Big Brother Canada 6 Day 13 - Andrew is evicted; Hamza wins HoH
March 15, 2018
8:00-9:00 PM: During the eviction episode, Andrew was evicted by a unanimous vote of 10-0. Merron and Veronica did not vote. The HoH competition then got underway. The houseguests were paired up. After the pairs were randomly selected, Erica was the odd one out, so she is immune for the week.
10:00-11:00 PM: When feeds returned, we found out that Hamza is the new HoH. Many of the houseguests were emotional after watching Hamza’s video from home. Hamza was crying outside. Meanwhile, Maddy was crying in the bedroom. She told herself that she can do this since nobody wants it as bad as she does. Maddy added that she tried out for five years, and they didn’t let her on the show until now because she was not ready until now. Maddy said she doesn’t know how she is going to take this away from these people, but she will because nobody wants it as bad as she wants it. Ali said she doesn’t feel good at all. Olivia said the same. She said she doesn’t think anyone should feel good since Hamza is such a wild card. Both agreed that they hope to get a chance to play in the veto competition if they are going to be targeted. Outside, Kaela told Derek she doesn’t think that Veronica would let her go up. She said Hamza wants to put Olivia up 100%. They think Hamza is targeting Olivia. Kaela hopes that Veronica will be able to get Ali on the block next to Olivia. Derek thinks Al is the only one to worry about putting something in Hamza’s ear about them. He expects it to get squashed by everyone else even if Ali tries to make that move. Both agreed that Paras is a good one who is so loyal to them. Derek talked about bringing Hamza in tomorrow, seeing if he wants to to create a four person alliance with Jesse and Will. Meanwhile, Veronica and Will discussed that they are loyal to the white room. Will said everyone in that room is genuine. Veronica assured Will that she would never align with Kaela and Derek, so don’t worry if you see her talking to them. She said she knows that she would always be the one voted out with them. Veronica told Maddy and Will that they should make a pact not to talk game with Ali in the same way that they talk game with the people in the white room if they bring her in. The group then discussed that they are the misfits who are going up against the popular kids.
11:00-12:00 AM: Will told Maddy, Paras and Veronica that Olivia is going home. Paras said she loves it. Veronica filled Paras in on the plan to bring Ali in when they save her, but keep her out of their in-depth game talks. Outside, Will told Merron it sucks that he is not in the white room with them. Despite that, Will said Merron is part of them. He said they are going to start dominating. Merron said he would love to be a spy in the red room. However, he said they do not talk around him. Merron said he cannot wait to get them out. Will said they can ask Ali for her vote if they save her this week. Both observed that Ali is tripping right now. Merron thinks they need to take advantage of her vulnerability. Will said they need to make a big game move next week. He suggested getting Olivia out first in order to prevent her and Jesse from getting together. After Olivia, Merron said he wants to take out the showmance. Specifically, Merron said he wants Kaela out. He said the only way it will happen is if they are on the block together. In the kitchen, Kaela discussed with Veronica that getting Ali out is best for their game. Veronica pointed out that getting either Ali or Olivia out is good since they can send the other one out next week. Kaela said they have to make sure that the veto is not used. Kaela revealed to Veronica that she is a rugby player. Kaela said her #1 thing coming into the house was thinking about how cool it would be if there was another rugby player in the house. She said she has played for 11 years, and she still plays. Veronica said that makes so much sense. She said she has goosebumps. Kaela talked about telling herself she would make a Final 2 with the rugby player if there was one. Veronica asked if Kaela would taker to the end over Derek. Kaela said she would 100% because she would be handing over the $100,000 if she took a showmance to the Final 2. Kaela said she would do what Jon did to Neda in a heartbeat. Veronica said she would be happy if Kaela won if she took her to the end, because they would both have a fighting chance. Kaela reiterated that she would take Veronica over a showmance. Veronica said that changes everything. In the bathroom, Will told Johnny that Ali said she doesn’t know if she can trust Johnny. Johnny said that’s crazy to him considering everything that Ali has said to him. Will mentioned that Ali is likely going on the block. Both agreed that they would like to save her. Will said they can start building something soon in order to knock out some big players.
