BBCAN3 Day 60 - Pilar is the replacement nominee

May 17, 2015

1:00-2:00 PM: Sarah was outside by herself. She went over her speech for the veto ceremony. She plans to explain to Pilar that she is putting her up for the same reason that she put Ashleigh up. She explained that it is all about the numbers. Sarah then said that she needs Brittnee to win HoH, though she backtracked and said that Godfrey winning would be best. However, she said that she cannot trust Godfrey. Sarah was concerned that if Brittnee wins again she will be impossible for her to beat in the Final 2. Sarah pondered who she could beat at the end. She questioned if Pilar would really get votes from people just because they are friends with her. Brittnee then joined Sarah. Sarah mentioned that hopefully Zach will go, though she was concerned that Ashleigh has been cuddling and hanging out with Zach so much of late. Sarah filled Brittnee in on her conversation with Godfrey last night, explaining that she tried to make Godfrey think that she would not necessarily take Brittnee to the end. Sarah felt that she did not get through to Godfrey, however.

2:00-3:00 PM: Pilar went to Brittnee and Sarah, telling them that she is concerned that she may go home. Pilar explained that sometimes emotions get in the way, so Ashleigh may vote her out. Sarah pointed out that Ashleigh has an emotional connection with Pilar as well. Pilar then mentioned overhearing a conversation in which Godfrey told Zach that he is going to vote her out. Sarah said that Godfrey had told them that he is voting Zach out. Brittnee said that it will all come down to Ashleigh if Godfrey is considering flipping. Sarah told Pilar that she felt comfortable in putting her up because Ashleigh swore that she would never vote Pilar out. Pilar continually said that Zach and Ashleigh need to be split up. She told them that she cannot vote Zach out if she is on the block. Sarah said that she obviously wants Godfrey to leave before Pilar, though she has to try this move in order to get Zach out. Sarah added that she trusts Pilar and would put Godfrey up but she already told him that she would not do it. Sarah apologized to Pilar, saying that she realizes that it would be tempting for her to keep Zach since it would be good for her game to remain in a solid three.

Meanwhile, Zach made his pitch to Ashleigh and Godfrey in the kitchen. Zach pointed out that Sarah and Brittnee are telling each of them different stories, telling one that Ashleigh is the next target and the other that Godfrey is the next target. He said that Sarah is doing this because she wants to secure the votes to get him out since it is best for her game to do so. Zach told them that Sarah is building him up as having an unbeatable game, though the only thing that he did was win one HoH that sent someone that he was working with home. Zach made it clear that he would be the target before either of them, while Pilar is someone that anyone would take to the end. Zach also emphasized that he could win competitions to keep them safe, while Pilar is unlikely to. Zach said that he will respect it if they find it more valuable for their games to keep Pilar, though he wants them to consider keeping him. Godfrey said that he will definitely think about it since Zach put up a really rational argument. Zach said that Sarah and Brittnee would beat any of them at the end. He said Brittnee has sent four players out, while Sarah will use the fact that she got him out if he does go. Ashleigh said that she sees Brittnee as the biggest threat, while Zach said that Sarah is the mastermind. Godfrey agreed.

The girls made their way back inside. On the way, Brittnee told Sarah that Ashleigh and Zach are purposely stressing Pilar out because they want her to come to them to try to get Godfrey nominated. Sarah agreed and said that it’s not working. Ashleigh then went outside to chat with Godfrey. Ashleigh said that she doesn’t want people to be thinking that she is picking emotionally because it’s Zach, since part of his argument does make sense. She said that anyone would take Pilar to the end over them. Ashleigh and Godfrey agreed that they would be the next biggest targets if Zach left. Ashleigh also said that they could use Zach to help them win HoH, though Godfrey pointed out that Pilar would be on their side for that as well. Sarah then broke up the conversation. Sarah later told Godfrey that he needs to stop telling Ashleigh that she is going to vote for Zach to stay. Sarah let Godfrey know that Pilar is claiming to have overheard a conversation in which Godfrey told Zach that he is keeping him. Godfrey denied it and said that he is voting Zach out, though he admitted that Zach staying would be worse for Brittnee and Sarah than it would be for him. Godfrey again reassured Sarah that he is evicting Zach, stating that nobody can beat Zach at the end. Brittnee had also joined the conversation. Godfrey told the girls that they would beat him at the end too, though not by the landslide margin that Zach would. Sarah said that she is shocked that Ashleigh would do this to Pilar, though she felt that it could work to their advantage if the two girls grew apart after this.

Ashleigh and Pilar spoke in the bathroom. Pilar said that she talked to Sarah and that she is going to go on the block. Pilar said that she is trying to explain that she realizes that Ashleigh and Zach need to split. She told Ashleigh that Sarah wasn’t buying it that Ashleigh would not vote to keep her. Pilar mentioned that Sarah had said that Ashleigh should just not use the veto if she does not want to be put into the position of having to choose between Zach and Pilar. Ashleigh said that it would be so stupid to not use it. Ashleigh wanted Pilar to emphasize that Godfrey would vote to keep Zach out because he would be the next big target if Zach were to leave. She felt that Sarah wouldn’t find it believable unless Pilar explained that. Ashleigh told Pilar that Godfrey is actually considering keeping Zach and that it’s not just a lie. Ashleigh said that she and Godfrey will be the next targets if Zach goes. Ashleigh told Pilar that everyone wants to take her to the end at this point. Pilar said that she would not be so sure about that. Ashleigh said that she is scared because she is now the bigger target than Pilar. Pilar asked her if it is more beneficial to keep her or to keep Zach. Ashleigh said that she is not even hesitating on that but she is concerned about what is going to happen moving forward. Pilar said that she is afraid since obviously Zach is going to make a pitch to everybody. Ashleigh said “at the end of the day, I will probably still keep you”.

