Big Brother: Over The Top Day 12 - Alex nominates Danielle and Shane
October 9, 2016
10:00-11:00 AM: Monte and Scott discussed that they are clearly not on Shane and Danielle’s side of the house. Scott said he feels a lot better today because now he knows. Monte said Morgan, Scott and himself could be a good trio. Scott agreed. Monte then said he doesn’t think that Shane would just screw them over. Monte mentioned that Danielle was able to turn the entire house on Cornbread, then she tried to turn him into something that he is not yesterday. Monte told Scott that he hates Danielle and Kryssie more than he hates Justin. Jason made his way outside. Monte said Jason and Whitney are probably the favourites to win the game at this point. Monte discussed that Shane screwed himself by getting into a showmance so early on, though he said Danielle and Shane seem happy together. Monte admitted that he didn’t see that showmance coming, especially when Shane called Danielle “Diane” for the first three days. Elsewhere, Morgan told Whitney that Danielle plays the race card a lot. Morgan said Shane is more likely to come back to them if Danielle leave this week. Whitney agreed and added that Monte and Shane may be able to reconnect if that happens.
11:00-12:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Shelby told Alex that everyone is so sure Scott will be nominated by America. Shelby didn’t understand why. Alex said she is glad that the other side is isolating Scott since it makes it obvious that Scott should come back to them. Shelby said Danielle is the one that caused the whole incident yesterday yet she blamed it on Scott. Scott then joined the girls. Shelby pointed out to him that the people on their side of the house are the only ones talking to him. Scott agreed and said the others are not even looking him in the eye. Shelby said she doesn’t think that Scott will be America’s nominee. Scott said he is screwed if he is on the block after the veto competition. He figures that his only hope will be cutting a really good deal with Jason, since Jason is the only one that he still has any sort of a relationship with at this point. Scott said Danielle completely turned Shane against him. Scott told Alex and Shelby that he trusts the two of them more intimately than he trusts anyone else in the house.
3:00-4:00 PM: Shelby told Morgan that she would love for Danielle to go home. Morgan said Danielle is the one that starts all the drama. Shelby said the biggest danger is that one of them goes up as the third nominee and then the house votes against them. Morgan tried to determine how the votes would fall if she got nominated alongside Shane and Danielle. Morgan listed off Shelby, Whitney, Monte and Scott as her votes. On the other side, Shelby said Jason, Justin, Kryssie and Neeley would vote the other way. Morgan said they would need Neeley to flip since America would be the swing vote without her. Shelby said she doesn’t think that Neleey would flip on Danielle. They agreed that they have to wait and see who America nominates. Shelby said Alex will be in a weird spot if America nominates Justin. Morgan said that’s true since she would almost be forced to nominate Scott if Danielle or Shane were to win the veto in that scenario. Morgan said Scott would for sure go then. Shelby mentioned that Monte keeps campaigning to get Kryssie out even though Alex already saved her from nomination. Morgan said she is someone to save for another week. Shelby said America’s nominee has a huge chance of going home this week. Shelby thinks that Whitney is their best shot at getting someone on the other side to flip. She thought that Justin may be down to split up the showmance.
4:00-5:00 PM: In the kitchen, Alex said she is still pretty solid on the plan for nominations. Shelby said she thought Danielle and Shane would have talked to her. Alex said they are not even making eye contact with her. Whitney said Danielle made a comment earlier about being pretty sure that she is going on the block today. Alex said at least Danielle is somewhat making conversation, whereas Shane wont even be in the same room as her. Whitney said Shane is going to Monte and throwing out deals, but that is not how it works. Shelby said according to that side of the house, you are a snake if you talk to the HoH.
5:00-6:00 PM: Alex and Monte chatted up in the HoH room. Alex said Shane and Danielle are not making eye contact with her, so they know they are going up. Monte said he feels bad for Scott because even though he did some things wrong, it was not deserving of how he is being treated. Monte said it was Danielle’s fault yesterday. Alex agreed. Monte said Kryssie knew it was Danielle’s fault yet she still blamed Scott. Monte said he hates Kryssie and she needs to go. Monte told Alex that he would probably nominate Justin and Kryssie next week if Danielle leaves this week. Alex told Monte she has a weird feeling that he or Morgan will be America’s nominee. Monte feels uneasy about being one of the first have-nots. However, Monte said he is entertaining and he thinks that people would want to keep him around for that reason. Monte asked if Danielle is the target. Alex confirmed that she is. Alex explained that Danielle is so smart. Monte said she manipulated the entire house and she has one of the head dogs under her control. Alex pointed out that Danielle is tight with Jason, Neeley, Shane, Kryssie and Justin. In the bathroom, Justin told Alex that he doesn’t trust Danielle or Shane. Alex said she was going to talk to him about that because she is probably going to have to nominate them. Justin again said he doesn’t trust them, adding that they would backstab anybody. Alex let Justin know that people are throwing his name out there but she wants to protect him because she likes him. Alex asked if Justin would be willing to vote Danielle or Shane out. Justin said yeah. Alex told Justin that she will consult him about which of the two he wants to go.
