Big Brother: Over The Top Day 21 - Shane is the replacement nominee
October 18, 2016
1:00-2:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. By random draw, Alex was chosen to go first. Alex decided not to use the Power of Veto. Justin then used the Power of Veto on Kryssie. Scott nominated Shane as the replacement nominee. Danielle told Jason, Kryssie and Neeley that if the three of them are voting to evict Shane, the rest of the house votes to evict her and then America makes it a tie, Scott may have to choose and it wont be on anyone to decide. Jason said America would have to vote to evict Shane to tie it. Danielle then flipped it around and said if the other side votes to evict Shane and the three of them and America evict her, it would be a tie. Danielle figured that Scott may want to keep her over Shane because he would not want three of his nominees to remain in the house. Danielle said she knows it will be her or Shane leaving since people will break them up before going after Neeley. Neeley said she wishes she could feel so safe. In the bathroom, Shane told Scott he wants to see if he wants him or Danielle. Scott said it wont be Neeley. Scott told Shane that he doesn’t have a vote this week but he is assuming the four girls will all vote the same way. Shane let Scott know that he understands the move and respects it. Shane said he doesn’t know if he betrayed Scott or not but he hopes that Scott doesn’t feel that way. Scott said he doesn’t and he understands that Shane had to do what he had to do. Shane said he needs to talk to Alex to let bygones be bygones since it’s a game. Shane then spoke to Kryssie who asked if they should vote with the house or let Shane and Danielle decide which one wants to stay. Shane said he wants to be there. Kryssie said she would respect the decision that they as a group, including Danielle and Shane, make. Shane said he doesn’t think that they will have that conversation. Shane explained that he legitimately wants to be with Danielle after the show but he is there for the game. Kryssie told Shane that she thinks the whole other half of the house dislikes Danielle more than they dislike Shane, aside from the person who cannot vote this week. Shane said people could be lying to him but he feels like he is going to stay this week. Shane told Kryssie he doesn’t want to tell Danielle because he wants to try his best to make her happy and make it smooth. Kryssie said her only issue with Danielle as a player is that she is still too young and she doesn’t take disappointment well.
3:00-4:00 PM: Morgan told Shelby that she thinks Justin is going to get freaked out by the vote. Morgan said the girls need to be on the same page with what they say, telling people that they decided to flip at the last minute.
4:00-5:00 PM: Scott came out of the diary room with a message for the houseguests. He talked about how Halloween is only 13 days away. Scott said Big Brother is going over the top with a scary, sexy, spectacular party. To attend the party, you have to wear a costume that Big Brother provides you. Scott then drew costumes out of a plastic pumpkin. After each one was pulled, someone had to take that costume. The costumes are as follows:
Kryssie- Creepy doll.
Shelby- Day of the dead girl.
Morgan- Witch.
Justin- Zombie fireman.
Shane- Vampire.
Whitney- Devil.
Neeley- Zombie nurse.
Jason- Deadly doctor.
Alex- Mummy.
Scott- Werewolf.
Danielle- Vampiress.Out in the backyard, Jason told Scott that Danielle said if Scott’s side of the house is voting her out, their side should too. Jason also said Danielle told him that if Scott’s side is voting Shane out, they should vote her out and hope America ties it to leave it up to Scott. Jason said he told Danielle to talk to her man. Jason pointed out that Danielle is the more dangerous player of the two. Jason said Shane is easy to read. Alex let Shelby know that Scott had just told her that he is planning on telling Jason and Justin that they are voting out Shane. Shelby asked why. Alex said it makes sense from a long term perspective but it would have made things more interesting had they not told them. Alex said if Shane approaches her, she will tell him that she is going to do what Scott wants. Elsewhere in the backyard, Shelby mentioned to Scott that Danielle’s whole alliance tried to get them to vote her out, which is something they can use later on.
5:00-6:00 PM: In the storage room, Shelby let Morgan and Whitney know that Scott plans to tell Jason and Justin that they are voting Shane out. Shelby said they should be vague with regards to their vote, saying they are going to do what Scott wants. Morgan said it would be nice if Scott lets them know when he tells Jason and Justin the plan. Morgan told Shelby it makes sense for Scott to tell those two. Shelby said it bothers her that Scott had the opportunity to tell her that he planned to do that but he didn’t. Shelby said apparently Scott is only keeping Alex in the loop. Alex asked Justin about his talk with Scott. Justin said the alliance sounds good for the most part. Justin said Jason will probably talk to Alex about it more. Alex asked if Scott talked to Justin about the plan for tomorrow. Justin asked if they are sending Danielle home. Alex said she is going to do whatever Scott wants, but he is supposed to talk to them later tonight to fill them in. Justin brought up that he spoke to Jason and Scott last night and they pretty much know what’s up. They talked about keeping each other safe if they win HoH. Alex said she would like to stick together moving forward because she feels like those in the group can protect each other.