3:00-4:00 PM: Brittnee told Godfrey that Ashleigh and Zach are purposely making Pilar worry so that she will campaign for Godfrey to go up. The two discussed that they would be fine getting second place if they were in the Final 2 together. Godfrey said that he owes Brittnee for saving him, though she did not want him to feel that she is holding that over his head. Sarah quickly came to Godfrey and apologized for “pulling a Bruno” on him and questioning him earlier. She said that she has faith in Godfrey and knows that he has to say what he has to say. Brittnee and Godfrey continued to talk about how Zach needs to go. They discussed that people would vote for Zach since they worked with him throughout the game. They also noted that Zach does not have much blood on his hands at all, as he got everyone else to make the moves for him. Brittnee told Godfrey about a conversation that she had with Zach in which Zach said that Godfrey approached him about the guys needing to stick together. Godfrey said that Zach was the one that approached him, saying that it would be what Bruno wants. Godfrey told Brittnee and Sarah that he will play along with Ashleigh. He said that he may continue to tell her that he is voting Pilar out. Sarah still could not believe that Ashleigh is entertaining the idea of keeping Zach. Godfrey said that she definitely is.

4:00-5:00 PM: Sarah told Brittnee that she will even tell Ashleigh and Pilar to their face that she is going after them if that’s what Godfrey wants. She then discussed that her goal since Day 1 has been to get Zach out of the house, so doing it on her HoH is what she cares about so much that she doesn’t even care about winning. Sarah wanted Godfrey to realize that she could be nominating him instead of Pilar. She hope that Godfrey would remember that and realize that it’s showing that she has more faith in him. She added that Ashleigh and Pilar are not workable and that she does not want to go anywhere near the end with them. Sarah admitted that she had wanted that as recently as a week ago, though she is now over it. Both Brittnee and Sarah agreed that they wouldn’t want to take those girls to the end even if they could for sure beat them. Sarah said that it’s not even a guarantee that they would, since it may look to them that Ashleigh and Pilar did not play the game but the others may see it as though the two of them are the ones that did not play the game. Both agreed that their ideal Final 3 would be the two of them along with Godfrey.

8:00-9:00 PM: Feeds returned following the veto ceremony. Ashleigh used the Power of Veto on herself. Sarah nominated Pilar as the replacement nominee. Sarah told Brittnee that she is nervous. Brittnee said that she is as well. They were unsure of how the votes would go. Sarah said that it’s over and done with and if Godfrey and Ashleigh want to be idiots, they will be. Sarah said that if Godfrey has any concern about a girls alliance, she is willing to tell Ashleigh and Pilar to their faces that she is after them because they lied to her. Brittnee said maybe it’s best not to say it unless he brings it up first, as it may put the thought into his head. Sarah said that Godfrey must see himself sitting in the middle. Brittnee questioned if he could really see himself having a better chance with Ashleigh and Zach. Sarah said that’s the thing. Zach then broke up the conversation. Elsewhere, Pilar told Ashleigh that she is just hoping for the best now.

9:00-10:00 PM: Pilar asked Ashleigh if she thinks that she will change her mind on Wednesday. Ashleigh said no. Pilar looked for confirmation twice more. Ashleigh said that she will not be changing her mind. Out in the hot tub, Zach said that once you get to a certain point there is nothing that you can do and you have to accept it. Brittnee told Zach that he is full of it and he is not going down without a fight. Zach said that he has played the game since Day 1 and he is going to continue to play it. Zach asked Brittnee if she is saying that he doesn’t have her vote. Brittnee said that right now he absolutely does not have her vote. Zach said that he doesn’t think that he is as good as they are giving him credit for. Brittnee said that she highly doubts that. Zach explained that people will look at what moves everyone has made, and he was only HoH once and took out his closest ally. He suggested that people like Brittnee that made big moves would be the bigger threat at to win the game.

Brittnee told Zach that he got to make every move that he wanted through others, without getting any blood on his hands. Zach said that people made the moves and he just watched. She jokingly asked if that was what he planned to say to the jury at the end of the game. Afterwards, Brittnee went to Sarah to fill her in on the talk that she had with Zach. Zach chatted with Ashleigh and Pilar. Pilar said that she wishes that things could be different, though there are no regrets. Zach agreed. Pilar said that things happen for a reason. She told Zach that she is not going to campaign because she is not going to go against him. Zach said he can’t see the house voting to keep him. Pilar told Ashleigh and Zach that it was a great ride with the two of them and she is glad that they chose their four people and stuck with it. She added that it’s not over yet and that whoever stays has to keep fighting.

10:00-11:00 PM: Godfrey spoke to Pilar and told her that she needs to put herself in the shoes of those that are voting, in order to see whether or not she will have the votes. He explained that if she were Godfrey she would likely vote to get rid of the dude that she said that she wanted to get rid of the entire time. If she was Brittnee, Godfrey said that Pilar would want to get rid of Zach since she has just nominated him twice and has to know that he will be after her. Pilar said that Ashleigh will also not vote against her. Godfrey questioned if that is because it is what Ashleigh really wants to do or because she has no choice since nobody else is voting to keep Zach. He said that he doesn’t want to stress Pilar out but it’s something to think about. Godfrey assured Pilar that he will be voting Zach out. He also said that he knows for sure that Brittnee will be doing the same.