7:00-8:00 PM: The second safety ceremony of the week took place. Alex saved Shelby, Justin, Monte and Scott. Alex nominated Danielle and Shane for eviction. Danielle and Shane immediately walked away before Alex had a chance to explain her nominations. Shane told Danielle that if they win, he is going kick Alex’s ass and take her out. Alex mentioned it was nothing personal. Shane said it will be personal next week. In the bedroom, Shane told Danielle that they are big threats and they knew it was going to come. Shane said it was the stupidest move that Alex could have made because one of them is guaranteed to survive, then they will go after Alex. Shane hopes that America will nominate Monte or Scott because they would have the votes to get either of them out. Shane again said that Alex will not survive next week if they make it out of this week. Danielle thinks that Alex nominated them because it’s what Shelby wanted her to do. Both agreed that they were not going to listen to Alex’s speech. Danielle and Shane then headed outside. Danielle said Alex can kiss her ass. She also called Alex a coward. In the kitchen, Monte said Danielle has an attitude out there. Kryssie said no one likes to be put up. Monte said she can get over it since she pointed him out for no reason yesterday. Justin spoke up and said he forgave Monte. Monte said the two of them are cool. Back outside, Danielle and Shane said they have to pray that America will nominate either Monte or Scott. Shane said they are taking them all out if they survive this week, starting with Alex. Shane said he will backdoor Alex. Should Danielle or Shane win the veto, Alex told Shelby she would love to nominate Kryssie but she thinks that Kryssie would see that as a betrayal and then come after her next week. Alex mentioned Scott as a possible nominee, though she thinks that he would go home. Ideally, Alex said she would like to use Neeley as a pawn but she thinks that Neeley would be pissed off. She also mentioned that she wishes she could talk Whitney into going up as a pawn. Alex told Shelby that she doesn’t want to nominate Justin because they need him to vote with them.
9:00-10:00 PM: Out on the hammock, Scott told Alex and Shelby that there is a reason he feels the most betrayed by Shane. Scott said it’s BS when people come up to you and make deals early on and then act like you are the one going around doing things when it’s them. Scott assured Alex and Shelby that they are the two people that he will never turn on. Scott told the girls that he will bounce ideas off of them before doing anything, because they are a lot smarter than he is. Scott told them not to trust Shane. Alex said she doesn’t trust Shane or Danielle. Scott said Shane is playing the game harder than anyone. Alex said she thinks she pissed Neeley off by nominating Shane and Danielle over Scott. Scott said half the house wants him out. Shelby told Scott that the others started the drama yesterday in hope of getting him out instead of the showmance. Shelby said she is so annoyed with the whole racial thing. Shelby said it was never a factor on their end, so she doesn’t want people making it into one. Scott said people are willing to potentially ruin people’s lives outside of the house. Alex said she has a really big issue with that. She admitted that the racial stuff coming up is making her feel very uncomfortable. In the kitchen, Danielle said that she took being put on the block personally because none of those girls have ever taken the time speak to her. Danielle said she went to school with girls like that who felt threatened by her and bullied her. Danielle said they better pray to God that she doesn’t come down, cause “night time Danielle” is going to come out. Danielle said she will talk so much crap to Alex and also to Monte if she wins the veto.
10:00-11:00 PM: Shelby told Morgan she thinks that Danielle and Shane expected them to freak out yesterday and put Scott on the block after what happened. Shelby said they then threw a temper tantrum when Justin and Scott didn’t end up on the block. Monte joined them. Morgan talked about how Neeley got so upset because someone, likely Danielle, told her that Monte was making racist comments. Monte said the comment he made about Justin is not racist. He said it was funny since Justin has been charged with robbery before. Monte said his character is on the line and he does not want America thinking that he is racist. Monte thinks that Danielle needs to be exposed for going around spreading stuff about him. Monte argued that it’s racist on Danielle’s end to do so. Outside, Kryssie said Monte is insufferable. She said he is hell bent on making sure that everyone doesn’t think he is a typical Southern bigot. Kryssie thinks that Monte does something bad every time he manages to dig himself out of a hole. Kryssie was upset because Shane told her that Monte said he doesn’t like her. Kryssie said she gave Monte no reason to dislike her. Kryssie assumed Monte doesn’t like her because he doesn’t get her. Justin said that’s why Monte doesn’t like him either. Kryssie said Monte needs to understand that America is watching and does not like when people hate others for no reason. Kryssie let Justin and Neeley know that she will be going after Monte.
