Big Brother: Over The Top Day 1 - The houseguests move in
September 28, 2016
7:00-9:00 PM: The houseguests moved into the Big Brother Over The Top house one by one. Scott was the first to enter, followed by Morgan, Shane, Neeley, Shelby, Cornbread, Kryssie, Whitney, Justin, Alex, Monte and Danielle. Alex and Morgan, the two sisters, played it off as though they did not know each other. After the 12 newbies entered, Jason then walked through the doors as the final houseguest. He beat out Jozea for the last spot based on the fan vote.
9:00-10:00 PM: Once all of the houseguests had entered the house, Big Brother let them know that there was champagne awaiting them in the storage room. The houseguests got the champagne and sat in the living room to do introductions. Jason mentioned that he was on Big Brother 17 and he got voted out pretty early. Shelby asked if he is the twist. Jason said that he is really sorry if so, because he is a really bad twist. Not long after, Julie appeared on the screen in the living room. She asked the houseguests to gather in the living room. Julie informed the houseguests that there is no jury. She explained that once you are out of the game, you are out of the game for good. Julie added that America will be choosing the winner on finale night. Finally, Julie let the houseguests know that the first HoH competition will take place tomorrow.
10:00-11:00 PM: Danielle and Jason spoke alone in the parlour room. They discussed that they did not get to see who won Big Brother 18 due to being in sequester at the time of the finale. They discussed the season including the jury house fight between Da’Vonne and Paulie. They both agreed that you do not bring someone’s child into an argument like Paulie did. Jason called Paulie the most arrogant person that he has ever seen. Jason told Danielle that he met Cody and he was a really nice guy, so he doesn’t know where Paulie came from. Danielle said her mom worried that someone would bring Danielle’s daughter into an argument like Paulie did with Da’Vonne’s daughter. Danielle said she loved Da’Vonne because she is a mother. Danielle mentioned that people would ask her if she is sad that the show would not be on TV. Danielle said she is there to play the game, not to get TV exposure.
11:00-12:00 AM: Big Brother delivered the houseguests’ luggage to the storage room. Alex, Morgan and Shelby went through their clothes. At one point, Alex asked Morgan “is this yours too, Mo?”. She quickly corrected herself and called her sister by her full name “Morgan”. However, Shelby heard and mentioned how the two girls already have cute nicknames for each other. She asked if she can have one too. One of the sisters said yes and told her that she can be “Shelb”.
1:00-2:00 AM: While looking at the memory wall photos, Jason asked himself if Alex and Morgan are the same person. He pointed out that they look like it in the photos. Alex and Whitney talked about how they are anxious to get the HoH competition over with. They think that people will start to show their true colours once an HoH is crowned. Alex mentioned that there are definitely some big personalities in the house. Whitney said that worries her so much because America will love big personalities like Jason. Whitney told Alex that she would never want to go to the end with Jason, because America already loves him. Whitney also has concerns about going to the end with Cornbread. She thinks that America will love him and it will make him tough to beat given that America will choose the winner. Whitney expects that some people will throw the HoH competition tomorrow. She said the girls have something to prove. Alex and Whitney agreed that it is best to try to win.
4:00-5:00 AM: Cornbread, Monte, Shane and Scott chatted in the bedroom. They talked about how the people you sleep in the same room with are usually the ones you become closest with. They then discussed the challenge of choosing two people to nominate in the event that they win HoH tomorrow. Shane asked if they want to try to eliminate a girl because they are overpowering them right now. Nobody talked about it much further, but Monte said that if anyone wants to add anyone to their group, they have to consult with the others within the group. Monte said they are not officially starting anything but they are in the process of getting it ready. Shane said he likes Justin but he seems like he would be a wildcard. Monte agreed and said Justin would do whatever it takes and he would backstab. Cornbread worried that Justin would talk too much. Scott said he would probably be loyal but he would say something without realizing it. Cornbread said his plan from the beginning was to be in a group of four solid. He suggested that they separate themselves when they are out and about in the house. Shane said he likes Jason but he is a tough person to read cause he likes to hang out with the girls. Shane again asked if they should go after a girl if they win HoH. Monte said all three of the people in the room will be safe if he wins. Cornbread said they could nominate whoever does the worst in the competition. Scott said that would be the easiest way to do it. There were talks about Danielle not being trustworthy and about Danielle and Justin potentially becoming a showmance.
7:00-8:00 AM: Jason was the last one awake. He had been up chatting with Danielle and Justin. Jason spoke to the live feeders and said he thought he was going to like Kryssie and Neeley but he isn’t sure and the jury is out on them. Jason said he has no idea who he would target if he wins HoH later today, so it may be best that he doesn’t win. He later said he may have to win it. Jason thinks that Cornbread is there to play. Jason pointed out that Scott and Steve seem like the same person, though he thinks he can trust Scott more than Steve. Jason said Monte seems like a nice guy. If he was America, Jason said he would probably want Justin to win. Jason believes that Kryssie could be fake and petty. Jason figures that a number of houseguests would get sympathy if he were to throw them up on the block. He thought that he may not be able to win today even though he is not a thrower. Jason gave a shout out to the fans who voted him into the house. He said that he will not be telling the others about being voted into the house, because America is voting for the winner.
