Celebrity Big Brother Day 22 - Ari wins the Power of Veto
February 21, 2018
9:00-10:00 AM: Carrying over from last night, Brandi told Ari that James will see everything that everyone said about him once he watches the show back. She said James can blame everything on her, but everyone is saying things about him. Ari said Marissa accused Brandi of yelling at her for talking to James. Brandi said she didn’t yell at all. Brandi then brought up that the least Ross could have done is tell them that they were going on the block if they are his allies, considering he promised that he would. Ari said they are not. Ari suggested that Brandi tell Ross what happened yesterday, to give her side of the story and explain that she wasn’t yelling. Ari admitted that she believed Marissa at the time.
10:00-11:00 AM: In the bedroom, Marissa told Brandi she felt that she yelled at her. Brandi said she was upset but she was not yelling. Brandi said it’s not fair to say that. Brandi continually said that she didn’t yell, while Marissa continually said she felt that she was being yelled at. Brandi said it didn’t feel good to be the only one blamed for saying things about James when they all say them, then it was even worse once she walked in on James, Marissa and Mark talking. Marissa assured Brandi that she was not talking about her. She said she was in the bathroom brushing her teeth when the conversation started nearby. The two continued to go in circles about whether or not any yelling took place. They both eventually apologized to each other over the misunderstandings.
11:00-12:00 PM: In the bathroom, Brandi asked Ross if he remembers when they first made the Final 2 and swore that if the other person was going on the block, they would tell them if they knew. Ross said he doesn’t remember that. Brandi said she feels like Ross knew she was going up but didn’t tell. Ross apologized, saying he doesn’t remember saying that. Brandi said he definitely did. Brandi told Ross she feels a little sad. Ross apologized again and again. Brandi said it’s okay. She mentioned that Ross was the one who brought it up, not her. Brandi explained that it would have been nice to have a heads up about going on the block. Ross said he hears her. He apologized again before leaving the room. Ross went to Marissa to tell her that Brandi cornered him about not giving her a heads up that she was going up. Ross said what he didn’t bring up is that Brandi was lobbying to get him out when he was on the block. Marissa said they didn’t know who Mark was putting up. Ross said he did. Marissa wanted to know who told Brandi that she said Brandi was yelling at her. She thought they were going to pretend that nothing happened last night, like every other time.
6:00-7:00 PM: Feeds returned following the veto completion. Ari won the Power of Veto. In the gym, Mark told James that he is going to nominate Marissa. He explained that he is not going to give them a chance to vote Omarosa out. Mark added that this is where the Brandi train ends. James advised Mark to make it very clear that there is no chance Marissa will go home. Mark said he will her know that they have all been pawns, and now is her turn.
7:00-8:00 PM: James said Brandi will be so pissed when Marissa goes up. James and Mark figure that Brandi will expect Omarosa to go on the block. Mark let James know that he will stick to the plan to nominate Marissa, even though he will entertain conversations about nominating Omarosa. Mark wanted James to know that his mind will not change. Downstairs, Ari, Brandi and Marissa discussed that Marissa will be nominated. They know that James and Mark will not want to let them vote Omarosa out. They discussed that James is going to win the game, and that they messed up by sending Chuck home first. The girls went over possible deals that could be offered, such as that they would throw HoH, or all vote for Mark in the end, if Mark nominates Omarosa. They don’t expect that any of it will work. Later, Brandi told Ari she would have to throw Marissa under the bus in order to have a chance, which is something that she doesn’t want to do. In the storage room, Ross told Marissa he has not heard anything about her going up. Marissa said she thinks she will be going up. Ross said it would be a big surprise to him. Either way, he gave his word that he would not vote Marissa out. He also said James would not change his mind about getting rid of Brandi.
9:00-10:00 PM: Ross told Brandi he had every intention of being true to everything. He said it got tough once they were both nominated. Brandi said she doesn’t want him to go back on the Final 2 deal that he offered to her. Brandi asked if the deal is done. Ross said he felt it was a little done when Brandi was trying to get people to vote him out over her last week. Brandi denied it. Ross said she tried to get Marissa to turn on him. Brandi said they can bring Marissa up there to ask her, but Ross declined to do so. Ross said Brandi’s antics have affected him. Brandi said Ross knew her and how she was when he offered the deal. Ross said he is in a tough position since he will mess up his game by voting against the house. Ross said he doesn’t want to lose a friendship over the game. Brandi said he wont. She then said of course he is not going to get her vote in the end. Brandi told Ross that she is kicking herself because she kind of knew that he wasn’t going to stick to their deal. When the conversation wrapped up, Ross said he is a good guy but it’s tough to be good in there. He said he is sorry if he does anything that isn’t the man he should be.
