BBCAN5 Day 56 - Kevin nominates Ika and Demetres for eviction
May 5, 2017
8:00-9:00 AM: Dillon asked Kevin what the plan for today is. Kevin said the nomination ceremony is taking place and it will be Ika and Demetres going on the block.
9:00-10:00 AM: Kevin told Dillon that they have to beat Demetres in the veto competition. Dillon agreed. Dillon told Kevin that he is in such a beautiful spot since everybody will vote for him if he makes it to the Final 2. Kevin admitted that he has a lot of friends in the jury house. Dillon said he doesn’t see anyone beating Kevin in the Final 2. Kevin said that’s why he had to win yesterday or else he would be joining those people in the jury house. The two discussed that Demetres is the bigger threat than Ika since Ika doesn’t know her days. Kevin said if they can get Demetres out, the Final 4 HoH will be Dillon and Karen against Ika. They agreed that Dillon and Karen can beat Ika, while it would be a lot harder to beat Demetres. If Demetres wins the veto, Kevin said they will send Ika home. Kevin said Ika and Demetres both survived last week but there is no way for them both to survive this week. Kevin said he will vote one of them out if it comes down to a tiebreaker. If Ika wins the veto, Kevin said that’s fine since he can put up Karen and then he and Dillon can vote to evict Demetres. Kevin stressed that Demetres has to go since he will have two chances to fight for his safety if he makes it to the Final 4. Kevin told Dillon that he would beat Karen in the Final 2. Kevin said it’s tough to say if Dillon would beat Ika since the jury doesn’t like her but they don’t know if the jury respects Ika. As for Demetres, both Dillon and Kevin agreed that Dillon would not be able to beat him as of now. Dillon said he honestly doesn’t care what happens if he makes it to the Final 2. Kevin said he wonders if Ika and Demetres will come make a pitch to him today. Kevin told Dillon there is absolutely nothing that they could say to him to change his decision. Dillon let Kevin know that they said they were not going to make a pitch.
4:00-5:00 PM: Feeds returned after being down a couple of hours for a task. In the pantry, Kevin told Demetres that he wants to win so badly but he knows that even getting to the Final 5 is a big accomplishment. Kevin mentioned he almost feels bad to Big Brother cause there are not many conversations to be had at this point. Demetres said Kevin is a smart enough guy and it doesn’t matter what he says to him, since he cannot take Kevin off of his easiest path to the end. Kevin agreed. Demetres then went to Ika. He said Kevin was trying to get him to say something by bringing up that there aren’t a lot of talks taking place. Demetres pointed out that this will be his fourth time on the block. He admitted that he feels a little defeated. Demetres said that he will think about the $100,000 and how this veto competition is worth $100,000.
5:00-6:00 PM: Demetres let Ika know that he tried to emphasize “easiest path" to Kevin. Demetres believes that Kevin’s easiest path to the end is with Ika in the Final 4. If Demetres wins the veto, he hopes that they can convince Kevin to target Dillon. Both Ika and Demetres said they would take Dillon out over Ika if they were in Kevin’s shoes. Demetres said the only reason that Kevin would take Ika out is if he is making an emotional decision. While Demetres doesn’t think that Kevin would be illogical, Ika disagrees. Ika thinks that it would have been very difficult for Kevin to nominate them if they had not put him up during the triple eviction. Demetres said he still stands by his decision. Ika argued that a logical player would not nominate them. Demetres disagreed and said that they are the stronger of the two pairs.
