Celebrity Big Brother Day 16 - James uses the PoV; Mark is nominated

11:00-12:00 PM: Marissa and Ross looked ahead to what will happen once Shannon is gone. Marissa and Ross are most concerned about Omarosa. Marissa thinks Omarosa believes that the two of them screwed her. Both agreed that Omarosa needs to go before James. Ross said she would be the only one that would nominate the two of them together. In the event of a double eviction, Ross suggested nominating Omarosa and Mark. Mark would be the pawn. If the veto is used, they would then nominate James. As for this week, Ross said he is going to be firm with Brandi if she brings up saying Shannon again. Meanwhile, Metta checked in with Ari and Brandi to see if they are still planning on targeting Shannon. They said yes. Afterwards, Shannon made her way to the HoH room. Brandi let her know that she talked to people and doesn’t think that anything can be done. Shannon said she believes that Marissa, Ross, James and Mark are working together. She said Ari and Brandi will have a really hard time if James or Mark get HoH. Shannon mentioned that Metta has said they need to get James out, and the two of them are willing to help in doing that in order to lift Ari and Brandi up in to a better position to win the game. Shannon brought up that James, Mark, Marissa and Ross keep pulling each other in to rooms to whisper. As for herself, Shannon said she is alone. She suggested breaking up a pair. Shannon said she would probably go after Mark or Ross in order to get a guy out, cause it will be an even 4-4 split if she leaves. Shannon said she is willing to nominate whoever Ari and Brandi want her to, and she will throw whichever competitions they want her to as well. Shannon said people are going to try and split up Ari and Brandi, leaving them with nobody. If they opt to strike first, Shannon said she can help them further themselves.
12:00-1:00 PM: Ari asked Marissa who she thinks the pawn should be. Marissa pointed out that Mark has offered. Brandi said they would be smart to break up Mark and James, though it can’t be done. She said it should be the next move. Marissa agreed. Ari asked Marissa if she has anything with James and Mark. Marissa said she has nothing with either of them except for the deal with James that Ari is also a part of. Ross joined them. Brandi revealed that Shannon begged them to save her, saying she thinks Marissa and Ross are aligned with James and Mark. Ross said it’s not true. Ari added that Shannon was saying Marissa and Ross would eventually try to get rid of them. Ross said Shannon is as dangerous as Omarosa in terms of planting seeds. Brandi said she will lie to Shannon’s face about wanting her there because it is easier than seeing Shannon cry. Brandi said that keeping Shannon would be a huge mistake. They then discussed the plan for the replacement nominee. Ross said Mark could go up since he has volunteered. Brandi thought that might calm Shannon. Ari said the problem with nominating Omarosa would be that people may vote her out. Ross argued that putting her up would ensure that she has no interest in keeping Shannon. Marissa said that nominating Omarosa could lead a fight and more lies, plus Omarosa is cocky enough to think that they would backdoor her. They agreed to talk to Mark about going up. Ross went to Mark to fill him in. Mark was on board with the plan.
1:00-2:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. James used the Power of Veto on himself. Ari nominated Mark as the replacement nominee. Marissa and Ross headed to the back bedroom. Ross said Ari and Brandi are selling them down the river, making it seem to Shannon that they are behind her eviction, so he planted a seed with her by saying she will see what really happened once she gets home. In the bathroom, Shannon told James he needs to break up the pairs. She pointed out that Ari and Brandi, and Marissa and Ross, need to be split up. Shannon said Marissa and Ross are more dangerous since they know the game. Shannon told James that she would go after those two. Up in the HoH room, Ross told Ari, Brandi and Marissa that he is going to assume everything Shannon said is an “atomic bomb”. Brandi asked that they don’t leave her alone with Shannon, cause Shannon gets to her. Ross told Ari he is proud of her. He said they have been loyal to each other. Ari said Shannon has to go since she tried to talk bad about Marissa and Ross. Ross again denied being with James and Mark. Ross then headed downstairs. He asked James who he would go after. James said he wants to honour the Final 5 that they have, but he is concerned that he will be the first one out if he doesn’t have a Final 2 within that five. James asked Ross to consider it. Ross simply said he trusts the group right now. They both agreed that they love Mark. James said he wouldn’t mind a Final 4 with Marissa, Mark and Ross. Ross said they should focus on Omarosa for now. Ross said he thinks James needs to get her out since she is toxic. James agreed that she is. He told Ross he likes to honour his word but Ari and Brandi already completely went against what they all agreed on by nominating him next to Shannon.
