Ika and Demetres, Dre said he has to make sure that Ika is the target because it will be hell if she stays. Dre revealed that she trusted Ika from Day 1 but she played both sides and seems to be throwing her name out there to protect herself. Dre told Kevin that part of Ika’s game is to pit people against each other. Kevin said that happened a lot over the last couple of days. Kevin said he felt good about their group of five until he saw that happening. Kevin said if he had to nominate right now, he would nominate Ika and Demetres because that’s what his gut told him to do when he won. Dre asked if Ika ever threw her or William under the bus. Kevin said Ika was always pretty protective of them. He added that they always questioned if she would go with those two or stay with The Six.
12:00-1:00 AM: Dre told Kevin she is trying to figure out if Ika and Demetres are still playing both sides. Kevin said he doesn’t think so since they were on the block last week. Dre said Ika and Demetres were mad that Bruno and Kevin didn’t fight for the Buzzkilled HoH that Dillon won. Kevin agreed that they expected them to fight for them. Kevin said they tried to work something out after Demetres won HoH, but it was never going to happen. Before leaving, Dre told Kevin that she knows what she would have done had she won. Dre wouldn’t say what that is. Kevin asked if she would have nominated him. Dre said no since she would have had to put William up next to him. After Dre left, William told Kevin that Dre is right about Ika and Demetres being targets in front of him. Kevin agreed. Out in the backyard, Dre told Dillon that she tried to push for Ika and Demetres to go up without saying it. She said it seems as though Kevin will make that move but she is not positive about it. Dre said Kevin definitely sees that taking those two out would make him the next target. Dre hopes he does it so that they can go after Kevin next.
