Celebrity Big Brother Day 25 - Ross wins the Power of Veto, doesn't use it
February 24, 2018
9:00-10:00 AM: Ari let Omarosa know that Ross asked her about who she would take to the Final 2 last night. Omarosa told Ari not to take Ross. She said to take Mark since you have to think about the jury. Ari said she told Ross she would take him, though she didn’t ask him if he would take her. Omarosa said Ari will lose the game if she takes Ross. She pointed out that Ross has won two HoHs and two PoVs. Omarosa told Ari she has got to win. She added that Ari is not meant to be the runner-up. Omarosa stressed that Ross’ word means nothing to him. Omarosa said she will not be there to tell Ari what to do, so think about it. She again said to take Mark over Ross. Ari said she knows that Ross is not going to take her to the end. Omarosa said she thinks Ross will lose against Marissa.
10:00-11:00 AM: The nomination ceremony took place. Ross nominated Ari and Omarosa for eviction.
12:00-1:00 PM: Marissa and Ross discussed that Omarosa winning the Power of Veto is the only thing that can mess up their plan. They agreed that Omarosa will take Mark if she wins the final HoH. Ross said Omarosa wants women in the jury. Ross said he doesn’t want to send Ari home until the Final 4. Marissa agreed. Marissa told Ross he would lose to Ari in the Final 2. Marissa said Ross would beat her, Mark and probably Omarosa, but he would lose the popular vote if he brings Omarosa. Ross said he is not going to bring Omarosa. Marissa advised Ross to bring her or Mark. She said she is not even going to campaign or worry about it until they get to that point.
2:00-3:00 PM: In the storage room, Omarosa told Mark she likes how his game played out. Omarosa said people always put you in extreme stereotypes. Mark said he didn’t come off as threatening since he was the oldest guy in the house. Omarosa said Mark has to clear something up for him, because someone said he was content with second place. Mark said that doesn’t make any sense. Mark said if you are playing for second, you are playing for first since you would be at the end anyway. Omarosa said she heard it three times, and thought Mark doesn’t seem like the type to do that. Mark said his world will not end if he finishes in second, but he would absolutely like to win if he is there at the end. Mark said that to say that, it would have to mean that he had a Final 2 deal. Mark clarified that he never had one with James. Omarosa said she believes him since he has been the one person that has been straight up. They discussed that Mark kept his word to Omarosa. Mark said she deserves to be there. Mark mentioned he doesn’t think that anyone thought she was this strong. Omarosa brought up that her doctor wasn’t going to let her return to the house, so she had to sign something saying that she was taking her health into her own hands. She said her oxygen levels had dropped to 78, 80, 82, and the doctor said she was not leaving unless she got up to 95. An hour before she was supposed to go, Omarosa said she was at 92. She said the doctor told her that he, her husband, and the show’s physician agreed that she would not return to the show. Omarosa said she then requested that they give her three more hours to recover. She said she slept and then woke up with an oxygen level of 94.7. Mark said it’s crazy that she was that close to leaving and is now in the finale. The houseguests were then gathered in the living room to choose the order in which they will compete in the veto competition. The order is Ross, Ari, Omarosa, Marissa and Mark. Feeds then went down at 2:16.
7:00-8:00 PM: Feeds returned following the veto competition. Ross won the Power of Veto. Ross told Mark that the nominations will stay the same. Ross said Omarosa is trying to get them to think that tomorrow’s competition will be a physical one, because she wants them to get rid of Ari. Mark said the problem is that none of them can beat Ari at the end. Ross explained that Omarosa is more likely to win a question and answer competition than Ari is. Mark said Ross is taking two people that he cannot beat if he keeps Ari, as opposed to just one if he keeps Omarosa. Ross said they have to win either way because neither of them can sit next to a girl at the end. Ross reiterated that he will take Mark to the Final 2. Mark said there is no doubt about it that he will be taking Ross as well. They gave each other their word. As for who to evict, Ross said they can still discuss it. Mark said he thinks Ross is right about Omarosa, and he is willing to go along with what Ross wants. Up in the HoH room, Ross said he wants to ask Ari about something. He told her that Omarosa said she mentioned she cannot take Ross to the end since she promised Brandi that. Ari said they can go confront Omarosa right now, because it is not true. Ross said they don’t need to. He let Ari know that he believes her. Ross assured Ari that the plan will move forward, and Omarosa will be evicted. Ari told Ross that Omarosa asked her who she would take to the end, so she revealed that she had promised Ross. Ari said Omarosa told her she has to take Mark if she wants to win. Ari said she will tell the jury that Ross has two HoHs and three PoVs if she is sitting next to him. Ari told Ross that nobody will beat him. Ari mentioned that she even told the diary room that she had promised to take Ross.
8:00-9:00 PM: Ari and Marissa discussed what Omarosa was saying. Marissa said they did what they needed to do, as all they needed was for one of the four of them to win the veto so that they could send Omarosa out. Marissa said she is fine with losing to Ari, Mark, or Ross. Ari said it’s fair for Ross to win since he has two HoH wins and three PoV wins. The veto ceremony took place. Ross decided not to use the Power of Veto. Ari and Omarosa remain nominated. One of them will be evicted prior to the final HoH competition.
