BBCAN3 Day 62 - Zach campaigns to Ashleigh and Brittnee
May 19, 2015
10:00-11:00 AM: Brittnee went to Sarah to inform her about Zach’s campaign pitch to her last night. Brittnee said that Zach explained that he will be loyal to whichever two people give him votes. She said that Zach pointed out that she will be a big target if he goes and that Godfrey would nominate Brittnee and Sarah, so it comes down to whether she wants to be a good game player or a good friend. Sarah said that Zach would nominate them too. Brittnee felt that Zach’s campaign made sense until he said that Ashleigh would not put her up if she won, since he was saying that she is the biggest threat to them but she would not go up. Brittnee told Sarah that Zach claims to not have made a Final 2 with Ashleigh. Sarah mentioned that Ashleigh made one with Bobby, so it’s hard to believe that she didn’t make one with Zach. Brittnee said that she respects Zach for campaigning and he got her thinking for about 2.5 seconds and then she was over it. Brittnee let Sarah know that she would rather stay true to who she is than screw her over. Sarah said that Zach is lying about wanting to take Brittnee to the Final 3 if she keeps him, though she said that it’s a good thing that he is campaigning since that means that he doesn’t think that he has Godfrey’s vote. Brittnee brought up that Zach said that Sarah would argue that she pulled the strings and that she has no blood on her hands, as opposed to Brittnee. Sarah said that no one would buy it that she was pulling the strings. Brittnee said that she has faith in Godfrey and he will either prove her right or prove her wrong, but it’s a chance that she is willing to take.
11:00-12:00 PM: Ashleigh told Pilar that Godfrey seems to be with them but due how he has positioned himself, he is not going to win HoH next week. Ashleigh said that that’s fine. She told Pilar that they have to nominate Brittnee and Sarah, targeting Sarah. Ashleigh explained that in the Final 4 it doesn’t matter who HoH is, as long as Brittnee doesn’t win it, because everyone but her will nominate Brittnee. Ashleigh said that nobody will want to take Brittnee to the end, while Sarah may be able to talk her way into getting to the end. Ashleigh told Pilar that Sarah can manipulate Godfrey to get him to keep her. Pilar said that she is right and that Sarah has to go first. Ashleigh also explained that the Final 4 veto is what means everything, since that winner has the lone vote. She figured that both of them and Godfrey would choose to evict Brittnee at that point.
12:00-1:00 PM: Brittnee filled Godfrey in on Zach’s campaign to her last night. Brittnee figures that Zach is giving the same speech to her that he gave to Ashleigh, so that’s why Ashleigh was willing to keep him around. Brittnee said that Zach mentioned that it’s a decision between being a good game player or a good friend. Brittnee pointed out that both logic and emotion suggest that Zach needs to go, as she is not going to carry the biggest threat into the last full week. Godfrey agreed. Brittnee and Godfrey agreed that it makes no sense that Ashleigh sees Brittnee as the biggest threat yet Zach was saying that Ashleigh would not put her up if Brittnee kept him. Godfrey said that Zach made the same pitch to him as well. Brittnee brought up that Zach said that Pilar will fly under the radar and make it to the Final 3, yet she questioned why would she want to keep the guy around that is saying that he will win comps over someone that quits comps. Brittnee said that Zach’s campaign is not working and that she gave Pilar her word that she would not vote her out. Brittnee and Godfrey agreed that it sucks that Pilar will get carried so close to the end, but Zach and Ashleigh have to go first.
1:00-2:00 PM: Zach told Ashleigh about his talk with Brittnee last night. Zach mentioned that he wasn’t even talking and then Brittnee brought up that if she evicts him she will become the biggest target on one side of the house, while Ashleigh would be the biggest target on the other side of the house. Zach said that Brittnee realizes that both her and Sarah are going up if anyone but her wins HoH next week. He said that she also realizes that Godfrey is in a great position. He explained that Brittnee can see that her chances of getting to the end are bad without him there as a big target in front of her. Zach told Ashleigh that she will have to put Pilar on her back and carry her to the end. He figured that it was unrealistic to think that the girls could make it to the end together, since Pilar is not going to win the competitions to help them get there. Zach pointed out that he will be the target heading into next week and that if anyone else wins the Final 4 veto, he would expect them to vote him out. Ashleigh said that she wouldn’t want to be at the end with Brittnee either. Zach said that it would never happen since Brittnee would vote him out. Zach told Ashleigh that she can’t focus on getting to the end with Pilar, since the chances of that are so slim, while her chances of getting to the end with him around are greater. Zach said that Ashleigh and Brittnee can go from the worst position heading into the Final 5 to one of the best, since he would nominate Godfrey and Sarah if he won and he would also go home before either of them. Ashleigh told Zach that the only people that she can beat in the end are Godfrey and Pilar, not him, Brittnee or Sarah.