2:00-3:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Ross told the girls that James approached him and asked if they can trust the girls. Ross said James also asked who they should put up next, so he told him they should all have a conversation about it. Ross said he is committed to the group so he wanted them to know everything. Brandi told Ross that he will have to make James believe that he will turn on them in one more week. The goal is to get James to take out Omarosa. Ross asked who they would want James to nominate. Brandi said Omarosa and Metta, and then they would save Metta. Ross asked what the plan is if they win HoH tomorrow. Brandi said they should put up James and Mark. Marissa and Ross suggested backdooring James, which Brandi agreed with. They then discussed nominating Mark and Omarosa. Ari thought that it would be best to get Mark out if nominations stayed the same. Brandi, Marissa and Ross all said Omarosa should go. Ari’s argument was that they should break up James and Mark. Brandi noted that they would all win against Mark if he made it to the end. Ross said Mark is not as dangerous as Omarosa is, since she can make up rumours that will stick both inside and outside of the house. They agreed to wait until the scenario presents itself before making a final decision.
4:00-5:00 PM: James, Mark and Ross discussed the plan for next week. Ross said he knows that all of the girls want Omarosa out. James asked Mark if Omarosa would be his target. Mark said of course. Ross said he would nominate Omarosa and Metta, trying to get Omarosa out. Ross brought up that Shannon is telling people that the three of them are aligned. James said she is such a little rat right now, trying to blow up his game cause she got beat at her favourite game. Ross said the girls don’t believe it anyway. Ross told James and Mark they need to think about the fact that the jury will have more girls on it. Ross said they should think about sitting next to a guy at the end. James said he brought that up before too. Mark said James and Ross will never be his targets. James said Ross would lose to the girls too. Ross agreed. After Mark left, Ross pointed out that they aren’t an alliance even though everyone thinks they are. James said they aren’t but they need each other. James told Ross that their only chance to win is against each other. James said being in the Final 3 with Mark and Ross would be ideal. Ross said he isn’t going to say anything. James asked Ross if he trusts Marissa most out of the girls. Ross said he trusts Brandi and Marissa equally. James mentioned needing a Final 4 down the road. Ross said Brandi has a really good story as a single mom, whereas Marissa probably doesn’t want to win. However, Ross said lots of people don’t like Brandi, potentially making her more beatable.
5:00-6:00 PM: Marissa told Ross that Brandi handed him a free ticket to make a deal with James. Marissa said she is crazy, and she wants that. Ross said he knows. Marissa said she has no problem with Ross winning as long as he lets her know where she stands. Ross said he has never lied to her.
6:00-7:00 PM: Ari told Marissa and Ross she thinks that if they nominate Omarosa and Mark, they should use the veto on Omarosa instead of Mark if they get the chance. They would then backdoor James. Ross said he doesn’t want to break a word with James but it’s the right thing to do. Ross said Omarosa would have to go if James wins the veto. Marissa and Ross then spoke with James about the ideal eviction order. Ross said he thinks Monday is the day to get rid of Metta. James said Metta is the bigger threat as long as they trust the girls. Marissa said she trusts the girls. James asked if Metta is a bigger threat than Omarosa. Ross said no. He brought up the accusation that Omarosa made after the week one flip. James asked if, along those lines, it will look bad if they nominate Metta and Omarosa next to each other. Ross said he worries more about the intent behind it. Marissa and Ross said they don’t want to be a pawn. James said he has been on the block twice now, so he thinks he has paid his dues.
9:00-10:00 PM: Shannon asked Omarosa what she thinks will happen if there is a double tomorrow. Omarosa said Metta will nominate Mark and James, Marissa will nominate her and Brandi, Ross will nominate her and Mark, and Brandi will nominate Mark and James. Omarosa asked if she is off. Shannon said she is still unsure about who has what deals. Shannon said her guess is that Ross and Marissa have two Final 4 deals. Shannon suggested that it will be too late if no one takes a shot at them. Shannon added that Ross, Marissa and Omarosa will likely be the best at questions. Shannon told Omarosa that people are counting on her being weak. Omarosa said she poked James yesterday in order to see who his people are. She said he ran straight to Ross and Marissa. Omarosa said Ari will win the game if she makes it to the Final 4. Shannon said part of her was thinking she would nominate Ari and Marissa if she had ended up staying and winning HoH. Shannon said you will see who is with who then. Omarosa said that’s a good one.
