Big Brother Canada 7 Day 43 - Adam wins the Power of Veto
April 13, 2019
12:00-1:00 PM: Anthony told Mark that Este would cut him last week. Mark asked if Este told Anthony that. Anthony said yeah. When Mark said that he will call her out on it, Anthony said he can’t do that. Anthony let Mark know that Cory and Kyra would take him through the triple but Este would not.
1:00-2:00 PM: Dane told Este that he is going to use the veto on Adam if he wins it. Este thought that he was kidding. Dane explained that they have to take someone else out, and Adam will go home if he uses the veto on Damien. Dane added that Adam will take them to the Final 5 but Cory would not. Este said she would be okay with Cory leaving but she doesn’t know what Mark would think about that. Este questioned if Dane really believes that he could beat Adam over Cory. Dane said yeah. Dane told Este that Adam will stay over Damien if nominations stay the same. She wasn’t buying it, but Dane told her that Anthony, Cory and Kyra would be the three votes that Adam needs. Este said it would be stupid to keep Adam if people want a chance at winning competitions themselves. Dane played it off as though Cory wants to go up against Adam at the end because she prefers to take on the big players. Este said Dane needs to win the veto and get her out then. Dane clarified that he would not feel comfortable with Adam on the block next to Cory, given that Este has wanted Adam out for so long. Feeds went down at 1:29 for the veto player pick.
2:00-3:00 PM: Feeds returned at 2:26. The veto players are Adam, Damien, Cory, Este and Kyra. Este spoke to Mark. She let him know that she is concerned about the possibility of Adam staying. She said she is pondering what needs to happen in order to make sure that he leaves. Mark asked if Este would use the veto on Damien if she wins it. Este said she thinks that it would be smart, and then Mark could put someone up who would vote for Adam to stay. Mark said they can have that conversation if Este wins the veto. Este later said that if Damien has to go, it is what it is. Mark asked if Este would help around the house to try to keep Damien. She said it would depend on who is next to him. If nominations remain the same, Este said she would help since she wants Adam out. Mark expressed concern that Este would put him up if she were to win the triple. Este said the trust begins to form here, and she would return the favour after he didn’t put her on the block this week.
7:00-8:00 PM: Adam spoke to Damien about wanting to keep both of them safe this week. He said that they need to win the veto and then evict whoever goes up in their place. Damien agreed. Adam said that Damien will have his vote 1000%. They talked about wanting to work with Dane as well. Both agreed that Este is not a dangerous player, and they need a bigger player to go up and out this week. Both Adam and Damien said they believe that Mark has a bigger plan. They mentioned that there is a 4 in 5 chance that the veto will be used, with Cory being the only one who wouldn’t use it.
8:00-9:00 PM: Anthony caught wind of the potential plan to nominate Cory. He confronted Adam who said that they can have a talk after this. Anthony said he is not a cry baby, so he will do what the team wants. Adam said Anthony will react the same way that he did when Sam went up, which Anthony denied. He said that he isn’t like Adam and he is not in love and talking about naming dogs together. Anthony said it was obviously Adam who got in Mark’s ear about nominating Cory. Adam revealed that Dane wants the same thing. Anthony said that’s because Damien wants to work with Adam and Dane, which led to Adam saying that Cory wants to work with Anthony and Kyra. Anthony said Cory doesn’t even like Kyra. Anthony suggested that the guys purposely had the conversation without him. Adam pointed out that Anthony spent the entire day with Cory. Adam, Anthony and Dane then chatted. Adam and Dane made it clear that they think Cory is a bigger competition threat than Damien is. Anthony said it is what it is if that’s what the boys think, but he doesn’t want any more sly smiles coming from Adam. Anthony clarified that he is not like Adam, and he would not argue with them like Adam did last week if Cory were to be brought up. Mark came by. He let the guys know that he is very much considering nominating Cory. Mark suggested that they sit down with Damien to make a pact that the guys will not put each other up, otherwise the rest of the guys will not vote for that person and will come after them. Mark said they will have to play it off as though they have not already started an alliance with Damien. Anthony brought up that Damien has wanted Adam out all along, but Adam did not buy it. Damien joined the guys. The guys shifted the conversation to play it off as though they were discussing that Damien needs to stay if Adam wins the veto. Damien questioned why they are speculating before the veto competition. Anthony said he didn’t like that he was being kept out of the loop. The guys then split up. Anthony told Mark that Adam is dumb as nails and he is brainwashed by Damien. Anthony insisted that Damien is a stronger competitor than Cory is. Mark said he does not want to go up against Cory in the true or false competition that will take place during the triple. Anthony said that’s fair. He then talked about Cory going being best for Adam and Dane since those two are off making side deals with Damien. Anthony said that he and Mark will be going on the block if Damien wins HoH during the triple. On the other hand, he said that Cory is obsessed with Mark. Anthony once again said that he will will agree to do what the boys want. Anthony plans to call Adam and Dane out later when they all meet. Mark said he will take what Anthony said in to consideration. Mark said he will do what is best for the two of them as well as for the Pretty Boys. Anthony then did damage control with Damien, telling him that he is going to keep him. Feeds went down at 8:49 for the veto competition.
1:00-2:00 AM: Feeds returned at 1:08 following the veto competition. Adam won the Power of Veto. Anthony pitched to Dane that Damien needs to be the target this week. He argued that Damien will come after him and Mark. Dane said Kyra and Mark would be Damien’s nominees. As for Cory, Anthony said that she is not going to nominate two of the guys. Dane continued to point out that Cory will be the toughest one for the guys to beat in a competition. Adam joined them. He made it clear that Cory is the biggest threat in his eyes. While he acknowledged that Damien has said some things about him in the past, Adam was okay with it since Damien owned up to it and is talking about wanting to work with the boys now. Anthony then started talking about how Este will be flirting with Damien in order to get her way if he wins HoH, which would be trouble for the boys. Adam and Dane didn’t back down in saying that Cory is the bigger threat.
