BBCAN5 Day 52 - Jackie goes up in place of Demetres
May 1, 2017
7:00-8:00 AM: Ika told Demetres she has thinking about how they need to move forward to win if she stays. Ika said it always boils down to Dre has to go. Ika said Dre has too many connections in the house. Demetres mentioned nominated Dre next to Kevin. Ika didn’t think it made sense to nominate Kevin if they want Dre out. Ika added that William would use the veto on Kevin if he were to win it. Ika said she is realizing that Dre doesn’t like Demetres. Ika said Dre weirded her out by saying that she is trying to separate person from game. Ika told Demetres that she has been working on Dre in hope of preventing her from doing that and also in hope of getting Dre to sway Dillon or William to vote Jackie out. Ika said she asked Dre if she should work with Kevin, then Dre said Kevin has to go next followed by Karen and Dillon. Ika and Demetres agreed that they would vote for William to win the game over Dre. Ika said during her talk with Dre she played up that a black person has not won the game and she wants to bring her to the end to ensure that it happens. Ika doesn’t understand why Dre started not liking Demetres. Demetres said she probably didn’t ever like him. Ika said Dre wanted to be her #1, William’s #1 and Dillon’s #1. Ika said everything happens for a reason and this week showed them that they cannot trust Dre.
9:00-10:00 AM: Kevin let Jackie know that he is going to be putting her on the block as the replacement nominee. Jackie asked if it’s because he trusts what Demetres said about her telling him that he was Kevin’s target. Kevin said that is a bit of but Dillon and Karen are a pair and she is a solo player, so he would anger Dillon or Karen if he puts the other up. Kevin said he thinks it’s the better move for his game to nominate Jackie.
10:00-11:00 AM: Kevin told Demetres that Jackie is pissed about going on the block. Demetres told Kevin that they need to squash things between the three of them if Ika stays. Kevin said things are squashed even if Ika goes. They agreed that the three of them are most deserving winners. Demetres said that Kevin will have just as much pull over him next week as Ika will if he wins HoH. Ika joined them and said they should sit down and have a talk after the veto ceremony. Demetres and Kevin said they are in the middle of it right now. Kevin said he knows they think he is closer with William, but William has not offered him anything since Bruno left. Kevin said William will pick Dre over him. They agreed that they need each other to get to the end and ultimately win the game. Kevin said Ika staying is okay for his game but is bad for William, Dillon and the others. Kevin then told Dillon that Jackie is pretty pissed about being the replacement nominee. Dillon asked if they still want Ika to go. Kevin said he thinks so since they can probably pull Demetres in if that happens. Kevin said they have won 9 competitions between the three of them. He suggested trucking their way to the end together so that they don’t get picked off for being the biggest threats. Dillon said he is on the fence because he feels that Jackie is a bigger threat than Ika is, but he isn’t sure that they can rally in Demetres if Ika is still there. Kevin agreed. He said he is fine with either Ika or Jackie going. Kevin said it would be a cool story if Demetres, Dillon and himself were to work together after having nominated each other.
11:00-12:00 PM: Feeds returned following the veto ceremony. Demetres used the Power of Veto on himself. Kevin nominated Jackie as the replacement nominee. Out by the pool, Demetres told Ika that Dre approached him prior to the veto ceremony in attempt to make him feel as though it’s his fault that Ika is going. Demetres said Dre was trying to get him to use the veto on Ika. Demetres thinks that everything Dre said was BS. He told Ika that he would nominate Dre next to Karen. If Dre is saved, Demetres said Dillon would then go up and be the target. Demetres said the conversation that Dre had with him really rubbed him the wrong way. Demetres brought up that Dre is still hurt because she wasn’t told about The Six sooner. He said she needs to get over it. Ika said Dre must kind of like her if she tried to get Demetres to save her. Ika thinks Dre hates Demetres but not her.
