Big Brother Canada 7 Day 42 - Mark nominates Adam and Damien
April 12, 2019
9:00-10:00 AM: Adam, Anthony and Mark spoke in the HoH room. Anthony said they need to think about who is the biggest threat to the greatest number of the boys. Mark said Damien is likely going on the block. Adam said he doesn’t get why Mark is saying that they cannot beat Damien when he hasn’t proven himself in any competition. Anthony said Damien would put two Pretty Boys on the block. While Anthony claimed that Cory would not do that, Adam said his biggest worry is that they cannot beat Cory in competitions. When Mark brought up having an idea that one of the boys could go up next to Damien, Adam questioned why he would do that. He also asked if he is thinking about putting him up. Mark said it would be either Adam or Dane, but it would fit with his storyline to nominate Adam since people don’t think that they get along. Adam said he could just nominate Este next to Damien. Adam let Mark know that he would not feel comfortable going on the block. Adam argued that Kyra could flip and vote him out. Mark suggested that he could have gone home when he was on the block too. Adam said that they couldn’t control that since they didn’t have HoH like Mark does. Adam said it’s a stupid plan but Mark can do what he wants.
10:00-11:00 AM: Adam told Dane that Anthony is going to go talk to Mark in order to say they are putting Damien and Este up and are going to backdoor him, so the rest of the house understands his move. Adam and Dane agreed that even that is stupid. Adam said he should just nominate Dane and Este. Adam didn’t want to have to rely on votes outside of their alliance. Dane said Mark is scared of Anthony so he doesn’t want to make the move against Cory either. Adam thinks that the power is getting to Mark’s head since he feels like he has done nothing but be a pawn all season up to this point. Adam said he will punch Mark square in the teeth, on live television, if he goes home this week. Adam thinks that Mark is sour because he didn’t use the veto on him during Sam’s HoH week. Adam and Dane discussed that Anthony and Mark probably think that they cannot beat them in Final 4, so they want Cory there to possibly take them out. Dane then headed up to the HoH room. Mark said it blew him away that Dane offered to go on the block last night. Mark let Dane know that he appreciated that but Dane is not going on the block. Dane asked if Adam and Damien are going to go up. Mark said most likely. Dane then mentioned that their biggest threat as a group is Cory, not Damien. Mark said he is willing to talk if the nominations change.
11:00-12:00 PM: Adam and Mark spoke in Leon’s Lounge. Adam asked if Mark is putting him up. Mark confirmed that he is. Adam said it’s a stupid move but whatever. Mark said it makes sense with the house. Adam told Mark that it’s about the boys. Mark pointed out that Adam could have used the veto on him if it was about the boys, but he didn’t. Adam said that anything could change, and Kyra could vote him out. Mark said Kyra campaigned to him for 30 minutes for him. Adam eventually walked out, telling Mark to do what he has got to do. Adam went to talk to Kyra, telling them that he is going on the block. Kyra encouraged Adam to focus on the veto since it doesn’t matter if he goes up as long as he can take himself down. Adam called Mark an idiot. He added that he wants to punch him in the face. Kyra said Mark is such a child if he is putting him up for not using the veto. Adam then vented to Cory, saying it’s a stupid move to put him up right now. Adam said that Mark should backdoor him if he wants him out.
12:00-1:00 PM: Anthony spoke to Adam. He said Mark explained the move to him by saying that Kyra campaigned for Adam for half an hour. Adam said he still doesn’t trust that since people can change their mind. Adam said Mark is going to get a story this week, as he is going to blow up. Anthony told Adam that he is not going home no matter what. When Adam said he cannot guarantee that, Anthony said he can since he has done that every single week. Adam explained that there will be tension between them if that’s what Mark wants. Anthony told Adam that he will have Cory’s vote. Adam disagreed. Anthony then suggested that they make a Final 3 with her, but Adam said he wants one with the boys and not with her. They discussed a speech that Adam could make to Mark. Anthony told Adam to say “if you thought for one second that I wanted you out last week, imagine how you are going to feel when I take myself off of the block this week”. Anthony said this is perfect since it fits with the storyline and people will think that Adam and Mark are fighting. Dane joined them. He asked what he should do if he wins the veto. Anthony said that they will use it on Adam if they win, and they will get their close allies to do the same. Adam and Dane then spoke to Anthony about their fear that Cory will take the boys out during the triple. Anthony once again advised Adam to approach Cory. He said that Adam needs to apologize to her and say that the she and Anthony are the only people that he trusts in the house. Once Adam left the room, Anthony and Dane cracked up about Adam saying that he would bang pots and pans in Mark’s face. Dane spoke to Mark. He let him know that he will probably use the veto on Adam if he wins it. Mark said that makes the most sense.
1:00-2:00 PM: Damien talked to Dane about various scenarios for the week. Damien thinks that he would go home over Este. Dane said they could get Kyra out over Damien, and they could likely also get Cory out over him since she is a bigger target than he is. Feeds went down at 1:22.
3:00-4:00 PM: Feeds returned at 3:29 after Mark took Damien to Wendy’s. Damien told Dane that Mark let him know that he is going on the block. He said Mark told him right after Wendy’s. Damien said he is going on the block over Este because Mark needs someone to play for the veto against Adam, but he isn’t sure that it’s the truth. If Adam wins the veto, they agreed that Cory going up would be the best option. Adam joined them. Adam sarcastically said “boys alliance”. Damien said he suggested it but Mark cannot beat them in the Final 5. Once Adam left, Este joined them. She said Mark told her that she was an option to go up, but then he decided to go for Adam. Damien let Dane know that he will pick him if he pulls the houseguest’s choice chip.
