Big Brother Canada 6 Day 16
March 18, 2018
9:00-10:00 AM: Erica told Johnny that people straight up said to her that Olivia is saying she is aligned with the two of them, Ali and Ryan. Johnny said that doesn’t make sense. Both wondered if they should ask her about it. Erica said she doesn’t know who to trust. Johnny said he thinks people have successfully split them all up. He admitted he is not convinced that Derek and Kaela would not put someone from the red room up. Erica said she feels that she can trust Kaela. Johnny said he feels best about her in her group, though it took her a long time to talk game with him. Johnny said he thinks that Derek and Kaela feel like they have a lot of allies but they don’t. Erica said everyone sees the showmance as a target. Erica explained that she would love to work with Kaela but she knows that Kaela would choose Derek over her. Johnny said they had talks with him about working as a three on the first night, then they didn’t talk with him for a long time after that.
10:00-11:00 AM: Johnny asked Olivia if she mentioned to anyone that there is some kind of alliance between the two of them, Ali, Erica and Ryan. Olivia said no because that is not true. Erica said they might have to sit a couple of people down then. Olivia suggested that people make things up in order to see how others react. Erica said she is debating sitting the people down in a room who said that. Olivia said they can all sit down in a room cause that never happened. Outside, Will told Johnny he thinks that Hamza is going to put Ryan up in Jesse’s place in order to send Olivia home. Will said that’s stupid. Will said he is trying to convince Hamza that Jesse is the bigger target. Will said he thinks that Hamza will change his mind. Johnny said he cannot believe that Hamza is thinking of putting Ryan up. Will suggested that they keep on Hamza since he trusts the two of them. Will let Johnny know that Derek thinks that he is in tight with him and Jesse. Will said he wants nothing to do with that. Will talked about the guys wanting to bring Ryan in last week, then now they are talking about bringing Hamza in cause he knows that they are tight. Will said that keeping Jesse there is only making the showmance stronger. Hamza then spoke to Will. He said he got annoyed as soon as he saw Jesse’s face today. Will said they should send Jesse home. Hamza said he is ready to do whatever Will wants. He said they have to convince Veronica. Will told Hamza that putting Ryan up is kind of stupid since he is a vote. Will said he doesn’t trust Jesse. Hamza said he trusts Derek and Kaela but Jesse is a wild card. Hamza thinks he can convince Derek to send Jesse home. Hamza said he will see how Jesse acts when he tells him that he isn’t using the veto. Will said Canada will love it since it’s the biggest game move this season. Will told Hamza that he or Veronica can win next week to put up Derek in order to get him out. Hamza said he is ready to take a shot. Will said to think about how easy it will be for them if Derek and Jesse are out. Hamza said he cannot work with a hot head like Jesse, cause he is a hot head enough himself. Johnny joined them. Hamza said they need to send Jesse out since he is done. Hamza talked about being pissed off with him. He thanked Jesse for lighting a fire under his butt. Hamza said if they want to gang up on him, and try to send him out, they can try. Hamza said they were so scared that they made him swear on his fiancee’s life. Will said that’s bullying. Hamza said he considered using the veto until Jesse barged into his room and continued to be pissy about things. Will brought up that people will not put Jesse up again. Johnny said Derek, Kaela and Jesse are three people that could dominate this game. Hamza was fired up that Jesse said he didn’t beat him physically. Will said people were talking about Hamza not deserving to be there. Hamza thinks that Derek and Kaela will come to them once Jesse leaves. Olivia joined the guys outside. Hamza said Jesse’s ass is going out the door. Hamza said they have to make Jesse feel so safe. Hamza told Olivia to dress up like she is going home. Olivia said she will trust it. She worried that she wont have the votes over Jesse.
