Big Brother: Over The Top Day 17 - Scott receives the care package

October 14, 2016

11:00-12:00 PM: Kryssie told Justin she still thinks she is going home. Justin said he doesn't think so. Justin told Kryssie the only way she will go up is if America nominates her. Kryssie said she expects Scott to try to finish what Alex started last week. Justin explained that Alex only put her up cause the veto was used. Kryssie didn’t believe that she was just a pawn since Alex didn’t talk to her about it beforehand. Justin said Shane and Danielle are going up for a fact. Kryssie said they will have the votes to evict America’s Nominee as long as they don’t win the veto. Justin let Kryssie know that she and Jason are the only ones he trusts. Kryssie said the same to him. Justin said he knows that Shane and Danielle would screw him over. Kryssie said they would do it all of them cause that’s what everyone is there for. Just said he felt like he was being attacked last night, then Danielle couldn’t take it when he said anything. Justin said they need him more than he needs them, which is why they are going to be nice to him for now. Justin let Kryssie know that he trusts Scott more than he trusts Danielle and Shane. Kryssie said that’s weird to hear because Scott seems like more of a chump than anyone in there. Justin said that Scott has kept it genuine with him since Day 1. Kryssie said Scott picked a fight with her for no reason. Justin suggested that it had a lot to do with Monte. Justin said he doesn’t trust Shane at all and he would like to vote him out the first chance he gets. Kryssie said it will happen to all of them eventually. Kryssie then spoke to Neeley, telling her that she told Shane she thinks Scott is a lapdog and therefore he will try to finish what Alex started last week. Kryssie said she told him it would then be the two of them and Danielle nominated in some order. However, Kryssie said she knows Neeley told Jason that they want to make a deal. Neeley explained that they want to make a deal that she would keep Alex and Scott next week if she wins HoH. Neeley said she needs to make sure that Jason, Kryssie and herself are kept safe if she takes that deal.

1:00-2:00 PM: The “Pick-A-Veto” care package was delivered. Scott received the care package. He will get to choose which type of veto the houseguests compete for in the veto competition this week. The first option is a Diamond Power of Veto. The winner of that veto has the ability to name the replacement nominee. The second option is a Double Veto. That means the first and second place finishers will each receive a Power of Veto. Finally, the third option is a Boomerang Veto. That will give the holder the ability to use the Power of Veto twice in the same ceremony. Scott will have to reveal his choice prior to the veto competition. Neeley commented on how it does not seem good for Scott at all, since the winner will have a lot of power no matter which option Scott chooses. Scott said he may end up having to nominate four people this week. Kryssie told her allies that she doesn’t think this is advantageous for Scott. She said America came through for them. Danielle hopes that Scott picks the Boomerang Veto. Outside, Morgan and Whitney agreed that the Boomerang Veto is a big no since it gives the holder the ability to save two people. They agreed that Scott’s best bet is choosing the Diamond Power of Veto. Upstairs, Scott told Justin that he is almost positive that he is going to choose the Diamond Power of Veto.

2:00-3:00 PM: Scott told Whitney that he is thinking of choosing the Double Veto. Scott explained that if any of them come in first or second place, they can take off the third nominee if one of their own is nominated. He said the probably with the Diamond Power of Veto is that someone else could nominate Alex. Scott said that cannot happen. Scott admitted that his first reaction was to choose the Diamond Power of Veto. Whitney said she completely supports Scott’s decision. Whitney asked if he is still thinking of nominating Danielle and Shane. Scott said his decision has completely changed. Scott said he could nominate two pawns, Kryssie and Neeley, and then he could nominate his real targets if the veto is used. Scott then spoke to Alex up in the HoH room, letting her know that he is leaning towards choosing the Double Veto and nominating Kryssie and Neeley next to each other. Scott said he would be devastated if he chose the Diamond Power of Veto and Alex went home during his HoH week. Scott said the goal is that at least one person from their group wins the veto so that they can save the third nominee if that person is from their side. He then hopes that someone else will use the veto so that he can nominate Shane as his target. Scott told Alex that he feels bad since he put an offer on the table for Neeley. Scott said that is luckily the only deal he made this week, though they did not solidify the deal yet. Scott said he will have to tell Neeley that the deal is off the table now, because he has to use two pawns. Shelby joined Alex and Scott. Scott filled her in on the plan. Shelby asked if Scott’s number one target is still Shane. Scott confirmed that it is.