6:00-7:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Dillon told Kevin that he is likely to win HoH next week. He said if he keeps Kevin safe, he will win since neither he nor Ika know the days well. Kevin swore that he will take Dillon to the Final 2 over Karen if it comes down to it. Kevin said no one wants to take him to the end. Dillon said it’s because everyone knows that Kevin will win the game. Kevin admitted that he would probably have the votes over anyone due to his friends being in the jury house. Kevin said he would like to see Ika and Demetres leave consecutively after what they did to him during the triple eviction. Kevin said he doesn’t want to go to the Final 2 with Karen after everything that has gone on this season. Dillon said he wouldn’t mind taking Kevin to the end. The two discussed that it’s imperative Demetres does not win the veto. Meanwhile, Karen headed to the bedroom and told Ika and Demetres that Dillon and Kevin are running scenarios. Karen said Dillon commented earlier about hoping that Kevin takes him to the Final 2 if they make it to the Final 3 together. Ika, Demetres and Karen discussed that Kevin has not talked to them about going to the end together. Ika figured that Dillon and Kevin were making a Final 2. Ika and Demetres worked on Karen. Ika told Karen that Demetres is her best shot at getting to the Final 2 if she leaves this week. Karen said she knows that. Demetres told Karen that he would take her to the Final 2 over Dillon and Kevin. Ika told Karen that Dillon wanted her out so bad last week that he suggested nominating Karen as the replacement nominee in order to ensure it happens. Ika then talked about Dillon pushing for Karen to go on the block last night once Kevin won the veto. The two discussed that Kevin’s logical move would be to target Dillon if Demetres wins the veto. Karen said Kevin will probably put her on the block so that she cannot vote with Demetres to save Ika. Ika said she would never ask Karen to vote Dillon out. They talked about it being unbelievable that Dillon is in the HoH room making a deal with Kevin. Ika reiterated that Dillon wanted Karen on the block last night. Ika explained that her gut told her Dillon needed to go over Dre. She said she didn’t think Karen would have went for it. Karen said she wouldn’t have been on board at the time but now she would have been on board with getting Dillon out after thinking everything over. Ika said she knew that Dre would not have had any connections in the house, whereas she knew that Dillon would run back to Kevin.
7:00-8:00 PM: Ika told Karen that Dillon made a deal during Kevin’s HoH, swearing on his niece that he would not put Kevin on the block if he were to win. Ika said Dillon makes a deal every week and she knows what Dre meant when she called Dillon the male version of Jackie. Ika said Kevin is going to want to keep Dillon over her since he knows that he needs Dillon to go after Demetres. Karen said it’s not over yet since Kevin has to see that leaving two guys and two girls in the house is better than leaving three girls and one guy in the house. Karen said she is glad that Neda and Sindy can see that she and Ika are still in the house after making a deal on night one. Karen said they are the ones who remained loyal.
8:00-9:00 PM: Ika and Demetres spoke to Karen about saving all three of them this week. Ika and Demetres said they will throw the veto to Karen if they can, then she can save one of them and Kevin will be forced to nominate Dillon. Karen and whoever she saves would then control the votes. Karen said it would be the greatest move ever if they were to pull it off. Demetres said Dillon can’t be that stupid that he would take Kevin to Final 3 if he wins the Final 4 veto. Ika and Karen told Demetres that Dillon is fine with settling for $20,000. The three talked about how they would be the only ones competing for HoH if they are able to get Dillon out this week, then they just have to win the veto in order to get Kevin out. In the living room, Dillon asked Demetres who he would take to the end, he or Karen, if he had to choose. Demetres said he hadn’t really thought about it. When Dillon said Demetres would probably take Karen, Demetres said Dillon would be more deserving. Dillon said Demetres would probably beat him. Demetres said he probably would and therefore he would take Dillon to the end because he would rather give Dillon $20,000. Demetres said he is not about bringing Karen to the end just because he can win. Demetres said he will bring Dillon to the Final 2 if Ika is gone. Demetres and Dillon agreed that Kevin will have the votes to beat anyone. Dillon said the only way to get Kevin out is if the two of them team up. Demetres said he has to win the veto. He mentioned that they could keep him if Ika wins the veto, though it would be tough. Demetres pointed out that Dillon has to think that he would be the only one left who could beat Kevin if he is in the house with Ika and Karen.
