BBCAN3 Day 65 - Ashleigh Wins the Power of Veto
May 22, 2015
10:00-11:00 AM: Brittnee asked Godfrey to be honest with her. She asked who he wants to go to the Final 2 with. Godfrey said that he wants to go with Brittnee. She said that she wants to go with Godfrey as well. Godfrey said that Brittnee could easily beat him but she has saved him so many times in this game, so he would much rather go to the end with her over the others. Godfrey said that they have been on the block the same amount of times. Godfrey admitted that he could argue that he did not have the best luck in competitions but still found a way to survive and make it to the end. Brittnee said that she has won the competitions but she doesn’t know if she would necessarily win, though she is more concerned with getting to the Final 2 at this point. Godfrey brought up that Ashleigh has two guaranteed votes, from Zach and Pilar. Brittnee felt that Ashleigh would also have Kevin, Bobby and Bruno. Brittnee said that she has no desire to sit next to Ashleigh at the end.
Brittnee told Godfrey that she feels as though she did not talk enough game on the way, so she is concerned about the limited connections that she has. Brittnee said she can use it has her argument that she got herself off of the block five times. On the other hand, Brittnee felt that Sarah did all of the talking and built the connections. Godfrey said that Sarah is viewed as the mastermind. Brittnee told him that as much as Sarah says that she wont use it, it’s concerning. Godfrey said that Sarah wouldn’t even have to say it, since the others already think it. He told Brittnee that her only chance of beating Sarah at the end would be if the jurors are bitter towards Sarah. Godfrey said that what Ashleigh has been saying about people thinking that Sarah is the mastermind is scaring him to take her. He admitted to Brittnee that he has had this same discussion about Final 2 with Sarah. Brittnee asked what Sarah said. Godfrey said the same thing that Brittnee is, such as that she is weighing the options. Brittnee said that she doesn’t think that Sarah is actually worried about the votes. Godfrey agreed, noting that Sarah doesn’t have the same stressful look that Brittnee does. Brittnee said that she originally thought that she was on an even playing field with Sarah, though she now thinks that Sarah would beat her.
11:00-12:00 PM: Sarah told Godfrey that Ashleigh is covering all her bases. Godfrey said that she got Brittnee paranoid and asking him if he is going to save Ashleigh, which he is not. Sarah said that the only think that is concerned is Ashleigh winning the veto. Godfrey said that Ashleigh campaigned to him last night and said that he would guaranteed $20,000 if he kept her. Sarah said that shows how secure she feels with the votes. Sarah informed Godfrey that Ashleigh came to her and Brittnee last night to tell them how many jury votes Godfrey would have, right after she talked to him. Godfrey said that he already knew that. Sarah questioned who Ashleigh seems to be more scared of, him or Brittnee. Godfrey said that she is more scared of Brittnee for sure. Sarah told Godfrey that Ashleigh would have votes from Zach, Pilar, Kevin, Bobby and Bruno against him, with Willow possibly voting for her as well. Sarah said that the list of threats is clear at this point. Godfrey said that it goes Ashleigh, Brittnee, Sarah and then himself. Sarah said that it’s funny because she didn’t think that Ashleigh was threatening a couple of weeks ago.
After Godfrey left, Sarah then spoke to Brittnee and told her about her talk with Godfrey. She explained that she told him that Ashleigh was covering all of her bases since she told both of them that Godfrey cannot be beaten. Brittnee said that she talked Final 2 with Godfrey and he told her that Sarah cannot be beaten. Sarah said that Godfrey says the same thing to her about Brittnee. Brittnee said that she was just trying to cover her bases like Ashleigh is doing, since Sarah told her to talk to Godfrey. Sarah said that’s perfect and that’s all that they need to do. Brittnee said that Godfrey is a tough guy to figure out and that she has no idea what would happen if he were to win the Power of Veto.
11:00-12:00 AM: Ashleigh won the Power of Veto. The girls chatted in the HoH room. Brittnee told Ashleigh that she doesn’t want her to count her out, cause she had a revelation that Godfrey will have a lot of votes. Brittnee said that Ashleigh will have to figure out who will benefit her game more, cause she doesn’t see Godfrey taking Ashleigh over Sarah. Ashleigh said that she expects that she can only get to the end by taking herself. Sarah chimed in and said that Godfrey has a lot of jury votes and has the best chance at getting votes from Bobby and Bruno. Brittnee said that she knew that it would be risky if she didn’t win the veto but it’s awesome that Ashleigh won because she will make the logical decision. Sarah said that they have no idea what Godfrey is capable of. Brittnee agreed and said they cannot rely on Godfrey not winning competitions. She also said that the jury knows how good Godfrey’s social game is. Sarah asked Ashleigh if Godfrey has told her that he would take her to the Final 2. Ashleigh said that of course he has and she expects that he is telling her the same. Sarah said that she feels that Godfrey would take her, since there are people that would never vote for her. She suggested that Godfrey is telling them that he would take them because he thinks that he can beat them. Godfrey broke up the talk.