11:00-12:00 PM: Olivia said she worries that Derek, Kaela and Jesse are so good that they might be able to pull it off. Hamza mentioned that they could always put Ryan up next to Jesse to make them feel even safer. Will told Olivia to convince Paras that she is targeting Derek and Kaela if she stays. Hamza said they only need six votes, which would come from Ali, Johnny, Will, Veronica, Maddy and Ryan. Olivia worried about Maddy’s vote. Will said he will talk to her. Johnny said it’s more of a guarantee if Ryan is nominated. Hamza said people will convince the others to get Ryan out. After Olivia left, Hamza told Johnny and Will he thinks that he can persuade Derek to vote Jesse out. He said he will tell him that it can either be 11 vs 2, or he and Kaela can get on board. Hamza said they need people to start planting seeds, saying that Jesse is rubbing people the wrong way. Maddy joined them. Will revealed their game plan to get Jesse out. Maddy said she hates it. Will said Olivia is not coming after her. Johnny added that she is after Derek and Kaela. Maddy said to let her know the day of the vote what she is doing. Johnny explained that Derek, Kaela and Jesse is not just a three person thing since they have control over others. As for Olivia, he said that she is on the outs with everyone. Maddy agreed that Olivia will not come after her if they save her. Maddy said she will trust Johnny and Will on this one. Will said the showmance will be vulnerable to be targeted once Jesse is gone. Maddy suggested that they be careful when telling Paras the plan, because she is emotional. They discussed holding off on telling Paras and Veronica for now. Maddy said she is on board to evict Jesse. She said she is not stupid even though her initial crankiness is one thing. Maddy asked the guys to trust what she is saying in this conversation, as she is going to have to BS people a lot over the new few days. Maddy said that having her gut instinct trustworthy people all on the same page has to be good for her game.
3:00-4:00 PM: Will told Ali he thinks that things are starting to look good. Ali asked if he talked to Maddy and Paras. Will said Maddy is on board but he hasn’t talked to Paras. Will said they cannot let Jesse know that he is going. Will asked Ali who she would put up if she wins HoH next week. Ali said the obvious choice would be Derek and Kaela, though she isn’t sure if it’s the best strategic move since they can stay in the house as a target. Ali mentioned Ryan as an easy choice. Will pointed out that Derek, Kaela and Jesse will all vote the same way if they make it to jury together, which is another reason that they need to go.
5:00-6:00 PM: Johnny and Veronica discussed the plan for the week. Veronica let Johnny know that she and Will listened in on Olivia’s conversation with Hamza, and she said her targets are the newbies, the showmance, and Maddy. Johnny began suggesting that Jesse needs to go. He said nobody is going to have the balls to target the trio again. Veronica disagreed. She said they can keep Derek and Kaela on their side. Johnny said she is wrong about that. Johnny explained that Jesse is already on the block, and taking the shot is one of the things you would want to do if you were watching from home. Veronica talked about putting Derek up with someone next, after keeping Jesse this week. Johnny said you need a lot of things to line up to do that, and they have them lined up right now. Veronica said going back on what they said to Derek and Kaela would mean that they will end up aligning with Ali, Olivia and Ryan against the rest of them. Johnny argued that it will be a whole new ball game if they allow the trio to regroup and win HoH. Veronica slowly came around to the idea of targeting Jesse. She let Johnny know that Hamza wants to leave him on the block as of now. Veronica said Ali and Olivia wont be able to win competitions anyway, so she is agreed that Jesse should go.
