Celebrity Big Brother 3 Day 21 - Todd nominates Carson and Lamar
February 15, 2022
9:23 AM: Todd told Lamar and Todrick that if Carson is on the block with a pawn instead of Cynthia, he will choose to leave over Cynthia and therefore would not use the veto if he wins it. Todd said he doesn’t know if it will work or not but he thinks that it will. Todd stressed that Carson cannot win the veto. Todrick said he doesn’t understand the point of putting up a pawn. He added that it wouldn’t work if anyone but Lamar went up as the pawn. Todd said it would be Lamar going up next to Carson. Lamar said that he doesn’t mind being the pawn, and it’s a win-win for him even if he leaves. Todrick pointed out that the only way to prevent Cynthia from having a vote is by putting her on the block. He told Todd that Cynthia is expecting to go up. Todd said he doesn’t want to ruffle both side, plus it could benefit his game to keep Cynthia off of the block.
9:50 AM: Todd asked Todrick if he thinks that putting Lamar up is the right thing to do. Todrick said 1000%. Todrick said this isn’t a stressful decision. He let Todd know that he and Miesha made a deal with Carson and Cynthia that they were not going to put them up this week since they were saving Miesha, so Todd would have been put up by someone. Todrick said that considering not putting Cynthia up is a very gracious move on Todd’s part, as she will be expecting to hit the block. Todrick said it may look weird to the viewers that Lamar is going up, but they don’t know that Lamar is campaigning to go home. Todrick suggested that Todd explain in the diary room that Lamar has one foot out the door and has struggled with the game. Todd said they have to win the veto. Todrick said worst case scenario, Carson wins and they send Lamar home.
9:56 AM: Todd let Lamar know that he is going to put him up. Lamar asked what the veto winner gets to do. Todd told Lamar that if he wins the veto, he can save a nominee or leave nominations the same. Todrick said he should leave nominations the same if he wins.
11:17 AM: Lamar told Todrick that he didn’t think this show was going to be as emotionally draining as it is. Todrick asked if it was a hard decision for him yesterday. Lamar admitted that it was since he didn’t have any beef with Shanna. In addition to that, he said that he wants the competition to be taken out. When he commented that Miesha is a beast, Todrick questioned if Lamar, in 2022, wants to be helping a white blonde girl get to the end. Lamar said the colour of Shanna’s skin didn’t matter. He also asked what the difference is when Miesha and Shanna are both white. Todrick said one of them is a hard worker and not manipulative. Lamar said he hadn’t met either of them until they got in the house, and he does not know how they live their lives.
11:35 AM: Todrick told Lamar the whole reason why he hasn’t been put up is because they have been making sure that he hasn’t gone up. Lamar said that’s a mistake since he will turn against them when they least expect. He added that he can already see that that’s where this is going.
11:50 AM: Todd talked to Miesha about what he should say in his nomination speech. They discussed that it is best to avoid saying that he doesn’t want to put Cynthia up since she is not his target. The concern was that Carson may then assume that pulling himself down would result in Lamar going. Todd hoped that Carson would choose not to use the veto if he thinks that Cynthia would leave if he does.
11:53 AM: Todd let Carson know that he is going to put him on the block next to Lamar. Carson thanked Todd for the heads up. He said that it gives him time to focus and try to win a veto in order to stay there for as long as he can.
11:58 AM: Carson let Cynthia know that he will be going on the block next to Lamar. He said it’s great that Cynthia is not going to be up there too.
12:05 PM: Big Brother gave the houseguests a new deck of cards, which had been requested by Todrick. Lamar ripped a couple of the cards upon their arrival. Todrick said he cannot believe that Lamar would do that. Lamar said he can’t believe a lot of things that they are talking about doing or saying. When Todrick questioned what he is talking about, Lamar said that he does not have to explain himself. Todrick said he would never have done that to something that Lamar requested, and he would not have found it funny had he done it.
12:27 PM: Todd told Miesha that he spoke to Carson about going on the block. Todd said Carson expected it. Todd suggested that whoever wins HoH next should put Lamar up so that they can send him out since he doesn’t want to stay anyway.
2:04 PM: Cynthia told Carson that she had a revelation. Carson said he did too. They discussed that it’s great that Cynthia is not going on the block, since she could save both of them if she happens to win the veto.
4:01 PM: Feeds went down for the nomination ceremony.
4:52 PM: Feeds returned. Todd nominated Carson and Lamar for eviction.
6:42 PM: Cynthia told Carson that Miesha and Todrick are going to be very hard to beat. She wondered why she and Carson are not both on the block together. Carson said he doesn’t know either since they could have put them both up, took him out, took her out, and then had their final four. Cynthia agreed and said it must be for strategic purposes but she isn’t sure why. They talked about how they made it pretty far without grovelling and campaigning. Cynthia said she is going to ride it out with Carson and she is glad that she chose to play this way no matter what happens. Carson added that they will keep it classy.
12:09 AM: Todd told Lamar he thought it was a fair thing to do to tell Carson that he was putting him up, since he respects him. Todd mentioned that he would lose to Todrick in the final two but he may have a shot at winning against Miesha. Todd said everyone would vote for Carson to win, as he is the most liked in the house.