Sarah told Brittnee that she will be honest with Ashleigh and tell her that she would not take her to the end, since people think that she ran Brittnee’s game so she could beat her easier. Sarah would then explain that that’s why Brittnee may take Ashleigh over her, while Godfrey would take Sarah over Ashleigh. Sarah said that everyone will take her since she is useless and has made enemies on the jury. Brittnee said that they fought so hard to be there and she knew that it would be an uphill battle but she didn’t realize how much it would hurt to make one wrong move. Brittnee quit the veto competition. Brittnee pointed out that she has saved Godfrey so many times and she wishes that he could have pulled this out. Sarah said that Godfrey looked devastated. Brittnee wondered if he really wanted to win or not. Sarah said that the smart move would be for Ashleigh to take Godfrey, but they have got to convince her otherwise. Sarah wondered if she should use some reverse psychology on Ashleigh, saying that she wants her to get rid of Brittnee. Sarah said that she would be proud of Ashleigh if she wins cause, after all of their frustration with her, she deserves it at this point. Brittnee felt that she had underestimated Ashleigh but she has played a good game. Sarah said that Ashleigh had it easier than them but she has stepped up while on her own.
Godfrey and Ashleigh then spoke in the bedroom. He pointed out to Ashleigh that Brittnee and Sarah are going to take each other for sure. He explained that Sarah is upset and she never gets upset over someone leaving, so you can tell that she wanted to go to the end with Brittnee. Godfrey also believes that Sarah knows that her chances of winning the game went down. Godfrey told Ashleigh that if Brittnee and Sarah really believed that he was such a good player then they would have voted him out over Pilar. Godfrey said that it’s insulting that they voted Pilar out over him. Godfrey told Ashleigh that he is taking her to the Final 2 100%. Ashleigh asked Godfrey if he will give her his word. Godfrey said 150%. Ashleigh was concerned that Sarah would get in Godfrey’s ear. Godfrey told her that the jury would figure that he got manipulated by Sarah if he took her to the end. They discussed that Sarah will have votes from Jordan, Sindy, Willow and Brittnee locked up, while Godfrey said that Bruno is the only one that would probably not vote for Sarah.
Ashleigh said that Zach and Pilar are the only two votes that she knows that she has. She told Godfrey that he likely has Bobby and Bruno, but Godfrey disagreed and said that Bobby would vote for Ashleigh since he had a crush on her. Ashleigh then said that she would take Godfrey for that reason, since the votes are confusing between the two of them, whereas she knows that Sarah would beat her. Godfrey agreed and said that Sarah controlled much of the second half of the game, seeing as she controlled Brittnee. Ashleigh discussed saying in her veto speech that two of her allies and friends, Zach and Pilar, were sent out, so that logic would suggest that the best move is to now split up the duo that have been in power for the past couple of weeks. They then started talking about how Sarah would have a number of votes in jury since everyone sees her as the mastermind behind Brittnee’s moves. Ashleigh revealed that Zach had advised her to get Sarah out before Brittnee for that reason. Godfrey said that he can at least get some votes against Ashleigh, as opposed to possibly getting zero with Sarah.
12:00-1:00 AM: Brittnee told Sarah that she better make it to the Final 2. Sarah said that she will kill herself in the competitions trying to make it. Brittnee said that Ashleigh is good but Sarah cannot sell herself short. Brittnee reflect on her own game, as she expects to be the one to go. She said that she is a gamer and is a very competitive person. Brittnee said that she doesn’t know if Ashleigh would take Sarah. Sarah said that she doesn’t think that she would either. She expects Ashleigh and Godfrey to take each other, though Sarah said that the smart thing would be for both of them to take her. Sarah said that she will tell Ashleigh that she would never take her, though that should show her that she thinks that she could never beat Ashleigh. Sarah told Brittnee that she could bring up that the only votes that Ashleigh is having doubts about are Sindy, Willow, Brittnee and Godfrey, which are the only possible votes that Sarah could get over Ashleigh. On the other hand, Sarah said that Godfrey would get Sindy, Willow, Brittnee and her voting for him. On top of that, Sarah said that Godfrey would have Bobby and Bruno in order to put him over the edge and give him the win. Brittnee said that when you put it like that it would be smart to keep her over Godfrey. Sarah agreed. Brittnee felt that Ashleigh had the best chance to win the final HoH, so it would be most appealing to be able to take either of them. Sarah said that it all comes down to the Bobby and Bruno thing with Godfrey. Brittnee said that that’s the argument that she will give Ashleigh tomorrow.