6:00-7:00 PM: Danielle told Kryssie that she doesn’t want to leave but she will not campaign against either of the other two nominees. Danielle said she is at peace with whatever happens. Kryssie said she is trying to think of how they can make this all Scott’s fault. Danielle mentioned that if the other side is voting Shane out, her side and America can vote her out and force Scott to break a tie. Up in the HoH room, Scott revealed to Justin that Shane is the target and he is going home tomorrow. Scott explained that he can’t trust Shane and he would regret it forever if he did not send Shane home on his HoH. Scott let Justin know that some of the girls want them to think that they are voting Danielle out, though he and Alex felt that Jason and Justin need to know the true plan. Scott said it would make for good TV if Jason and Justin were to vote Danielle out and force a tie. Scott added that it would be a good way to hide the fact that they are working together. Justin said it is what it is and he would like to get both Shane and Danielle out. He said Danielle said some terrible things and he wants her out of there. Justin mentioned that Danielle is manipulative. Scott agreed and said that both Shane and Danielle would be gunning after him and after Alex, but Shane is more likely to win a competition. Justin eventually said it is probably a good move for them since Scott will be able to fulfill what he wanted to get done this week and Danielle is not going to be a real threat. Justin said they cannot let Danielle win HoH if she is after Alex and Scott. Scott said they could get her to go after Shelby if she does win. Justin then filled Jason in on the plan to get Shane out. Jason said it’s strange. He said it’s a ploy to get Danielle away from them since it will look like her own side voted her out. Justin said Scott told him that the girls still want them to vote Danielle out and it was only Alex and Scott who wanted to fill them in on this. Jason said he needs to talk to Alex. He said they are in power this week and they can get what they want in terms of Shane leaving. They agreed not to let their Jamboree alliance in on the plan. The two then headed outside with Kryssie. Jason told her that word on the street is the girls are voting Danielle out. Justin added that Shane is going home though. Jason questioned how that makes any sense if they too are voting Danielle out. Jason said Danielle is leaving. Kryssie admitted she was thinking “what?” for a second when Justin made that comment.
7:00-8:00 PM: Jason told Danielle and Shane that he doesn’t know what Scott would end up doing in the event of a tie. Justin spoke to Kryssie briefly and said the other side probably wants them to think that they are voting Danielle out but then they will vote Shane out. Kryssie said they would not have the numbers. Justin told her that it would be a 4-4 tie. Kryssie said there is no way to tie it due to America’s vote. Danielle then spoke to Jason, Justin and Kryssie about their votes. She told them to vote for her either way, since she doesn’t want them sticking their necks out if she is leaving and she would prefer to force a tie if Shane is getting their votes. Danielle said Scott will then have to get the blood on his hands. Jason and Justin then went off to the bedroom together. Jason and Justin agreed that Danielle is so smart since she basically just came up with the same plan that Scott’s side did. Jason said Danielle just gave them a pass to vote her out so now she will have to stick with them even when they do.
8:00-9:00 PM: The live diary room sessions took place. Whitney said she is loyal to the Ball Smashers. Alex said she is loyal to them too, though she is likely to shift her loyal towards the newly formed alliance with Jason, Justin and Scott as time goes on. Alex admitted that it would be result in screwing over her sister. Alex apologized to Morgan and said she will get over it. Jason said he too is shifting his loyalty away from his original alliance and towards the newly formed alliance. Jason said he wants to protect Alex and Scott. He explained that this game is about progressing and not about friendships. Meanwhile, Danielle spoke to Kryssie about making a move against Justin one Alex and Scott are out of the picture. She said Justin is in the best position in the house because everyone loves him and America too likely adores him. Danielle said it’s game over if you are with him at the end and he is more well liked than you are. Back in the diary room, Shelby said that she is loyal to the Ball Smashers. She then spoke to her allies in the HoH room. They discussed that they are all still on board with voting Shane out. Shelby said the fact that the other side wants Shane to stay is all the more reason to vote him out.
9:00-10:00 PM: In the backyard, Jason got Scott caught up on the happenings in terms of Danielle’s plan to force a tie in order to make him get blood on his hands. Jason attempted to get Scott to open up to the idea of targeting Danielle. He said Danielle is a problem. Scott argued that Shane is the most dangerous player there and that’s why he needs to go. Jason reiterated that Danielle came up with the same plan that Scott did. Scott acknowledged that Danielle is a threat but he wants Shane to go first. As for the new alliance, Jason let Scott know that Neeley is not a good option for a fifth member because she is still after Alex more so than some other girls. Both agreed that they are fine with keeping the alliance at four for now. After Justin brought up that the other side may be trying to fool them into thinking that they are voting Danielle, Shane started to wonder if he could be the one getting those votes. Kryssie informed him that the Ball Smashers are talking about voting him out. Kryssie figured that they are trying to confuse Justin because they know that he will run back to them with the information. Back in the diary room, Morgan discussed that she is loyal to the Ball Smashers but she is most loyal to Alex. She hopes that Alex has her back as well.
12:00-1:00 AM: Jason headed up to the HoH room to let Scott know that his side is onto the plan that Scott will evict Shane it they can force a tie. Jason said their main goal is to keep Shane instead of Danielle. Scott said he doesn’t feel like he owes them anything downstairs and he has been burnt by Shane so many times that there are no pros to keeping him. Jason said that’s understandable but he wanted Scott to be prepared because Shane might be reckless and come at him in his speech. Jason said it will be tough to alleviate the target on Scott if he wins HoH, because these people feel burned as well. Jason said his side is discussing nominating Alex next to Shelby and then backdooring Scott if Alex comes down. Jason let Scott know that he is still on board with splitting the vote to force a tie since he wants Danielle to go and voting her out will not change anything. Scott agreed and said he is fine with getting the blood on his hands by evicting Shane with his vote.
