Big Brother: Over The Top Day 31 - Shelby receives the care package

October 28, 2016

1:00-2:00 PM: America’s Care Package was delivered. Shelby received it and now has the power to eliminate three eviction votes this week. Jason told Danielle and Justin that America hates them. Justin agreed. Danielle said she does not understand. The Ball Smashers headed inside with Scott and were singing God Bless America. While the others did not know what they were saying, they could hear the celebration from outside. They discussed that they never celebrate like that. Jason wished Kryssie luck because he thinks one of them will be nominate this week. Kryssie said she will start packing. Danielle questioned how America could like the other side when they are such horrible people. She said she will be so pissed if she gets out and sees that production is spinning it to make them look bad and make the other side look great. Danielle said they are basically being bullied and being picked on every single week. She added that they cannot catch a break no matter how hard they fight. Justin told her “it ain’t over until it’s over”. Jason figured that his rant about Shelby was viewed as him being horrible and had people saying “poor Shelby”. Seeing as America gave Shelby the care package, Jason expects that they will nominate him. Justin doesn’t understand why America loves Shelby so much when her personality is terrible. Jason said America doesn’t see that that side is terrible. He brought up how they even have production on their side. Jason said he has to keep telling himself that America knows what they are doing. Back inside, Whitney told Shelby that Danielle’s side will probably put her up and tell her that they will vote to keep her if she doesn’t cancel out their votes. Alex, Morgan, Scott and Whitney agreed that Shelby cannot trust the other side if they try to make a deal with her. Morgan suggested that Shelby talk to Danielle and try to figure out what she is thinking with regards to nominations. Shelby said she wants to talk to Danielle alone and not in a group setting. The Ball Smashers and Scott discussed that they need America to nominate someone from the other side and then they need to win the veto ensure that that person remains on the block come eviction night.

2:00-3:00 PM: Alex spoke with Jason and told him that she let Justin know two days ago that she still wants to work with him and with Jason. Alex said she doesn’t know what Jason’s relationship with Scott is like. Jason doesn’t think Scott is on board with him now that he didn’t take the deal he offered him last week. Alex assured Jason that she will not be targeting him or Justin if she wins HoH. Jason said Alex was already good with him even before this talk. Jason pointed out that Alex is steering the ship on the other side. He said he has no problem with that cause he is not going after the captain. Out on the hammock, Danielle encouraged her friends and family to nominate one of the girls from the other side. She said she does not want Scott to go on the block since he is irrelevant. Danielle told America that she needs them this week in order to have a fighting chance. Danielle said she doesn’t want to be away from her son for all of this for no reason. Danielle then said she will win the veto this week because she doesn’t have any other option. Danielle asked America to be allies with her and work together with her. She said she is a single mom trying to follow a dream that she has had since she was a kid. Danielle encouraged the viewers to make the game worth watching. Jason then stopped by. He said Alex and Scott are the two people on that side that are playing hard enough to possibly make a deal and vote their way this week. Danielle said they can approach Alex and Scott, telling Scott she doesn’t care for him personally but they can make a good game move. Jason said they should leave that pair alone cause their friends will just defend them anyway. Danielle said she didn’t plan on touching them and she was only going to touch Alex if America nominated three of them, they had all the votes and she won veto and could put Alex up. Danielle said it wont happen this week and neither Alex or Scott will go. Jason said it will help even if they get a little fish out from that side. Danielle revealed that she has been planning on nominating Morgan and Shelby. Jason agreed that it’s the best move. Jason said there is no need to worry that you are nominating someone America loves in Shelby, because America already nominated Danielle anyway.

3:00-4:00 PM: Scott told Alex that they need to make sure that Alex and Shelby are not nominate next to each other. Scott suggested that they spend more time with Morgan so that she will vote with them over Whitney. Alex said she is confident that Morgan will vote with them. Scott pointed out that they don’t have to worry about the replacement nominee if the original nominations go their way, because that would mean that America’s Nominee is still on the block. Scott told Alex not to go out of her way to campaign for him since they are good as long as Alex and Shelby are not nominated. In the bathroom, Alex asked Shelby if her goal is to get Danielle to nominate Justin. Shelby said she wants it to be someone on Danielle’s side and she thinks that Justin is coming for her. Shelby looked for reassurance that she will not be voted out if she is on the block. Alex said they will not vote her out and she hopes that it’s not the two of them nominated next to each other. Alex told Shelby that if they are forced to turn on each other this week, the two of them need to stick together with Scott. The two discussed that Whitney would need to be the one to go if it comes down to a worst case scenario in which they lose one of their own.