12:00-1:00 PM: Ika spoke to Dre, telling her that Demetres assured her that Dre loves her. Ika said it was always the three of them in her mind. Dre said she didn’t doubt that Ika loved her. Ika said Demetres teared up when saying that he thinks Dre wants him to go home. Ika claimed to have told Demetres that Dre’s love for her will transfer to him in the event that she leaves. Demetres joined them. They discussed needing to get one more vote. Dillon and William were mentioned as possible options. Ika explained that she will not trust that she has Dillon’s vote since he didn’t even tell Emily that she was leaving. Demetres suggested that they need to get Kevin on board somehow. Dre said Dillon trusts Demetres and wants to work with him. Demetres pointed out that if Jackie goes, he and Ika will remain a shield and will go on the block over everyone. Dre said she told Dillon that and he seemed very receptive.
1:00-2:00 PM: In the living room, Dre told Dillon that she wanted to be loyal to the people she is loyal to when she got in the house. She explained that she does not like the player she became in the game. Dre said she will not be turning her back on Ika. Dre said Ika is her girl and she cares about actions more than she cares about what has been said about her. Dre said Dillon can make his own decision about what is best for his game. Dre said Ika and Demetres will get far if they stay together, given that Demetres wins everything. Dillon thinks that Jackie is a bigger threat than Ika since she knows all of the days, everyone who won veto, who play in each competition and so on. Dre said she cannot see Ika turning on those who vote to keep her, so they have to stay solid with the four if they decide to keep Ika. Dre admitted that getting rid of Ika is a good move for Dillon’s game since it will bring Demetres closer to him. He agreed. Dillon said Dre was talking about turning up and evicting Ika just a day ago. Dre said she could do that but she would be pissed if Ika were to do the same to her. Dre told Dillon that Kevin said Ika never threw her or William under the bus. She said Kevin also told her that the alliance lost trust in Ika because they thought that she was getting closer to Dre than them. Dillon asked who Dre would choose, him or Ika and Demetres. Dre assured Dillon that she would choose him. Both agreed that they would vote Demetres out in the Final 4 if they all made it that far. Dre said Demetres trusts Dillon but Ika is a bit unsure of him. She suggested that keeping Ika would be the proof Ika needs to see that Dillon is willing to work with her. Dre said she wants Kevin to leave next. Dillon said they should keep Ika since that’s another person who would go after Kevin over them. Dillon asked if they should nominate Kevin and William then. Dre said yes but wasn’t sure if she could nominate Kevin. Dillon said she could nominate Karen instead since Kevin would go over her. While Dre and Dillon spoke, Ika told Kevin that she is not coming after him. She said Dre and Dillon are in the best positions in the house. Kevin said he doesn’t trust Ika completely but he knows that she will not come after him next week. Ika said she trusts Kevin 80%. Ika told Kevin that she wont forget how people treated her while she was at her lowest point. She talked about how people abandoned her when she went on the block and then came back to her once Demetres won the veto. She told Kevin that whatever deal these people made with her, they will break it once he is no longer in power. Kevin said Jackie will nominate him next to Demetres. Ika agreed. She assured Kevin that she will be loyal to him if she stays. The two discussed that it has been a great season and they need it to have a great winner, which would be Ika, Demetres or Kevin. Ika said she loves the game so much that she is willing to drag Kevin to the end so that there is not a bad winner. Kevin asked how they will get the votes to keep Ika. Ika said she has Demetres and she thinks she has Dre, since Dre told her Demetres will go to Dillon and Kevin to pick everyone off if she goes. Kevin said they need Demetres, Dre and William to vote for Ika. Kevin said William wont go against what he and Dre want. Ika said she is willing to put Dillon and Dre up next week if Kevin thinks that’s what is best. He said he wouldn’t expect her to nominate Dre. Ika said she would since nobody will put her up and everyone will go home over her if they are sitting on the block next to her. Ika pointed out that Dre abandoned her while she was on the block. Kevin said this is business and one of the three of them have to win. Kevin said Ika is better for his game than Jackie is. Kevin said he doesn’t want to push William too hard but he will talk to him about keeping Ika. Kevin gave Ika his word that he wants her to stay. He said Ika, Demetres and himself are now the “Business Partners". Ika said their goal is to win the game. Kevin told Ika not to give up on Dillon and Karen yet since she may be able to get a 5-0 vote. Ika let Kevin know that Dre mentioned his name as the person they need to get out of the house first. Ika said they cannot have distrust no matter who they see each other talking to. Kevin agreed and said Ika and Demetres can throw him under the bus to get information. Ika swore to God that she will not screw Kevin over. Kevin said he knows he has a relationship with William but he will choose Dre over him.