6:00-7:00 PM: Veronica told Johnny that they have been talking about him a lot as a strong person that they would like to work with. Johnny said he is an asset. Veronica said the only thing holding them back is that he can be emotional in terms of feeling bad about certain people going up. Johnny said it doesn’t mean that it overtakes his brain. He assured her that he is thirsty for this. When Veronica brought up not wanting to keep Ryan in the game, Johnny said nobody does but it would be embarrassing for Hamza to take Jesse down in order to put Ryan up. Veronica agreed. Veronica asked if Johnny would go back to Derek and Kaela. Johnny said no. He talked about them keeping him out of the loop, mentioning his name, and underestimating him. Will joined them. Veronica filled him in on Johnny desire to work with them and to send Jesse home. Veronica said she is now convinced that Jesse should go. Will agreed that Jesse has to go. Veronica said her only concern is that Derek and Kaela wont be with them anymore if they take Jesse out. However, she said Ali and Olivia will probably be with them. Will said they definitely will be. Johnny said Derek and Kaela wont be after Veronica and Will even if they decide to turn. They discussed nominating Derek and Kaela next week. Johnny said he would prefer to see Derek go first. Veronica said she would rather see Kaela go. She mentioned she has a secret about Kaela that would blow their minds. While Veronica didn’t specifically mention that Kaela plays rugby, she said she is an athlete. Up in the HoH room, Kaela told Ali, Erica and Olivia she was four the seven but then she started hearing that she is Ali and Olivia’s number one target. Ali asked who is saying that. Kaela said everyone. She said Ryan was the first to put it out there. Ali talked about the conversation with Ryan. She insisted that she didn’t mention them specifically but she agreed that duos, trios and showmances are threats when Ryan brought it up. Ali said she heard that Derek, Kaela and Jesse were throwing her name out there as well. Erica said someone is putting a wedge between them. Olivia said it cause them to all split up. Kaela wondered who is stirring the pot. Olivia said she wants to find out who started the rumour that she has a five person alliance. It was Paras. She said that may lead them to other things. Erica said they can go back to being seven if they can get Hamza to use the veto and put someone else up.
7:00-8:00 PM: Erica told Ali, Kaela and Olivia that they can be a powerful four. She said she is obsessed with their conversation. Ali said they will end up splitting if nominations stay the same. Erica said that Jesse staying is better for Derek. Kaela agreed because Jesse will always pick Derek over her. Ali, Erica and Olivia all said they would choose Kaela over Derek. Kaela said she would rather keep her own allies over the allies of someone who she is close to. Kaela said the bros will always have the bros. Erica said it’s aggravating that the women are the ones always being pitted against each other. Kaela told Olivia that Maddy thinks she is after her because she is jealous that she hangs out with Jesse. Olivia said that’s hilarious and petty. There were discussions about getting Ryan out if they can get him on the block this week. Elsewhere, Hamza told Derek that people really want Jesse out. He said the two of them and Kaela are the only ones who want him to stay. Hamza told Derek they will have to be prepared for it to be the four of them against the entire house. Hamza told Derek not to tell Jesse. After the talk with the girls broke up, Ali and Olivia agreed that they still want Jesse to go this week. Ali said she is not going to bounce back to trusting the girls that easily. Both agreed that they should not push for Ryan to go up. Erica and Kaela spoke alone. Erica said Jesse is not doing anything for her game. Kaela said he isn’t doing anything for her game either, and Derek would be smart to pick Jesse over her. Kaela said she could get Derek closer to her if Jesse is gone, plus she and Derek may not be viewed as much of a threat without Jesse in the game. Erica let Kaela know that she thinks Jesse would subtly take a shot at her if he can. She explained that Jesse said he feels as though he has no one to go to the end with as long as Derek and Kaela are together. In the pantry, Paras let Jesse know that Hamza was not happy about a comment that he made with regards to the veto competition. Jesse said Hamza is a loser. Jesse then said the same to Derek. Derek said Hamza just told him that he is keeping him. Derek brought up Hamza saying that Jesse slammed the door last night, which made him feel disrespected. Derek said he is down to take a shot at Hamza next week if that’s what Jesse wants to do. Derek let Jesse know that Hamza said he is rubbing people the wrong way. Derek figures that Hamza doesn’t know all of the votes that Jesse has in his corner, and that everyone likes him.
