Big Brother Canada 6 Day 8

March 10, 2018

8:00-9:00 AM: Ryan spoke to Maddy about the votes to evict Olivia. He said he would have whoever comes off the block, Maddy, Will, Jesse and Paras for sure. Maddy asked if Jesse reiterated that to him. Ryan said he will double check with him today. Ryan said they only need two more, and Merron said he will vote his way if he has a vote this week. They discussed that Derek and Kaela may be the swing votes. Ryan told Maddy to throw the veto competition if she gets chosen. Maddy told Ryan to pick Will. Ryan said Will already told him that he would throw it. Ryan then spoke to Will. He let them know that they might be able to pull the move off. Ryan told Will to throw the veto competition if he is picked to play. Ryan explained that he can say based on his conversation that no one would have a problem with Olivia going up as a pawn. Ryan then told Will the same thing that he had just told to Maddy. Ryan said the only people he is putting trust in by telling them are Maddy, Will and Paras. Next up, Ryan spoke to Andrew and Hamza to let them know that he is telling certain people to throw the veto competition if Andrew or Hamza have a chance to win it. Hamza asked who they should pick to play if they get houseguest’s choice. Ryan listed off Maddy, Paras and Will as potential options.

9:00-10:00 AM: Ryan told Derek and Jess that it doesn’t make sense for either of them to win the veto. He suggested that they throw it in order to avoid being seen as competition threats. Ryan said the veto doesn’t even matter since Andrew or Hamza are going home even if one of them win the veto. Ryan brought up his theory that Merron and Veronica were able to get information on them prior to entering the house. He said Veronica always denied seeing them, but she didn’t say that she hadn’t heard them. Ryan said he has even since pressed her on the audio idea, and she has not denied that portion of it. As for Merron, he said Merron was unable to do anything but giggle when it was brought up. Ryan then told Erica that she would be better served not winning the veto if she is picked to play. He said that people see her as socially strong, so adding competition wins to it right now would be a problem. Ryan added that it doesn’t matter if either of the two nominees win, as the other will leave anyway. Erica said those concerns are also why she didn’t want to win HoH. Ryan told Erica 100% that she will not be going on the block this week.

11:00-12:00 PM: Players were picked for the veto competition. The veto players are Ryan, Andrew, Hamza, Erica, Jesse and Johnny. Ali will be the host. In the bedroom, Olivia vented to Ali about Jesse asking if they will be mad if he gives up during the veto competition. Olivia said she will never speak to him again if he does that. Olivia said she will lose her mind if one of them give up, and then she will give up when their games are on the line. Ali and Olivia agreed that they will be on the block if Andrew stays and wins HoH. In the HoH room, Ryan spoke to Johnny about it being best for his game to throw the veto competition so that he doesn’t get a third win. Ryan asked Johnny if he would be open to using the veto if he did end up winning it. Johnny said no. He then questioned why Ryan would ask that. Ryan said the plan might change if six people come to him in order to say that they want the same person out. Johnny said he cannot picture who that person would be. Ryan said he cannot give a name until after the veto competition. Ali went to the HoH room to mention that they need to win the veto in order to keep the nominations the same. Ryan questioned why it matters when the other nominee would go home anyway. He reminded Ali that they have a four week plan. Ryan said it will be a bloodless week if they let it be. Ali said she guesses she just thinks that Andrew is the bigger threat. Ryan disagreed, saying it doesn’t matter to him which one of them goes. Back in the bedroom, Ali told Olivia she doesn’t think that they need to make amends with Andrew but they need him to see someone else as a bigger target than them. Olivia asked if she is talking about someone in their group. Ali confirmed that she is. She also confirmed that she is talking about one of the guys. Elsewhere, Kaela talked to Maddy about her game being separate from Derek’s. She said they are not close to the same people, and she will vote whichever way is best for her game. She pointed out that the guys are tight with Derek, meaning that the only way for her to stay later on in the game would be if Derek wins since they would keep him over her. Maddy said Kaela, Paras and Will are her favourite people in the house. Maddy said she can speak candidly with Will like Kaela can speak candidly with Derek. The girls discussed that they were previously intimidated by Olivia but now she has made an effort with them over the last couple of days.

12:00-1:00 PM: In the HoH room, Ryan spoke to Merron about his thoughts on who he would nominate down the line. Merron mentioned Ali and Olivia as potential nominees. Ryan asked if Merron would be willing to vote one of them out if they went up as the replacement nominee. Merron said he wouldn’t want to go against the house. Ryan then spoke to Jesse about potentially keeping both Andrew and Hamza in the game. Ryan said someone came to him both today and yesterday to point out that Andrew and Hamza will remain targets if they stay. Ryan asked Jesse who he mentioned as a replacement nominee. Jesse said he gave Erica and Maddy’s names yesterday for week five or six. Ryan asked if any female is an absolute no to Jesse. He said no. Ryan said if the replacement nominee is a female, that’s him telling Jesse what the plan is. Jesse said it has to be a move worth making. Ryan talked about Olivia opening up socially by talking to Paras non-stop for the past couple of days. He added that a lot of people are worried about Erica, Johnny and Olivia being together as well. Jesse went back to Derek to let him know that Ryan seems to want to nominate Olivia. Jesse said it would put him in a tough spot. If he does win the veto, Jesse said he will have to leave it the same, drawing a line in the sand. Derek said he is on board for that.

