Celebrity Big Brother Day 23 - Ari uses the PoV on herself; Marissa is nominated

February 22, 2018

11:00-12:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, James asked Mark if he has spoked to Omarosa at all. Mark said he briefly let her know that he is planning on nominating Marissa. Ross came upstairs. He said he agrees that it is best to nominate Marissa since it would be too tempting for people to vote Omarosa out if they are on the block. Ross said it makes it easier for him to vote Brandi out if Marissa is on the block next to her. The guys discussed that it’s best to have their group of four on the same page, so that no one has to have doubts with split votes. Mark said it also will take some heat off of the foursome if they are nominating one of their own. Ross and Mark said they don’t think that anyone is on to their group.

2:00-3:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. Ari used the Power of Veto on herself. Mark nominated Marissa as the replacement nominee. While the houseguests were sitting around in the kitchen, Brandi said they should do something fun. She then said they could all sit in the living room to tell everyone why they should stay. James said that will happen tomorrow. Brandi said tomorrow is too late. A few minutes later, Marissa went to the bedroom to fill Ross in on what Brandi had said. Marissa said she is stressed out. Ross said Brandi is going to blow this up. Marissa agreed. Marissa talked about Brandi and James being in the storage room forever. Marissa said there is nothing she can do at this point. While in the storage room, Brandi and James did not talk any game. Ross advised Marissa not to engage if Brandi starts something.

3:00-4:00 PM: Omarosa told Brandi it makes no sense to send her home. Ari added that the guys are not being smart. Omarosa mentioned that their Final 4 worked. Brandi argued that Ross and Marissa also had a Final 4 with her and Ari. Omarosa said Ross got mad when she called him out for having deals with half the house when he actually had them with more than half. Brandi said James and Ross have to go. Omarosa said James will win the game if he makes it to the Final 4. As for Ross, Omarosa said he has won a couple of competitions but he didn’t make the big move when he had the chance. She said he would win the game hands down had he nominated James and Shannon. Omarosa said she would nominate James and Ross because it’s the only chance she has to make a big move to justify why she should win the game. If one of them comes down, Omarosa said she would put Marissa on the block. In the bedroom, Marissa wondered if Brandi is trying to convince people to vote her out. Ross said it’s not going to happen. Marissa worried that they may believe what Brandi says if Ari backs it up. Ross suggested that they go ensure that Brandi does not get any alone time with people. Marissa said it’s too late. Back in the kitchen, Omarosa said they need one more vote to keep Brandi. She advised Brandi to force Ross to remember that he gave his word to her, and make him realize that the world is watching him lie. Brandi wants Ari to join her when she talks to Ross, so he knows that she is on board with the plan. They discussed that the only chance to get Ross alone is when Marissa gets called to the diary room. Omarosa wondered if Ross cares that he is handing Marissa $250,000 by keeping her there.

5:00-6:00 PM: Brandi called the houseguests to the living room. Brandi acted as though she had an announcement from Big Brother. She had a laminated paper with her. Omarosa and Ross were woken up from naps. Once they all got to the living room, they found out that there was no announcement from Big Brother. Brandi had the instructions for her hair extensions in her hand. Afterwards, Marissa said she will definitely be staying now. Omarosa encouraged Brandi to fight to stay. She said she has to guilt Ross. Elsewhere, Ross told Marissa their only way to win is by getting James out. Ross said he doesn’t feel guilty about it since he guarantees that James is having the same conversations about them. In the gym, James asked Omarosa who she would be putting up if she wins HoH. Omarosa mentioned that Ari and Ross have each won an HoH and a PoV. It was discussed that Ari is well liked as well. James said she will win just because it’s a good look, but nobody floats to winning. Omarosa said Ari didn’t float. She pointed out that Ari legitimately won her HoH and PoV. James said he avoided winning things. Omarosa suggested that James mention that in his speech if he makes it to the end. As for Ross, James said he might have pissed too many people off by flipping. Omarosa said there will be six girls voting if there are two guys at the end, and Ross endeared himself to those six women. James thinks Ross has lost some of those votes along the way.