12:00-1:00 AM: In the HoH room, Jesse and Paras discussed their potential showmance. Jesse noted that it’s probably not best for their games. Paras said she doesn’t want him to think that she is not into him. She explained that it’s just that they are in the house. Jesse asked what the cons are. Paras said she doesn’t like PDA, and this would be nationwide PDA. She said she doesn’t want clips of it, and they will jump all over that since there is only one showmance. Both discussed that that’s all that they are being asked about already. On top of that, Paras said she promised her parents that she would behave. Jesse argued that kissing here and there is behaving. Paras told him she doesn’t stop there. Jesse said they are in the best spot in the game. Paras agreed as long as they keep this on the DL. Jesse said they have a legitimate shot at Final 2. Paras said she would get Neda’d, but Jesse said he would take her to the Final 2. In the red room, Kaela told Derek that Veronica said she told Hamza she wants Ali out. She said Hamza is after Olivia but Veronica said Ali has to go up if they are going to do this together. Both agreed that they are willing to throw those two names out there tomorrow. Derek wants everyone to be on the same page when they go talk to Hamza. In the HoH room, Hamza told Ryan that he is going to nominate Olivia for sure. Hamza mentioned needing to win the veto in order to execute his plan. Ryan said this is sounding like last week. Hamza said nobody from the white room is going up, and neither is Merron. Ryan asked if the backdoor plan is Derek or Kaela. Hamza nodded. Ryan then asked if Hamza is putting one of them up and then putting the other up after the veto competition. Hamza nodded again. Ryan asked if he will nominate Derek next to Olivia. Hamza said no. Hamza explained that the only way to get rid of Derek is to backdoor him. Ryan said he would rather get rid of Kaela since she is the social game. Hamza said he knows.
1:00-2:00 AM: Hamza told Merron and Ryan that the reason he wants to nominate Olivia is because she told Maddy to block him in the HoH competition so that he couldn’t get to his fruits. As for Ali, Hamza said she will owe them one if the protect her. Ryan said any of Derek, Kaela, or Olivia going is just fine. He suggested that Olivia is more dangerous long term than the showmance is. Hamza said he wants to put Kaela and Olivia up so that Kaela and Derek have to scramble a bit. Hamza said Kaela and Jesse will be lost if Derek goes. Merron said those two would then get close. Hamza said Jesse would come to them. Ryan said he will never trust Jesse. Hamza said it’s a done deal that Derek, Kaela, or Olivia will be going home this week. Once Ryan left, Merron asked if he will be a have-not. Hamza said yes but told him that he will pick him to get the Wendy’s meal. Merron asked Hamza to explain why Olivia is more dangerous than the showmance. Hamza said Olivia is a marathon runner, she is throwing every competition, she is lingering around, trying to get in good with everyone, and she will slide to the end. Merron argued that those types of players will always lose at the end. Hamza said they will have their choice of who to send home if she is up next to Derek or Kaela. Merron told Hamza that he is the only person he trusts 100%. He added that he trusts Veronica as well. Hamza said he doesn’t trust her but he keeps his enemies close. Hamza mentioned hyping Veronica up by saying he won the competition because of her. Hamza thinks she will annoy everyone by rubbing it in, while he is just chilling. In the white room, the houseguests discussed that they have to collectively make a decision even though they all have their own personal preference over who goes this week. Maddy and Ryan said they should go along with whatever Hamza says. Maddy and Ryan also said they think that Ali can be used this week. Ryan said there is a reason he identified Olivia as his target last week. Veronica said they can use Ali as a vote but they have to be very careful. Paras said she thinks that Hamza might take a shot at Kaela and Derek. Paras asked Ryan if he actually thinks Ali can be pulled. Ryan said he thinks so if she is told that she is on the wrong side of the house. Paras worried that Hamza would blow their cover by saying that he has the numbers. Ryan brought up that Ali knows Derek and Kaela are gunning for her, so she will flip easier than Olivia will. Paras said to be careful what kind of information they give her, because she will have no problem spilling the tea even if she votes with them this week. Ryan suggested focusing the conversation on Derek and Kaela whenever Ali has questions. Paras asked who the bigger threat is between Derek and Kaela. Maddy and Ryan both said Kaela.
2:00-3:00 AM: The white room, The Misfits, came up with nicknames for each other. Hamza is Camza, Ryan is Soda Pop, Maddy is The Cat Whisperer, Paras is The Persian Persuasion, Will is Wacky Will, Veronica is Rotten Ronnie, and Merron is The Hazelnutcase. The group discussed that they are The Misfits. Ryan said there is finally an alliance in the house. Maddy asked if they are that bold to call it an alliance. Ryan said yes. They agreed to do it. Maddy said the others can never hear the word “Misfits” and they can never see their hand signal. Ryan said his top four targets are Derek, Kaela, Erica and Olivia. Maddy agreed. Paras said Derek and Kaela are not that good if one of them goes. Ryan said Kaela should go before Derek. Maddy and Paras went along with that. Paras pitched that nominating Ali and Olivia will take away their votes, as opposed to putting up Olivia next to Derek or Kaela. Ryan said their votes don’t matter since they have the numbers.