1:00-2:00 PM: In the bedroom, Ryan spoke to nearly all of the houseguests except for the two nominees. He talked about it not mattering who wins the veto since the other nominee will go home. Ryan said it will only hurt your image to win it and put a bigger target on your own back. Ryan mentioned that he has seen 26 seasons of the show, and he knows how it works. As for the replacement nominee, Ryan said he will not be putting someone up because he doesn’t like them or because he has done talking to get them out. He said the replacement will be someone who he believes will stay based on the conversations that he has had. Later, Will told Maddy and Paras that he is getting sick of how the game is being played. He said it’s stupid to have 13 people deciding what to do. They discussed that Ryan wants to target Olivia. While Will believes that Olivia is the biggest threat to the three of them, both Maddy and Paras said that Erica is. Will said they have to get Olivia out if they get the chance. Paras said it will create a divide in the house. She thinks that it could lead to them leaving quicker than if they stick to the four week plan. Maddy said she is torn but she doesn’t think Andrew or Hamza leaving would be good for them. Paras and will both said that they would prefer to keep Hamza if the nominations stay the same. Will asked if the girls will vote Olivia out. Paras said she will if Maddy and Will want to, though she still wants to discuss it. After Ryan left the room that the majority of the houseguests were in, Kaela spoke to the houseguests about nominations staying the same being the best case scenario. She said pawns go home. Kaela told Erica, Jesse and Johnny that they should try to win the veto. Kaela brought up that Ryan could use this by saying that he manipulated them all into throwing the veto. Erica, Jesse, Olivia, Paras and Veronica all agreed that they need to try to win the veto. Erica said Ryan’s questions about who they would target are meant to stir the pot. Kaela said Ryan is trying to pit them against each other. In the pantry, Derek and Kaela discussed that Ryan seems as though he is not with the plan when he is asking who they would put up in the event of a potential backdoor. They discussed that Olivia is stronger than Paras, so it might be good to work with her instead.

2:00-3:00 PM: Erica, Jesse and Olivia talked about what Ryan has been up to. Olivia said the alarm bells started going off for her once she heard that he had told both Jesse and Johnny not to win the veto. Jesse said something is up. He suggested that Ryan is trying to pit people against each other. Erica said Ryan seems to be a paranoid player because he knows the game so well. Olivia said Ryan is overplaying. Erica said it’s scary that every single one of them believed what Ryan said until they talked to each other. Jesse told Erica it’s good that the two of them and Johnny are in the veto competent. He said he will not use it if he wins it. In the bathroom, Kaela told Derek that they should try to keep the dumb people around. She said that even though she would be interested in working with Olivia, they will have to cut her once they need to start getting rid of people. Kaela said she thinks that Will is smarter than Jesse. She told Derek to use it to his advantage that Jesse wants to follow him around like a puppy. Maddy and Veronica joined them. Veronica said Ryan is playing this HoH in a really weird way. Kaela said it’s like he is trying to pit them against each other. Maddy questioned why Ryan wants to put someone through the stress of being a replacement nominee if he wants them all to be unified. Derek said Ryan has auditioned for all six seasons, so he wants to win. Meanwhile, Ali and Will discussed working together. Ali said Will is probably better with physical things, and she can help them play out all of the scenarios. Will said Ali can be the Neda to his Jon. Ali thinks that Ryan is someone who they could work with. Ali then told Olivia she doesn’t think that there is anything malicious behind the questions that Ryan is asking. Ali said Ryan would be loyal and they could beat him. While Olivia said she doesn’t get a trusting vibe from Ryan, she agreed.

3:00-4:00 PM: While alone in the bedroom, Paras spoke to the cameras. She talked about wanting to continue to play both sides for a while. She acknowledged that she will be forced to choose a side if Andrew or Hamza win the veto, and Olivia goes up. Paras wants people to think smart, opting not to make any big moves for a couple of weeks. She said she will earn her win by making big moves, but now is not the time. When Jesse joined her, Paras told him that Ryan wants to backdoor one of the girls. Jesse asked if she means Ali or Olivia. Paras said yeah. She said it would not be good for their game. Jesse agreed. He said he doesn’t want to do it, and he will leave the nominations the same. Paras encouraged him to fight hard for the veto.