4:00-5:00 PM: Adam and Mark spoke in the kitchen. Adam asked if Mark is 100% confident with him going up. Mark said yes. Adam said he thought that they were going to discuss things as a team. Mark said they did. Adam said there was no discussion, as it was just Mark telling him what was going to happen. Adam asked if Dane agrees. Dane said that they should all sit down. Mark said it’s a difficult situation, but Adam said it didn’t have to be. Dane suggested that the alliance sit down as a four to discuss what’s best once the veto is won. Adam told Mark he thinks that he is bitter that Sam put him up, and pissed off that he didn’t use the veto. Adam claimed that Mark would have been gone if not for him convincing Kyra to keep him. Mark said Adam doesn’t know that since he didn’t even know what the Blood Veto was at the time, making it a very dangerous week. Mark said it’s asinine that Adam did not take him off of the block. He argued that he is doing the exact same thing that Adam did. Mark once again brought up the storyline, which led to Adam saying “f*ck your story”. Dane reiterated that they should all sit down to talk once they have calmed down.
5:00-6:00 PM: Adam called Anthony over to speak after his conversation with Mark ended. He asked if Anthony spoke to Mark about selling it that Adam is the backdoor target. Anthony said he didn’t get a chance to talk to Mark. Adam said that they should go talk to him right now. Anthony said Mark is on the verge of crying. Adam replied with “good”. Adam talked about not having a say during Sam’s HoH week. Adam said Mark is going to live in hell for the next week if he wants a storyline. Anthony and Dane laughed. Feeds went down at 5:45 for the nomination ceremony.
7:00-8:00 PM: Feeds returned at 7:13 following the nomination ceremony. Mark nominated Adam and Damien for eviction. Afterwards, Mark was talking to himself about the plan for the rest of the week. He said he doesn’t know how it’s going to play out, but he is thinking that he may have to ride with the Pretty Boys the whole way. Mark followed that up by clarifying that he is not scared of Adam. In the have-not room, Adam told Damien that both of them are going to say. Damien said he did not see this coming when Mark won HoH. The two said that they were happy when Mark won. Adam hopes that they will select Este and Kyra, the weaker players, to compete in the veto competition. Elsewhere, Mark told Cory that he wouldn’t have respected himself had he nominated Damien and Este. Anthony and Mark then spoke. They discussed that this move is so good since it takes the heat off of Dane. Anthony said the best case scenario would be for Adam to win the veto. Mark said they have to make sure that they have a third vote to save him if it comes down to it. Anthony assured Mark that he has everybody.
8:00-9:00 PM: Adam was searching through boxes in the archive room when he found a small box. He used a flashlight, looked in a box, and read “search for clues”. Not long after, Big Brother called Adam to the diary room. Minutes later, Adam returned to the archive room, took a small box, and shoved it down his pants before returning to the diary room.
9:00-10:00 PM: Dane observed that Adam had been going back and forth between the archive room and the diary room. He went to Este to ask if she moved a recorder that they had found. When she said no, Dane said that Adam is up to something. Dane paced around and said that he is going to wait for Adam to get out of the diary room so that he can confront him. When Adam left the diary room, Dane questioned him about what he is doing. Adam said he just had to go put some cream on his arm, and then they asked him about his speech. Dane brought up that there was a tape recorder in the archive room. Adam said he didn’t see it. Kyra joined Adam to look through boxes. Adam mentioned that Dane was suspicious of him being in there. They discussed that Dane might know something based on the way that he was acting. Adam and Dane later talked game. Dane said there is no way that people think that there is a guys alliance anymore. Adam said his fight with Adam earlier in the day was real. He wondered if the viewers could tell what is real and what isn’t when it comes to the Pretty Boys. Adam said he would nominate Cory, Este and Kyra if he were to win the triple eviction HoH.
10:00-11:00 PM: Kyra told Adam that he has to win the veto. They said they don’t think that Dane would use the veto on him. Adam said maybe not since Este would not like that. Kyra brought up that Mark is a small child, putting him on the block even though Adam protected him throughout the game. Kyra added that Mark is so manipulated by Anthony and Cory, thinking that they have his back even though they just came out of nowhere to want to work with him. Kyra told Adam that he will win the veto or they will win it and take him down. When Kyra left the room, Adam said “or I will find the secret in the boxes”. He followed that up by saying “a game changing secret that I don’t know what it is. Hopefully it’s a veto, or hopefully it’s, like, immunity for a week”.
12:00-1:00 AM: Mark told Dane that he would like to have a ritual ceremony when they evict the last person not in the Pretty Boys alliance. He said they can all be wearing black and holding candles. Dane said that would be hilarious. Dane said Adam was losing his marbles this afternoon but now he is back to joking about things, which almost worked out better. Mark said this is perfect since Adam is getting closer to Kyra again. Dane said Kyra came up to him to say that they want all four of the Pretty Boys in the Final 5. Dane said Kyra approached him to plead with him to use the veto on Adam if he wins it. Dane brought up that they really need to discuss nominating someone other than Este if Adam wins the veto, because she is not a strong competitor. Mark said he knows that. Mark said he is close with Cory and therefore they need to tread lightly. Dane said he is close with her too but it could be a good shot to take if they get the opportunity to do so. Mark agreed. If it works out that way, Dane said Mark can sell it to Damien that it was the plan all along. Adam joined the guys. Mark told him that they will have to have a serious talk with Anthony about “certain people”, referring to Cory, if Adam wins the veto. Mark said that it’s going to be a group conversation. Mark let Adam know that Kyra is begging him to keep Adam in the game.