2:00-3:00 PM: Demetres and Kevin spoke while playing pool. Demetres said it’s worse for everyone other than them to have Ika stay. Kevin said that’s why he was freaking out before nominations since he was making everyone else happy. Demetres talked about how they could have been a four if he could have trusted Bruno. Kevin admitted that Demetres probably made the right move in taking Bruno out. Kevin said Demetres shouldn’t take Bruno on the card ride because he will already have Bruno’s jury vote as long as he is not in the Final 2. Demetres and Kevin agreed that Jackie is likely going after the two of them if she stays. Demetres suggested that if someone like Karen asks why they should get rid of Jackie, they can say that Ika hasn’t won anything and does not know her days very well. In the bathroom, Karen told Dillon that they will lose Kevin if Ika stays. She said Kevin would team up with Ika and Demetres to come after them if that happens. Karen said she has thought about that even though she wants Jackie to go. They agreed that Jackie knows the days better and she is more likely to win a competition than Ika is. Karen asked which way William is voting. Dillon said he will vote Ika out. Karen said they will have the numbers to get Ika out then. Karen told Dillon that Ika and Demetres now know that they shouldn’t have bumped her below Jackie. Dillon said Kevin told him that he is fine with either Ika or Jackie going. Karen thinks Kevin would prefer to send Ika out. Dillon said Dre really trusts him. Karen said she can see that but she can also see that Dre is trying to work her way above her. Dillon assured Karen that she doesn’t have to worry about that. Karen said don’t try to get above her or you will be going too.
3:00-4:00 PM: Dillon and Karen agreed that Ika and Demetres need to be split up. Dillon said that in doing that, Demetres will come to him. Karen said not to think that way since Dillon would be voting Demetres’ girl out. Karen explained that Dre has to vote Ika out too so that they all get the blood on their hands. Karen said Dillon’s job is to get Dre to vote Ika out. Karen doesn’t think that Jackie would come after either of them if she stays and wins HoH. Dillon said he doubts that Dre will vote Ika out. Karen asked if Dillon will let her know which way he is voting. Dillon said yes. Karen said they can’t be fools since Ika has been in the HoH room talking to Kevin. Karen said she really wants the vets to go. Karen doesn’t feel bad about going after Ika now that they “loaded up” against her first. Dillon said he wants to find out what William and Kevin are thinking. Meanwhile, Kevin told William that it might be better for both of them to keep Ika, though they would be tougher to deal with the longer they stay. Kevin asked who Jackie would go after. They agreed that Jackie would go after Kevin but not William. William thinks that Ika would go after Kevin if she stays. Kevin said he is in a horrible spot. Kevin told William that his friends are in the jury house. Dillon joined them. They discussed that Ika and Demetres are pitching that they will remain a target above everyone if they stay. Dillon asked if Kevin and William are on the same page. Kevin said not really since Jackie is going after him but she is not going after William. William said he needs to talk to Ika in order to see what she would do next week. Dillon let Kevin and William know that Ika was planning on nominating the two of them going into this week. William said he doesn’t think that Jackie would nominate Dillon. Dillon said he doesn’t want it to be a 3-2 vote regardless of which way it goes. Kevin and William agreed. Kevin pointed out that Jackie hasn’t won anything but she has been close, while Ika has been terrible in competitions. Kevin asked what Karen wants. Dillon said she wants both Ika and Jackie to go. Kevin said he wanted Ika or Demetres to go at the start of the week, but Jackie is pissed at him and could be vengeful. Dillon said Jackie is the bigger threat to win competitions. He added that nobody knows where her head is at. Kevin mentioned that Jackie knows the days better than anyone. Out in the backyard, Demetres told Dillon he is not scared of taking strong people to the end. Demetres said that is his only shot at getting to the end. Demetres added that Ika is in the same boat. Ika joined them and said she and Dre talked about the need for them to stay four strong. Dillon said he had a conversation with Dre about that earlier as well. Demetres said that if they have three votes, William would jump on board too. Ika said Karen doesn’t like Jackie but she is probably scared of Demetres. Demetres said he is regretting having put up Karen over Jackie, but he gave Jackie his word.