4:00-5:00 PM: In the HoH room, Ryan let Andrew know that the door is open to make a move this week. He said Andrew or Hamza have to win the veto. Ryan said that Johnny is the only one they have to worry about since the other two aren’t interested in winning the veto. Ryan said Johnny is nervous that something is flipping, which he is right about, but he cannot let him on the plan just yet.

5:00-6:00 PM: Ryan told Andrew that he would likely leave with at least 8 votes against him if the nominations were to stay the same. Looking ahead to next week, Ryan said Andrew would be able to buy himself a lot of goodwill if he wins HoH and nominates Merron and Veronica. While Andrew doesn’t like Veronica, he doesn’t want to nominate Merron. Merron joined them. He mentioned that Veronica was responsible for making up 80% of the story that they had when they entered the house. He said she did not stop talking once she got started. Ryan talked about Veronica being at a 12 on the scale of 1 to 10. He said she should feel free to take it down a notch. In the kitchen, Derek asked if Ryan actually said that he is thinking of backdooring somebody. Jesse confirmed that it is Ryan’s #1 plan at the moment. He said Ryan told him and trusts him, but he doesn’t know why. Will joined the guys. Jesse said he plans to go for the win today so that he can keep the nominations the same.

6:00-7:00 PM: Ryan and Will talked over the plan to target Olivia. Will said Maddy, Paras and himself will be votes to evict Olivia. Ryan said they will also have whoever comes off of the block. The two are confident that they can get Merron and Veronica on board if they are able to vote this week. Ryan said Erica told him that she would prefer to have both Andrew and Hamza around at the end of the week. Ryan isn’t sure if Erica is being truthful with him, so he asked Will to ask her how she would feel about those two staying. Ryan said they will flip things if they can, but they will not attempt to do it if the numbers are not there. Ryan listed off Andrew, Hamza, Maddy, Paras and Will as the people that he would like to work with. Will mentioned that Jesse said he is going to try to win the veto. Ryan said Jesse told him otherwise, and he said he would use the veto if he won it. If Jesse wins and doesn’t use the veto, Ryan said he would then know that they are not together.

7:00-8:00 PM: Ryan spoke to Jesse about potentially using the veto. Jesse didn’t want to commit to it because Ryan would not give him any names. Jesse said he would be willing to use it if the right person was going up. All that he would say is that it will not be another guy. He added that Kaela will not be the girl going up. Ryan said people have been giving him some alternate nominations. Jesse said they can start to look at something if people are giving names. Ryan mentioned that someone came to him after his talk with the group to say that people were talking about him having a backdoor plan after he left the room. He said another person, which was Olivia, came to him and said everything was fine after the left the room. Ryan said he will believe the first person before the would believe the second. Jesse admitted that there were some questions about what happened.

8:00-9:00 PM: Derek asked Jesse if the plan is still to nominate Olivia or somebody. Jesse said Ryan wants him to use the veto if he wins it, but he will not give any names as to who the replacement nominee would be. Jesse said Ryan was saying that he wants to work with some of the outliers in the house in order to go after the inner of the house. Jesse mentioned that the inner may include Derek and Kaela. Jesse said he doesn’t know if he wants to win the veto now that Ryan will expect him to use it. He thinks the best case scenario would be that Erica or Johnny win it and don’t use it. The guys talked about creating a five person alliance with Kaela, Erica and Johnny. They talked about targeting Ryan. Ali was also brought up as a potential target. Derek spoke to Kaela. He let her know that Ryan is still planning to backdoor someone. He also said that Ryan told Jesse about Ali saying that he and Kaela have to go around week five or six. Derek wasn’t sure if it was true. He mentioned that it could be since Ali has been acting suspicious of late. They then talked about solidifying something with Jesse, Erica and Johnny. Derek thinks that it needs to be tonight. Kaela said that Johnny will have to choose between Ali or them since he is close to Ali.

9:00-10:00 PM: Kaela spoke to Erica about creating an alliance. She said she knows that Erica is vibing with Jesse, plus she is cool with Derek, so it might be good to work together. Erica said she thinks that she could be into that. Before long, their talk was broken up. In the have-not room, Derek and Jesse discussed what Ryan said about Ali wanting to come after Derek and Kaela in a few weeks. Jesse said he doesn’t think that Ryan would have made that up. Derek said they now have a reason to put Ali at the bottom. He said Ali and Maddy will be their bottom two.

10:00-11:00 PM: Ryan asked Derek who goes up if one of the nominees comes down. Derek mentioned Maddy’s name. Ryan said she can’t go up cause she will go home, and he still wants to stick to the plan. Ryan said a girl has got to go up just in case. Ryan said he is trying to avoid there being a backdoor eviction because people would then come at him and say that was his plan from the start when it really wasn’t. Derek said Olivia seems like a safer option that Paras does. He said Paras and Maddy would probably both get voted out if they go up on the block. Ryan assured Derek that he will not be putting Kaela on the block.