6:00-7:00 PM: Brandi asked Ross if he knows what he is going to do yet. Ross said he does. He started by apologizing for not letting Brandi know that she was going up on the block. Ross then said he intended to keep their deal but things change fast in the house. Ross brought up that Brandi tried to get him out when they were nominated together. Brandi insisted that she did not ask anyone for their vote. She said she told Marissa that Ross said he wont win over her in the end, but that’s it. Ross said he thought their deal was done at that point. Brandi reminded Ross that he asked her if their Final 2 is still on the other day, and he said yes. Brandi also let Ross know that she doesn’t like that he says she hurt his game. Brandi told Ross that being aligned with almost everyone in the house is what hurt his game. Ross said he is in an impossible position right now. He said Marissa is the one person who has been most loyal to him. Brandi said she knew Ross before the show, and he offered her a Final 2 and pinky swore. Ross said others were more loyal to him. Brandi replied by saying that she was completely loyal this whole time. Ross brought up that Brandi has pissed people off, particularly those in charge. Brandi said they don’t have to be. She said Omarosa swore that she would vote to keep her, and Ari will do the same if Ross is on board. Ross said everything is so different now compared to 22 days ago. Ross told Brandi that he will be out if he keeps her, since he had to make promises. Brandi said Ross’ first promise was to her. Brandi said she hasn’t broken any promises to Ross, to which he replied that she is the better person. Ross said that Marissa was there for him in crunch time. Brandi asked how she was supposed to be there for him when they were on the block together. She stuck to her story that she was loyal to him the entire time. Brandi once again told Ross that what hurt his game is making too many deals and spreading himself too thin. Brandi said Ross now cannot keep all of those deals. He said he has a decision to make. At that point, Brandi said she is done, it was great working with Ross, and remind her to never do that again. She then left the room. Ross then spoke to Ari, who was in the room the whole time, about his decision. He blamed Brandi’s behaviour for forcing him to end their Final 2 deal. Ari said she doesn’t want Ross to look bad. He said you make deals and try to keep them. Ari said this is why she didn’t make any deals. Ari told Ross to do what is best for him, but now the guys have all of the control. Ross said Brandi got people to hate her and now she is blaming him because he can’t save her. He said he wishes that he hadn’t made the deal with Brandi at this point. Ari mentioned that keeping Brandi is the smarter game move. While Ross agreed, he said he wants to be loyal to someone who was loyal to him. In the other room, Brandi spoke to Marissa. Brandi said she feels dismissed and used, given that she was loyal to the four all along. Marissa said she is sorry. Brandi said she obviously loves Marissa and would like to be friends, but she is disappointed with how her game went since she was true to the two and the four. Brandi said Ross told her that Marissa has his vote, so good luck.

7:00-8:00 PM: Brandi told Ari that it all comes down to the fact that Marissa can do more for Ross outside of the house than she can. She said Marissa has been offering up her husband to write a script for Ross. Brandi said it’s kind of gross. Ari said she was surprised that Ross wouldn’t answer anything when Brandi was questioning him. She said he continually said I’m sorry. They discussed that there is nothing they can do at this point. Brandi said she hopes that Ari wins tomorrow. Brandi told Ari she has to stick with Omarosa. Ari said Omarosa has always been kind to her and been honest with her. Omarosa joined them. Brandi again said they have to stick together. Omarosa agreed.

10:00-11:00 PM: Brandi and Mark discussed the end game scenarios. Brandi said James is the best physical player, while Ross is the best strategic player. Mark wondered who the stronger player is. He figures it is James since he is so much better physically than Ross is. Brandi said James is great, and once he is gone, the competitors will be more so Mark’s age. Mark argued that the winner is crowned based on a popularity contest, not on the number of competitions you win. Brandi said Omarosa is the one you want to be sitting next to at the end, seeing as people are not going to want to vote for her. Mark said he agrees. He mentioned that he doesn’t think he can win next to Ross, Marissa, or James. They both agreed that Ari would have a lot of votes as well. Brandi said she thinks Mark would win over James since James has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, though she would not count on that.

11:00-12:00 AM: Ross apologized to Brandi for failing to keep his promise to her. Ross asked Brandi for a personal favour, adding that he doesn’t deserve it. He asked that Brandi not be too mean to him. Ross explained that his mother is watching. Brandi assured Ross that she has not been mean to him, and that she actually has been saying that he is going to win. Brandi said she is not there to ruin Ross’ life, James’ life, or anyone’s life. As for the game, Brandi told Ross that James has to go before Omarosa. She said that will even the playing field. Afterwards, Ross told Marissa about his talk with Brandi. He is worried that she will be upset when she finds out on Twitter tomorrow that he had hidden the corkscrew so that she couldn’t get into the wine earlier tonight. He eventually got it for her, but Brandi doesn’t know that Ross had hidden it. In the bedroom, Ari, Brandi and Omarosa discussed jury votes. Omarosa said she had a chat with James about it, and James could not tell her which five votes he would have over Ross. Omarosa said she told James that he will have to send some of his friends to jury if he hopes to have the votes. As for Ari, they discussed that she should have the votes over James, Marissa, Mark, and Omarosa. Omarosa told Brandi that she will have to work the jury once she gets out of the house. Omarosa said Brandi needs to all Metta to lock him in. She also talked about calling Shannon.
