Big Brother Canada 6 Day 48 - Johnny is saved, wins HoH
April 19, 2018
8:00-9:00 PM: During the eviction episode, Arisa informed the houseguests that tonight’s evictee would be the first member of the jury. Ryan was evicted by a unanimous vote of 6-0. The endurance style HoH competition got underway.
9:00-10:00 PM: When feeds returned, we found out that Johnny is the new HoH. In the HoH room, Derek and Kaela were making their plea that they were not pushing for Johnny to go. Kaela argued that everyone wanted Johnny to go. Kaela said she decided that she wanted to keep Johnny when she approached him in the catacombs. Johnny said he believes that it may have already been a done deal at that point. Johnny got everyone into the HoH room to try to get to the bottom of who wanted him out. Ali said she wanted Johnny out until 48 hours ago. Olivia agreed that people were on the fence until then. Ali and Maddy said that Daela wasn’t told which way people were voting until the last day. Johnny said it’s funny that people are scared of Derek and Kaela, implying that they are not being honest in front of everyone. Johnny questioned if at no point Derek and Kaela were bothered by the idea of him potentially staying. Kaela said no since she changed her mind. Ali said Kaela got on board before Derek did. Olivia confirmed that Kaela was more receptive to the idea. Johnny said the things that he is hearing don’t match up to what he is hearing but everyone is still staying silent. Derek mentioned that Maddy was on board with him the entire week. Kaela said Maddy told them that she would vote how they want, even if it meant sending Johnny home. Maddy denied saying she would vote how they wanted her to. Derek then brought up that Paras was pushing the hardest for Johnny to go. Paras said Johnny knows she was the last to get on board. Kaela added that Paras was upset Johnny was staying.
10:00-11:00 PM: Johnny openly asked people who should go on the block while they were all in the room together. Olivia said she is not going to throw names out. Ali also said she would not be dropping bombs on people’s games. Kaela said people in the house are playing every single person in there, and it’s starting to become more apparent. Kaela said she will play those people right back. Kaela told Johnny that every single person claimed they would target him this week. Derek threw Will’s name out there. Ali said she threw Johnny’s name out there but it was while she was campaigning for him to stay. Paras said she did not mention putting Johnny up next. Kaela said Paras is the one who told her that Johnny was after her. Paras denied it. Kaela said Ryan told her that Maddy was the ringleader, while Johnny was her side kick. Kaela said she then brought Paras in, and she confirmed it. Paras again denied it, saying she told Kaela that Ryan was behind it all. Kaela revealed that Paras has been throwing Maddy’s name around a lot. Maddy asked for a topic change. Kaela talked about not wanting to give up information on other people’s games, because she will then automatically go home if she is on the block. Kaela asked to speak to Johnny alone. Paras said she is staying for the conversation. Paras insisted that she said Ryan was behind the plan, not Maddy and Johnny. Kaela argued that she didn’t say that. Paras raised her voice throughout the conversation, telling Kaela not to turn this around on her just because she doesn’t want to be a target. Paras said she had trust in Kaela but lost it once she found out that she was throwing her name out there to Ali, Olivia and Maddy. After Paras left, Kaela continued to tell Johnny that she is telling the truth about what happened. She suggested that Paras is getting heated because she is good with everyone and it’s the first time that she is getting caught in her lies. Johnny asked who else said his name. Kaela said Ali and Olivia did too. She admitted to knowing that Johnny and Erica were talking about her because those two told her. Johnny said he did but Ali and Olivia were talking back about it. Kaela said they were giving her a heads up, letting her know that Johnny convinced Erica to go against her. Kaela explained that it became believable that Johnny and Maddy were spearheading something against her because of the other things that she had been hearing. Johnny asked if Kaela really threatened Ali and Olivia that one of them would go up if they didn’t vote to evict Erica. Kaela said no. Derek joined them. He backed up what Kaela had said about Ali and Olivia. Johnny brought them in. Kaela clarified that she is not trying to throw Ali and Olivia under the bus. Johnny questioned why they were having conversations in which they baited him to talk about going after Daela, only to run back to them with the information. He also got Ali to admit that Kaela didn’t threaten her to vote out Erica. Ali said she heard Johnny was telling people that she is sketchy and cannot be trusted. Johnny said that was just during one week. Johnny said he felt played since they would continuously talk to him about going after the showmance.