11:00-12:00 AM: Ross told Marissa that Mark said he will be nominating Omarosa in Ari’s place. Marissa asked what they are going to do then. They discussed that getting Brandi out would be the better game move, but Ross said they would have a chance to get Omarosa out. Marissa said it will be so ugly if they don’t send Omarosa home if she is nominated next to Brandi. Ross said he thinks they need to pitch something else. Marissa asked if he means her. Ross said or him, but he wont survive the block. Marissa pointed out that Brandi was able to fill her head with enough stuff to have her turn on Ross for an hour, so she will get everyone to turn on her if they are on the block together for a full day.
12:00-1:00 AM: Ari asked Marissa who she would nominate if she were to win HoH. Marissa said probably James and Mark. She changed her mind when she remembered that Omarosa is still there. Brandi suggested nominating Omarosa next to Mark in hope of backdooring James. Ross said his target would be Omarosa. Brandi said she believes that splitting up James and Mark is a bigger concern than getting out Omarosa. Ari and Ross spoke alone. Ross told Ari that he made a Final 2 deal with Brandi on Day 1 However, he said her behaviour has affected him in the game. He told Ari that he has had to re-evalauate everything. Ross also brought up that Brandi tried to get him out last week. Ari said Brandi didn’t even ask for her vote. Ross said he knows she was telling Marissa she cannot trust him, as well as telling Ari that he said he didn’t want to sit next to the beauty queen at the end. Ari then revealed that Brandi told her to vote with the house to save Marissa if that’s who ends up on the block. Ari let Ross know that if he has something going on with James and Mark, he better make sure that he gets to the end. She said he can nominate her if he wants, but make it to the end so that it’s actually worth it. Ross said Ari is not his target. Ari said the same back to him. When Ari asked if Ross would keep Brandi over Omarosa, Ross said he would have to think about it. Ross then spoke to Marissa. He told her that he isn’t sure it’s best for them to vote Omarosa out if she goes up. Ross explained that it’s better for them to stick with the guys than to go back to the girls. He told Marissa that they would both be better off being next to a guy, or to each other, at the end. As for the replacement nominee, Marissa thinks it’s less risky for Ross to go up since the guys would keep him. Marissa said she is going to make a deal with Mark tomorrow, offering to vote Brandi out in exchange for being kept off of the block.
1:00-2:00 AM: James and Marissa discussed the options for the veto ceremony. James said he hasn’t heard anything yet. He said he knows that Mark wants to get Brandi out. James told Marissa it probably makes more sense to put one of their own up in order to accomplish that. James said Marissa should have zero concern if any of them go up. Marissa said she is willing to vote Brandi out if Omarosa goes on the block. James questioned why they would even risk putting Omarosa up when Ross wants her out so badly. He said it’s not worth it. Elsewhere, Brandi told Ari that she did not mess up Ross’ game at all. Brandi thinks that Ross making deals with every person in the house is what hurt his game. Brandi said Mark would be smart to backdoor Ross tomorrow. Brandi said you shouldn’t make deals that you cannot keep. Brandi told Ari that Ross is going to have a lot of jurors pissed at him for breaking deals that he made with them. Brandi eventually said she has a horrible idea. Shen then threw it out there that they could offer Mark the votes needed to backdoor Ross. Ari said Omarosa would vote Ross out. Ari said Mark and Ross are very close, so she doesn’t think that it would be a good idea. Brandi said it’s all she has got. They discussed that James and Mark are going to have to get Ross out at some point if they want to go to the Final 2 together. Omarosa joined Ari and Brandi. They discussed the jury votes. They all agreed that Ross would beat James and Mark at the end. Omarosa then mentioned that she has no interest in sitting next to Marissa at the end. She believes that if Marissa is nominated, it’s because the guys want the vote to flip against her. Omarosa said she tried to reason with them to make them understand that Brandi staying would mean only one extra day with her, so it’s worth it when it’s the better game move. Brandi and Omarosa agreed that the two of them would be the easiest to beat int he end. Omarosa said she is on board with voting Marissa out as long as Brandi finds a third vote.