2:00-3:00 PM: Brittnee and Zach chatted in the HoH room. Brittnee said that she is frustrated because she has put in all of this work and she is likely to go next week no matter what, unless she wins something. Zach said that she knows that Brittnee probably thought things over and figured that it is too crazy to keep him, though he thinks that it makes so much sense for her to keep him. Zach said that Ashleigh and Brittnee will sit in the worst position in the game if they vote him out, while Brittnee, Godfrey and Sarah sit in the best position. Brittnee acknowledged that Sarah is sitting in a good position, since the others see her as the bigger threat. Brittnee said that Zach wouldn’t take her to the Final 3 over Godfrey and Sarah. Zach assured Brittnee that he would give his loyalty solely to Ashleigh and Brittnee if they saved him.
Zach pointed out that he will go home if he does not win. Zach told Brittnee that she either votes with her heart or her head. Brittnee countered that by saying that voting him out is still voting with her heard, cause she cannot beat him in the end. Zach said that her chances of making it there would be better if he stayed. Zach again pointed out to Brittnee that he would leave if he doesn’t win, adding that Ashleigh already said that she would vote him out at the Final 4. Brittnee said that she cannot see it happening. Zach said that he would have control over Ashleigh and could keep Brittnee safe next week if either he or Ashleigh win HoH. Zach reiterated that he would have no reason to turn on her if she kept him, since all that he would have are the two people that saved him. Brittnee said that she feels that she is screwed either way. She said that she doesn’t know if she can keep Zach. Brittnee could not see Zach keeping her safe even if she saved him this week.
Brittnee said that this isn’t a matter of making an emotional decision. She explained that making a move against Sarah would be going against who she is as a person. Brittnee said that Sarah may throw her to the side like Jon did to Neda but that would be shame on her. Brittnee did not want to be someone that she is not. Zach pointed out that she has been the person to make moves to put herself in a good position also, so that should not stop either. Brittnee said that she would be going against the word that she gave Pilar when she said that she was voting to keep her. Brittnee also felt that Ashleigh would definitely take Zach to the Final 2, despite Zach continually saying that it would not happen. She pointed out that Zach is telling her not to make an emotional move this week, yet he is implying that he would make the emotional move in the future by keeping her around just because she saved him this week. Zach reassured her that he would keep her around. He said that he will respect whatever move Brittnee decides to make, though he truly believes that both Ashleigh and Brittnee would benefit by keeping him in the game as a target in front of them. Brittnee said that she respects Zach’s argument and the logic in it, though she feels that she faces an uphill battle either way.
4:00-5:00 PM: Brittnee told Pilar and Sarah that she is getting stressed out because Zach is campaigning and saying that the girls see her as a threat and therefore he should stay. Pilar asked Brittnee if she wants to keep her because she gave her her word or because she wants her there over Zach. Brittnee explained that Zach is the biggest threat in the house, being strong socially and in competitions. Sarah said that the only thing that they have to worry about at this point is taking out whoever has the best shot at winning the game and at winning the upcoming competitions, which is Zach. Brittnee told Pilar that Zach is implying that Ashleigh would be the other person voting Pilar out. Pilar said that Ashleigh is telling her that she will not vote her out, though she has been talking to Zach a lot lately. Pilar said that she will see where Ashleigh’s loyalties lie tomorrow. Sarah pointed out that Zach isn’t even talking to Godfrey anymore, so he wont be getting his vote. She also said that Brittnee is probably keeping Zach, so there is no need for any of them to stress out. Brittnee told Pilar that her logic and her emotion meet up in the exact same place, which is why she would vote to keep Pilar. Sarah told Brittnee that Zach is trying to manipulate the facts to get her emotions jumbled. She said that she cannot be stressing out heading into the competition tomorrow, thinking that everything is on the line when it is not. Sarah asked Pilar if she would be upset if Ashleigh gave Zach a sympathy vote. Pilar said that it would upset her but it’s Big Brother and she cannot take anything to heart.