8:00-9:00 PM: Hamza told Will that that they need people to go up to Derek to say that they want Jesse out. Maddy joined them. She said she will be going with what makes sense for her game. She added that going against what most people want, just to vote Olivia out to be petty, would not make sense. Maddy said she doesn’t think that Derek and Kaela will be on board with voting Jesse out. Hamza said he doesn’t care as long as people put it in their heads that it’s what the house wants. When Maddy suggested nominating Derek or Kaela in place of Olivia, Hamza said he cannot do that. Hamza then asked Ali how she feels about Jesse going home. Ali said said pretty good. She mentioned that Kaela will likely be easy to flip. Meanwhile, Veronica told Olivia that she was going home until this morning. Veronica said she and Hamza agreed that it is best for Olivia to stay. Veronica asked that Olivia not come after either of them next week in exchange for staying this week. Olivia agreed. Veronica stressed that they cannot let Jesse know he is going home. Erica, who had just spoken to Hamza, let Kaela know that apparently the house wants to evict Jesse. Kaela asked who the house is. Erica said she doesn’t know. Kaela said Hamza might want to get rid of Jesse so that Derek can be his number one. While Kaela said she loves Jesse, she admitted that it could best for her game to have him go. In the yard, Hamza told Derek it’s not looking good since everyone has turned. Hamza said everyone wants Jesse gone. He asked what the game plan is. Derek said to take Jesse off of the block, and then vote out Olivia. Derek then told Erica and Kaela he thinks that Hamza is making things up since nothing has changed with them, Maddy or Will, yet Hamza says the whole house wants Jesse out. Derek said this could be a way for Hamza to try to pull him away from Jesse. Derek thinks Hamza wants Jesse out but doesn’t want to say it. In the HoH room, Hamza, Maddy, Merron, Veronica and Will discussed the plan. Veronica said they are missing an opportunity if they don’t get Jesse out. Merron agreed. Hamza said what ticked him off the most is that they made him swear on his fiancee’s life. Back in the red room, Kaela told Derek about her conversation with Ali, Erica and Olivia. Derek said that was stupid to confront them. Derek said Ali and Olivia are their number one targets, yet now they are back to playing both sides since they think they are good with Kaela. Kaela said they didn’t say they are good with each other. They then discussed that Hamza is targeting Jesse. Kaela said they will have the votes if the veto isn’t used. Derek asked if they are still sure about that. Kaela listed off the two of them, Veronica, Will, Paras and Maddy as votes to evict Olivia. Jesse joined them. He said at minimum they need to make sure that nominations stay the same. Jesse doesn’t want Derek or Kaela ending up on the block next to him. Will spoke to Paras about voting Jesse out. Will said Erica, Merron, Johnny, Maddy and himself are voting him out. When Paras argued that Olivia is after Will and Maddy, Will said she isn’t cause they threatened her. Paras said Derek, Kaela and Jesse are three votes on their side. Will said Jesse is planting stuff in Paras’ head. She disagreed.
9:00-10:00 PM: Paras told Maddy to mark her words that Erica and Olivia are not to be trusted. Maddy said they don’t have the numbers anymore. Paras said they are the numbers, which Maddy disagreed with. Paras told Maddy that Olivia is going to get her out. Maddy said there is nothing that they can do about it. Paras said there is tons that they can do, cause they explain how dumb of a move it is. Paras said they are letting Erica run the game. Paras told Maddy to take out the one person that is directly coming for her. Paras worried that Erica knows they spilled what Olivia told them, which will make them targets. In the HoH room, Jesse apologized to Hamza for how he reacted after the competition yesterday. When Hamza brought up that he slammed the door, Jesse said he didn’t realize that he did that. Hamza and Merron later discussed that the apology was so fake. Hamza said it was only done once Jesse heard that he is the target. Back in the white room, Kaela told Maddy and Paras that they have the votes to keep Jesse. Paras said that’s what she thought but apparently not. Paras said Will is refusing to listen to her, saying that Erica and Olivia are not heir side. Paras said she is not going to play the house’s game anymore. Will entered the room. Kaela asked what is going on. Will said the house is flipping. When Paras started talking about keeping Jesse, Will told her she needs to stop panicking. Paras said they are playing Ryan’s game. A back and forth ensued, with Paras continuing to list off reasons why keeping Olivia does not make sense. In the hot tub, Veronica let Johnny know about Kaela’s secret that she is a rugby player who has been playing for 11 years. Veronica said that’s why Kaela is a bigger threat than Derek is. Elsewhere, Erica let Hamza know that she is 100% on board with the plan tot target Jesse.