3:00-4:00 PM: Scott let Justin know that they are still on the same page and the end result will be the same, but he will have to change his nominees. Scott said he will be putting up two different people now but it will not be Justin. Scott explained that he needs to nominate two people that he wants to come off of the block. Scott said he can then backdoor someone. Scott said the veto twist really changed things. Justin asked if Scott is thinking about choosing the Boomerang Veto. Scott said he is going with the Double Veto and he is hoping that both of them will be used. Scott reiterated that his end goal is the same. Justin asked what happens if he wins the veto. Scott said he would want Justin to use the veto. Justin said he does not want that responsibility. Justin let Jason know that Scott said everything just changed. He said Scott is planning on choosing the Double Veto. Jason said that doesn’t seem like the smartest choice. He thought it would be better for Scott to try to cut a deal with the person that wins the Diamond Power of Veto instead of having both of his nominees come down. Justin said Scott wants the power to choose the replacement nominees so he is going to nominate two people that he didn’t originally plan to nominate. Justin said Scott has some type of evil scheme going on. Jason said he is not cool with going on the block when Scott told him that he is good. Justin didn’t know what to think and said he is trying not to worry about it.

7:00-8:00 PM: Scott told Jason that Shane turned his back on Cornbread the first week and then turned his back on him and on Monte last week. Scott said Shane tried to get him to flip his vote because he thinks that he does deals the way Shane does deals. Jason said that’s not how he does deals either. Jason asked if Scott would rather have Shane go over Danielle. Scott said he wants that 100%. Jason asked if the girls want that as well. Scott thinks that they will do what he wants this week because they are grateful that he won HoH. Jason pointed out that there will only be three guys left, which is his only fear with taking a guy out. Scott said it would be better for the two of them and Justin in the long run, since it will give them a couple of easy weeks. Jason said he is down with it and he understands Scott’s logic behind selecting the Double Veto.

8:00-9:00 PM: Justin joined Jason and Scott. Scott told Jason and Justin that they will both be fine this week 100%. Scott said he just hopes that the veto picks go well. Jason said that’s what it is going to come down to. Jason asked Scott to keep them in the loop. He said it makes sense. Scott said he thinks the three of them are definitely on the same page. Justin assured Scott that he is not coming after him. Jason let Scott know that if Shelby is nominated by America, he cannot guarantee that he will not take a shot at her. Scott said that’s why he thinks it’s smart for him to double down on his odds to win the veto, since he can then take that nominee off of the block.

9:00-12:00 AM: The houseguests were given wine and beer. They spent a couple of hours together drinking and celebrating Whitney’s 22nd birthday which is today.

12:00-1:00 AM: Kryssie told Neeley that Scott is not going to put any of his friends up after tonight. She said it will be her, Danielle and Shane. Neeley said Danielle was getting on her nerves today. Kryssie said she is concerned about how petty Danielle was being in front of everyone. Neeley said that Danielle kept trying to make everything about her when it should have been Whitney’s night to shine on her birthday. Kryssie said they need Danielle and they need Shane. Neeley said they only need them for a few more weeks. Jason came outside and let the girls know that Scott is planning to pick the Double Veto, so he is going to use two pawns even though he is targeting Shane and Danielle. Jason said Kryssie and Neeley will be the the pawns. Jason explained that Shane is Scott’s main target because he is mad that Shane left an alliance that he made with Cornbread, Monte and Scott on night one. Danielle then joined them. She said she heard about the plan through Shane. Kryssie expects to be left on the block next to Shane. Danielle said Scott had better pray to God that one of them do not win the veto. She told the group that America’s nominee cannot come off of the block. Danielle said they can’t lose anyone from their side because she is not going to pick between their own people. Once Danielle headed inside, Jason told Kryssie and Neeley that they will have to lose Shane before they lose either of them. Justin was also there. He agreed that Shane and Danielle have to go before Jason, Kryssie, Neeley or himself. Neeley talked about the deal that Scott had previously approached her with. Neeley said there will be no deal if she is used as a pawn. Neeley said she will be nominating Alex and Scott if she is a nominee.

1:00-2:00 AM: Scott spoke to Neeley. He said he apologizes because he has to pull the deal he offered her off the table due to the care package. Scott said Neeley will probably be upset with the nominations he chooses but he is going to choose the Double Veto. Scott explained that he needs to nominate two pawns so that he can backdoor a strong competitor. Scott then revealed that Shane approached Cornbread, Monte and himself on night one with a four person alliance. Scott said Shane was the person he trusted the most in the house for a while, which is why he attached his vote to Shane’s when he evicted Cornbread. Scott told Neeley that last week it was very clear that Shane had turned his back on him and on Monte. Scott said Shane is there to break deals. Scott told Neeley that the plan for the week is a backdoor. Neeley said she appreciates Scott telling her everything.