5:00-6:00 PM: Brittnee told Sarah that she doesn’t want Zach to ask her to be something that she is not for $100,000. Sarah said it’s because Zach is phrasing it that Brittnee has to turn on her to win it. Brittnee said yes and that she cannot be that person. Brittnee said that if Sarah turns on her then so be it. Sarah explained that it’s not best for their games to do it, which is likely why they felt so comfortable promising each other things from the start. Sarah told Brittnee that Zach is doing anything that he can. Brittnee agreed, saying that she respects that because he is a player and he cannot just roll over and die. The thing that Brittnee didn’t like is that Zach is implying that not turning on Sarah would mean that she is playing emotionally and not logically.
12:00-1:00 AM: Sarah told Godfrey that she has faith in him and in Brittnee for tomorrow’s HoH competition. Godfrey said that he thinks that they have got it. He told her that this is the most confident that he has felt heading into an HoH competition. Sarah felt that they had hope with the people remaining in the house, saying that she is evenly matched with Godfrey and Brittnee. Godfrey agreed. Godfrey said that he thinks that he needs at least one HoH win in order to have a chance at winning the game. Sarah said that she is hoping that she will be able to say that she got Zach out of the game. She mentioned that she has no shot in hell against anyone in the Final 2. Godfrey said that they are evenly matched. Sarah then said that Godfrey would be her best bet, which led him to say that she made him feel even worse than he already did. They discussed that Ashleigh and Pilar will get jury votes just because of who they are. Godfrey didn’t think that they would need much of an argument, since the Chop Shop would reward them solely for making it to the end. Sarah hoped that sending Zach out would make the jury start to rethink things. Brittnee then spoke to Godfrey and said that she feels bad to see Zach go, since he’s a nice guy. That being said, she pointed out that it’s too late in the game to keep people around to be targets. Godfrey agreed and told Brittnee that Zach is using the same campaign pitch with everyone. Pilar spoke to Godfrey to ask what he is doing with his vote. Godfrey said that he will not be voting her out, which Pilar thanked him for.
1:00-2:00 AM: Zach asked Ashleigh what she will do if she wins HoH next week. Ashleigh said that she would nominate Brittnee and Sarah, targeting Sarah. Ashleigh’s concern with doing that is that she believes that she has better chance at beating Sarah in the Final 2. Zach agreed with that but pointed out that Sarah is more likely to talk and manipulate her way to the end. He figured that Brittnee would have to win her way out in order to get to the end, since nobody would want to take her. Zach said that Sarah is the better game player and she will win the game if they don’t take a shot at her next week. Ashleigh said that Zach is right. Zach then advised her to pull Brittnee in when she is sending Sarah out, saying that she feels that Brittnee can add value to her game so she needs to keep her. Zach said that it may not work but you never know, as his one little talk with Bruno saved him during the triple eviction.
Zach suggested making Brittnee feel as though the two of them and Pilar are a triangle, with Godfrey on the outside, before backstabbing her in the Final 4. He also advised her to use Godfrey and pump it down his throat that Brittnee and Sarah will win the game and have to go. He said that Ashleigh has to play as cutthroat as she needs to be, never believing anything that Brittnee and Sarah tell her for the rest of the game. Zach reiterated that those two girls need to go whenever Ashleigh gets the chance to send them out, cause Ashleigh will never beat them and they will never take her. Zach figured that Sarah would be able to make a good case now, since she won the veto to save herself and then got him out. Ashleigh didn’t think that she would have much to say to the jury. Zach told her to say that she set herself up to be safe in the game, getting in good alliances and working behind Zach and Kevin so that she would always have two guys ahead of her to take the hit for her.
Sarah asked Pilar how she feels about tomorrow. Pilar said that she thinks that she is good but she doesn’t want to be too comfortable due to the possibility of there being a twist. Pilar then spoke to Ashleigh about next week. Ashleigh said that Zach has been coaching her and they need to get Sarah out before Brittnee. Pilar was concerned about giving Brittnee a chance to make it to the Final 2, though Ashleigh explained the same things to Pilar that Zach had explained to her previously. They figure that Godfrey will not want to win HoH tomorrow, so it will be the two of them against Brittnee. Pilar said that they have to believe in themselves, because they can do this. She added that they need to give themselves the chance to decide who they take to the end, because they want to do that rather than be chosen to go to the end.
