Celebrity Big Brother Day 21 - Mark nominates Ari and Brandi

February 20, 2018

9:00-10:00 AM: Mark told James he let Ross know that Brandi is making his decision super easy. While Ross wants Omarosa to go, Mark said he and James have been on the receiving end of it from Brandi since Day 1. James said he is sure that Brandi is nice to some of her friends sometimes, but she has only proven that she is mean and a bully. Mark said he thinks that Brandi is more capable of winning competitions moving forward than Omarosa is. Mark said he doesn’t think he will nominate Brandi and Omarosa next to each other. He thinks Ari will make it better. James said Mark can let Ari know that she is not his target. Mark said he will do that. James mentioned that the decisions have always been Brandi’s, not Ari’s, as far as he can see. Mark agreed. They also agreed that splitting up Ari and Brandi is more beneficial than getting Omarosa out is. Mark said he might have to nominate one of their own as a pawn if Ari wins the veto, because Ross is going to vote for Omarosa to go if she goes up. James said Marissa and Ross wont want to be pawns. Mark said they don’t have a choice.

10:00-11:00 AM: James told Mark that when it gets down to three or four, whoever wins is picking who gets to the end. James said he knows people are going to say he is a bigger target, so they will try to get him out. Mark said he wont be doing that. Mark said he would ideally like to be at the end with James. Mark said he doesn’t know if he can beat James, but he cannot be Ross or Marissa. James said he doesn’t know if he can beat Ross either. Mark said James would be able to beat him, but he is not sure about whether or not he could beat Ross. James said they are both underdogs. Mark said he would be ecstatic if he got second place. Mark said James would deserve to win after what he has been through. James mentioned that Ari and Brandi are a group, always voting together. He said that even if Omarosa wins the next HoH, Ross may be her target. James suggested that they target Brandi. Mark agreed. He said he wants the pair of Ari and Brandi to be split up. James said it would be unfortunate for the house if they didn’t get rid of Brandi or Omarosa based on social game and drama. They discussed that a conversation can still be had about who is more dangerous between Brandi and Omarosa. Either way, James said Mark is nominating the right two people.

12:00-1:00 PM: In the kitchen, James told Ari he has been lucky that he hasn’t had to lie once in this game. He said he has sat back and not said anything in some situations, avoiding lying. James said he was lucky that Omarosa has lied. He said her game has holes because she lies so much and so inconsistently. James thinks it’s not working for her this season because she is the only one doing it. Had she only picked a couple of people lie to, James thinks it would have been harder to determine what was the truth and what was a lie. James told Ari that the people who don’t want to lie would typically be the ones that leave early. Afterwards, James and Mark spoke about nominations. James said Mark can tell Ari that it’s a game and the move is nothing personal, just like she said when she nominated him. As for Brandi, James said Mark can tell her that the move speaks for itself since she has been mean since Day 1. Mark mentioned that Brandi is a way bigger threat in competitions than Omarosa is. James agreed, though he thinks that Omarosa may be a bit quicker in true/false competitions. James said the viewers might be more excited to see Omarosa leave, but they are playing a game. James said his fans and Mark’s fans will be so happy to see Brandi go.

1:00-2:00 PM: Brandi told Ari she knows that she has to win the veto herself, because nobody else will use it on her. Marissa said she and Ross will fight as hard as they can for the veto if Ari and Marissa are nominated. She said they can then use it on one of them so that Omarosa will go up. Marissa said that is their only play. Marissa said any of the girls may end up going on the block. Ari, Brandi and Marissa agreed that it wont be Ross.

2:00-3:00 PM: In the bedroom, Ari asked Ross if he thinks that she will be nominated. Ross said maybe. Ari asked if it would be next to Brandi. Ross said it could be next to Brandi or Omarosa. He then said he could be on the block as well, which Ari disagreed with. In the other bedroom, Brandi said she hopes that people will get rid of Omarosa first if it’s a double. Marissa agreed. Brandi said they would still be four strong if that were to happen. Marissa suggested that they start spreading some fake news, such as it would great TV if Omarosa were to win the game. Brandi said they need the guys to be afraid of Omarosa. Marissa doesn’t expect Omarosa to go on the block. She also said that James and Mark are not going be on board with putting Omarosa up if they believe that they will all vote her out. Brandi said it will likely be her on the block next to Marissa, since that would be one from each pair. Omarosa asked why she wouldn’t go up. Brandi said because she is not aligned with anyone. Omarosa pointed out it would suck if they had six women and end up losing to the guys.

