Celebrity Big Brother 2 Day 15 - Natalie wins the Power of Veto
January 30, 2019
11:00-12:00 AM: Feeds returned at 11:08 after players were picked for the veto competition. The veto players are Tom, Joey, Kandi, Dina, Lolo and Natalie. Tamar went to Tom, mentioning that she is not competing, to ask if she is safe this week. Tom said he thinks she is. Tamar said “you think?”. Tom said he thinks she is safe, plus he thinks she knows that she is safe too. Tamar went to Natalie to let her know about the comment that Tom made. She wasn’t sure what it meant. Tamar asked if she is the target if Joey takes himself off of the block. Natalie said she has no idea but Tamar would have the votes anyway.
12:00-1:00 PM: Joey and Tamar spoke in the gym. Joey brought up that whoever has the power is going to be in for a rude awakening. He said there will be hyenas out to get that person. Tamar said that is stupid. Joey argued that nobody is ever going to believe that person again, and no alliance will ever want to include them. Tamar said these people have turned something that was supposed to be fun and a reward into something bad. She said it’s the definition of bullying since people want to make that person pay for getting a reward. Joey agreed. Lolo checked in with Tom. She said it’s hard to keep up with what his plan is. Lolo said she needs to know the plan before she plays in the veto competition, especially in case there is a quick turnaround before the veto ceremony. When the talk broke up, Tamar asked Tom what he mean by his earlier comment. Tom asked what she thinks he meant. Tamar said at first she thought he meant that she is safe, then she wondered if he meant she got the power that doesn’t have. Tamar let Tom know that she will take it as him making good on his threat if he puts her up. Lolo and Natalie then spoke to Tom again, looking for more clarity on the plan. Tom explained that Ricky said he didn’t want to be in an alliance with them, then he got on board only after Kato won HoH. For that reason, Tom said he didn’t ever view the five as an official alliance. Tom said Ricky is their biggest threat, so he would like to backdoor Ricky right now. Lolo argued that it will put them in a bad spot for next week. Tom said Dina loves both he and Kato, and Joey likes them too. Lolo said Joey only likes the guys. Natalie said Joey would put her and Lolo up if he wins HoH. Lolo told Tom it’s hard to understand where his loyalty lies when he is doing things like this. Tom said they can get Joey out next after Ricky goes this week. Lolo said it’s not cool that Tom is only thinking about himself. Tom said Joey will have the girls backs once they win the veto and use it on him. Lolo and Natalie disagreed.
1:00-2:00 PM: Tom told Lolo that he is willing to let her decide who they pick off each week for the rest of the show if she goes along with the plan to evict Ricky. Lolo said she doesn’t want that and it wont work out that way anyway. Lolo said she is not saying no to the plan but she wants a chance to talk to Natalie about it. Tom asked Lolo to promise that she doesn’t have a three person alliance with Natalie and Ricky. Lolo promised that she doesn’t but said she may have her blinders on since Ricky has voted with the group and never done anything against the group. Tom argued that a fifth member is unnecessary and will only divide the group. Lolo said she is leaning towards Tom’s plan but she is not all the way there yet. Lolo and Natalie then discussed the plan. Natalie said she feels as though Ricky is on their side, and they will be left wide open if he is gone. Lolo had said the same thing to Tom during their talk. The girls said they don’t know what to do, but they agreed that Tom is basically telling them what they have to do. Lolo felt that Tom threatened her by saying that they have the votes no matter what she and Natalie do. Lolo and Natalie came to the realization that Kato and Tom must be threatened by the potential of them having a three person alliance with Ricky, making them want to get rid of their protection. Meanwhile, Kato and Tom discussed that they will know the girls have an alliance with Ricky if they don’t use the veto. Tom said they will have to break up their alliance with Lolo and Natalie if this plan does not work out. Tom figured there is a 60% chance that they are being betrayed by those two at the moment. Tom admitted that he is not nominating Ricky because he thinks he has the power, since he thinks Tamar has it, but rather because he is the strongest one in the house. Natalie came upstairs to talk to the guys. Natalie said Ricky would for sure nominate Tamar if he wins HoH, but he will be coming for blood if he is nominated and has the power. Tom said they will be able to get Ricky out even without Lolo and Natalie’s votes. Natalie said that’s not how a team works. Tom once again went over his reasons for wanting Ricky out. Kato said Ricky always says “it’s just a game”, which could mean that he would not think twice about breaking their alliance.
2:00-3:00 PM: Joey spoke to Lolo, Natalie and Tamar. He said Tom has to go if he is ever vulnerable. Joey, Lolo and Tamar all said that they were threatened by Tom at some point over the past two days. Joey said Tom is a very fragile person and is extremely insecure in some areas. Joey explained that they all don’t trust him now, so they shouldn’t even have to talk about what decision needs to be made if Tom is vulnerable over the next 2-3 days. Joey said you have got to stick to the plan. Joey thinks Kato is much savvier than top, being the life of the party. Joey discussed that Tom has cracked but Kato has not. Joey said Kato and Tom picked people to work with who they believed that they could manipulate, but the girls were smarter than that. Joey added that you don’t think people are smarter than you when you are arrogant. He said if it’s not him at the end, please take Kato and Tom down since it will be great to watch. Joey let Lolo, Natalie and Tamar know that he would like to get to the end with them. He pointed out that they can flip the house this week if they silently work together as a four. Joey suggested that they talk to Ricky as well. Even if he wins the veto, Joey said he will not use it since he would have the votes. They discussed that Dina and Kandi cannot win the veto, then they should be able to get the numbers to evict Kandi.
