BBCAN5 Day 6 - Mark is evicted; Demetres wins HoH

March 16, 2017

9:00-10:00 PM: Following tonight’s eviction episode, the live feeds launched. It was soon revealed that Demetres is the new HoH. In the bedroom, Ika asked Sindy who has Demetres; Cassandra or herself. Sindy said that Ika has Demetres. Bruno and Neda joined in on the conversation. Neda said that Cassandra has got to go. It was discussed that Cassandra wants to backdoor Bruno or Neda. Bruno, Ika, Neda and Sindy decided that it would be best to tell Demetres that Bruno and Kevin voted against him only to hide the fact that they are all working together. After Bruno left, Ika, Neda and Sindy discussed the plan for the week. Neda suggested that Demetres should go ahead with nominating Dillon as he planned. Should Dillon win the veto, Neda said they could then target Cassandra. The girls agreed that Cassandra is not to be trusted ever again, due to an incident that took place prior to tonight’s eviction. Meanwhile, Cassandra spoke to Kevin about what had happened. Cassandra felt that if the veterans really had her back, they should have stuck up for her when Mark was throwing out what she claimed to be lies about her. Cassandra insisted that she is loyal to the other returnees. Kevin assured Cassandra that he understands how she feels. He explained that he voted to keep Mark because he felt a sense of loyalty towards him. On the other hand, Cassandra said she wanted to keep Demetres because he is strong and he would not go after them. Cassandra let Kevin know that she wants to work with him and with Bruno, though she feels as though she is now on the bottom. Kevin told Cassandra that she shouldn’t feel that way. Kevin said he feels a weird connection with Cassandra and thinks that they could go deep into the game together should they choose to do so. However, Kevin admitted that they did not get off to the best start in week one. In the pantry, Ika went to work on doing damage control for Bruno and Kevin with Demetres. She explained that they voted the other way in order to hide the fact that they are working together. Bruno had already spoke to Demetres about that as well. Demetres felt as though it was a lie since Bruno spoke to him prior to that and made no mention of the plan, only apologizing for screwing up by voting against him. Ika said Neda had filled her in on the plan. Demetres thought that Neda was lying as well, and that Bruno only brought that story up after others had thought of it. Demetres said he will tell Bruno what he wants to hear, but Ika is the one he is going to the end with. Demetres mentioned Dillon as a potential target of his, explaining that it would look bad if he didn’t follow through on going after him like he said he would.

10:00-11:00 PM: Ika headed upstairs to fill Neda and Sindy in on her talk with Demetres. Ika revealed that Demetres thinks both Bruno and Neda are lying about the reason the guys voted the other way. Neda regretted having told Demetres that, though the girls agreed that they wouldn’t have been in this position had Bruno told them about his earlier talk with Demetres. Ika mentioned that Kevin is sketching her out since he really wanted Mark to stay. She also said that they are not going to be safe as long as Cassandra and Dallas are around. Ika figures that Demetres will not be willing to nominate Cassandra. Cassandra then pulled Ika aside to talk. Cassandra admitted that she doesn’t think Neda likes her. Cassandra attributed to jealousy on Neda’s part, seeing as Neda was viewed as the strong, strategic Persian player, then Cassandra took on that role last season. Cassandra asked Ika who she thought was going to receive immunity from Canada. Ika said she thought Cassandra was going to get it. Cassandra agreed. They then discussed that Neda may have received it due to the edit that she got in the first week. Cassandra discussed how Mark made her out to be a liar. She said that she did not lie about anything other than that she likes the veterans. Cassandra said she only likes Gary and Ika. The two agreed that they do not trust Kevin. Cassandra said she wants to work with Ika and Neda. Cassandra wanted to speak with Neda. Ika then went to get Neda, telling her that Cassandra will attempt to reel her back in. Ika suggested that Neda play along with it. Cassandra asked Neda how she is feeling. Neda said she is fine as long as they are okay. Cassandra said they are. She added that the girls cannot be petty. After Cassandra left the room, Neda mentioned that Cassandra is being petty. Ika let Neda know that Cassandra talked about reeling her back in. Neda said that’s because she can no longer be backdoored next week. Ika and Neda agreed that they were fans of Cassandra last season, and they wanted to work with her, but Cassandra burned that bridge.

11:00-12:00 AM: Sindy joined Ika and Neda in the bedroom. Ika informed the girls that Cassandra wants to work with her, Dallas and Demetres. Neda worried that Bruno may actually get backdoored since Demetres does not buy the story that they tried to sell to him about the votes. Ika said that will not happen on her watch. As they had discussed previously, Ika and Neda told Sindy that Cassandra ruined things for herself since she could have worked with them. The game talked died down for a bit once Demetres was given access to his HoH room. In place of a letter from home, he got to see a video message from his parents.

12:00-1:00 AM: After the houseguests received beer and wine, they started to scatter throughout the house. Ika and Sindy headed to the bedroom to talk. Ika pointed out that they live in the same city and therefore she cannot screw Sindy over. Sindy seconded that, saying they cannot divide the city. Ika said she is happy that the two of them and Neda are sticking together. Ika said those two girls must really like her in order to give her a second chance in the game. Ika promised Sindy that she will have her back in the game no matter what. As for Kevin, Ika said she cannot read the guy but she will trust him since Sindy trusts him. Ika listed off Bruno, Demetres, Kevin, Neda and Sindy as people that she would like to work with. In the other bedroom, Dallas and Emily discussed the potential nominations. Dallas expects that Dillon will go on the block next to one of them. He told Emily that their best bet once one of them is safe is to try to get people to take Karen out over Dillon. Dallas pointed out that the older houseguests don’t tend to last long in the game, so they may have a shot at flipping things.

1:00-2:00 AM: Cassandra told Kevin that she is looking to find someone to work with and go to the end of the game with, then once they are in the Final 2 she doesn’t care about the money because she doesn’t need. Cassandra said she thought Kevin was that person, but she doesn’t know about that after week one. Kevin said “let’s do it”. Cassandra said she is the most loyal person. The two discussed that they have trusted each other the entire time. Kevin assured Cassandra that they will work together very closely in the game moving forward. Demetres spoke to Kevin about how he and Bruno flipped on him last minute. Demetres admitted that it hurt, though he acknowledged that the two had his back for part of the week. Demetres revealed that he would like to go after the people that he knows he cannot trust at all, while hoping to repair his relationships with Bruno and Kevin as time goes on. The two discussed that Kevin was at least up front and honest about his vote and the fact that he flipped. Kevin apologized and said he would understand if Demetres views him as someone who is not trustworthy. They agreed that they can be of benefit to each other in the game moving forward.
