BBCAN5 Day 60
May 9, 2017
1:00-2:00 PM: Karen told Ika that Kevin’s perception of reality is so distorted at this stage. Karen said Kevin cannot be outplaying them. Karen said Kevin made the dumbest move in Big Brother Canada history. Karen told Ika that Kevin actually made the mistake twice, once by sending Jackie home and then again this week by nominating Dillon. Ika said she thinks that Kevin honestly believed Karen was going to save Dillon and then he could have broken the tie. Karen thinks she threw Kevin off by acting surprised when he said he wasn’t going to use the veto. Karen figures Kevin then thought she wouldn’t want to be going on the block so the idea to nominate Dillon was then in his head.
2:00-3:00 PM: Dillon told Karen that Ika and Demetres are not going to take her to the end. Karen said nobody is. Dillon said he was going to take her to the end if he had the chance. Karen asked if Kevin has said anything else about how he thinks the vote is going. Dillon said Kevin has not said a thing. Karen brought up that she said in Week 3 that Kevin will win the game if he stays in the house. Karen mentioned she knew they would live to regret the decision to keep Kevin during Dillon’s HoH reign, though she didn’t expect Dillon to break his word on his niece. Karen said if they had been able to take Kevin out, it would have been the perfect scenario with the two of them, Ika, and Demetres battling it out in the Final 4. Karen suggested that Kevin is lying and trying to be a big shot by keeping Ika and Demetres around for another week. Karen said Kevin made a punk ass bitch move since he could have taken Ika and Demetres out on Day 55 and Day 62. Karen told Dillon that Kevin is using him. Dillon asked how he is being used. Karen said Kevin convinced him not to fight for the veto. Karen questioned why she is not on the block next to Demetres. Dillon said it’s because Kevin, Ika and Demetres are working together and have been for a while. Karen said that’s not true and Dillon knows it. Karen said she is not giving Kevin the power to have the satisfaction of doing what he wants to do. Dillon asked if Ika and Karen are voting for Demetres to stay so that Kevin does not have the power. Karen confirmed that they are. She added that she will not give Kevin the satisfaction of making her decisions in this game. Karen insisted that Kevin wants Dillon to go.
3:00-4:00 PM: Kevin said the only way for Karen to believe he wants Dillon to go home is for her to “accidentally” hear him monologue. Kevin said he isn’t going to do anything right now, but he knows that Dillon is leaving at the moment. Kevin said he wants to try to change that at some point. Kevin mentioned that he is going to try to set a “Karen trap” tomorrow if she is still planning to vote Dillon out. Kevin said it’s a Hail Mary. Kevin explained that he will look through the crack of his HoH room door. When he sees Karen walk by, he is going to start monologuing and he will speak loudly enough so that Karen can hear him. Kevin said Karen only cares about seeing him lose. He talked about needing to convince her that his intentions were to get Dillon out the whole time. When Karen walks by, Kevin said he will say “these people are such idiots. Dillon has been my target this entire week, and I have got Karen to vote out her best friend, Dillon. Karen is doing my dirty work. Karen is doing my job”. Kevin said he will say it just loud enough so Karen hears it, because the thought of doing his dirty work will disgust Karen. Kevin went on to say that he will add that he does not want a split vote and does not want any blood on his hands. If Karen hears it and believes it, Kevin thinks that Karen might split the vote in order to spite him. If Karen forces a tie, Kevin said he can then vote Demetres out.
6:00-7:00 PM: Demetres told Ika he hopes that they both get out of this week alive. Demetres said it would be crazy if that happens. Demetres pointed out that Kevin won HoH, neither of them won the PoV, and yet they still may escape this week. Ika attributed it to the personal connections and relationships that they have built throughout the season. Demetres thinks the two of them came off as more authentic than the other houseguests. Ika said Karen is even going against what is best for her game because Demetres is likeable. Ika said it will be crazy if they survive this week. Demetres said it will be because Karen is selfless. Ika thinks that not campaigning to Kevin this week, opting to stay true to Karen, is why Demetres will be staying. She talked about Dillon doing the opposite by spending all of his time with Kevin once he won HoH. Looking ahead to next week, Ika and Demetres said they can leave Karen off of the block initially. Nominations will not matter anyway since it will all come down to who wins the veto. If they win the veto, Ika and Demetres agreed that they would have to use it in order to give themselves the sole vote to evict. Even though Karen wants to evict Kevin, they said they cannot take the chance that she does something else and evicts one of them instead.
8:00-9:00 PM: Demetres told Ika and Karen that Kevin will lose his mastermind edit after this week. Demetres thinks Kevin will look like an idiot. Karen said she hopes so. Ika figures that Kevin may find a way to spin it. Demetres guaranteed that Kevin went into the diary room earlier in the week and said his target is Demetres. Ika disagreed. Karen said Dillon is still convinced that Ika, Demetres and Kevin are working together. Karen relayed her conversation with Dillon back to Ika and Demetres. Karen said Kevin didn’t get rid of one of them because he is an idiot, not cause they are working together. Karen pointed out that Kevin had two opportunities to take one of them out but didn’t. Demetres again said that Kevin’s mastermind edit is gone. Demetres thinks Kevin would have wanted to put evicting one of them on his resume. Ika agreed. She suggested that Kevin didn’t see what was going on between Demetres, Karen and herself. Karen said Dillon didn’t even know until yesterday. Ika and Demetres agreed that Kevin thought there was no way Karen would evict Dillon, which is where he went wrong. Ika asked if Dillon wants Kevin to control his fate. Karen said she said the same thing to him already. Ika said that would be embarrassing. Karen mentioned telling Dillon that Kevin has to evict Dillon now or else he will look like a fool to Canada.
9:00-10:00 PM: Ika told Demetres they have to win the Final 4 PoV or else they are screwed. Ika and Demetres agreed that Kevin would evict one of them if he wins the veto. Ika said Kevin might evict her and take Demetres to the Final 2. Ika thinks Kevin believes he can beat Demetres in the Final 2. Demetres doesn’t think that Kevin wants to take him to the Final 3, because he has a shot at winning the Final 3 HoH competition. Demetres said they have to win the veto competition if they do not want Kevin to win the game. Demetres hopes the competition is one in which they can use their numbers to their advantage. Ika expects it to be a timed competition.