4:00-5:00 PM: Karen asked Kevin for his thoughts on the vote. Kevin said Ika and Demetres are huge targets if they stay as a pair. Karen said she wants both Ika and Jackie to go. Karen mentioned people are not thinking about what is best for Kevin’s game. Kevin said they shouldn’t be. Kevin told Karen that the voters should decide who is better for their individual games. Kevin said Jackie is a better competitor than Ika is. Karen mentioned Dre is in Dillon’s ear about keeping Ika, but she asked if he really wants to betray Kevin. Kevin said there is no betraying him since he is fine with whatever decision is made. Karen said Jackie is freaking her out right now. Karen worried that Dre is burying her with Ika and that is why Ika has not campaigned to her thus far. Dillon, Demetres and Ika continued to discussed being four strong with Dre. Ika said they are all playing for HoH and all four of them will be moving forward if they win. Dillon said they will have control of the votes even if one of them is in power. Demetres and Dillon think that this week will be a double eviction. After Dillon left, Ika told Demetres that she doesn’t trust Dillon. Ika said she thinks that they should stick with Kevin as the Business Partners moving forward. Ika said the three of them deserve to win the game. Demetres agreed. Ika thinks Dillon will tell them what they want to hear to their faces even though he is debating who he wants to keep. In the bedroom, Jackie told William that she wants to target Demetres next week since he will win his way to the end. Jackie said Kevin unfortunately is an option as well. Jackie said she would probably nominate Demetres and Kevin. Jackie explained that those two seem to be coming after her so she would have to strike first if she gets the opportunity to do so. Back outside, Ika told Demetres that Kevin is in a great spot since they will keep him safe if they win, so they will have to turn their backs on people who think they are working with them. Demetres said Kevin will have them in front of him and he will also have William on the side. Demetres said they need to keep Kevin because if one of them happens to get picked off, they need someone else to go on the block next to them that they may be able to stay over. Demetres and Ika agreed that Kevin is more deserving than the others and they are okay with losing to him. Demetres said he wants Dre to go first. Dillon is the other one that he is considering targeting. Back in the HoH room, Dillon, Karen and Kevin discussed that Ika does not know the days for a potential competition. Dillon said Jackie is the better competitor. Dillon said Demetres cannot win everything so he will go eventually. Dillon told Karen and Kevin that as of right now he thinks that Jackie has to go. Dillon said the competitors are the ones that can beat them in the game. Afterwards, Kevin told William that it may be best for William to keep Jackie and for him to keep Ika. William let Kevin know that Jackie said she would nominate him next to Demetres. For now, William said he would like to stick with evicting Jackie.