10:00-11:00 PM: Paras searched out Will to apologize to him. Along the way, she spoke to Derek to let him know that Will was being an idiot. Will had been talking to Derek about Paras panicking upstairs. She said Will called Jesse a physical threat that needs to go. She said he also told her that he trusts Erica and Olivia. Paras then went to Will who said he doesn’t like that she and Maddy went behind his back to talk to Kaela, putting him a bad spot. Paras apologized for what happened earlier but said she did not talk behind his back. Paras said Maddy and Will are her number ones, so she will go along with his plan to vote Jesse out if that’s what he wants. However, Paras stressed that Jesse is not coming after them. Will said this is the chance to get him out since Olivia is not a threat. Will said he cannot go behind Hamza’s back when Hamza wants Jesse out. Paras said they are not after Hamza. Paras told Will that they cannot let Ryan run the house. Will said Ryan had nothing to do with who is getting saved. In the bathroom, Erica told Kaela she is extremely comfortable with sending Jesse home since he does nothing for her game. Kaela said Jesse leaving is better in a sense that she can get Derek closer to her. In the pantry, Paras told Derek and Kaela that she might have defended Jesse too much tonight. Paras said that is not good for them since she needs those people to trust her. Paras explained that she didn’t want people to be convinced to vote Jesse out. In the backyard, Ryan asked Hamza who is leaving this week. Hamza said Jesse. Ryan said that’s the vote that Hamza will get if that’s what he wants.
11:00-12:00 AM: Will told Hamza that Paras said she will do what he wants. Will said they are voting Jesse out. Hamza said Jesse’s last straw was coming to apologize to him only after he found out that he is the target. Will said he will continue to have Maddy and Paras’ backs, but wants to take Hamza to the Final 2. Will said the next big target that they have to take out is Derek.
12:00-1:00 AM: Hamza spoke to Derek about the plan for the veto ceremony. Hamza played it off as though he is still considering his options but he is leaning towards using the veto on Jesse. Hamza explained to Jesse that every single person wants Jesse out, which means that he could be in a bad spot if he uses the veto. Derek didn’t believe it. Hamza said he can make it happen that Derek hears it for himself. Hamza told Derek that even if nominations stay the same, which is best for his game, they would still have time to get Jesse the votes. Derek said he thinks that Hamza should use the veto on Jesse. If Hamza chooses not to do that, Derek said he should explain exactly why he isn’t using it to Jesse. Derek said the fact that Hamza might not use the veto is definitely leaving a sour taste in his mouth. Hamza said he has to do what is best for him. Derek said it’s his decision. Hamza then spoke to Paras. She attempted to shift the target off of Jesse. Paras continually said that Jesse is not going after Hamza. She also said that he is 0 for 5 in competitions. Hamza said Jesse would take a shot at him. He told Paras that they need to cut off the weakest part of the three headed dragon first. When Hamza said his original plan was to nominate Olivia and Kaela, Paras asked why he wont put Kaela up in Jesse’s place. Hamza said he gave his word to the have-nots, and he is not going back on it.
1:00-2:00 AM: Derek filled Jesse in on his talk with Hamza. They think that they still have the votes to save Jesse. Outside, Veronica let Hamza know that Derek said he will pretend to be Hamza’s friend but he will go after him if Jesse leaves this week. Hamza said he will take Olivia down and put Derek up then. While Hamza said he was only playing that up for the cameras, it led to some talks about potentially nominating Derek next to Jesse. Veronica suggested leaving nominations the same. Maddy did the same. Will pushed for Hamza to make the move so that they can send Derek home. Johnny pointed out that Derek going up would guarantee that Derek has to campaign against, not for, Jesse. Will told Hamza to give Canada a show. Hamza asked Merron if he should make the move. Merron said he wanted that from the beginning. Merron told Hamza to sleep on it. Hamza said he is not thinking with his gut right now, as he is thinking about the fact that Canada wants to see the huge move. In the kitchen, Maddy and Paras discussed that they cannot save Jesse. Paras said she is starting to regret who she has aligned with. While she said she and Maddy think things through in the same way, Paras is concerned that Will and Veronica were so easily swayed today. Maddy told Paras that this move puts them in a decent spot moving forward, and people may end up forgetting about them. She said it could be much worse even though they want Jesse to stay.