9:00-10:00 PM: The nomination ceremony took place. For the second straight week, Kevin nominated Ika and Demetres for eviction. Demetres told Ika about his talk with Dillon. He said Dillon may want to keep him if he wins the veto, since he doesn’t think he can handle Kevin on his own. Demetres thinks Dillon’s ideal Final 3 would be with Ika and Karen. Ika agreed. Demetres said Dillon is trying to cover himself in case he wins the veto.
10:00-11:00 PM: Ika confronted Kevin about his nomination speech in which he mentioned Ika and Demetres breaking promises. Ika shouted at Kevin throughout the confrontation. She said she knows for a fact that Kevin has broken promises, so don’t make the speech about broken promises. Ika asked how many promises Kevin has broken. Kevin said a lot to a lot of people. Ika told Kevin to be honest and say that Demetres will beat him every time in a competition, so he is scared. Kevin said Demetres put him up during the triple and Ika is an amazing player. Ika again told Kevin to say that he is scared. Kevin said he is not scared and he is not running anywhere. Ika insisted that Kevin is scared of their games. Ika told the other houseguests that they are our of their mind if they take Kevin to Final 2. She said Kevin will win every time due to the bitter jury. Ika told Kevin that his game doesn’t match up to hers but he will win because the jury is so bitter. Ika told Kevin that Demetres will kick his ass every time, so Kevin better put some respect on their names. After cooling down in the bedroom for a bit, Ika returned to the kitchen with the rest of the houseguests. In the pantry, Ika informed Karen that Dillon approached Demetres before nominations in order to discuss a Final 2. Demetres said Dillon asked him if he will take him to the end over Karen. Demetres said he had to make it believable that he would take Dillon to the end, so he said things like Karen doesn’t need the money. Karen said she understands.
11:00-12:00 AM: Karen asked Dillon if Kevin wants to keep Ika over Demetres. Dillon said yeah. Karen asked if Dillon wants to get Kevin out if they get the chance to. Dillon said yes. He told Karen that he would prefer to have Demetres there over Kevin. If nominations stay the same, Dillon said they have to vote Ika out. Karen said that will give them a better chance to get Kevin out. Dillon said he doesn’t want Kevin there since he doesn’t want him to win. Dillon mentioned that Kevin is saying he will take him to the Final 2. Dillon let Karen know that he doesn’t believe it for a second. Dillon then told Demetres that he will have to vote Ika out if nominations stay the same. Dillon explained that they need each other in the game in order to get Kevin out. Upstairs, Karen told Ika that Dillon said Demetres deserves to be in the house. She said she believes Dillon when he says that. Demetres joined them. He filled Karen in on his talk with Dillon. Demetres assured her that he is just trying to ensure that Dillon will choose him over Kevin. Karen told Ika and Demetres that Dillon said they will keep Demetres over Ika if it comes down to it. Karen swore to God that she wants the right person to win. Karen told Demetres that he is the one she wants to win because he deserves it. Karen added that she does not want Kevin Martin to win. Karen told Demetres that she doesn’t want him to give up or feel defeated. After listening to what Karen had to say, Demetres said that is the sweetest thing he has ever heard. Karen said she doesn’t want some loser getting the money just because their dirtbag friends are in jury.
12:00-1:00 AM: Ika told Karen that if the veto competition comes down to her and either Demetres or herself, they will let her win. Ika said Karen can then take Demetres off of the block and they can vote Dillon out. Ika told Karen that it’s her dream to be there for the awards show. Karen told Ika and Demetres that they will be there, they will ignore Kevin Martin, and the three of them will have a good time. After Karen left, Ika told Demetres that she loves Karen. Demetres said he did not see it coming when Karen told him that she wants him to win. Ika said it will be the biggest move of the season if Karen uses the veto on Demetres and then votes Dillon out. Ika said she cannot believe that they put Karen on the block over Jackie. Ika said Karen saved her life in the game twice, only to have them nominate her and ignore her. Ika said they don’t deserve Karen. Before heading to bed, Karen rejoined them and said they are going to win tomorrow and change the whole game. Karen said Demetres is their best hope to get Kevin out. She made it clear that getting Kevin out is the most important thing to her in the game.