5:00-6:00 PM: Karen told Dillon that she will vote Jackie out if that’s what he wants to do. Dillon said he feels like that is the best play. He added that it’s the only way to make it a unanimous vote. Karen asked who Ika and Demetres are targeting. Dillon said they would go after Kevin and William. Karen said that evicting Jackie goes with what she originally wanted, though she considered not doing it because she was worried about betraying Kevin. Dillon said he wants Jackie to go because she knows the days too well. Karen talked about going on the block in the event that Dre wins HoH. Dillon said Kevin would leave over her. Karen thought Dillon would go up next to her if Kevin were to win the veto. Dillon disagreed. He said Demetres would go up before he would. Dillon called Ika the glue between Dre and Demetres. Karen said that’s why she said Ika should go, but she doesn’t want it to be a 3-2 vote with them in the minority. The two discussed their plan for nominations. Dillon quickly found out that he doesn’t have many options. He said he would nominate William next to someone. Karen originally said she wouldn’t nominate Kevin. She later changed that and said she would nominate Kevin and William. Dillon said the same. Karen ran through a bunch of Final 4 scenarios from the perspective of various houseguests. She explained to Dillon that everyone is playing everyone at this point. She said the only one Dillon can trust is her. Karen thinks that Kevin made the same deal with Ika and Demetres that he made with the two of them. They left things off saying that Jackie needs to go. In the have-not room, the Business Partners had a meeting. Kevin told Ika and Demetres to tell people that they will nominate him. He said they have enough trust in each other to use each other’s names. Ika told Kevin that they will keep William around for him since they want to show that they are serious about working together and it would only be fair for Kevin to have someone as well. Kevin asked if he can trust Dillon. Ika said no since he is pushing for a four person alliance with Demetres, Dre and herself. Kevin said Ika should go along with that in order to get Dillon’s vote. Demetres said Dillon is worse than Jackie in that he is flip flopping. Ika told Kevin that Dre wants him out so bad that she even talked about nominating Kevin next to William to ensure that Kevin would leave.
6:00-7:00 PM: Dillon told Dre that he feels as though Ika and Demetres made a deal with Kevin to keep him safe. Dre questioned why they would have done that over talking to Dillon. Dillon said maybe it’s because they see him as a bigger threat than Kevin. Dillon mentioned seeing Kevin and Ika high fiving and smiling in the bathroom. Dillon isn’t sure who anyone will nominate if they are all making deals with each other. Dre said Kevin had a deal with Ika and Demetres but he put them on the block, so deals don’t mean anything. Dillon said he feels as though The Six has now become “The Three” and they are getting played by Ika and Demetres. Dre said Ika will tell her about the deal with Kevin if she is not playing her. Dre said she has until Wednesday to do so. Dre thinks Ika is going to ride or die with whoever votes to keep her this week.
10:00-11:00 PM: Dillon asked Ika who they should nominate if Jackie leaves. Ika said Kevin and William. Dillon agreed. Dillon said he feels bad because he has such good relationship with Karen, referring to the fact that he has a four that doesn’t include her. Ika said she likes Karen a lot too but she has Demetres’, Dre’s and Dillon’s back more. Dillon said he will not be able to be the one to take Karen out. He said it would ruin his relationship with her so he will have to throw the Final 5 HoH competition in order to let someone else take her out. The two talked about needing to win the upcoming HoH competition. Dillon said it’s the four of them against Karen and William. Dillon told Ika that Karen is putting Kevin and William on the block as well. Ika spoke to Dre next. She told her that she doesn’t trust Dillon fully. Ika explained that Dillon seemed happy when she mentioned earlier that she might not have William’s vote. Ika suspects that Dillon wants her to go so that he will have Demetres all to himself. Ika also talked about not liking how Dillon is questioning her about having something with Kevin when he put them on the block this week and they put him on the block last week. Ika said Dillon is all over the place since he had previously said the two of them should work with Demetres and Kevin, then now he is all about the four with Dre, Demetres and herself.
11:00-12:00 AM: Dillon asked Dre if they are keeping Ika. Dre said yeah. Dillon said he thinks so too. Dre said she thinks that Karen wants to keep Ika as well. Dillon agreed. Dre said they will have to see how things go over the next three days. Dillon asked what’s going to change. Dre suggested that new information could come up that leads to Dillon not trusting Ika. Dillon said they told him that they are solid with him so he doesn’t get what would come up in the next few days. Dre pointed out that Dillon said he saw a high five between Ika and Kevin earlier that put doubt in his mind. Dillon clarified that he saw that last week, not today. Dre said she will be happy to keep Ika. Dillon argued that she seems like she would be happy to see Ika go. He brought up how she has gone back and forth over it for five days, then now she wants him to keep an open mind to evicting her this week. Dillon suggested that Dre wants Ika to go but doesn’t want to be the one who takes her out. Dre denied it.