3:00-4:00 PM: In the HoH room, Mark told Ross he doesn’t think that anyone will be surprised by his nominations. He said he briefly talked to Ari and Brandi, and thought about telling them, but he didn’t. Ross said he played dumb when Ari asked him. Mark said he is totally committed to the four, wanting them to get to the Final 4 together. Ross said Mark is making the exact move that he would if he were in Mark’s position. Later, Ross told Marissa he feels awful because Brandi just asked him about their Final 2. Marissa said that's why she hasn’t made a Final 2 even though she would love to be at the end with Ross. Ross said the truth is that he would vote to keep Brandi over Ari, because Ari is too much of a threat. Marissa said she would vote to keep Ari. Marissa said her dream would be to make it to the end with Ari and Ross. They discussed that the only way to help Ari and Brandi right now is to get Omarosa on the block. Marissa said she doesn’t want Omarosa in the Final 4, because she doesn’t want Omarosa representing their show. She thinks America would question how they let Omarosa get to the end.

5:00-6:00 PM: The nomination ceremony took place. Mark nominated Ari and Brandi for eviction. Brandi asked Ari if she is okay. Ari said yes. They agreed that they knew this was coming. Ari said the only thing she is wondering is if Ross and Marissa knew. Brandi said she was thinking that since Ross has Mark’s ear. Ari said she wonders why Mark didn’t nominate Omarosa. Brandi said they have a deal. Brandi said they want to break up the four by sending them home, then Omarosa, to make a new four. Brandi said she has a weird feeling that Ross knew and was in on the decision.

6:00-7:00 PM: Marissa told Ross that James and Mark want Brandi out. Ross said that is not the right move. Marissa said she knows but they can’t fight it. Marissa prefers to see Omarosa go, but she said Brandi is the right move. Ross said it’s not if you want to win the game. Marissa pointed out that Brandi has said she misses Chuck and Keshia after they left, then she voted for Shannon, and she is wearing Metta’s clothes now that he left, suggesting that she is trying to get the jury on her side. Ross said he cannot vote to evict Brandi. Marissa said she will. Ross said Brandi should have three votes against her. Marissa wasn’t so sure. She thinks that Brandi and Omarosa made a Final 2 deal today. They discussed that James and Mark are serious about working with them, otherwise they would be on the block. When Ross continued to feel bad about Brandi, Marissa let him know that the girls were trying to get her to flip and vote him out yesterday. She added that Ari and Brandi said Ross is coming after her. She said she didn’t believe it. Ross said he no longer feels bad, and he is fine no matter who goes as long as it’s not either of them.

7:00-8:00 PM: Players were picked for the veto competition. Mark, Ari, Brandi, James, Marissa and Omarosa will be competing. Marissa told Ari it’s crunch time. She told Ari she overheard Mark and James saying that she is not the target. Ari said James told her the same. Ross joined them. Ari asked if he is voting her out. Ross said he doesn’t know. He said he probably has to go with the house, though he is hoping that the veto is used and Omarosa will be put up. After Marissa left, Ari told Ross that Brandi said he told her he didn’t want to be sitting next to a beauty queen. Ross denied it, saying if anything he said he thinks she can win the game. Ross said it hurts his feelings that Brandi would phrase it that way. Marissa let Ross know that she was told Omarosa is going up and going home if Ari or Brandi win the veto. However, she said she was told not to use the veto if she wins it, because it’s Brandi’s time to go. Marissa said she will be voting against Brandi, along with James and potentially Omarosa. Marissa said even if Ross and Omarosa vote Ari out, the tie breaking vote would send her home. Marissa advised Ross to do what he needs to do.

8:00-9:00 PM: Ross told James it was a good veto draw, and he believes that they will win the veto. James said if it’s one where they can help each other like OTEV, Marissa and Mark can give him their pieces. Ross talked about how he was thinking he would vote for Brandi to stay. He said he had second thoughts about it since he feels that he needs to go with the house and not risk it. James said Brandi would give Ross her jury vote against any of them anyway. He also pointed out that Brandi voting against the house is one of the reasons that she is going home. In the kitchen, Brandi told Ari that when Ross asked her for a Final 2 on Day 1, he made her promise that she would tell him if he was ever going up on the block. She said she told Ross he has to do the same for her, and she is 99.9% sure that Ross knew she was going up tonight, yet he didn’t tell her.

