Big Brother Canada 7 Day 41 - Mark wins HoH
April 11, 2019
8:00-9:00 PM: During tonight’s eviction episode, Sam was evicted by a vote of 5-1. Adam was the only one who voted to evict Este.
9:00-10:00 PM: When feeds returned, we found out that Mark is the new HoH. Cory and Mark chatted though there were few names mentioned. Mark said he might follow Cory’s advice in that he wont tell anyone but the two nominees who is going on the block. As for Wendy’s, Mark said he is leaning hard towards taking Damien. Cory asked Mark who has been true and genuine with him up to this point. Mark said no one. Outside, Dane and Kyra discussed that they have no idea who Mark is going to go after this week.
10:00-11:00 PM: Mark spoke to Dane about nominating Adam next to Damien. He said that Este can go on the block if one of the two nominees win the veto. Mark said he prefers to have Damien leave over Este since he is the stronger of the two. Mark pleaded with Dane to not tell Adam that he is talking about nominating him. Mark wants to let him know himself. Mark brought up that Adam’s girlfriend put him up which by extension means that Adam was involved. Mark suggested that the alliance would be clear if he nominates Damien and Este rather than using on of their own as a pawn. Dane said he is on board with the plan. Dane thinks that they Anthony, Cory and himself would be the votes needed to save Adam. Adam joined them. He mentioned that Anthony talked about the need to get Damien out this week. Adam pushed for Cory to be the target instead. Adam asked if Mark is comfortable with her. Mark said he is as of now. He pointed out that Anthony was able to run the show last week with Cory in power. Dane added that Cory is also wanting to keep Kyra safe during the triple, so there aren’t many options left for her to nominate since she would keep Anthony safe as well. Adam argued that they would have a better chance of beating Damien, Este and Kyra rather than Cory. While Mark admitted that it would be a good move for Adam to nominate Cory, he didn’t think that it would work best for him. Mark said he will consider his options.
11:00-12:00 AM: Mark let Damien know that he is not inclined to put him up but he needs to think about his options. Mark said he doesn’t want to risk Kyra going home when they are so bad at competitions. Adam’s name was tossed around as an option. Mark said Este is a slightly stronger target than Kyra is, making her a better option as a nominee. Damien said Mark is right that it is smart to keep Kyra around, but Kyra will not leave if they are nominated. Mark said that Adam may have to be backdoored if the house wants him out, but he is inclined to nominate him since he doesn’t have many options. Should Damien go up, Mark said it would be as a pawn next to Adam. Mark asked if Damien would use the veto on Este if she is nominated next to Adam. Damien said it would make sense. When Mark further questioned him, Damien said he might keep nominations the same. Mark let Damien know that he plans to take him to Wendy’s.
12:00-1:00 AM: Mark spoke to Kyra. He let them know that he inclined not to put them up. Mark said he still has a few people to speak to. Kyra worried that their name would be brought up by those people. Mark said he is considered about his own game, not other people’s games, and their name is an easy one to throw out there. Mark told Kyra that he would not worry if he were them. Afterwards, Este spoke to Mark. She said that Adam and Kyra would be her nominees. Este talked about wanting to target Kyra. Mark talked about how he doesn’t see a scenario in which Este wouldn’t nominate him during the triple, given that she would keep Damien and Dane safe. Este told him that it’s not necessarily the case that she would nominate him.