4:00-5:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Danielle told Justin that she is going to let Scott know that even though she personally cannot stand him, it doesn’t mean that she is not willing to play the game. Danielle said part of her wishes that Justin voted to evict Neeley because it would give her more hope if America voted to evict Scott. Justin said that even though he didn’t trust Neeley, he was still going to vote with his team because it was important to Kryssie. Justin said the only person he trusts on the other side is Whitney. He thinks that Whitney is closer to Alex than the other girls, but all of the girls are disposable to Alex and Scott. Danielle mentioned that no one has come up to her to talk yet, even though they had all talked to Kryssie by this point last week. Danielle asked Justin who he would vote to evict if Morgan and Shelby were nominated next to each other. Justin said Morgan because he does not see Shelby as a threat. Justin expects America to vote Morgan out as well. Danielle discussed her plan to remove America’s Nominee from the block depending on who it is. She said she would definitely take anyone from their side off the block but she would also use the veto on Scott and possibly on Whitney or Alex. In the have-not room, Scott spoke to the viewers and told them that Jason approached him about a deal in which they will be kept safe if they promise not to evict him if he is America’s Nominee. Scott said it’s amazing and such a good deal.

5:00-6:00 PM: Morgan told Alex that she wants to speak with Danielle before Whitney gets a chance to. The girls agreed that Morgan and Whitney are playing similar games and it would benefit Morgan to do that. Morgan said the advantage she has over Whitney is that she can say it would be beneficial to take her to the end as opposed to Whitney who would win. Alex told Morgan not to throw Whitney under the bus. Alex suggested saying that there are people in the house who will win and she is not one of them.

7:00-8:00 PM: Prior to the live diary room sessions getting underway, Alex told Morgan that Jason said he talked to Danielle and he said neither she nor Scott are the target. Morgan figured that meant that it would be her or Whitney. Alex said it could be Shelby too. Alex said she doesn’t want to freak Morgan out by telling her that but she is trying to protect herself. Alex said she is going to work to protect Morgan too but her first priority is making sure that she does not go on the block.

8:00-9:00 PM: Scott asked Alex about the “gift” Jason is offering them. Alex said Jason claimed he could convince Danielle to keep them off of the block as long as they keep him safe. Scott said Jason wants them to keep him if he is America’s Nominee. Alex said they can work with that deal. Both agreed that Jason is not likely going to be America’s Nominee anyway. Scott expects it to be Kryssie. Scott figures that Danielle will nominate the two weakest competitors on their side so that they can win the veto and save the third nominee. Scott said nominating the two of them would be the high risk/high reward strategy since they are more likely to win the veto. Scott told Alex that they went from the big targets to the power couple. Scott let Alex know that Justin also approached him and said Danielle is not planning on nominating him. Alex and Scott assumed that Whitney and Shelby would go on the block since they are the weakest competitors. Alex said she doesn’t want to have to make a deal with Danielle because she still wants her out. Justin joined them and said he doesn’t think either of them will go up on the block this week. Scott asked if they should still talk to Danielle. Justin said they definitely should. Justin said he is trying to persuade Danielle to put Morgan up in order to keep the heat off of them. Alex said they will return the favour if they are kept safe. After Justin left, Alex told Scott that if they have to turn on one of their own, she would rather take out Whitney than Morgan because she can see Whitney winning the game. Scott said they need to keep Whitney around because she is going to win a care package. They agreed that they do not want to get rid of any of the three girls. Scott asked if they should scale back their deal with Danielle to a one week deal. Alex said yeah. She said she is fine with keeping Jason and Justin safe next week. Scott told Alex that their number one thing should be focusing on improving their relationships with Morgan and Shelby.