10:00-11:00 PM: The houseguests were all out in the yard. Brandi was drinking some wine. At one point, Brandi brought up to Ari that they are on the block. Mark said he feels bad cause he likes everyone but the numbers are so few at this point. Brandi said it’s fine. She then said she is going to do a Metta World Peace right now. She then said if she could have anyone on the block, it would be James and Omarosa. She told James she already knows that he is not voting for her. Brandi said she saved James twice. James said she could have saved him from a lot more socially. He said it’s probably best not to talk about it. Brandi said he is overthinking it. James said she has poked and poked so many times, and he has chosen not to say anything. James said if Brandi doesn’t see that, there is an issue. Brandi said she sees it to an extent. She told James that he is a good guy but he changes. She said she likes him half of the time, but he is hard to like when he is super cocky. James said she has not seen him super cocky. James told Brandi she doesn’t have to like him, but she also doesn’t have to be mean all of the time. Brandi said she likes James. James said the same, though he pointed out that there is a constant rudeness to him and to Mark. James said he is obviously excited to send her home because she has treated him more rude than anyone else in there. Brandi said she saved James twice but can’t wait to send him home too. James said it’s probably not going to happen. Brandi said there is the cocky person that she’s talking about. James then headed inside.

11:00-12:00 AM: Inside, James told Marissa and Omarosa that Brandi bullies and bullies, then she cannot take anything back. James said it drives him crazy when Brandi gets drunk and cannot hold her liquor. He said she needs to grow up. Marissa said it’s her medication. James said it’s not. James said Brandi is rude all day, every day. James was called to the diary room. Outside, Marissa said James is fine but he is a little upset. Brandi said she doesn’t care. Brandi said maybe they can all tell Mark how they feel about James when he gets cocky. Ross said they should not do that. The houseguests said they should go to bed. Once inside, Mark told Ross that Brandi is definitely going home now, because that was ridiculous. Mark said it’s tiresome to deal with night after night, and he is over James being roasted. Elsewhere, Ari told Marissa there is nothing they can do to save Brandi. Marissa agreed. Ari brought up that Brandi could win the veto. Marissa said James has told her that Omarosa will then go on the block and go home. When James got out of the diary room, Mark told him that he handled himself very well. James told Marissa and Mark he thinks he spoke the truth. He said he doesn’t like when people preface what they say with “I love her”. James said they don’t need to love Brandi. He explained that he doesn’t since he hasn’t seen a side of her that he loves. James said he will not engage and be rude, but he is also not going to be docile and just take it. James said it’s Brandi’s problem if she gets pissed off by that. James then spoke to Ari, Omarosa and Ross. He told them that just because he didn’t say anything for three weeks, it didn’t mean that he wasn’t feeling this same way. Out in the yard, Brandi told Marissa she heard what they were saying about her. When Marissa said she was just listening, Brandi said that’s not true. Brandi said she saw the whole thing. She accused Marissa of nodding her head in agreement. Brandi questioned if Marissa told James anything she has said about him and how cocky he gets, or if she just blamed it all on her. Marissa said she only agreed with James that he shouldn’t just sit back and take it. Marissa then went to tell the others that Brandi was yelling at her. Brandi headed to the diary room and then went to bed.

12:00-1:00 AM: Ari asked what happens if Omarosa saves Brandi in order to try to break up the group. Marissa said she wouldn’t do that. James said they just cannot let Omarosa win. James said that if he were Omarosa, he would think that he would have a better chance to get Ari on his side than he would to get Brandi on his side. Marissa argued that Omarosa would not want to team up with another target. James mentioned that he previously would have thought that breaking up Ari and Brandi is necessary even if Brandi wins the veto, he now thinks that Ari would go to Marissa and Ross over Brandi. They talked about potentially targeting Omarosa if Brandi wins the veto. Marissa suggested that they make Ari agree to nominate Brandi if they keep her in the game over Omarosa.