11:00-12:00 AM: Derek and Kaela brought up to Johnny, Ali and Olivia that Paras feeds them information, throwing Ali and Olivia under the bus. Ali said Paras claims that it is the other way around. Derek and Kaela talked about Paras being good with everyone, which is why she didn’t want to win HoH tonight. The two duos discussed having an agreement until the triple. When it was brought up that they wont target each other during the triple, Johnny said that means that they would put him up. He said one of them will have to go this week. Ali stressed that she fought to keep Johnny because she feels partially responsible for him being in a bad spot since he was expecting them to keep Erica. Johnny asked how often Ali and Olivia shared information about him to Daela. Kaela said it was only during her HoH week. When Johnny asked if Derek’s persuasion kept him in the game, Ali said no. Derek said it helped. Ali then Derek had conversations but the decision may have been made beforehand. Derek and Kaela pointed out that they didn’t know that since people were lying to them. Once Derek and Kaela left, Ali assured Johnny that they fought hard for him to stay in order to work with him. Johnny asked if they agreed with him at all about Derek and Kaela. Ali and Olivia explained that they do but they cannot voice certain things in front of them. Both said they were considering nominating the showmance if tonight was a triple eviction. Johnny said Derek and Kaela had been saying a lot more prior to Ali and Olivia entering the room. Paras then spoke to Johnny, who let her know that Daela is throwing her name out the most. Paras said it’s because Kaela can’t handle how bad her social game is, and she doesn’t like the position that she is in.
12:00-1:00 AM: Will asked Johnny if he is going to nominate Derek and Kaela. When Johnny said yeah, Will asked who Johnny would want to go first. Johnny said everyone wants Kaela out but he sees Derek as way more of a threat. Will informed Johnny that Ali was questioning if they made the wrong decision in keeping him, and she asked when they are going to get rid of him. Johnny told Maddy that the duos basically confirmed that they are working together. Maddy said she will not hold it against Paras even if she mentioned her name like Kaela was saying. Johnny told Maddy that he would like to see Derek go over Kaela. While Maddy agreed to back Johnny in that decision, she said that she cannot strong arm Paras into voting a certain way. Johnny later asked Maddy if she would want to take him to the Final 2. She said she thinks so, though she doesn’t believe that she will be in a position to do the choosing. Johnny talked about wanting to get down to four with Maddy, Paras and Will. Maddy said she really thinks that they can do it. Johnny asked Olivia if she let Ali know that he wanted to go Final 3 with her and Erica. Olivia said no. Johnny then revealed that Ali approached him to say that they need to be Final 2 if he stays. He asked if Olivia would cut him immediately over Ali. Olivia said no. She brought up not liking the way that Ali dominates conversations. Johnny said Ali told him that it’s hard to talk game with Olivia sometimes since she doesn’t care to do so. Johnny said he would rather get to the end with Olivia than Ali. While Olivia didn’t want to agree to a Final 2, she said she would not automatically choose Ali over Johnny. Olivia and Johnny discussed that Paras is not as bad as she is being made out to seem. Olivia said she trust Will more than Paras.
1:00-2:00 AM: Derek revealed the Real Deal alliance to Johnny. She said Paras would feed them a lot of information about the red room even after Jesse left. Derek said Paras talks crap about everyone including Maddy and Will. He said she feels the safest in the house. Derek reiterated that Paras was the most vocal in terms of wanting Johnny out. As for Will, Derek said he is the biggest sheep in the house. Derek called Maddy a follower as well. He pitched wanting to get to the end with Ali and Olivia. Derek later spoke about trying to play the game from behind Kaela. He said he has tried to remain socially good with everyone.