3:00-4:00 PM: Natalie spoke to Ricky about all that has transpired. She revealed that Kato and Tom have been discussing backdooring Ricky. She then mentioned that Joey is on board with them to keep nominations the same even if he wins the veto. Natalie said Ricky will have the votes even if he does go on the block. Ricky doesn’t think that Tom plans to backdoor him. From his conversation with him, Ricky’s read is that Tom is going to nominate Tamar. Ricky asked if they are for sure breaking up the five. Natalie said no. Ricky suggested that they evict Joey then, and go after Kato and Tom next week if they win HoH. Joey and Ricky later spoke. Joey went over the plan with Ricky. Joey said it will bring them one step closer to getting Kato or Tom on the block, and they have to break them up. Joey said those two guys spoke to him as if Ricky is a pawn for them, saying “Ricky is handled”. The guys discussed that it would be fun to get to the end with Lolo, Natalie and Tamar. Ricky then went to Natalie to say he feels good with Joey. Ricky thanked Lolo and Natalie for having his back. Both Natalie and Ricky agreed that they need to make a new alliance if they win HoH.
4:00-5:00 PM: Kato told Tom that Ricky was very convincing when he spoke to him. Tom asked if Kato is now wanting to evict Joey. Kato said he is feeling it. Tom said he will go with the plan to evict Joey if the rest of the alliance is going to chicken out. The guys spoke to Natalie, asking her if she wants to vote Joey out or Ricky out. Natalie said she hasn’t had time to speak with Lolo alone yet. Tom asked her to make some time because they need to know. Once Natalie left the room, Tom told Kato he is pretty sure that the girls are lying to them. He said they have had three hours to talk, so they should nominate Ricky anyway. Downstairs, Natalie told Ricky that Kato and Tom want to backdoor him. She also said they want to talk to Lolo. Ricky suggested giving them a false sense of security but try to keep him off of the block. Lolo, Natalie, Kato and Tom then spoke. Lolo addressed her concerns with the plan to backdoor Ricky. Tom said the decision is up to the girls, which will be his way of showing his loyalty to them. Lolo said they believe it’s best to keep Ricky around for another week. They did all agreed to give it 24 hours to see what they think following the veto competition. Kato and Tom left the talking feeling that Lolo and Natalie were being truthful. Kato said he now feels reassured. They discussed nominating Tamar if Joey wins the veto.
5:00-6:00 PM: Lolo and Natalie were left wondering whether or not they should try to win the veto. Lolo suggested going for it so that Tom cannot backdoor them. Up in the HoH room, Tom told Kato that it might be more important to manage their relationship with their allies than to get Ricky out of the house. Feeds went down for the veto competition at 5:26.
9:00-10:00 PM: Feeds returned at 9:17 following the veto competition. Natalie won the Power of Veto. Ricky asked Lolo and Natalie what the plan is. Natalie said she is not going to use the veto. She said she will explain that she doesn’t feel comfortable backdooring one of their teammates. Natalie then told Tamar that it’s nice that they don’t have to worry about being backdoored. Tamar questioned what the girls are going to do when they keep Joey. Natalie said they can figure it out later but all they agreed to was working together for one week.
10:00-11:00 PM: Natalie told Lolo that Tamar is never happy. She pointed to Tamar asking about what they plan to do with Joey. Lolo then said that Tamar can go before Dina. They had earlier told Tamar that they will target Tom and Kato followed by Dina. Natalie wondered why all of a sudden Tamar is trying to save Kandi. Natalie said she is baffled by that. Lolo said there is no way that it’s going to happen.
12:00-1:00 AM: Tamar asked Natalie if she doesn’t remember Joey standing in the room talking about a Final 5. Natalie said that’s fine with her even if he did say Final 5, but he did say a week. Tamar said she ain’t tripping about it but she just knows that Joey said a Final 5. Natalie pointed out that Tom’s whole demeanour has shifted now that she has the veto, which she does not like. Natalie explained that Tom would like her to use the veto so that he can nominate Ricky or Tamar. Natalie said she is not using the veto, since she is not going to have Tom Green try to backdoor her roommates. Natalie said that Kato and Tom asking her to swear so much reminds her of a boyfriend who is cheating. Tamar said they were doing some straight bullying, which goes against everything that she stands for. Natalie brought up that Tom told her she can use the veto on Joey when she wins it, prior to her winning it, but she is not a pawn who is there only to do what she is told. They discussed that Dina and Kato cannot win HoH, because Dina winning is the same as Kato winning. Lolo then spoke to Ricky about the build up to this point. Lolo said they will have to have Natalie’s back for sticking her neck out and not using the veto. Lolo added that they kept fighting to keep things as is with the five, yet everything they said to Kato and Tom failed to work. Lolo took it as Kato and Tom focusing solely on what covers them the best. They discussed that they hope the trust between the three of them keeps going. Lolo said she tried to tip Ricky off on the plan last night, but things didn’t start falling into place until Joey started talking to them today. Lolo said Kato and Tom stressed that Ricky is the strongest player and therefore he has to go. Lolo also let Ricky know that the guys were talking about saving Joey and bringing him in even though they already have Ricky.
1:00-2:00 AM: Lolo filled Natalie in on her conversation with Ricky. They agreed that Ricky knows he can trust the two of them. Natalie said she thinks that they made the right move. Both said they would rather be sniped by Ricky than Tom. Lolo said she doesn’t like it when a guy is threatening. Natalie didn’t like that the guys said they don’t need their votes to get Ricky out. Natalie said she is fine with their new Final 5. They talked about letting Ricky win HoH to take the shot at Kato and Tom if they are able to do so. If not, they said they have to gun for HoH.
